the right drawing was traced from the ancient armour in botw! it was my starting point and the inspiration for the first sketch on the left, though i ended up going with a more obviously/visibly mechanical design in the middle

i recently got back into using post it notes and collage elements in my sketchbook, it's a lot of fun

scourge aasimar are wild tbh. u have this divine heritage and connection to an angel that grants you magic, with which u are expected to help people and do good. but also ur power is so destructive and strong that u hurt everything around u uncontrollably when u use it, friend or foe, good or evil, including yourself? man that sucks.
