#10 BeamNG.Drive is one of the best driving simulators, not just a crashing simulator

You probably seen a game called BeamNG.Drive on many sites including Youtube. You may picture as a game for crashing cars made for kids, but this is only the perception that many YouTube channels make it to be. BeamNG simulates almost every part of a vehicle making it one of the most realistic driving simulators ever, it even has a indepth customization system and huge modding community. However many YouTube channels like to use this game for kids content and these videos usually are what get popular.

Because of all this, BeamNG.Drive doesn't get recognized by many car and racing fans as an actual good game when in reality it's one of the best ever to be developed.

Now just because BeamNG is actually a good driving game doesn't mean it's bad at crashing, infact that's still one of the best parts of it. Many driving games suffer from the fact that if you make a mistake there's not too much of a consequence unlike real life where every turn and push on the pedals matter. Due to BeamNG's realistic crash physics and driving physics, you have to be careful with car or risk damage, even minor crashes can affect how your car drives.

THIS is the 2024 Velasco Super Swirling Concept, it comes from the fictional Brand Velasco which is a semi luxury brand similar to Cadilac and Lincoln

Velasco is owned by Powell Motors, another fictional company that makes more normal cars like dodge or Ford does, both Velasco and Powell are American.

The Super Swirling Concept shows what to expect from Velasco in the years to come. The design is supposed to be luxurious and the headlights are like wings.

Above is a advertisement found in magazines for the R31 Nissan Skyline. Now this is actually only half of the full Ad, however I think this crop version looks a lot better, it's even my lockscreen wallpaper. Below is the full advertisement

In the 1980s Nissan was struggling because people saw their cars as boxy and dull, so they did the exact opposite of what most struggling companies did and they went into sports. the R31 did win some races but wasn't very good at it, however it did pave the way for the R32 and it's domination in motorsports.

Advertising Wednesday is when we look into the world of Car Advertisment

Fiji Toyota Commercial

This is a crazy ad for a Toyota truck that was made and aired in Fiji, Fiji isn't the biggest country in the world so the commerical isn't the best production quality, and I love the ad. It features a whole plot and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang style flying car scenes

My Own BeamNG Car Ads

I love playing BeamNG and if you don't know what it is you HAVE TO check it out. It's probably the most realistic car game and it has it own fictional brands, because of that me and many other people have made fictional ads for these cars, Here are some I made and I might feature what other people have made in a future post.

Porsche Advertising

I've done a lot of researching for automotive advertising and these keep popping up, they are all in the same style with a similar title/caption these were all printed in magazines and became very iconic. Although Porsche have done new style of advertising since these, we will always remember the creativity put into these ads

Italdesign Columbus: the Weridest Concept Car

Is a Wagon? Is it a Minivan? Who knows? This is the Columbus designed by Itaildesign in 1992 and it was made to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America. It was made with carbon fiber, a BMW V12, and a center driver seat(so basically a Mclaren F1) however it also had 4WD and a total of 7 seats which can swivel. This car obviously stayed a concept however it still exists in the world and is still owned by Itaildesign

The Chrysler Turbine Car

This was a car that had a very promising future for not only itself but also the entire automotive industry, but had a unfortunate end.

Chrysler once had a idea to put a Turbine engine into a car and in 1963 that's exactly what they did. There was 55 made that were used to experiment, and had a user program where people from various cities drove it and collected data. The car could run on anything as long as it was flammable. Chrysler once gave the President of Mexico a ride in one, he asked if it could run on tequila and sure enough it worked. So what happened to the car?

Also all of them were crushed or destroyed in other means by Chrysler, 9 still survive and are owned by museums and collectors including Jay Leno. The reason why the Turbine car was destroyed isn't entirely known however Chrysler executive have said that they didn't want prototype cars going into the Public and replace the Turbine engine with piston ones.

New Lamborginis for 2023

Lamborghini recently been doing a lot of one-offs like the Countach and the Sian but some new ones just came out. And no it's unfortunately the ones we been seeing in the spy shots but rather a diffrent car. It's the Invencible and Auténtica and unfortunately these are the last cars from lamborghini that will have a naturally aspirated V12. The new Lamborghinis come with new designs with lots of hexagons and and surprisingly no Y shaped lights or bodywork

Rotary in a new Mazda

You read that right. Mazda is indeed putting a rotary engine in a new car. However it's not what you think. You see, Mazda recently made their first electric car, the MX-30. So now they are putting the new rotary engine as a range extender (the rotary charges the battery)

Don't lose hope though. There are many rumors and even patents that say that Mazda will use the new engine in a sports car.

Cars from Games built in real life

Burning wrenches is a youtuber who builds cars from scratch. Things from the Quadra v-tech or the ramp car from GTA V. He also build other cars and things like the cybertruck or the Kratos axe. Most of his projects are unfinished but a few are finished.

Chevrolet XT-2 concept

I know, I usually put these concept cars at the beginning of posts. The Chevrolet XT-2 was a concept car built in 1989 which looked like a futuristic El-Camino. It was also built as a pace truck and was meant to be used in Indy car but never was. The long front windshield and be lifted up to reveal the engine which was a V6 that had 360 Horsepower. I can't find any info on what happened to it except that apparently it still spotted at shows so it's still around (despite me not finding any pictures of it that wasn't taken in the 80s or 90s)

This is an ad for the Toyota Corolla for 1986. It's was made it look much more exciting then it was.

Bizzare Peugeot 207 Ad

Here is a pretty bizzare Peugeot 207 ad. Many people like to hate on this ad because the other cars in the ad are considered better then the 207. What is werid is that the advertisement is Cleary set in the US however the 207 was never sold there

F1 Engine in a Minivan

The year is 1994 and the 10th anniversary of the Renault Espace minivan was coming up. Renault wanted to celebrate this and since F1 was another successful thing Renault was doing at the time. They made a minivan with the heart of a F1 car. It came with a V10 that made 789 BHP that was planted straight in the middle of the car in-between the rear seats. It also was very wide and needed carbon fiber reinforcements, They also had to put a ridiculous wing on it. It obviously was just a concept car however unfortunately this concept has been mostly forgotten.

"The Customer States" Compilations

I found this youtube channel that makes compilations of mechanics finding ethier the weridist car issues or car issue with a very obvious. Things from a entire car being filled with curry under the floorboards or to a customer not knowing how to turn a knob to make the AC colder. I highly suggest you watch these because they might be better then you think

Detailed lego cars

Last thing of today is this amazing Lego builder that builds various cars. These are usually first designed in a Lego building software and then built in real life. He also makes instructions for these vehicles that you can buy on his website. The cars are very detailed and are built to around the same scale of official Lego Creator/Icons cars.

Tune Your Own Crocs

Last things of today is this online Etsy store that sells car parts for Crocs. Things such as pop up headlights, intercooler, wings, engine blower, and much more. These were all made using a 3D printer and can clip onto your crocs. This is definitely going on my Lightning McQueen Crocs.
