I’ve realized I haven’t been posting much or at all on this blog the past couple of months and I’ve finally realized why. Throughout the years I was using fandoms and these fantasy worlds as my coping mechanism for the the bullshit in my life but now my life isn’t as bad. Now I’m not constantly looking for an escape and I haven’t been really into most of my fandoms because of that. This doesn’t mean I don’t like the shows I still love them but I’m just not as obsessed with them as I once was.

Got to meet Jared Gilmore today he was so kinda and sweet. Then when we had to say bye I thanked him for being an inspiration to me and for the show since it was there for me during hard times and he was really sweet about it. He even opened up about his depression and anxiety. Such a sweet guy and I’m thankful to have met him.

Going to give this warning before people start to read it. This is long and not really about OUAT but about how it effected me. Now if ur sensitive to things about suicidal thought and/or depression I wouldn’t read this.

“It’s been two years but atleast once a month my mind goes back to what am I supposed to do without OUAT to keep me going; to be my lifeline. Now I know u might be thinking why is she over exaggerating so much about a tv show but I’m not. I found OUAT when I was around 8/9ish due to my parents as at the time it was like season 3. Right before I started watching it I changed schools and had no friends not only that but started getting bullied. There were constant rumors about me being trans or gay...I was 8 I didn’t even know what those meant. My teacher thought I was retarded due to my learning disabilities and the school thought I was lying about it all. My parents knew little about it since I didn’t want to bother them, my mother was pregnant at the time. One day my mother tells me about a show she and my dad watches called ‘Once Upon A Time’ I admittedly got addicted. It brought out a smile and made my life easier. Flash forward to 4th I became depressed but still OUAT always brought a smile to my face. By then I was crying myself to sleep every night or was having nightmares about my family either hating me or leaving me. Now flash forward again to mid 6th grade I became suicidal not a day went by when I didn’t want to kill myself or caused myself some sort of pain. I had no one but some fake toxic friends who would judge me for even breathing wrong, I still had rumors about me, teachers still thought I was retarded even though I was an A student, and the school staff thought I was lying. Even in that dark time OUAT still brought a smile on to my face. When I wanted to end it all I would always think back to it and it kept me going a day longer. Now a year after that it was announced to be canceled and I cried it was all I had left. That same year my parents decided I should apply to some alternative learning private school. The one friend I thought I made well he started ghosting me over the summer then pretended I didn’t exist when school came around. All I had was OUAT. When it ended back in May of that year I cried and cried, I had panic attacks, and I didn’t want to believe it was over. That summer I decided to go to a rock camp and started playing the bass guitar not only that I made genuine friends I was getting better. It was only then did I realize I was never going to be able to watch another new OUAT episode ever week. I had a massive panic attack that night I couldn’t breath but I kept silence. I mourned the only happiness I ever got most of my childhood. To this day it’s still hard to see something about the show. To this day I still need it when my thoughts get really bad again or when the panic attacks when I can’t breath start up again. OUAT meant and still means the world to me because it was the thing that kept me alive.”

So this has probably already been figured out but I’m slow...

So the first time we really see a Klaroline scene is 3.11 and the confession scene was 5.11 which at the time was there goodbye for all we knew. They made the hello and the goodbye exactly 2 seasons apart and honestly if that doesn’t sound pre planned then I don’t know what does. But that’s not all because 4.13 in TVD Caroline is dying due to Klaus’ bite and that is the first time she confesses that Klaus is not all bad then in 5.13 of TO which as we all know is the finale but not only that but the last confession Caroline ever makes to Klaus. Which to me also sounds pretty pre planned.

So in conclusion Julie Plec making us suffer was probably pre planned.

So this happened

My family and me decided to watch wonder again. Mind u I watched it like last year before legacies was even a thing and didn’t cry. But this time I’m watching it and when Miranda(Danielle Russell) cried I was in tears. And if that doesn’t explain how much I stan Hope Mikaelson then I don’t know what does.

And as of recently Iain Shipp left the band with the news of three sexual assault charges. Two from his exes and one from anonymous woman. The band made a statement saying that the split was on good terms and was for the benefit of the band but they will still back him up and stay friends.

Dear New Hey Violet Fans

This band is NOT a new band

they have been a band since 2008

This band started as a band called “Red Shadow” With Julia Pierce,  Mariana Vartanyan, Nia Lovelis and Miranda Miller

Their most notable show was at The Roxy, where the band continued to play until 2014

Mariana then departed (either kicked out or left) and Rena joined the band as a temp bassist, and their name changed to Cherri Bomb

This was the arrangement for 5 years almost. Nia and Rena’s mother Ana was also their manager throughout this time, and it is thought she was involved with Mariana leaving. 

Whilst this was happening and for the next few years, Ana Lovelis was trying to get her family a reality TV show called “True Lovelis” however this failed.

True Lovelis later becomes the name of Ana’s podcast. 

Cherri Bomb was signed to Hollywood Records, with Samantha Maloney as their official manager, and released an EP called Stark, which featured a cover of the song “The Pretender” by The Foo Fighters. 

They also went on to tour with The Foo Fighters and many other bands. They had planned to tour with Smashing Pumpkins however this never went ahead due to reasons below. (Bush, Camp Freddy, Filter, Foo Fighters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Staind, Steel Panther and Lostprophets*)

*( There is much drama involving this band, or more specifically Ian Watkins. He is a convicted child rapist, and molested a baby. Rena has continued to defend him and his actions because they are friends. Lostprophets slept on their tour bus one night during Warped Tour.)

They released an album called This Is The End Of Control, which charted on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums, and their song Shake The Ground got featured on the Avengers soundtrack. 

They were at Warped Tour 2012, and also went to Reading and Leeds festival UK.

In January 2013, Rena, Nia and Miranda announced on facebook that Cherri Bomb had left Julia. Julia later posted that this was not her decision, and it was a shame things ended up that way. (On the day the status was posted by Cherri Bomb, the official account password had been changed and Julia had no way of accessing the Cherri Bomb account. She could also not contact the girls during this time. However, Nia did get in contact ONCE after this happened.)

Rena then took over as front women and the band continued, playing songs from TITEOC and even playing “The Great Betrayer” which is one of their old songs. 

Casey soon joined the band, as Nia, Rena and Miranda had been playing with him before Julia has been removed.

There is much controversy surrounding Julia’s departure, however it has been confirmed by Julia herself, (along with others that were friends with the band), that she was kicked out of the band. 

Similar to Mariana, it is thought that Ana Lovelis is involved in Julia’s departure also.

After Julia was kicked out, the band was dropped from Hollywood Records, due to them violating their contract.

Their manager (Sam) had left months prior to this, due to the angst in the band. 

Cherri Bomb ceased to get signed or picked up for 2 years, and went through a long process of rebuilding their career.

Nia and Rena became presenters on Revolt TV, which is a very small rock channel and magazine. Cherri Bomb played once. They wrote songs during this time - Creepin’, Scars…

In 2014/15, they officially resurfaced with their first official original in 3 years “This Is Why”

They were also posting covers on their youtube channel during this time.

Their new sound was very pop compared, however still kept their punk/rock origins. 

In 2015, they got picked up by 5 Seconds of Summer, and signed to Capitol and Hi or Hey Records. This lead to their EP “I Can Feel It”

However, they did not write their single.

Their EP did chart.

Some time during their tour with 5SOS, Rena decided to stop playing bass so she could focus on her singing. 

She also took out her dreads and has permanently kept them out. (There has been lots of drama surrounding this also, with people asking her to remove her dreads due to cultural appropriation/finding them offensive to their culture and rena also retweeting a tweet saying “rena doesnt care about your ‘#blacklivesmatter’ “ ). 

Since then, they have had many bassists play for them.

They toured with 5SOS for a few months while doing a 5-show tour themselves.

They also toured again with 5SOS in 2016, and in late 2016, they released their Brand New Moves EP

however there is a lot of drama around their songs “fuqboi”, “Guys my age” “makeup” and “pure”, due to fuqboi’s offensive nature, makeup which glorifies abusive relationships, guys my age which glorifies under age relationships, and pure which states you are unpure if you have had sex, and that sex cures you. 

It was after this when they announced Iain Shipp would be joining their band, and they were officially classed as a pop band.

A thought I had while rewatching BBC Merlin

Ok so I just rewatched season 2 episode 11 and I realized no one talks about the amazing merthur scene. Personally I find that to be an important scene. Arthur realizing something is wrong with Merlin because Merlin’s demeanor is different, how he wasn’t acting correctly, how he wasn’t speaking as much. He thought he was scared and thought he should have let Merlin stay back at Camelot. Even if he played it off as being annoyed at Merlin. I feel that the scene shows how much Arthur truly cared about Merlin and noticed Merlin.
