Fiction-al Bookshops Signs WORK IN PROGRESS!

I have shared some of these designs in my IG stories as I've been working on them but not all of them.

What started as a sort of loose shape doodle thing, because I didn't know what to draw, quickly became a fun little project. I then added colours because I couldn't resist haha.

No idea where I'm going to be going with these. Maybe my first Acrylic pieces? I feel like these as keychains would fun as well as stickers obviously. Though I would LOVE to hear what you guys think these might look good as, as well as if you even like them 😅

I think they might be my next Kickstarter, maybe in May? Depends how long it takes me to get these finished. undecided if I want to vector the designs or not hmmmmmmm

Am I missing anything obvious? And if so what would you call that specific bookshop? 👀

I met MULTIPLE @sshannonauthor fans at ACME spring, it was surprising and DELIGHTFUL!

My Bone Season big quote pin was definitely a best seller at ACME Spring and I am here to say that stock is starting to get low. Now down to the last 30 from the 100 I ordered many years ago 😅 Once they are gone they are GONE! Same applies to my Build Your Own Book Stack Seven Dials pin! Abhorsen/Garth Nix Appreciation post!

So I needed to get my butt over to Tumblr as it appears all The Old Kingdom fans are here haha. MY PEOPLE!

So I've pulled together a bunch of Old Kingdom items I've made (not all of them, I sold out of my Abhorsen's Sword and Mogget a while ago) or am in the process of trying to get made (I've tagged each photo with a link to the item or KS) I will forever want to make stuff for this series.

I refer to Sabriel as my heart book. I read it at least once almost every year haha, more so during years where I need to be grounded. I first had the story on cassette tape (god I am old) at 13 years old. I listened to it so much i destroyed all the tapes!! I am soon to be 34 so that gives you an idea of how long this book/series has been part of my life.

I have been asked if I will make other charter marks or a set of bells and the answer is I don't know, maybe?? I haven't thought too much about what specific Old Kingdom merch I want to make next.

Ending with a flashback to my bookselling years, at the Goldenhand event at Waterstones Deansgate in 2016! (I don't think I've ever shared a picture of myself on Tumblr so I'm sorry it's me of 2016 but Hi! I'm Fiona if you don't alreasy know hehe)

I have a mix bag of stock left for this Grishaverse Second Army inspired kaleidescope set. At least one of these designs has as low as only 1 left in stock. None of these will EVER be restocked! And they will not come back as other types of products either. The designs will be retired.

Can you believe I made these in 2021???? The stock I have left right now is from the late 2021 restock after you guys sold me out during the original run (which has never happened before or since haha)

They were also a big teaching moment for me in terms of restocking. I still have stock of them years later which isn't ideal tbh so this is why I am so wary of doing restocks. I'm selling these reduced to try to clear space so I'm loosing money on them but sometimes you gotta make that call 😅 At least I know that lots of people own these and love them! 💜

Book Portals COMING SOON!!

As my current KS comes to a close, I'm slowly prepping for my next! I have a lot of designs to work on and it's taking longer than planned but I think I'm finally going in the right direction with the overall font and vibe choices. I thought about going more textured (version 1) but given these are probably gonna be more likely 40mm in size than the 65mm I did recently, it just didn't look clear so back to my usual bold lines it is! (Though do let me know if you would like them as bigger wooden pieces with options for pin backs/magnets/as is etc as I want to make sure I'm getting it right 😊)

Galaxy Portals KS rewards should begin shipping in the next week (just need to tape them up, sort addresses and process each one, it'll probably take me a couple days!)

Remaining Galaxy Portals will be available when the shop reopens. They are spread across each option, no extras, magnet, pin backs and keyring! I have limited amounts of some of them just keep that in mind! And as always they are a bit more expensive than on the KS BUT they are still a super reasonable price for 65mm goodness!

Anyways I hope you've all been doing well and doing lots of reading.
