I entered two paintings into the Ori discord's October art contest (the theme was "enemies"); I had a great time with them and honestly they helped me continue to solidify my watercolor process (each one featured a slightly different way of painting)
The first is inkwash, watercolor, and colored pencil (roughly 9x12")
The second is watercolor, colored pencil, and digital color edits (roughly 6x20")
The second painting--the boss rush one--ended up being one part 'enemies' and one part tribute to the games as a whole and the sense of determination throughout. I'm not exaggerating when I say the Ori games got me through some weird times in life. They're a comforting sense of constancy.
Based on a fic called A Wild Time at Calamity Ganon
This was a gift fic from @musical-chan about Mask ending up at the end of another hero's journey (Wild). Yeah, I'm still thinking about this fic aksgfshdn
The funniest thing about this is the implication that Jack edited those signs himself and then got them printed out somewhere
I know the "Vlad fursuit" is the main focus here, and it is very bizarre, but the posters really are the cherry on top of this obsessive weirdo cake....
Like you know Jack is the one who made these, because he's the only person who calls Vlad "V-Man"
This man was sat at the family computer with a 2004 version of Photoshop editing random photos of Vlad that he has saved...
Imagine being Jazz, it's like 9PM and you need to check on your Neopets before bed, you walk into the computer room and your dad is just there... editing photos of your fucked up and evil uncle....
