oh you are going to LOVE what i'm about to show you!!
from batman, legends of the dark knight #168
so there's actually a story from 2003 that starts off with batman falling several stories and onto the concrete– and on the way down he hits his head, giving him amnesia.
the entire issue is narrated by batman himself– and it's clear that although he doesn't remember anything prior to falling, he does remember batman, although he at first refers to himself in third person rather that remembering that he himself is batman, and he even questions why he doesn't use guns– he also doesn't remember the batmobile or the batcave. throughout the entire issue he attempts to fight crime despite his injuries and the fact that he doesn't remember how to actually fight.
and at the very end of the story, it's revealed that the batman we've been reading about isn't actually bruce wayne– he's a man named kyle nash, who fell several stories while roleplaying as batman with his wife during sex, and then believed himself to be the real batman when he woke up. when he meets the batman, bruce gives him a piece of advice: "the next time you want to spice up your married life, dress like superman."
in conclusion: does clark hear people roleplay as batman? maybe, maybe not– but since it's canon that clark has a tendency to listen in on bruce from far away (even if it's usually just his heartbeat) there is no doubt in my mind that clark probably heard this interaction from metropolis. LMFAO
saw a tweet that made me consider the fact that there must be thousands of gothamites every night who ask their SOs to roleplay as batman, in any position. and clark would just have to overhear it
i know hal has confessed things while touching the lasso of truth but i wonder if he (or any green lantern) could resist the lasso with, you know...... willpower?
here's a beautiful reminder that it's canon that bruce's birthday is february 19 and that hal's is february 20 which implies that they have likely had joint birthday parties in the watchtower
