And there you both were, in this position. you looked up at him shocked as he continued to grip your throat and glared down at you. Mark slightly glanced down at your lips and let go of your throat

"Tell the teacher to get you a new partner. Go home." you gasped for air as he let you go and you grabbed your bag and left from out of his room. You kept quiet and soon left his house without saying goodbye. you wanted to call renjun about this but you knew that he'll be on your butt because he told you to leave before 12... But why 12...

You continued your path home and went inside. This time your parents were no where to be seen "Wow.. What an amazing greeting" You went up to your room and fell onto your bed and slowly started think about mark. - mark was at his house sitting at the end of his bed thinking about what just happened a few minutes ago. He groaned and leaned up against his headboard and sighed "Why did I do that?.." He shook his head and got up and slipped on a hoodie and went out of his room. His parents and brother still weren't home as well but he brushed it off and left the home.

He pulled up his hood and shoved his hands in his pockets and repeated what he did every night.. look for a victim.. he went to a club and sighed as he walked around.. his nosed scrunched at the smell of alcohol and sweat. He continued to walk through everyone as he spotted a female sitting alone at the bar and he thought in his head "remember what donghyuck said.. I need to get over her somehow.." He sighed and took a seat besides her and ordered a drink. He saw her smirk at him in the corner of his eye as he felt a hand on his leg.

"You seem down.. maybe I can help you.." The woman said as her hand went up his leg. He chugged the rest of his drink and turned to her "I need a distraction." He grabbed her face and pulled her into a kiss to distract his thoughts as she kissed him back. He was disgusted but continued to kiss her.. He let his hands roam as it went on from there..

they were in a random room as she pushed him down onto the bed and kisses him like her life depended on it.. even while she was kissing him .. all he could think about was you.. he imagined your lips on his. the woman stripped off her top and kissed his neck and climbed onto his lap as his hands roamed her chest and down. she let out a moaned and gripped his hair. He soon stopped kissing her back and pushed her away "I can't do this... This is wrong.." he knew that he wasn't going to get anything out of this.

He stood up and pulled his hood back over his head "If you talk about this. Ill kill you. Be happy that I'm not in the mood. This meant absolutely nothing." The woman pulled the blanket over her and nodded as he gave her a cold stare and left the room.. he shoved through the crowd, vision blurring as he thought about you.. and he dragged his feet out of the club.

He tried everything... making out with strangers, going to clubs, having sex, killing and feeding off of people... anything to satisfy his wants and needs.. but he still couldn't get his mind off of you... He wanted you.. and only you... and he knew that he was going to have you.. he craved your touch.. no matter how wrong it was - You yawned as you stepped in the same trashy building. School. You went to your locker and put your stuff away and gradually went to your first class.

You rushed to your desk before the bell rang and opened your note book. You started to doze off at what the teacher was saying until you remembered what mark said the other day.. you needed a new partner.

You waited after class to finally talk to the teacher "um can I talk to you?" She hummed and looked up from her laptop "yes?" You sighed and scratched your head as you continue to speak "well.. I need a new partner.. he requested- well we both requested that we can't really work well together.. I don't care if I need to work alone.. I Just need a new partner.."

you ranted out in one breathe as the teacher sighed and looked at you again "it's quite late for you to come to me about this, but I understand your concerns. This is a group project so I'll pair you up with another student who's also been having problems with their partner. Lee donghyuck."

You nodded and thought about the familiar name. Where did I hear that name from?.. you shook off the thoughts and nodded "thank you so much. I'll do my best!!" You smiled and left out of the class room and went to your other class.

Classes were finally over as you huffed and made it to the bus stop. You turned on music in your headphones as you sat down and waited for the bus. You soon felt someone sit down besides you. You slightly looked and quickly looked away.

"It's not nice to stare you know? Especially if your not gonna say anything." The guy said as he glanced over to you

"I'm um sorry.. you just look familiar.." you look down and slightly turn up your music. "My names donghyuck. If you didn't know.. we go to the same school" your eyes widen and snatch the earbud out your ear and look at him. "Wait.. your my new partner? My teacher set me up with someone named donghyuck.."

He slowly looked back at you and smiled "well I guess we're partners." You smiled back as you went on the bus and he followed behind her.

He knew exactly who she was. He knew it would be wrong to partner up with the girl that his brother liked, but after all.. he liked her too

Flashback

The little boy played with his ball in the yard as he turned to see his brother talking with a girl

"Donghyuck!! Come and meet her!!" Donghyuck looked at his brother then back at the girl and slowly walked over

"__ this is donghyuck and donghyuck this is __!!" The girl smiled and reached her hand out as donghyuck slightly shook her hand

"Nice to meet you.." the boy mumbled as the girl smiled

"Nice to meet you too!!" Before he could respond, they heard the sound of their mothers voice "mark!! Come here!!" they all looked at each other as mark sighed "I'll be back.. moms calling me"

He ran into the house and left the boy and girl together. They both sat down in the grass and stayed silent as the boy soon spoke up "your pretty." The girls head snapped towards him as her face reddened. "T-Thank you.." the boy smiled at her as she spoke up again "I'll call you hyuck"

The boy smiled and gave the girl a lily but before he could speak up, mark came back. "sorry I took so long-" he stopped and stared at the two as his smiled dropped. He pulled her away from him and stood in front "stay away from her." Mark said as he gritted his teeth and donghyuck stood up and scoffed "she's not yours. I'll talk to who I want to." He shoved past him and slightly smiled at her and went inside.

Leaving the other boy fuming, crushing the lily in his hands - He admitted to being a bad brother, but that didn't stop him. As soon as he met you, he felt like you were the most beautiful thing he's ever laid eyes on. So the first and last day mark introduced you.. he wanted to find out more about you.. most importantly, how amazing you were to make mark fall for you. He wanted you.. just as much as mark did.. and it all started from when he first handed you that lily..

You both sat on the bus as you listened to your music and he looked out the window.. you sighed and soon looked over at him and admired his features and soon snapped out of your thoughts and closed your eyes to sleep. - You groaned as you felt someone shaking your shoulder and tapping you awake "we're here. I'm not sure if this is your stop.. but-" you quickly sat up and looked out the window and grabbed your phone to check the time "SHIT!! Thank you for waking me up!! We can talk about the project tomorrow!!" You grabbed your bag and scurried off the bus without knowing that you dropped something.

The charm.

Donghyuck looked down and picked it up and looked at it and scoffed.. "guess this is what mark was hiding from me.. they both have little matches charms together.." he curled it in his hand and shoved it in his pocket and waited for his stop.

He made it home and made it up to marks room and knocked on his door. He heard a groan as he was soon greeted by a cold face "what do you want?" Donghyuck grinned as he held up the angel charm

"hmm.. look what I found.. does this look familiar?" Marks eyes slightly twitched as his fists curled "why the fuck do you have that?" Donghyuck chuckled and shoved it back in his pocket. "Let's just say... I've decided to get what I've been wanting..."

mark grabbed him by the collar and shoved him as he snatched the charm from his hands "donghyuck. You've done enough. Do you think this is a joke? I kept her away from you for a reason. And your not gonna take her from me. You already said that I couldn't be around her."

Donghyuck scoffed and he looked at him "she's not yours. And she never was. And I said you couldn't be around her. I never said I couldn't. I'm sure father wouldn't mind if I was with her anyway." Donghyuck stepped away and soon went into his room.

Mark realized one of the reasons donghyuck wanted him to get over you was so he could have you instead.

And once again... the red head was fuming, squeezing the charm. just like he did to the lily years ago

PART THREE | PART FOUR | PART ONE PART TWO

I called renjun.. as he was the only one I could vent to "Dude.. You don't understand.. I have to go to his house.. it's going to be so awkward.." He laughed over the phone as I scoffed

"You'll be fine.. trust me.. You always have heart eyes for him anyway. Don't think about it too much you idiot. Make sure you don't stay too late. Come back before 12:00" I could hear him turn a tad bit serious from the other end "Goodbye." I hung up in his face and smiled in victory.

I soon arrived outside of his house before I knocked on the door, I admired his house “wow, this place looks better than mine.” I laughed to myself and went to knock on the door. After a few minutes there was the same guy, the annoying red head.

“Come in.” Inside and he closed the door behind me. As I was looking around the place, I saw him going upstairs so I quickly followed behind him.

“So, um where are we working on the project?” I asked as he coldly looked back at me “My room.” He led the way towards his as I went in. It was not messy, but it was cozy.

I wanted to fall on his bed, but I held myself back from doing so. He walked over and sat in his chair by his desk and looked over to me. “What did you work on so far?” I hesitantly sat down on his bed and looked at him

“I worked on mostly all the harder parts... But I wanted you to at least have some parts in it too...” I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck and looked away from him.

He hummed and nodded then soon looked over the project as I looked around his room. I saw the same demon charm that was on his bag

Flashback

MARKS POV

I looked up to my father trying to break out of his grip, gasping for air. “I told you. I would kill her if I saw you with her again. You just don’t listen, do you?” His grip tightens on my throat, my back scraping up against the wall.

“I-I won’t let you... Near her...” I spit on his face as he shoved me down and let go “You ungrateful shit.” He grabbed my face, and I felt a painful slap. “I gave you a clear warning. I'm getting rid of her.” I saw him stand up and walk out of the house.

I gasped for air as he let go of my throat. I reached to grab his ankle to stop him, and he kicked me away. I coughed up blood and got up when I saw him disappear.

I limped to the door and wiped my mouth. “He will not touch her. H-He can’t...” I ran to the lake and saw her. She looked at me confused “What happened to your face? Why are the fish leaving? What is happening... They look like they are dying-” I held her hand "you need to go... You can’t be here.” She looked and started to panic “what? No. I’m not leaving you.”

“I will come back! Even if it takes forever..." I said as I held her hand tighter. I was cut off as the water rippled. I pulled her into a nearby small cabin... “Stay here, okay? I'll be back, okay? Don’t leave this cabin.”

She looked at me confused and grabbed my arm “what’s happening? I’m scared... Where are you going? Don’t leave me...” I panicked as I saw a tear roll down her soft cheek as she sniffed. I held her face "Stay here! I'll um be back.

Just don't come out until I come back" I placed an angel charm in her hand as I stepped out the cabin. She started to cry "please come back..."

I sadly smiled as the door locked. And I heard her cries get louder. I ran back to the lake and saw my father “Where is she, mark.” I shook my head “I’m not going to tell you. She is somewhere safe-” In the blink of an eye I was forcefully pushed down

“I’m tired of dealing with you. That is why I killed your mother. You are just like her. Annoying and pathetic. I should have never gotten with her. Then I would not have had you. Donghyuck takes after me. He LISTENS to me. Maybe I'm not being strict enough. You need to learn your lesson.”

I looked up at him shocked as tears flowed down my cheeks. I saw two demonic figures throw down matches. “No... NO!!!” I cried as everything was set on fire, and he laughed “I warned you. Now you learn.” He walked off and soon disappeared and left me with two demons.

“Oh... this is a young one...” One laughed “He should be easy to deal with.” They both tried to grab me, but I fought back. I kicked one of them and punched the other “YOU LITTLE SHIT. ILL KILL YOU” I got up and ran, still limping. All I could think about was how I had to leave her... “I am sorry... I will come back for you...” I blinked away my tears and continued running through the forest.

End of flashback

He soon saw me looking a the charm and he took it off and put it in his hoodie.

I wanted to ask but I was afraid to. "Um.. can I use the bathroom?" I said as he turned to look at me and hummed "down the hall on the left." He soon turned back to work on the project as I left the room.

I honestly didn't have to use the bathroom.. but I needed time to think... Why do I feel like I have a connection with him.. I brushed off my thoughts and soon left the bathroom.

I came back into the room and saw him closing up the books and everything. "I think that's enough for tonight.

You should go home. It's getting late." I looked at the time on my phone and realized that It was almost 12am. "It wouldn't hurt to stay a little longer.. We really need to get this done." I huffed out as I saw him tighten his grip on the book "Go. home."

He said as he gritted his teeth "Fine. i'll go. geez..." I went to step towards him to grab my book he soon stopped me "Stay over there." He said as he got up and was about to leave the room.

MARKS POV

Her scent... it's like it was driving me crazy.. she needed to leave.. before I did something that I would regret. I got up from the chair and left the room. I saw her look at me confused and she grabbed my arm

"Hey.. are you okay?" She said as I looked into her eyes...

"My angel... you have the most angelic eyes I have seen."

I snapped out of my thoughts and bit my tongue "I-I'm fine. let me go." I could've snatched out of her grip.. but something was stopping me from doing so. "No.. Your acting weird. I may not be the sweetest person to talk to but-"

End of marks pov

I felt a force push me to the wall as I looked up at him.. But something was different..

"I told you to leave, didn't I? I warned you, but you just won't listen... I wish you could just shut up sometimes. How should I make you stop running that mouth of yours? You should stay out of my business and stop being curious."

I gasped as I felt his hand grip my throat "After all, curiosity killed the cat."

PART TWO | PART THREE | PART ONE

Tuesday 8:43 am I looked over at the same boy again as I saw Renjun sit in his seat across from me. "How long are you going to stare at him?" I smacked his arm as I saw mark look over at us. I noticed that something was different about him. He looks away. I scoffed as I continued looking over at the board to see what the teacher was teaching.

"Today we will be having Partners! For this project you will be explaining this lesson so far as of as well as what you already knew before."

I blanked out hoping I would get Renjun or a random smart student but of course life was against me. "mark lee and __. Since you guys should've already got to know each other yesterday!" I gritted my teeth as Renjun laughed besides me. "Can I go use the bathroom.." the teacher nodded as I dashed out the class. I went outside to the roof as I wanted fresh air.

I sat at the edge of the roof I felt a force or air pushed me forward too much as someone grabbed my arm. "What are you doing?!" I turned and saw mark. "Did you not push me?.." he pulled me away from the edge as he looked at my arm. "I may not like you, but I wouldn't have a reason to push you. How did you get this bruise?" I looked at him in confusion as I looked at my arm and saw a big bruise.

He sighed and took me to the nurse as she just gave me some ointment to help it heal faster. "Thanks.." I said as we walked out the nurses office "yeah sure..." he said as he soon looked at me and walked away. I saw a guy come over to here and drag him outside.

I looked at him and he got dragged "what the fuck?.." - Here they were glaring into each others eyes. As his brother donghyuck shoved him into the wall outside of the school. Hands clawing into his neck, eyes beaming red. "I told you. You can't be around her. Do you not understand what our father could do to her? Are you really that dense?."

mark grips donghyuck's hand trying to get free. "How can I stay away from her when she doesn't remember? I will get her memories back and get her away from those demons. Our father is a pathetic monster. I won't let him near her. "

donghyuck lets him go as he fell to the ground and gasped for air. He snatched his face "If she gets hurt, don't say I didn't warn you."

donghyuck pushes him back to the wall and swung his bag over his body as his tongue fidgeted with his lip piercing out of habit and sighed as he walked away and he vanished.

Mark stayed on the ground, leaned up against the wall "You can't keep me away from her. She needs me just as much as I need her."

Time skip

I stayed at late after school finishing my project. Many students had already left and began packing up my bags to leave. I took my bag over my shoulder and walked out of the classroom. I was honestly surprised that they did not close the school yet.

I hurried through the door before I stayed the night there. As I was outside normally, I would go on the bus but of course since I stayed late working on my project alone, I missed it.

"No, I'm going home now. Stop being so scared. Ren, I know. Blah blah bad people are out at night. Yeah yeah. I have to go now, bye!"

I hung up and scoffed to myself "Not him acting like he cares about me-" I heard a scream and crying. "GET OFF OF ME PLEASE!!" They yelled.

I was confused on who was screaming during this hour.

I turned a corner and saw blood everywhere and a man with red hair biting something. I heard him spit blood out and wipe his mouth "bitter shit." I stepped forward to peak but stepped on a leaf. He slowly turn his head with a tilt.

There was blood slightly leaking from his mouth as he looked a me. Another guy with beauty marks stepped forward. "Come on. We don't have time for this."

I stayed frozen. I couldn't see the guys face clearly but I added one and two together. Red hair... maybe I should stop overthinking...

I remembered mark had texted me saying that he was busy and couldn't work on the project tonight.

the redheaded guy pulled up his hood and shoved past the other

"You can't be out here this late. You should be glad it was us. Go home." the other guy said to me as he pushed through and turned the corner, leaving the bodies and blood for all to see.

I looked back to them and they were gone. A thin gust of black wind slowly faded away.

I rubbed my eyes and let out all the air I was holding in, Thinking about what renjun said. "I need to go home.. Maybe that dumb ass was right.."

I went home and unlocked the door and was greeted with my surprisingly calm and collected mom.

"oh my gosh sweetie! Are you ok?"

I wanted to roll my eyes at her obvious faking but I just slowly nodded and told her everything.

She gave me a hug that seemed to hold no emotion. "You can't go out alone anymore. Go with your friend."

"renjun? No way. He is annoying."

She held my face "remember what I told you. I can only protect you if you listen to me."

Flashback

The little girl skipped down the side walk as the sun was slowly setting. She smiled and froze in her steps as she saw her friend.. Mark.. she was about to wave but he was with a tall man.. her smile slightly dropped and looked in confusion.

She quickly hid and listened to the conversation

"Who is that girl that you've been hanging around? Didn't I tell you to stay away from those annoying humans?" The man gripped the poor child's face and slapped him. The girl covered her mouth as hesitated to go help the boy that she could never admit she had a crush on but chose to stay hidden.

"Your brother listens to me better than you ever will. Your a brat and a cry baby. Grow up. Your older than your brother but you cry like a little girl."

The man scoffed and crouched down to the boy and grabbed his face again. The boy sniffs and stutters out a sentence "B-but she not human... I know she's not. She d-different.." The little girl looked in confusion but continued to stay silent.

The man chuckles and he tightens his grip on the boys face "This is my last warning. Next time ill go get her head myself. This is a promise"

The girl quickly ran back home to her mom and cried and told her everything. She hugged her and held her head. "its okay.. You need to stay away from that boy.. Okay? If you listen to me, I can always protect you.."

End of flashback

I nodded as I felt her grip on my face slightly tighten. She soon let go as I brushed past her to go to my room "goodnight."

I fell on my bed and prepared myself for another nightmare

I arrived at school and then my same boring routine as every other day. I walked into the school building and put my stuff away in my locker. from the corner of my eye, I saw that same cold redheaded boy, mark.

he was by himself putting your stuff away with the same bag, but I noticed something.. he had a type of charm...

it looked like mine but instead of an Angel it was a demon. I was going to squint to try to get a better look at it, but I soon saw him turning around.

So, I quickly close my locker grabbed my stuff and went to my first class, brushing past him in the hallway and I thought to myself “why is that charm so familiar?”

I sighed and pushed away my thoughts and sat down at my desk being greeted by the same annoying face.

“Hey. What took you so long? You walk like a sloth...” The same two shaded toned hair guy laughed “Renjun. I will smack you with this book.”

I huffed as I fell into the seat beside him. I promised myself that one day, I will change seats.

A few minutes later the teacher finally came in and began the lesson. Once again, mark was late. He soon walked to the back of the class and took a seat.

The teacher glanced but kept her mouth shut now if that were me, I would have detention especially if this were the 50th time week like him.

I sighed and continued to focus on the lesson.

Class finally ended and I made sure I was the first out the door I did not want to have to bump into anyone that I did not want to bump into.

However, at least that is what I wanted and of course you can never get what you want. As I was going out the door, I bumped into the one person I was not in the mood to see, Mark.

I groaned as I saw him about to walk away until I grabbed his arm “We need to work on our project. I have been doing most of it.” He looks back at me with a cold face and sighs

“Fine. Come over to my house later. I will send you the address. Also, you should stop staying at school late... It is not safe” If breaks out of the grip from my hand and walks back down the hallway.

“What? How does he know that I stay at the school late?..”

PART ONE | PART TWO

Flashback

Sweat trickled down the girls face as she remembered the nightmare she gets every night.

'You are one of us. Give in. Let us take over."

She peeked out the window as she climbed down the tree for the 30th time.

The little girl hopped across the stones in the garden as she made it to the pond. She picks up lily from the grass as she walked. The girl comes here every night after a nightmare. She sits down as she takes both sock and shoes off.

She let her feet hit the cold water as she look at the sky. The peace was cut short as she felt a force push her the the water. The girl held her breath as she sunk down feelings the bubbles surface around her body. She began to close her eyes as she felt a arm grab hers.

"Are you okay? I saw you fall into the water." The girl gasped for air as she continued to cough. She looked up and saw a kid her age. he stared at her. she looked like angel while he seemed like he had a darker demeanor within him. "I'm okay...."

The girl slightly smiles and face reddens st the sight of the boy.

She put back on her shoes and held her socks. The boy looked over to her as he stepped forward. "I'm mark... you seem cold. Here's my jacket! Get home safely." The girl nodded and she hesitated to grab the jacket in the child's hand.

But sooner than later she took it and bowed politely "thank you.." the boy smiled back as he watched the girl fade into the forest across the stones.

"Who is she and why are my boy talking to her?" The tall strange man spoke from afar

I huffed as I heard my alarm blast in my ear. I unwillingly get out of bed I get ready. "Mom I'm leaving! Tell dad.. if he's even home." I shut the door as I ran to the bus stop. Monday 8:30 am Here I was practically falling asleep waiting for our teacher as I let out a yawn. I felt a hand hit the back of my head as it was the most annoying person here.. Renjun "can't have you falling asleep in class now can we?" I slapped his hand away as I heard the class room door open.

The class went quiet as the teacher began speaking. "Well today class we have a new Student!" The girls squealed as they saw the oddly attractive red haired guy. "Introduce yourself!"

"I'm Mark." He said as he kept a cold straight face

Stuck up much I continued doodling in my notebook as I heard my name. "How about you sit in the empty chair near ___ . Raise your hand!" I unplugged one earphone as I slightly raised my hand as I plugged it back in my ear. I turned my volume up as I didn't want to hear the whispers around me.

I looked at the board as I felt shuffling besides me. I turned my head as I saw Mark looking at me. Our eye contact was cut short as I heard the teacher began talking again.

"___! Im talking to you. I want you to show this boy around." I opened my mouth to decline as she cut me off

"I don't wanna hear it! Now go!" I groaned as I pushed out my seat and pulled my cross bag over my head. I took out one ear phone as I led him out the door. Why me.. he stood there staring at me as his tongue fidgeted with his lip piercing. My eyes wandered around his face as I looked at his eyebrow piercing. His eyes locked with mine as he spoke.

"I don't need a tour." He said as he pulled his bag over his shoulder and walked down the hall as my eyes followed him.

Could she really stay away from him.. after all, curiosity killed the cat.

Tuesday 4:36 am I hopped over the stones again as I got the same nightmare. I carefully threw food to the fish and as I saw the huddle up in a group. "When will he come back? he promised me.. The boy pulled the girl into a near small cabin. "Stay here! I'll will be back. Just don't come out until I come back" The boy placed a charm in the girls hand as he stepped out the cabin. The girl cried "please come back.." he sadly smiled as the door locked. And the girls cries got louder. She looked down at the charm. It was an angel.

Which made the girl cry even more. "That silly nickname.."

Flashback

The boy sat next to her and hands her a sandwich. "Has anyone ever told you that you look like an angel?" The boy said as the girl face reddens "well. no..." The boy smiles "Well your my angel..."

five minutes passed, 10 minutes, 50 minutes, 2 hours... and no one came.. the girl opened the cabin door with the key on the charm. She coughed as dust filled the air. Fire.. she saw a fire being created my an anonymous figure as they ran. The girl wanted to look for the boy but the fire grew. She ran.. she could taste the salt of her tears as they went down her face.

"He lied to me. Why did he lie to me!" She yelled as she continued to run. She made it to her house as her mom was at the door frantically looking for her daughter. "Are you okay __?! I looked everywhere for you. I heard there was a fire.." the girl cried in the arms of her mother as her mother pulled her inside. "I'm sorry my daughter.. but it had to be done.."

The vision was a blur and to her.. I couldn't remember really anything. his name, his face, only the sound of his voice. Nothing was the same anymore. I kept the charm around my neck as my protection. The only piece on remembrance I had. What did my mother mean? It had to be done..

My mother was able to get people to rebuild and fix the pond and stones after the fire but it still didn't feel the same without them.. they made it feel like home. My thoughts were cut off by someone

"What are you doing here this late?" She turned to see a face she never expected to see. "Wait whats your name again... Mark? Why are you here?" He scoffed as he leaned up against a tree. "I used to come here when I was younger." He said as his eyes darted towards the charm. I looked away from him as I wiped my eyes.

I could feel his eyes still on me as I walked up to him. "have a good sleep." I said as he grabbed my arm. I looked at him in confusion "well um sleep well.." he let me go as I was confused by the sudden action. I hopped back across the stones. When I looked back I noticed that he was already gone. I paused

"How the hell did he leave that fast?"

He slowly looked at the girl from a far distance and muttered under his breath

"Angel, only If you could remember..."

I finished up and waved goodbye to everyone then went out the door

I walked down the sidewalk playing some music with my eyes closed as I felt the wind in my face

I soon felt pressure as I landed on my butt. "I'm so sorry!"

I said as I rushed to get up not daring to look the person in the eyes.

I heard a chuckle as I open my eyes to see someone with soft brown hair and a guitar on his back. "Hyuck? you scared me!"

I stared at him for a while the snapped out of it as I heard him speak

"It's rude to stare you know. Why are you acting like you haven't seen me before, I'm your boyfriend"

I scoffed "Shut up!"

He laughed and shook his head

"You should be glad to see me."

I looked down and realized he dropped his phone

I knocked on his door as I saw him in a hoodie with sweats. He let me in as we went to his room.

"I haven't been here in so long" I said looking around.

He scoffed "As if You weren't here last week."

I rolled my eyes and I grabbed his guitar.

And tried to play "MY EARS!" He yelled as he grabbed it.

"Look let me show you."

we finished out first lesson as we were watching a movie.

I stared at him from the side as his hand was on my leg.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He said as he turned his head.

"Nothing." He squeezed my leg and he paused the movie.

"Why did you pause!?"

He hovered over me and scoffed

"You know why I paused"

I felt his lips on mine as he pulled away to look at me.

we were making out for about 5 minutes until he got a call.

He groaned as he reached for his phone

The next day came as she looked over to him.

It was a special day for her

Haechan's birthday

"I'll be back! Don't miss me too much!"

She said as she walked to him

She was so proud of herself when she was finished shopping

"He's going be so excited!"

She bought him a gift for his birthday.

She carried the bags in her as she walked to cross the street.

Her phone rang and she picked it up.

"Where are you, It's been two hours?" Haechan asked in a worried tone on the other line.

"I'm coming home now, don't worry"

She said smiling to herself

"Okay be safe, I love you. Don't shop too much, I'll come and get you if your not here in 20 minutes!"

He said with a chuckle

"I Will." She sneered

She was cut off by a loud honk

All she saw was blood and soon darkness

"Hello? Are you ok? Babe?"

She said coughing up blood as everything went black -

He ran out of the house

They were in the mall on Valentine's Day

He showed her bracelets.

"I promise when I save up I'll get you the charm. Okay!"

She told him as she smiled with a determined face

They both laughed

He laughed and he kissed her

He said watching the ambulance drive off

— There he was sitting by a coffin watching her in a deep sleep of darkness. Holding her favorite flowers.

Cries went over the air

During those years he had never wanted to celebrated his birthday again

He always blamed himself for what happened

"Come back, p-please"

He said breaking down

There she was staring at him

He hugged her as he cried even more

Those words shocked him

He snapped out of his trance

He was shaking, he was hallucinating

All of these years they spent together were gone.

Flashback-

After he heard the news, he felt numb

He went back into his room and locked the door

He began to cry and scream

As he looked at the photo of both of you when you first went to the amusement park together.

"Let's come on your birthday every year!"

He look at the guitar as Their Initials on the bottom with a note.

- I keep my eyes on my phone as I hear the front door open. "Hey, babe! I wasn't sure about what chips you wanted so I got these!"

I slowly looked up and saw him hold up a bag full of snacks. wearing a plain white tee and jeans. I held back my smile as I looked at the clock.

"Look at what time it is. You said you'll be back three hours ago! We have to get ready for our four year anniversary! " I groaned out looking at him with my arms crossed. he held in his laugh looking like he was going to burst.

"Dude, what's funny?!" I said forcing a angry face

He failed and exploded with laughter.

"It's so funny seeing you trying to be mean and angry!"

When he saw that I rolled my eyes, he cleared his throat.

He tossed the bags on the chair as he wrapped his arms around me. "I'm sorry, I had got caught up with the guys and work. Listen, I'm gonna take you somewhere tomorrow, okay?"

I stared at his eyes as I saw that he had guilt I hugged him back. "Okay! Only if you buy me strawberry's."

He nodded his head " I will! I promise." He held up his pinky finger as I laughed

"Okay, promise!"

The next morning came by fast. I woke up to the smell of strawberry's. I hopped out of bed as I peaked out the door. I saw my boyfriend trying to make strawberry waffles.

I snuck behind him as I back hugged him. "Don't put the house on fire!" He flinched as he turned around "It was suppose to be a surprise.." He whined "I'm sorry, I heard chaos in the kitchen and I smelled it."

Once we were finish eating I thanked him and kissed him again as I ran away back into the room and closed the door. I went to the bathroom as I turned the shower on.

He gave me doe eyes and I groaned. "Fine!"

We got out of the shower as he took the towel and I took the robe. We brushed our teeth and washed our face.

As he was shaving his face I went to find a outfit to wear. I Put on a mini skirt with the belt and underwear band line in view, a spaghetti strap crop top and marks leather jacket. I grab some of his necklaces and put my jordans and and skipped out of the closet.

"Yo, How do I look?" Mark peaked from the bathroom "My jacket AND necklaces. Maybe we should shop for you. Pull up the skirt, I can see that you are wearing Calvin Klein."

I scoffed "I have stuff. Yours is just better and smell like you. The skirt is meant to be like this!"

I could hear his laugh from the bathroom as he dried his face.

He put the towel over his shoulder as he went into the closet. I ran behind him.

He was wearing all gray/green (Nct dream 'hot sauce' concept photos/outfit on header;border) And he made me put on jeans.

"let's go" We hopped in the car as I turned on my rnb playlist. "Alright, Can you close your eyes while we are going there?"

I nodded my head as I yawn "I'm tired anyway, Wake me up when we are there."

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I woke up. I rubbed my eyes and saw a amusement park.

"OH MY GOSH DID YOU RENT AN AMUSEMENT PARK?" I yelled in shock. He kissed me as he nodded with a laugh "HOW?! I MEAN, WHY? FOR ME!?" I yelled again as I unbuckle my seat belt

"I felt bad for yesterday so I asked sm and the guys to help to do this for you. we've been together for 4 years and I wanted to make it fun!" I grabbed him a kissed him 1,000 times as I hopped out the car.

"IT'S REAL!!"

I ran to the gate as they guards stopped me "You can't come in ma'am."

mark ran up to the gate and showed them the badge. "Sorry, my apologies. You may enter." he grabbed my hand as we went through the gate.

"Let's have some fun!"

Here I was griping the bars on a roller coaster waiting for the drop. "Please get me off of here, mark! I told you that we both couldn't do this!" I turn and see him with his head down griping the other bar.

we both screamed as the drop came and I felt the need to faint. "HELP ME!" I yelled as we went on the loop.

the ride ended shortly after and I went quiet. They unstrapped us, I held on the wall as support but failed.

I fell down and sat there. "I'm tired." I said holding my heart. I felt tears in my eye thinking about it again.

I grabbed marks hand and went to the food court. I got a hotdog and he got pizza. we shared a drink as I grabbed his hand.

"I'm never letting you take me anywhere again." We both laughed at our pain.

NARAE POV-

"Hey, I'm on my way to miyoung's house, this better work." Here I was, on a call listening to my older brother. He knew I liked her since he was only person I ever told.

He thought It was a good Idea to ask her to prom as a 'joke' and so we could as 'friends' since we had no one else, or so I thought. "Bye, I'm going in. Love you" I said as I hung up.

I knew her code so I typed it in.

I opened the door with the envelope in my hand and I wish I never did. She was making out with choi minho, the most popular guy in school.

My heart dropped as she gasped and pushed him off " I'm sorry, I should have told you sooner.." She said looking down.

I forced a low smile and shook my head "It's fine. I'll just leave.." She was about to talk but I already walked out the door.

I let out a huge sigh "why do I have to be like this.." I chuckle to myself as my eyes water, "I just want to be like everyone else."

I arrived home and I slammed my apartment door. I lived alone with my dog and cat since my parents and brother are still in my home town, japan.

I drop my bags on my couch as I walk to my room. I do my night routine and soon fall onto my bed.

I groan in pain from my back but soon I get comfy and drift off to sleep.

I wake up as I stretch and turn off my alarm. I let out a yawn and let out my anger as I remember yesterday.

"why did I not knock first." I huffed and got ready and put on my uniform.

I put food in their animal bowls and put bred in the toaster "Alright cuties, I be back around the same time, If its delayed then I'll call someone over. Ok?"

They both tilted there heads and I smiled. I walked out the door as I grabbed my toast with jam and butter and ran to my car.

I locked and hopped out the car. I saw students entering as I dashed to the door I was almost late. The hall was pretty crowded I didn't notice my Shoelace was untied. I tripped as someone caught me.

"Don't forget to tie your shoelaces,love. I wouldn't want you falling for someone else"

I looked up and mumbled under my breath 'why is he here?'. He scoffed "Why are you acting like this, hmm?" He asked lifting up my chin.

I bit my lip to hold back tears as I remember "I guess your not in a flirty mood." He said letting his hand rise to my hair.

He combed through my hair which calmed me down. "What happened now?"

He kissed the spot near my lip and smirked

I groaned and pushed him back

"Your so annoying."

He laughed

"You wanna skip class?" He asked with a slight smirk still on his face.

"Fine." I said grabbing his arm

We sneaked out of school and walked down the street.

"You wanna know why I was sad or should I say, rude?" I asked as he laughed and slowly nodded

"Well I've never told anyone this but a few years ago I found out that I was bisexual. I liked females and males, I just couldn't own up to it. Until I met miyoung, she changed my life. I loved her so much, but..."

I stopped talking as tear's flowed down my face and I felt like I was getting my heart broken again.

"She doesn't seem to look at me that why, she looks at me like a sister. I even saw her kissing Minho." I finally broke down completely.

He crushed me into his arms and let me cry my eyes out.

After a few minutes I calmed down and soon drifted to sleep in his arms. -

I woke up on his chest, I looked around and it was his room.

I yawned and saw that he was still sleeping. I looked for my phone and grabbed it from out of my bag and took a photo.

I laughed to myself and curl back into his arms.

I stare at him, peacefully sleeping. I brush my hands through his hair as I smile "You are the best person I've ever had in my life. You know how to help me even when i'm sad,depressed, or ignorant." I laugh to myself.

"I love you for that. Thank you Renjun. I don't know what I could do without you." I said as more tears went out of my eyes.

I sniffed and stepped up from the bed until a grip pulled me back down.

"I love you too, Narae." He whispered in my ear as I felt something soft on my lips. I felt like my life was complete. He was the missing puzzle that I needed.

I kissed him back and we slowly broke apart. we stared at each other for awhile until we burst out into laughter.

We went back to cuddling, "Does this mean that we are dating?" I asked as he nodded, I looked at the time and soon realized that we skipped some periods and It was almost lunch time.

"OH SHIT!" I push him off and grab my jacket from off the chair. "GET UP YOU DUMB FUCK! WE HAVE SCHOOL!" I yelled to him as I saw a panic on his face.

he darted to the bathroom and I ran to his car.

I even left my car at the school. After 5 minutes, I saw him coming into the car. He hopped in the driver's seat and let out a huge amount of air. "Alright, let's go. Buckle up." I buckled my seat belt as he started driving.

We made it back to school and ran through the back door of the building.

luckily the bell rang just on time, students started leaving the classrooms and making there way to the cafeteria. We walked down the hall.

We made it to lunch in time. I saw Miyoung with Minho and groaned. There was no way I was going to sit there as a third wheel.

It would be too awkward. So I sat down with Renjun with the other dream members. "hey" I said simply siting between Haechan and Renjun. Everyone was surprised that I wasn't with miyoung today.

"Oh, she is with her boyfriend over there. I felt like it would be awkward." I said to them, The all nodded in agreement "So, what's going on between you two?" Asked Haechan as he saw Renjun's hand on my leg. I look down "OOH, that's why your asking that.." I laughed out.

"We are dating." Renjun said shamelessly, eating his food. Everyone's jaw dropped. "HUH?" Jeno yelled, I laughed even harder. "well prom is in three days.." I said staring at everyone "So, I need to find a dress." Renjun stared at me since he forgot. He groaned.

"we can get that later." He said rubbing my leg. I nodded in agreement. "Anyway, where have you two been?" Jaemin asked.

Me and Renjun stared at each other. "That's a long story.." We said at the same time.
