Hey everyone
I have not been on this tumblr in months and I’m afraid I don’t think I’m going to be on it any longer. I’ve decided to retire my tumbr for now (maybe I’ll return to it in the future).
I have however decided to start a blog on blogspot and hope to begin writing reviews, articles and short stories on it. I would appreciate if you checked it out. I’ve currently got a few pieces on it already for you guys to check out.
I wanna say thanks to all my followers - regardless if you have been with me since the beginning or a newcomer in the later part of my tumblr blog’s life - and hope to catch you over on my blog which can be found at the following link:
http://mechaspacegodzilla.blogspot.co.uk/
Again thank you for all the fun time on this website!

I’ve noticed a fun small Jurassic Park homage in Jurassic World that as far as I’m aware hasn’t really been touched on.
The first image shows Jurassic World producer Patrick Crowley starring in the film as Masrani’s flight instructor
The second image shows Jurassic Park producer Gerald R. Molen starring in the film as park vet Gerry Harding
Both film’s producers appearing as characters in the film they’re producing - whether this was intentionally done in JW as a reference or not it’s still a nice thing to discover

One of the greatest disappointments about Jurassic Park is that there was no animated spin-off. Considering the wealth of Saturday morning cartoons in the early 90s, along with the success Spielberg’s Amblimation was enjoying, you’d think a JP cartoon would be a no-brainer, but alas it never materialised.
Well, Universal did consider a series and actually put some serious work into developing it. Artist William Stout was hired to create some concepts for the film, and a selection of them can be seen above. No surprise that the cast were scheduled to return, but it’s fun to see that one of Jurassic World’s stars - the Mosasaur - was set to make an appearance too.
Stout is selling these pieces, so head over to his website if you’re interested.
More information about the series can be seen in another post from Stout, dated 26th April 2014. Revealing that development progressed far enough for there to be a trailer, Stout writes:
“Although I own a copy, I don’t think this trailer is available anywhere.
“Upon the success of Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park movie, all kinds of ancillary projects abounded: toys, games, novelties, apparel, etc.
“Towards the end of all of this merchandising I got a call from artist Will Meugniot, asking if I’d be interested in designing a Jurassic Park animated series. This was not going to be a kiddy show (although kids of all ages, including myself, could enjoy it). They wanted the show to be a mature prime time series with top writers and state-of-the-art television animation augmented with quite a bit of CG animation. Universal Cartoon Studios wanted a “graphic novel look” to the series. I came in, showed my portfolio and was hired.
“We made a trailer to communicate the look and feel of the series, also showing how we would combine computer animation with traditional animation. All we needed was Spielberg’s approval.
“I heard through the grapevine that he never bothered to watch what we had done. By that time the word was out that he was burnt out on Jurassic Park merchandising and all of the film’s commercial exploitation. So, it never got made.”
Whether this was the sole reason is impossible to say, but hopefully we’ll see more art, and maybe even that trailer, sooner or later.

So the only difference is multiplayer and more characters - correct?
I'm debating on getting the new Godzilla game for PS3 or waiting to see if I get a PS4 and buying it then. I'm told that the Ps4 version has exclusive content which the PS3 version doesn't have. Do you know what are the differences between the two? Does the PS3 version let you play as other monsters?
The PS4 has online multiplayer, Godzilla ‘64, Mechagodzilla ‘75, Spacegodzilla, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Anguirus, Rodan, and Battra.

I've just completed watching all 9 seasons and both movies of The X Files. If there was any TV show I would whole heartedly recommend to anybody it would be this. I rarely get into a television show (I tried Agents of SHIELD for instance and only got halfway there) but this joint with Doctor Who will probably always be my favourite television show. Granted it does begin to slip towards the end (and save for a few episodes season 9 is awful) but you get extremely attached to the characters and root for them all the time (even the villains!). The banter between the two leads is always on point. Each episode is inventive and original in every respect: some are freaky, some are funny, some are scary and there sad. Until recently that would be the end of the X Files for me - save for a couple of comic books and video games I need to check out - but now with season 10 announced for next January I cannot contain my excitement. X Files is such a good show and everybody needs to experience an amazing adventure with FBI agents Mulder and Scully!

Just thought I’ld show off a few of the characters I made in Lego Jurassic World:
The first one is the mercenary Billy Yoder from Telltale Games’s Jurassic Park. I was happy to see the inclusion of Troodon with JPTG design so I decided to make them someone to take on from the same storyline!
Next up is Miles Chadwick - the sneaky Biosyn employee from the video game as well. I liked his character and decided he deserved a chance to fight Spinosaurus and Indominus Rex! (Let’s hope he doesn’t end up the same way he does in the video game!) p.s there is no faces in customisation that have glasses. Yes, I too am annoyed at it!
Lastly is a more obscure character: Doctor France’s White from the IDW “Dangerous Games” storyline. The comic book is not great but I can find enjoyment in it. For those of you who have not read the book: she’s a female version of Owen Grady - right down to the Raptors!
I’ll end up making other characters and will show them off when they’re finished!
