“Look how cute! I decorated my island for Christmas an-“
“Shut up (y/n)! God, you’re annoying.” Your boyfriend, Jae, snapped harshly. His eyes never left the tv. All you wanted was to show him your animal crossing island but he was too busy. As usual. You said nothing else, deciding to just go home instead.
The following day, you had a meeting with your father for lunch at his office. He was the owner of large business in the centre of the city. To say he was well off was an understatement. You were lucky to have him. Once he had buzzed you in, you made your way to the elevator and stepped in. Just before the doors shut, a hand came between them and stopped them. You looked up to find Seonghwa. He’d worked for your father for a few years now. His best employee. Tall with longish, black hair. He always wore a well fitted black suit and hair his hair done sleek and straight. There was no denying how attractive the man was. He came to stand next to you with a kind smile.
“Hello (y/n). How are you?” His voice was deep yet light, soothing at the same time. You always felt so comfortable around him.
“I’m okay, just meeting my father for lunch. You?”
“Ah, I just left my phone in the office. Then I’ll be off for lunch too.” You giggled at his forgetfulness, him smiling too.
“What are you gonna get?” You asked, subconsciously moving closer. Seonghwa looked down at you with a soft gaze, something now so foreign to you.
“Honestly? I’m probably going to go to the cafe round the corner. They have the best cake. And sandwiches but cake is better.” He chuckled, tucking his hands into his pockets.
“Oh I love cake.” Your stomach almost growled at the mere thought of sweet food.
“Oh yeah? I can get you a slice?” He offered, his kindness almost hurting your heart.
“Thank you, but I’m on a diet.” You told him, deflating. Seonghwa frowned, turning his body towards yours directly.
“You’re what? Seriously? Why?” Confusion was clear on his face as his eyes raked over you. You looked to the floor, playing with the hem of your jumper.
“I need to be thinner.”
“You’ll get sick. You’re so small.” Hearing him say this, you looked up in surprise.
“You think so?” Reaching over, Seonghwa fixed the parting of your hair softly. Goosebumps prickled your skin, face turning red.
“Yes. Everyone can see it. You don’t need to diet.”
You both got off on the top floor, Seonghwa quickly retrieving his phone from his desk. You knocked on your father’s door, waiting patiently. When he did open in, you were greeted with a loving hug.
“Are you ready?” You asked, pulling away. There was a sorry look on your dad’s face.
“I’m afraid something came up. I’m sorry.” It was obvious from his expression that he was apologetic. You smiled sadly, nodding in understanding.
“It’s okay. Don’t worry. I’ll see if Jae is around. You knew for a fact that Jae wouldn’t meet you. Your father made a noise of discomfort, looking around the room.
“Seonghwa are you busy?” Instantly, said man was by your side.
“Never.” Your father chuckled.
“Do you think you could escort (y/n) for lunch today?” He held out his card for him to take but Seonghwa shook his head.
“I’m more than happy to do that, I’ll pay. It’s no trouble. As long as it’s ok with you?” He looked at you, lips upturned.
“That’s okay.”
Together, Seonghwa lead you both out of the building and down the street. He opened the pale blue, rustic door to the corner cafe he had mentioned earlier. You stepped in to be greeted with the smell of coffee, cinnamon and cookie dough. Heaven. Walking to a table in the bay window, Seonghwa pulled your chair out for you to sit down.
“So, cake?” He wiggled his eyebrows making you laugh.
“I really should get a salad.” You said, his response being a bored looking face. Scoffing, you nod.
“Okay, you choose for me. I trust you.” Simpering, he reached over and pet your hair affectionately.
“I’m glad you do.” Then he went over to the counter. For a moment, you sat there with a blush on your cheeks. Your heart was hammering in your chest. You felt so strange, so light and stress free. It was unusual for you. After a few moments, he returned, placing the tray down carefully before taking his seat.
“I got you a chocolate and cherry cake. And a tea. With three sugars.” The fact he not only knew your favourite flavours, but remembered how you took your tea, warmed your heart.
“Thank you.” He just smiled, pouring your tea into the small cup for you. To add onto this, he gently peeled the plastic off your slice of cake and put it aside. Then he cleared the table of any rubbish. You looked at your food nervously. Jae’s words of needing to diet fully ingrained into your brain as you heard it most days. Seonghwa frowned seeing your expression. He knew something was wrong, just not what exactly. Picking up your fork, he took a bit of your cake and held it to your lips. Looking over to him, he smiled softly.
“Say ahh.” He chuckled, making you blush and part your lips so he could feed you. He seemed to relax when he saw you eat.
“Want to try some of mine? It’s strawberry and white chocolate.” Seonghwa got some into his fork, holding it up for you to take once again. You hummed in approval at the taste, sipping your tea to clear your pallet properly. You both fell into a comfortable conversation, eating your cakes happily.
“Are you coming to the party next week?” It was your father’s birthday and he was hosting a gathering at your house. Seonghwa nod, putting his fork down.
“Yeah, he put me in charge of the guest list. So I have to be there early.” He told you, making you happy.
“Well I’ll be there. I’m not sure if Jae is coming or not.” You thought out loud, wondering if he would actually put the effort in to be there with you.
“Is that you boyfriend?” You nod.
“Hm, your father mentions him sometimes.” You were surprised, Seonghwa scanning your face.
“Who told you, you need to diet?” Your face fell at his question. Pressing your lips together, you swallowed nervously. But you said nothing, just avoided eye contact. Reaching over, Seonghwa took hold of your hand.
“Are you ok, (y/n)? You can talk to me if you need to?” For a second, you stared across at him and basked in the feeling of comfort. It was like he could read your emotions.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” He laughed, drawing shapes onto the palm of your hand delicately.
“You’re so kind to me.” Your voice was quiet, as if you were scared to voice your thoughts. And Seonghwa noticed that.
“I’m just treating you how you deserved to be treated.” Blinking fast, you stopped yourself from tearing up and offered him a weak smile. But Seonghwa wasn’t convinced. There was a ping. You quickly checked your phone, seeing who the text was from before swiping it away.
“What happened to your phone? Is it usable ?” Seonghwa questioned after seeing the state it was in. Remembering how it was thrown from your hand and stomped on, you shivered but shrugged.
“I dropped it. Down the stairs.”
“Oh okay. You should drink up before it goes cold.”
Around six pm, you headed round to your boyfriend’s apartment after buying dinner for him. You found him in the bedroom, just as he was turning his PC off.
“I brought you food!” You smiled cheerfully, hoping to see Jae happy. Instead, you were greeted with a sour face.
“Have a nice lunch?” Your heart dropped, swallowing thickly.
“I thought I told you to diet? you need to loose all this excess fat. Yet you were in a fucking cafe?” He walked closer, brows furrowed with anger. Using his pointer finger, the scruffy man prodded his finger against the side of your head harshly.
“You’re such a stupid woman. Fucking pathetic.” He spat, gripping your face aggressively. You whimpered, tensing up out of fear.
“Who was that man you were with then huh? You cheating on me?” Quickly, you shook your head.
“No I swear he’s just-“
“Did I give you permission to speak? Vile slut!” Flecks of saliva landed on your cheeks, your eyes screwing shut as Jae shoved you to the floor.
A few days later, you were helping your father in the office. Filing reports, cleaning the space and taking notes in a few meetings. You found yourself driving in and out of focus. Maybe it was the headache, or lack of food. Or maybe you were looking for someone. Seonghwa came in, in the early afternoon. Going straight to your father’s office with his overtime work from the previous night. You bumped into him, immediately shrinking back in fear. Though, when you looked up to find Seonghwa, you smiled widely.
“Oh, mr Park! How are you?” You asked, not noticing the crease in his brow. His eyes scanned you worriedly, hand lifting and carefully landing on your shoulder.
“I’m okay. I told you to just call me Seonghwa, (y/n).” Blushing a little, you laughed nervously but relaxed under his touch.
“Oh yes. Of course. I’m sorry.” You bowed your head in respect. He just sighed, tilting your chin up delicately. As if you were a flower.
“You don’t need to apologise love. Are you feeling okay?” His question made you swallow down your nerves, lips pressing together before forming a short smile. You nod, quickly moving past and into the next room. Seonghwa watched you go, frowning deeply.
“She’s not right.” A deep voice made the young man jump, turning to find your father stood in the doorway. Quickly, he ushered him into the office and locked the door.
“Don’t you agree?” Your father questioned, hands tucking into his slacks. Unsure of what to say, Seonghwa laughed anxiously.
“I’m not sure it’s my place to comment, sir.” He said, gnawing on his lip. Tutting, your dad rested back against his desk.
“There’s no need to be coy. I see how you look at my daughter.” Hearing this made Seonghwa sigh and nod, knowing he’d been caught out.
“Yes. I agree. Something is really wrong.” He thought out loud, putting his papers down.
“It looked like there was a bruise, on her cheek.” They looked at each other with concern. Your father straightened out, clearly angry.
“I have a feeling her so called boyfriend is the reason for this shit. Did you notice anything the other day?” He pressed on, pressuring his employee slightly. But neither minded.
“Yes. She seemed scared. She said she had to diet. And when I did the most simple of kind gestures, she seemed shocked. Like she could cry.” He finished before looking to his boss.
“You think it’s her boyfriend?”
“I do. He’s no good. I’ve only met him once and I hated him then.” The man spoke through gritted teeth, fists balled up tightly.
“It was like I said last time. He’s not right for her. He was on his phone the whole meeting too. But when he did speak to her, it was hostile.” Seonghwa listened to your father intently.
“I should have realised.”
“No sir, don’t blame yourself.” Quickly, Seonghwa intervened and let out a breath.
“He’s going to my party. (Y/n) told me before. Could you, try to keep her away from him. If it’s not too much to ask?” Your father pleaded quietly, wanting you safe. Seonghwa relaxed, smiling to him with reassurance.
“I’d be happy to, sir”
Sunday rolled around and you found yourself getting ready in your bedroom. Considering who your father was, the dress code was classy. Your dress fit perfectly, hugging your waist and coming out slightly in the most amazing silhouette. Your phone pinged, it was Jae. Letting you know he had arrived. You quickly ran downstairs and opened the doors. Jae looked up from his phone and grimaced before putting it away.
“You look-“ he pulled a face. “So hideous.” Then he pushed passed you and into the house. Biting your lip harshly, you trailed behind him and into the kitchen.
“Where’s the beer?” He asked, his back to you. You didn’t respond, causing him to grunt and turn around.
“I said, where’s the fucking beer?” You flinched, pointing towards the fridge. Jae just laughed mockingly, tilting his head.
“I meant, get me the beer. Dumb bitch.” Shrinking under his gaze, you scrambled to get him his drink. All Jae did was snatch it with a roll of his eyes.
“(Y/n)?” Your father’s voice brought you relief. He walked over and quickly lead you into the lounge.
“Could you lay out the flowers? Guests will be arriving soon.” You did as he asked happily, putting the vases out. At that moment, Seonghwa arrived only to freeze upon seeing a man he didn’t recognise. An average height and build, with short brown hair and an unironed grey suit. The man looked him up and down before laughing a little. He then walked away. Seonghwa frowned, standing there with confusion.
“That was Jae.” Your father walked over, bringing him in. Sighing, he nod and already felt sorry for you.
“You should have heard the way he was talking to her. Controlling her. I should kill him.” He spat, anger building up.
“Relax. Sir. I’ll try my best to keep them separated ok?” The doorbell rang, alerting them both. Your father answered after taking a minute to collect himself. Meanwhile, Seonghwa walked through to the lounge. He found you, placing the last vase in the centre of the coffee table. You turned in his direction and Seonghwas breath hitched. He swore he’d never seen anyone so beautiful. Seeing him, you smiled brightly and walked over.
“Good evening.” Your voice was light like candy floss and he thought, in that moment, you couldn’t be real. How could someone treat you so poorly?
“Hello, (y/n). You look beautiful.” He smiled, watching as your ears tinted red.
“What? Don’t be silly.” You giggled, looking down at the ground in disbelief. Seonghwa frowned, putting his bags down and taking your hands in his. Making eye contact, you felt yourself relax completely under his calming gaze.
“I’m not. You’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever laid my eyes on. You look like a princess.” Each word made your eyes fill more, lips pressing together. Reaching up, he brushed your tears away with his thumb softly.
“Why are you crying?” He asked, letting his hand hold your cheek for the moment.
“I don’t understand. How you can think that.” You explain quietly, taking a shallow breath. Sighing, Seonghwa dipped to your level with a smile.
“I don’t ‘think’. I know.” He chuckled, reaching down and picking up one of the bags.
“And I got this pretty princess a gift.” Ignoring your blush, you took it from him confused.
“But it’s my dad’s birthday?” Looking up at him, he shrugged playfully.
“I think you need this.” Was all he said, urging you to open it. Pulling the tape off, you gasped when you saw a new phone. The exact one you’d been after. Taking it out, your mouth gaped in surprise.
“It is the colour you wanted right? Your father said but I-“ you cut him off, jumping and hugging him tightly. Seonghwa stumbled back with a laugh, holding you tightly.
“Thank you!”
“It’s nothing, honestly. Want me to help set it up?” You nod enthusiastically, sitting on the couch and pulling him next to you.
For the next hour, as guests piled in, you sat with Seonghwa and got your new phone set up. It was nice, sitting flush to his side. At some point, his arm had slipped around your waist. Neither of you chose to comment.
“Wait, you play animal crossing?” He looked happy as you downloaded your save data on pocket camp.
“Yeah, why?”
“I love that game. Do you have a switch? We should play together.” You grinned up at him, liking that idea. Turning your head, you found a pair of angry eyes boring into you. Seonghwa felt you tense up, following your gaze to find Jae.
“I should go.” You panicked, going to stand but the noirette held your waist firmly.
“No. Stay with me. I won’t let him hurt you.” Seonghwas words somehow eased you, sitting back in your seat once again. He sighed deeply, holding onto your shoulders.
“I don’t know what happens or why. But I know he’s not good for you. You need to brake up with him.” Deep down, you knew he was right. You bit your lip, staring down at your lap.
“He’ll kill me.”
“Not while I’m here he won’t. You’re safe with me.” Seonghwa reassured, voice smooth and tender. Looking into his eyes, he simpered and you knew that it had to be done.
“Why are you so nice to me? Why are you taking care of me?” Your voice shook slightly, his head tilting to the side with a grin that made him look ten time more handsome than usual.
“You know why.” Your heart rate sped up, Seonghwa leaning dangerously close. His lips brushed against your ear.
“I’m yours.” You shuddered, suppressing a smile badly. When he moved back, you didn’t protest as you were pulled into his chest comfortably.
“I’ll do it. Tonight.”Now feeling so sure, you had the confidence to finally say goodbye.
“Oh, (y/n), could you go get us that cake you made love?” Your father came over, grinning ear to ear. Giggling at his excitement, you nod and went into the kitchen. You pulled the cake out of the fridge, taking the covering off carefully. After spending the whole morning baking and decorating, you wanted it to be perfect for your dad. It was a custard and white chocolate cake. With royal icing and star decorations. You were proud of what you had achieved.
“That looks lovely. Doesn’t it?” Jae’s voice made your heart drop to your stomach. You turned to find him, blocking the doorway. There was no exit.
“I see you’ve had complany all night. You know, you said it was a man but. But what kind of man wears a pony tail?” He laughed fakely, taking a few steps forward.
“He’s more of a man than you’ll ever be.” You were angry. He could tell. Poking his cheek with his tongue, Jae nod and sighed.
“I want to break up.” You spoke quickly, swallowing down your nerves. His head snapped up at you, eyes practically blazing.
“Oh you really are stupid.” He spat, gripping your wrist and dragging you harshly. He forced you up into your room and threw you down. The door slammed behind you, his footsteps coming by your head. Jae crouched down, fisting your hair and yanking your head up.
“What the fuck, gives you the right, to break up with me?” Tears rolled down your cheeks but you stayed quiet. This only irked him more and he stood with you.
“You're nothing without me!” he yelled, shaking you so hard you felt nauseous.
“Shut up!” You tried to retaliate, covering your ears. Before you could blink, his hand landed on your cheek with a loud slap. You stilled immediately, shaking in place.
“I don’t think you understand, (y/n). I can kill you. So easily.” The tone of his voice sent chills down your spine and you realised just how unsafe you are. Quickly, you dashed for the door with a scream
“Help-“ Jae tugged you back, nails digging into your sides.
“Seonghwa!” His hand clamped over your mouth in effort of stopping you. But it didn’t. Instead, you bit down on his hand.
“Ouch. You bitch!” Jae didn’t think twice before practically hurling you into the wall. Your head hit it with a thud. At that moment, the door burst open and your father charged for Jae with no remorse. He held him tightly, only for Seonghwa to storm in and punch him straight across the face. You tried to sit up, your vision blurred and head pounding. Curling in on yourself, you flinched when Seonghwa placed his hand on your back.
“Hey, look at me.” His voice was soft, it was calm and quiet. You looked up at him slowly, Seonghwa smiling a little.
“It’s okay. He’s gone now. You’re safe.” Your eyes darted around the room, finding both Jae and your father gone. Seonghwa carefully hooked his hands under your arms and lifted you into his own. You clung on, hiding your face in the crook of his neck as he sat on your bed. His hand ran up your back, finding purchase in your hair. A whimper of pain slipped past your lips. He could feel the bump forming.
“Turn around for me sweetheart.” Blushing, you did as he said. Seonghwa sat you between his legs, tilted your head forward and moved your hair to check.
“That’s going to bruise. I’m sorry.”
“Why are you sorry?” You asked, looking back at him.
“Because I wasn’t there.” He muttered, patting your hair straight affectionately. Turning to him, you reached up and cupped his cheeks.
“But you’re here now.” You spoke quietly, his hands coming up to his face and taking hold of yours.
“And I always will be now. You’re safe with me. I promise you.” Seonghwa pressed his lips to the palm of your hand and smiled. You returned it, blushing lightly at his action.
“We need to put some cream on your face, your cheek is swelled.” Reluctantly, he left your side, going downstairs to get the first aid kit.
He took a while. Which, you thought was strange but sat there waiting nonetheless. You contemplated everything. Jae. His behaviour. The way you had lived the past year. The constant fear of doing ‘something wrong. When, in reality, you weren’t doing anything wrong. Your likes, interests and hobbies were yours. Your fashion was your choice. Your diet. Your hair. Your love. They were all yours. Seonghwa walked in, holdingte first aid kit. He took a seat on your bed in front of you and smiled.
“Sorry I took a while, your father and I got distracted.” He told you, pulling out a pot of cream. You tilted your head, blushing as Seonghwa applied it to your cheek.
“Distracted?”
“Teaching Jae a lesson.” Now understanding, you scoffed lightly and gazed up at him.
“I was thinking, maybe you want to get away for a few days? You could come stay with me? Just to clear your mind.” Smiling widely, you nod eagerly and hugged him tightly.
“You don’t mind?”
“Not at all. And guess what?” He rubbed your back as you drew away. “My place is already decorated.” You gasped, holding onto his arms.
“But it’s only November?” He chuckled at your excitement, pulling your hands into his own gently.
“Who cares? I love it.”
After getting a small bag ready, your father saw you both out and Seonghwa drove back to his place with you. Getting inside an elevator, he pressed the button for the top floor. Shivering slightly, Hwa noticed and pulled you into his side.
“I’ll put the fire on for you once we get inside ok?” He promised, smiling down at your shaking form. Though, when he opened the door, you stood there shocked. His penthouse was beautiful. Modern, sleek and monochrome with lots of grey accents. The place was open planned with a living area in the centre. A plush charcoal couch was situated in front of a fire with the to stationed above. Behind this area was the kitchen-dining then a set of dark stairs heading up. Seonghwa took your hand and lead you upstairs and into his room. Just like the downstairs, it was monochrome. He had a kingsize bed with a cream cover, a desk set up. Overall, his room was tidy and full of so many cute little details. You loved it.
“Would you like to borrow some pyjamas. They might keep you warmer.” Seonghwa was almost blushing as he went to his cabinet. Following him, you hummed.
“Yes please.” He grinned at your agreement, handing you some before leaving you to change.
After putting on the plaid pyjamas, you headed downstairs again and noticed something you hadn’t before. In the corner of the room, stood a tall, gorgeous Christmas tree. It was a fake, made obvious by its white branches, but stunning all the same. With black baubles and tinsel laid throughout, fairy lights were twinkling between the branches.
“Do you like it?” Seonghwa appeared next to you, holding a steaming mug. You nod enthusiastically and gazed up at him. He took you to the fireplace and asked you to wait a second.
“Here.” Taking the cup from him, you smiled upon seeing the hot chocolate it held. Seonghwa quickly grabbed a blanket and laid it down in front of the flames carefully. You sat down, shivering in delight at the warmth around you. Once he grabbed his own drink, Hwa took his place beside you with a shy smile.
“Is this okay? Are you comfortable?”
“Very. Thank you.” Taking a sip, you relaxed at the chocolatey flavour.
“There’s no need to thank me, angel.” Seonghwa chuckled doing the same. Quickly, you shook your head and turned towards him with purpose.
“Oh yes I do. You took time to make sure I was okay, you’ve made me a lovely drink.” Seonghwa frowned as you spoke, reaching over and wiping some chocolate off the corner of your lips.
“That’s the bare minimum, (y/n). You deserve so much more than this.” You blushed, watching as he moved forward and put your mugs aside.
“I’m sorry you ended up with him. But if you let me,” he cupped your cheeks, thumbing the skin softly.
“I can show you what it’s like to be really loved.” Eyes slightly wide, you stared up with adoration and smiled bashfully.
“Really?”
“I told you before. I’m yours. You just have to say you’ll have me.” Your eyes locked together, searching for any sign of a lie. There was none. Simpering, you laced your fingers together and gazed up at him once more.
“You can be mine.” In a heartbeat, his lips were on yours as he pulled you into a deep kiss. Instantly, you reciprocated, arms wrapping around his neck to bring him closer. Seonghwa placed his hand on your waist, drawing you onto his lap with ease. You parted slowly, getting shy and glancing away. Laughing quietly, Seonghwa brought you back round and smiled.
“Was that okay?”
“Perfect. Th-“ he gave you a stern look before you could finish, making you press your lips together.
“Stop thanking me for simple things okay?” Nodding, he pulled you close so you could rest your head in the crook of his neck. The fire crackled perfectly behind you, warmth enveloping you in that moment. Seonghwa ran his fingers through your hair, taking time to massage the bruise on your scalp.
“You’re safe with me, (y/n). You always will be.”

Tumblr media
Sun shone in through the windows, the rays somehow targeting your eyes. Waking up from your slumber, you found yourself unable to move. Looking back, you found San wrapped around you. His face was pressed to your shoulder, hair splayed out messily on the pillow. Smiling, you carefully manoeuvred so you were laying flat on your back. Making sure he was still asleep, you carefully pulled San closer, resting his head comfortably on your chest. His arm subconscious curved around your waist, his hand fisting your shirt. You quickly took a picture, finding it to be really cute. Then, you sent your parents a message, just to let them know you were okay. A small groan made you look down as San began to stir. His eyes opened slowly, immediately looking up at you and smiling.
"Morning. Did you sleep well?" Even though his words were slurred, you giggled and fluffed up his hair.
"Very well. You're warm." San chuckled deeply, chest rumbling against your side. Wetting his lips, he blinked the sleep away half heartedly. In that moment, you felt so content. You felt safe, at peace, like everything was finally in the right place. Even in his half asleep state, San was beautiful. It was almost tragic too see. Almost painful to realise just how much you liked him. In the span of a week, you'd grown attached to the red-head and were so afraid of having to let go. What if your date went badly? Or he realised you were dull? What if he finally saw how ugly you felt?
"(Y/n)? What's wrong?" San propped himself up, leaning over you. You blushed at the proximity, avoiding his gaze.
"I'm just thinking." His eyes wondered over your features. From the crease of your brown to your downturned lips. He knew something was wrong.
"You can be honest with me. I won't laugh. I'll listen." San spoke sincerely, hoping his words would properly reach you. Sighing, you gulped a little and began voicing your thoughts.
"I'm just waiting for you to realise that I'm not good enough to be here with you." Now shocked, his eyes widened slightly.
"What are you talking about?"
"Realistically, there's no reason for you to be interested in me. I'm not conventionally attractive. I'm boring. I'm fussy. I'm bossy. I'm just not good enough." Pouring your heart out to him, you started to feel really guilty for your small rant.
"Sorry. I shouldn't have said that. That's only going to make it worse." Your eyes brimmed with tears. Quickly, San sat up and pulled you with him. Bringing you into his chest, he pressed his lips to your temple.
"Dont apologise. I'm glad you could be honest with me." His fingers ran through your hair, as if to simply brush those thoughts away.
"You know none of that is true right?"
"It is."
"Why because your aunt said so?" Sans voice was sharp, almost making you flinch. Unable to speak, you nod against his chest and bit down on your lip.
"I honestly think she's just jealous. You're young, you're pretty, you've got a good life." Before you could disagree, San tilted your chin up to look at him.
"Who wants to be 'conventionally attractive'. That sounds boring. You're beautiful in my eyes." Your face went warm, the tips of your ears going red.
"You have a glowing personality. You literally drew me in. I saw you sitting alone at the airport, and I knew I wanted to get to know you. Maybe you want your own way sometimes? We all do. It just shows you're stronger than most." As San was talking, you stared up at him like an idiot. A stray tear rolled down your cheek, feeling touched by his words. He brushed it away softly, leaving his hand on your cheek tentivley.
"Maybe you don't understand? I really like you. As in I want to be your boyfriend. Eventually." San laughed as he said the last word, hoping he wasn't coming off as too eager. Finally, you smiled too, gazing at him lovingly. Maybe, for once, you could believe the nice things being said about yourself. Maybe you could even act brave.
"I want to kiss you." San was taken aback by your honesty, letting out a shy chuckle.
"I definitely don't mind that." That was the green light you needed, to lean forward to connect your lips together. Instantly, you melted into the kiss, arms wrapping around his neck. San smiled against your lips, using his free hand to hold your waist and bring you flush against him. When you pulled away to breathe, you stared at each other for a moment, unsure of what to say. Until San broke the ice.
"Do you want me to fight your aunt? I'm a black belt. I can take her out?" You both broke out into laughter, your head falling against his shoulder. Yes, you could allow yourself this one good thing.
After a little while, San brought you to the kitchen, where mingi and wooyoung were eating. Upon seeing you, the youngest whistled. San shoved him lightly, helping you onto a stool.
"Breakfast, (y/n)?" Mingi asked, smiling at you kindly. You shook your head, watching as San began to chop some fruit.
"I dont really eat breakfast." Everyone looked at you confused, wooyoung putting down his toast.
"What? Why not?"
"It makes me bloat. Then I look awful. So I wait until I'm done for the day to eat." Shaking his head, San continued to cut up his fruit before getting out a pot of yoghurt.
"You look beautiful no matter what. So you're eating, OK?" Blushing, you stared down and the counter, bobbing your head. The boys laughed quietly as San sat beside you with a bowl. Taking the spoon, he scooped up some food before holding it to your lips. You were silent, letting him feed you until you were full. He even tucked your hair away.
You left shortly after to go and change, having arranged to meet San at the beach. Upon arriving at your villa, your dad greeted you with a warm hug.
"I dont know how you can be so nice to her. She's clearly been messing around with that lad." Your aunt spat, stirring up her milky tea. Deciding to ignore her, you went to get ready quickly. From your room, you heard arguing and sighed. You hated that she caused so much trouble. Once ready, you headed back to them. Your mother smiled, pulling you near her.
"He's a good man, (y/n). Ignore my sister and just enjoy yourself ok?" As she embraced you, you felt so grateful for how supportive she was.
You stared out at the sea, watching the tide going out before swishing back in. It was serene, the wind light, ocean blue and sky clear. Hot but not so hot it would bother you. Just right. Arms suddenly appeared around your waist, lifting you off the sand then spinning around. Letting out a scream, you heard San laugh at your shock. He placed you down, turning yourself to face him.
"Hey." He grinned, hands still on your middle.
"You're late."
"Only by five minutes!" He protested, poking your cheek jokingly. How could you ever even pretend to be mad at him? Smiling, you took hold of his hands and started walking backwards.
"Can we swim? Before we get ice cream?"
“We can do anything you want.” He reassured, already starting to unbutton his shirt. Excitedly, you took your things off and put them in your bag. Whilst you were distracted, san threw you over his shoulder with ease and ran into the sea. You squeaked, laughing as he dropped the both of you into the water. He wasted no time in pouring water over your head, effectively ruining any effort you put into your hair.
“San.” You practically whined, splashing him in a weak attempt at payback. Smirking, he sat himself in the shallow and watched you for a moment. Though, it didn’t take long for you to settle beside him. Naturally, San put his arm behind you, allowing you to lean against him.
“What’s your favourite ice cream flavour then?” He asked, reaching over and taking your hand in his own.
“Hm, either strawberry or chocolate. I can’t pick.”
“Why not get both. I’ll do the same.” You smiled up at San, playing with his fingers.
“I was thinking, when we go back home. It’ll be autumn. We could go on cute little coffee dates?” His ears were red, eyes full of anxiety. Simpering, you kissed his cheek.
“I’d love that.” Relief washed over the red head before he leant down to capture your lips with his own. Kissing back, you turned towards him and wrapped your arms around his neck. His hands framed your waist, pulling you into his lap securely. Once you had pulled away, San smiled at you lovingly.
Walking alone the cobbled streets, you came across a small cafe selling ice cream. San found a table whilst you ordered your cones. Two chocolate and strawberry just as you had discussed. The man behind the counter gave you a wink and a price of paper once you paid. Quickly, you sat beside San who was glaring at the cashier deeply.
“Did he give you his number?” He asked, holding his hand out expectantly. You shrugged and handed him the paper, watching as he ripped it in half after observing the scribble.
“Stupid. I should kick his ass.” You couldn’t help but giggle at sans pouty face, giving him his ice cream.
“Relax San. I wouldn’t care for his number at all. I’m on a date with you remember.” He took a bite of his ice cream still frowning.
“But he’s a good looking guy.”
“You’re far better believe Me. You’re the most handsome man I’ve ever seen.” San perked up, sitting straight and turning to you. Even with chocolate in the corner of his lips, you decided his looks just couldn’t be beat.
“I am?” He asked, relaxing as you cupped his cheek and left a soft kiss on his lips.
“You definitely are.”
“So, did your aunt have anything to say?” Now having finished your ice cream, you were headed back to your villa.
“She thinks we slept together. I think she said something else but I ignored her.”
“Good.” San swung your hands as you walked, fingers laced together perfectly. You smiled to yourself, pulling him inside the home you were renting. Hearing you enter, your mother turned with a warming gaze.
“Ah are you joining us tonight San?” She asked, wiping her hands off from cooking. He nod, trying to act polite.
“If that’s ok?” Chuckling, she walked over and helped him out of his jacket kindly.
“Of course, I made enough to feed a thousand. I’ll text you when it’s ready.” Your mother told you at the end, letting you both go and freshen up.
When you stepped onto the patio, your family was already sat around the table. Thankfully, there was two seats by your father free. San bowed to everyone, pulling your chair out and tucking you in before sitting himself down. As your mother served the food, your aunt was staring across at the man next to you. He tried to ignore her burning gaze, making sure you had a drink in front of you. It was only after everyone had started eating that your aunt spoke up.
“So, have you two kissed yet?” San physically froze, choking his food down with difficulty. Quickly, you pat his back and tried to get him some water. The poor boy turned bright red, matching his hair completely. Your father sighed, rubbing his face.
“That’s not our business.”
“Well I’m only asking.” She whined, keeping her eyes on San, who was slowly recovering.
“Leave them alone and eat your food.” He muttered, checking to make sure San was ok. You held his hand, guilt invading your senses. He must have seen this, giving you a reassuring smile. That didn’t ease your feelings sadly and you frowned at your plate.
“You wanna go inside?” Nodding at San, you stopped him from getting up.
“You finish eating.” He just watched as you went inside before turning his focus on your aunt with determination.
Around ten minutes later, San slipped into your room and found you in bed. He smiled, placing two steaming mugs down on the side table.
“I made you tea.” You hummed gratefully, sitting up and pulling the covers back for him. He climbed in, pulling you into his chest.
“I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t apologise. You’re not responsible for her behaviour.” San said trying to reassure you. You frowned up at him, leading him to kiss your pout playfully. Thankfully, that did cause you to smile. He carefully handed you the tea, making sure not to scold you. With one arm around you, his other hand held his mug and you spoke about nonsense for a while. YouTube played in the background but neither of you payed any attention. Even after the drinks were consumed, you lay in his arms and talked about life back home and how you’d make it work. You felt so content, ear pressed to his heartbeat and arms hugging his slim waist. Your bodied just slotted together perfectly. For once, you felt as though you finally had something worthwhile. Neither of you noticed that you fell asleep in each others arms. You were both at peace.
“(Y/n). Are you t- oh…” your mother burst in, stopping and going quiet as she saw you both. A smile spread on get lips, happy to see you. She knew, in those few seconds, that you’d be just fine from now on.

C.Jongho x fem!reader
Synopsis: As ateez's 9th member, jongho makes it his job to look after you always.
Warnings: reader gets hurt, bad language, injury
Happy late birthday jongho!!!
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Currently, you were on the final day of shooting for the 'Dont Stop' music video. Everyone had filmed their chunks of the video except for you and mingi. You two had a scene of being thrown out of a car.
"Now then. This has to be done very carefully ok? Renea are you OK to step in?" The director turned to his assistant to help film the scene. She just hummed, glaring slightly. For some reason, you got the feeling she really didn't like you. But, pushing that aside, she was good at her job and helped where possible. Jongho was completely preoccupied. His arm was loosely around your waist, hand messing with your skirt. Since seeing your outfit for the shoot, he'd been glued to you. Wearing a ripped black jumper, it hung off your shoulder and was tucked into a short pleated skirt. With mismatched length socks, one to your thigh one to your knee, you also wore boots. He thought, no he knew you looked stunning. So much so he didn't realise he was subconsciously stopping anyone from going near you. The director called you and mingi over, jongho still unconsciously following.
"Now then. Don't actually push them. You're just there for them to act off of, ok? Mingi will go first." He explained to which she just nodded and cilmbed into the car with mingi. Everyone stood to the side, watching as they did a few takes. Mingi made it look really easy, falling effortlessly every time.
"I'm nervous." You whispered, turning to look at the taller male. Jongho smiled, kissing your head softly.
"We're all here, I'm right here. OK?" You nod quickly, reluctantly leaving his side once mingi was finished. Jongho watched as you climbed into the car and started talking to renea.
"They don't get on very well." Hongjoong commented, seeing your uncomfortable expression as the assistant spoke.
"No, they don't. I wonder why?" Seonghwa folded his arms, pouting in wonder. From the side, wooyoung giggled slightly.
"I think renea has a crush on jongho." The boys all looked at the second youngest. Most of them understanding. Jongho furrowed his brows.
"She does?"
"Yeah, she's got you as her wallpaper. I think she doesn't like (y/n) because you're so close." San observed, wrapping an arm around Woo.
"She can't handle that (y/n) is your favourite." Yeosang walked over, standing beside yunho. Rolling his eyes, jongho glanced over to you and hummed.
"Well she'll either have to get over it or leave. Because it's never going to change." The boys all smiled at their younger friend, admiring his deep connection to you. Of course you were their youngest, and they all looked over you. But you were Jonghos number one. When the music began, everyone looked over to the car. Hongjoong frowned, stepping forward and squinting to see better through the dimmed windshield.
"Is she - is she yelling at her?" It was only then the boys realised renea looked angry and could hear her raised voice. But by then, it was too late. They watched in shock as she very forcefully pushed you out of the car. You landed against the rubble with a harsh thud, curling in on yourself immediately. Hongjoong went full angry captain, storming over to the director.
"The fuck was that?" He spat to the equally shocked man. He stuttered incoherently, but Jongho wasn't paying attention to that. The minute your body hit the floor, he felt his heart drop and blood go cold. Without a second thought he was at your side. Hooking his hands under your arms, he pulled you up into his lap. Instinctively, you tucked your face into his neck and Jongho could tell you were crying. The car was quite a step off the ground and, judging by how hard you fell, he knew you'd be hurt.
"Hey, can you look at me sweets?" Gently, he cupped your cheek, bringing you to look at him. He felt instant anger at the sight of your tears, the cut on your cheek and just the hurt in your eyes. Bringing you back into his embrace, he held you protectively for a few minutes.
"Can you stand?" When you nod, jongho helped you to your feet before turning to Yeosang. Coming over, jongho urged you to the other man before making a beeline for renea.
"Why did you do that?" She just looked at him bored.
"Oh I didnt do anything. She's just being dramatic." She scoffed, having the nerve to even smile. Jonghos eye twitched, hands gripping at his coat as to not do something stupid. Seeing this, Hongjoong walked over with the manager.
"Are you so jealous that you had to throw her out onto a dirt road?" He almost laughed, if
it wasn't for the rage. Huffing , renea let out a laugh.
"As if I'd be jealous of that thing. Plus it was just my job. I dont know how you care so much. She's nothing special." Losing it, jongho launched for the assistant, only to be pulled back by the director and hongjoong.
"It wasn't your job to hurt the artist. Follow me." Your manager took her away swiftly, leaving the others to calm down the youngest male. Yeosang rubbed your back as mingi looked over your wounds with a scowel.
"We'll get you fixed up, ok?" He reassured but you just sniffled, looking past the tall man to Jongho. Exchanging a knowing look, Yeosang and mingi turned.
"Oi! Jongho!"
"Get over here!" Startled, jonho escaped the men holding him and came back. He carefully took you from Yeosang into his own arms. Both of you physically relaxed at the contact, his fingers running through your hair.
"Come on. We're done here." Hongjoong announced, leading everyone out.
Tumblr media
Back at the dorms, no one commented as jongho took you into his room. They understood. You sat on his bed, looking down at your lap as the male grabbed some supplies. Sitting beside you, jongho lifted your legs onto his lap and frowned. Both knees were bleeding, grazes and bruises littered along your skin. He couldn't stand to see you hurt at all.
"This might sting." You pressed your head against his shoulder as the disinfectant made contact with your broken skin. Biting your lip to suppress any noises of pain, a stray tear rolled down your cheek.
"What did she say? When she was yelling at you?" He asked, wiping over your knee with care. You sniffed, wiping your face and most likely smudging your makeup. But you didn't care.
"She just, she said I was a whore. That I'm embarrassing to see." Hearing this, jongho clenched his jaw and nod slowly.
"Why did she say that?"
"Because I'm always with you. Because I'm obsessed in her eyes..." After finishing on your knee, he turned to you with a stoned face expression.
"She's jealous. You know that right?" When you just looked confused, jongho smiled and pulled out a wipe. He took it to your face to gently remove your make up.
"She wants to be you. Wants to be in your position." His voice was kind, hand moving softly along your skin.
"She likes you." You mumbled, jealousy written all over your face.
"Yeah? Well you're the only one who can have me." Making eyecontact, you blushed heavily, letting his words sink in.
"You mean?"
"Was I not obvious enough?" He chuckled, stroking your cheek tentivley. Leaning into his touch, you smiled up at him. His eyes wondered over your face, taking in every detail. Putting a hand on his neck, you drew him forward and placed your lips against his. Although initially shocked, jongho kissed back instantly. His fingers laced through your hair, pulling you flush against him. In that second, you both forgot the situation that lead you to this point. When you parted, his thumb ran across your cheek lovingly, a redness painting your face.
"I really wouldn't mind if you were obsessed with me." He smiled almost shyly, causing you to laugh quietly. Cupping his face tenderly, you kissed across his face sweetly. From his forehead to his cheek to his chin. Letting your lips linger on his, jongho felt his face wash over with red.
"I just might be." Immediately, he simpered, kissing you once again. You smiled against his lips, arms hanging over his shoulders.
Reluctantly, jongho got up, clearing his stuff away before helping you change into some comfy clothes. You crawled under the covers of his bed and waited patiently for him to also change. It didn't take long until he was climbing in beside you. He wasted no time in pulling you into his chest, allowing you to wrap yourself around him comfortably.
"Hongjoong texted. They fired renea. Which is great. But imagine her reaction to seeing us together." He smiled proudly, fingers running up and down your arm soothingly.
"I imagine she'd do worse than push me." After saying that, jonghos grip tightened.
"I'd probably kill her." He said without emotion causing you to giggle. You loved the protective side of him. Tucking your head under his chin, you sighed in content and closed your eyes.
"I think we're getting take out later." His voice was quiet, knowing you were resting.
"Noodles. Spicy." Jongho smiled at your sleepy response, lips pressing to your temple. For now, he'd hold you whilst you slept. He'd savour the feeling of knowing you were finally his.

As fate would have it.
K.Hongjoong x fem reader
Synopsis: hongjoong can't help but love you but feel so insecure in himself.
Warnings: hj is insecure and a little angry . Swearing . He's also whipped.
Tumblr media
It was obvious to everyone who saw. Anyone with working eyes could see that hongjoong was besotted with you. The soft smile, calm features, tilted head, and rosy cheeks. There was no denying it. However, he couldn't have you, and he knew that. Every girl he'd ever met loved tall guys. Men over six feet with long legs and torsos. Sure, he wasn't an ant. But to most, he was on the shorter side. Yes, maybe you were smaller than him. But you probably didn't care. You would reject him. So, he stayed as your best friend. His heart paining with every shared hug, encounter, or conversation. The boys told him he was wrong, that you definitely felt the same way. But he just couldn't believe that. Even if they were right.
Currently, everyone was hanging out at yunhos apartment. Yeosang walked in, a pile of pizza boxes in hand.
"I hope everyone is hungry." He laughed, setting them out on the coffee table. The group practically cheered, piling in to snatch a box. You grabbed one, putting it between you and joong.
"Wanna share?" You asked, already knowing the answer as it was the norm for you both. He smiled, nodding and opening the box before taking a slice. Everyone chatted idly as they ate, comfort in the air. You rested your head on joongs shoulder, and he felt his heart hammering. God, it was embarrassing, feeling so enamoured by your mere presence. He couldn't help it, though. Across the room, wooyoung and Seonghwa seemed to be arguing with mingi. Exasperated, the eldest turned to you.
"(Y/n), don't you think mingi has a nice smile?" The question threw you off guard, but you hummed non the less.
"Yes, it's pretty. Why?"
"See!" Wooyoung yelling, shaking the pink headed boy with no remorse. It took San and jongho to pry him off. You giggled, turning to look at hongjoong but found him with a deep frown.
"What's wrong, joongie?" He shrugged, Wetting his lips. That was the evidence he needed. Of course, you thought mingi was pretty. The man was six foot seven. OK, maybe that was an exaggeration, but his point still stood. Worried, you put your hand on his arm only for him to shrug you off. Now hurt. You looked around for help. Seonghwa noticed his friends foul mood and winced internally. He didn't think hongjoong would hear or even overthink your compliment that much.
"Hongjoong?" Gazing at hwa, he pulled away from you entirely and stood up.
"Wait, where are you going?" Your voice fell on deaf ears as hongjoong gathered all his things.
"Dont ignore her. Where are you going, man?" Yunho sounded slightly annoyed by his friends behaviour. Rolling his eyes, joong looked at him with a bored expression. Clearly, there was pain behind his eyes.
"Home. Do you have a problem with that?" He spat before leaving briskly. It was silent for a moment, everyone shocked. Your shoulders drooped, playing with your fingers nervously.
"What did I do?" Hearing your sad voice, Yeosang quickly came to your side and wrapped his arm around you.
"Nothing at all. I promise."
"Yeah, I think he's just got a lot on his mind." Wooyoung was the one to cover for him. They all knew of his crush, so they all knew why he was angry. Mingi even felt slightly guilty. Though they all agreed, he needed to man up and ask you out.
About a week later, you found yourself waiting for hongjoong to arrive. The gang was going on a road trip and, at the time, he was quick to partner with you as a travel buddy. You hadn't spoken since he stormed out, and that left a weight in your chest. Was he still angry? Would he ignore you? You knew he was coming because seonghwa had texted to let you know he was on his way. But still. You were nervous. When a knock sounded from your door, you quickly heaved your bag up with difficulty and opened it. Hongjoong looked at you, trying to appear neutral, but that all faded when he saw you struggling.
"You're going to hurt yourself." He muttered, taking the bag from you carefully. You, on the other hand, were frozen. He looked so good. For a start, his hair was freshly dyed blue, straight yet fluffy on his head. His brow held a slit and he'd changed out his lip ring for a solid, black steel one. And his outfit? A baggy black Chrome Hearts hoodie was unzipped, showing of his white and tattered band t-shirt. He also donned black, ripped jeans that clung to his thighs before flaring out, along with Converse. How was he so attractive? Cheeks red, you bowed your head nervously.
"Ready to go?" He asked, placing his hand on the small of your back and leading you to his car. Nodding quickly, you hopped in the passenger side whilst he threw your bag in the back. Once he was inside, hongjoong started the car and set off.
"You can connect your phone. It's a long drive." Doing just that, you put your choice of music on and bobbed your head absentmindedly. Surprisingly, you both talked as usual. As if nothing had happened last time. You didn't mind, however, feeling relaxed by his normal demeanour.
Stopping off at a service station, you both headed inside and went off to use the bathroom. Meeting up outside a small store, you went in and picked up some food for the rest of the journey. Whilst picking your chocolate, a rather large man stormed past, knocking you harshly. Stumbling, you fell right into hongjoongs chest. Startled, you looked round confused.
"Oi!" Hongjoong yelled, alerting the man. He turned back with a gruff expression, scaring you slightly. Naturally, you clung onto joong tightly, grounding yourself.
"Watch where the fuck you're going!" You'd never seen him this aggressive before. You'd be lying if you said it wasn't attractive. The man, shocked at being called out, bowed and quickly scuttled away. Hongjoong shook his head in annoyance before looking down at you.
"You okay angel?" Blushing, you nod and smiled reassuringly. He grinned, petting your head affectionately. After paying and stepping outside, you both noticed the ways the sky had darkened and the weather had turned.
Back in the car, you snacked on some chocolate, staring out the window. Rain fell from the sky, pattering on the windscreen rhythmically. It was only light but hongjoong could tell it was only going to get worse.
"Do you Want one joongie?" You asked, shaking the bag lightly. Once he nod, he opened his mouth ready. You giggled, feeding him a few of your chocolates. Suddenly, there was a flash of lightning in the distance, followed by thunder a way off.
"I guess there's a storm ahead. Make sure your window is rolled up OK?" Hongjoong said, making you check immediately. At that time, you were driving down a narrow road, surrounded by a vast nothingness. There was no other cars around either. Settling back in your seat, you noticed the rain come down harder by the second. The windshield wipers were working overtime, hardly making the view any better. Becoming anxious, you stared out whilst gnawing on your lip. It didn't look at though it would let up anything soon. Sensing your worry, hongjoong reached over and laced your fingers together.
"Its okay, don't worry so much. I'm here." His words comforted you, holding onto his hand with a slight grip. As you continued along, you found yourself toying with his fingers absentmindedly. He didn't mind, liking that he could keep you calm. Suddenly, the car seemed to dip before bouncing back dramatically. You both yelped, the car coming to a screeching halt. When hongjoong tried the key, the engine made a noise of protest and you felt your stomach drop.
"Fuck..." Hongjoong cursed, teeth tugging on his lip ring. Pulling his hood over his head, he got out and checked all around the vehicle. Upon inspection, he saw his tires ruined and the engine not looking its Sunday best. Practically throwing himself back inside, hongjoong put his soaked hoodie aside before pulling out his phone.
"Theres no signal. The storm must be knocking it out." He looked at you apologetically, dropping his phone aside.
"We'll have to wait it out. I'm sorry."
"Dont be sorry. Its not your fault." You reassured, smiling kindly. Hongjoong seemed to relax a little at that.
"I'll message seonghwa tomorrow. Hopefully he'll come tow us." You hummed in understanding, looking outside with a mellow expression. Without the car on, the heating was obviously not in use.
"Its freezing." Seeing as joong had to forgo his jacket, the man was now shaking.
"I packed a blanket?" You remembered, climbing into the back. He quickly followed, helping you get it out. You gave it to him and sat aside, leaving him confused.
"Come here. We can share." Hongjoong pulled you into his chest and pulled the blanket over the both of you. Relaxing, you snuggled against his chest, basking in the new warmth.
As you lay there, you thought back to the week previous. Hongjoong seemed so angry with you, the way he pushed you away still hurt. Obviously, within those few minutes you had said something to upset him, but what?
"Joong?" He looked down at you, smiling softly. His hand came up and brushed your hair back.
"Did I upset you last week? I'm sorry if I did. I promise I didn't mean to. You just seemed so angry." As you spoke, hongjoong felt his heart drop. He never meant for you to feel this way.
"No love. You didn't upset me." He sighed, avoiding your gaze. You didn't give up, keeping your focus on him.
"Its hard to say. I could lose you." When he said this, you frowned and took hold of his hand.
"You'll never lose me. I swear. Was it something I said?" Hongjoong bobbed his head, fingers interlocking. Wracking your brain over the moments before his outburst, your head tilted. In that moment, he thought you looked so cute.
"Was it, about mingi?" Again, he nod, looking out the rain spotted window.
"Your crush on him."
"I do not have a crush on mingi." You laughed, confused beyond belief.
"You said you did."
"No. I said he had a nice smile."
"Same thing." He countered, avoiding your gaze at all cost. Frowning, you sat up and stared at him.
"Why does it even matter?" You asked, head tilting slightly.
"It doesn't. It's stupid."
"Clearly it does. You're still upset now."
"Am not."
"Are definitely. Just tell me!"
"Because I know I can't have you!" Hongjoong snapped, making intense eyecontact. You froze slightly, letting his words sink in.
"I get it. Mingi is tall. He's handsome. He's cute. He's nothing like me. He's not short and weird and full of tattoos or peircings." He rambled on, one hand gripping the blanket with an intense anger. A deep frustration he'd buried within himself all these years, was finally making itself known to you.
"You deserve the world. You deserve so much. And I can't be that for you." As he poured his heart out, your eyes brimmed with tears. All this time you'd been pining after him, the feeling had been mutual. How had you not noticed? Hitting his chest lightly, hongjoong looked at you shocked.
"You're so stupid!" His eyes widened, not expecting you to say that.
"Why are you talking so badly about yourself? Are you blind?"
"Maybe?" He whispered, not understanding what you were saying.
"I love who you are. I love your look. I love your personality. You're perfect."
"But...I'm short." For a moment, you looked at him dumbly. Your brows creased in question.
"No you're not. You're perfect. Perfect for me. You're everything I need." His gaze softened, slowly reaching and pulling you back into his arms.
"Really?" You hummed, placing your hands on his chest comfortably. Finally, hongjoong smiled.
"Does that mean I can kiss you now?" You didn't answer him, taking it upon yourself to place your lips to his. Sighing in content, the male held you closer, deepening the kiss. Your hands cupped his cheeks as you pulled back and inhaled deeply.
"I've been waiting years to kiss you." He chuckled, hands rubbing your waist affectionately.
"Next time, just tell me. Dont storm out." Huffing slightly, Hongjoong poked your side jokingly.
"Lets forget about that OK? And no more calling mingi pretty." He spoke pointedly, causing you to giggle. Smirking, he sat up, holding your hips to keep you firmly on his lap. Hongjoong was still surprised, he couldn't believe you returned those strong feeling he'd been withholding.
"You're beautiful." Your face grew red with his sudden compliment. Shyly, you looked down, toying with the fabric of his shirt. He just chuckled, tilting your chin up slightly before pulling you back in for another kiss. You melted against him, arms coming to wrap around his neck. His tongue swept across your bottom lip, escalating the kiss to a lazy make out. Hands slipping beneath your jumper and finding your skin, he felt you shiver under his touch. You parted reluctantly, your thumb stroking just under the bar on his lip.
"We have a lot of time to make up for. Don't we angel?" Hongjoong spoke so softly, as if his voice could shatter you. You smiled, holding his face tentivley.
"I can't disagree with you on that."

C.San x Fem!Reader
Wc:5.3k
Warnings: readers aunt is a complete Karen. Body shaming. Shaming in general. Self conscious reader. San is whipped. Sea sickness (no physical sickness)
Synopsis: a few days in on your vacation, and you reunite with San, who once again comes to your rescue.
Part 1 Part 3
Tumblr media
It had been a few days and you hadn't had the chance to meet San again. Honestly, you were bored. You could only sit around a pool doing nothing for so long. Sitting in a restaurant on the seafront, your family was making conversation but you just stayed quiet, looking out at the sea.
"(Y/n)? You could try smiling." Your mother laughed a little, sipping her wine. All you did was shrug. Across the table, your aunty clicked her tongue.
"She's ungrateful. Never happy with anything." That statement began a short argument amongst your family until your father decided to cut in.
"Well, why don't you decide what we do tomorrow?" He suggested, making you perk up slightly. Whilst they were still talking, you began to think about it. What to do?
"I still don't understand why you're wearing that." Hearing your aunt talk, you stared across at her and sighed.
"Its comfy. And warm. It gets cold at night." You reasoned for still wearing Sans hoodie. It really was windy in the evenings and plus, you enjoyed wearing it. You liked how it drowned you.
"I think she's making it up. I highly doubt someone gave it to her." Again, your aunty chimed in, much to your displeasure. Staring down at your hands, you chose to zone out for now. It wasn't worth listening to. All she ever did was make passive aggressive comments. A hand landed on your shoulder, causing you to flinch and look up. When you did, you were met with Sans kind eyes gazing down at you.
"Hey." He spoke softly, smiling as your face lit up.
"Hi." You responded forgetting everyone's former comments. When your mother cleared her throat, you jumped and looked at your family.
"Oh. This is San, the guy I met at the airport." You explained, happy that they could see he was actually real. Your dad smiled, shaking his hand and saying hello. San made sure to keep one hand on your shoulder.
"Oh, so you travelled with my daughter?" Your mother asked him, eyeing him up and down. He never faltered under her intense gaze.
"Yeah, we were both travelling alone so I thought it would be better."
"And you don't mind that she stole your jacket." Your aunty butt in and you cursed at her silently for embarrassing you. San chuckled, swiftly changing his view to you before looking back at her.
"I gave it to her. I hoped she'd be wearing it." He told her calmy, almost as if he could guess there was tension between the two of you. Your aunt huffed, rolling her eyes slightly. Tilting his head down at you, San spoke again.
"I was wondering if you wanted to come meet my friends? Once you're finished here." You nod immediately, wanting to get away from a certain family member.
"Great, I'll text you our location." He gave your shoulder a slight squeeze before heading off.
"Well now I understand." Your mother smirked lightly, giving you a look you couldn't quite pinpoint.
"He's quite handsome." She continued, making you blush in embarrassment.
"She's got no chance." Everyone looked to your aunt, your father looking angry.
"I know." Frowning, you agreed before turning your head away.
"Why would you say that?" Whilst your father took it upon himself to defend you, your mother reached over and got your attention.
"Go, catch up to him. Just let us know you're safe OK?" She smiled warmly. Relieved, you thanked her and hastily made your get away.
It didn't take long for you to find San walking along the street. Running up to him, you gently touched his arm in order to alert him. Surprised, San looked down at you and instantly began smiling.
"Well, that didn't take long huh?" He chuckled, but it faded as he saw your sour expression.
"What's wrong?" San stopped walking, turning towards you fully. Avoiding eyecontact, you looked down. Wearing a loose black button down with blue ripped jeans, you thought he looked good. But then you remembered your aunts words and frowned again.
"Nothing."
"No, what happened?" Sighing, you felt yourself relax as the man placed his hands on your arms.
"Just, my Auntie said something. It's not important." Not convinced, San reached down and took hold of your hands.
"Well, let's see if we can cheer you up OK? My friends are in a bar just up ahead." Even through he dropped the left, he kept hold of your right hand and began walking with you to the bar. You moved close to his side, allowing yourself to feel better by him. San pulled you into a bar and headed up some stairs until you got onto the roof. There, it was mostly empty, apart from a couple tables. Next to the balustrade, was a low white table with two black leather couches on either side. On the left sat a tall man with a blondish buzz cut and on the right a shorter man with longer black hair. The latter perked up at the sight of San before looking shocked. He leant over and slapped the others shoulder.
"Ow, what you do that for?" The taller whined before looking over. His eyes widened a little. San stood in front of them both, turning his attention to the noirette.
"Move over there." Quickly, he scampered over next to the other man. Sitting down, San pulled you down next to him.
"(Y/n), these are my friends. The short one is wooyoung and that's mingi." He informed you, making wooyoung huff in annoyance.
"Not short."
"Yes, you are." Mingi laughed, finishing his drink. Wooyoung then countered back, starting an argument.
"Ignore them, what do you want to drink?" San leant close to you, your shoulders pressing together. Ignoring your racing heart, you looking at the menu with him before pointing at a strawberry drink. He left briskly, before you could give him any money. After turning your head, you found both men opposite staring at you.
"Oh, hi." You smiled nervously, not confident in yourself. Narrowing his eyes, wooyoung scooted forward until his knees hit the table.
"You're a witch." Your eyes darted side to side, not quite knowing what to say to that.
"Way to go woo." Mingi rubbed his face.
"Why?" You almost laughed, crossing your legs and trying to get comfortable.
"Since arriving San has been really happy." Still muddled, you shrugged.
"OK? That's good, right?" Mingi nod at you, twisting him empty glass.
"Yes. Of course. But strange. San is a really moody guy." Now you were just surprised. You would never have guessed that, San seemed lighthearted.
"But, since he got here, he's been all smiles."
"And never off his phone." Wooyoung finished for his friend. You gave the men a confused look and they shared a look between them.
"Because he's been texting you." Now understanding, you blushed a little and shook your head.
"I doubt I'm the reason for his mood." You chuckled, only to be met by their bored faces.
"You definitely are. When he told us you met at the airport, we didn't think much of it. Then we noticed he didn't bring his favourite hoodie." Quickly, you shrugged it off and folded it neatly. Mingi laughed again, watching you place it next to you.
"He gave it to you huh?"
"I was cold. I tried to give it back." You reasoned, trying to relax your flushed face. Wooyoung waved in dismissal.
"No its cute. Of course he'd give a pretty girl his jacket. Very chivalrous of him. I think he's fully whipped for you." Feeling butterflies in your stomach, you swallowed nervous before shaking your head.
"No I'm not-" You paused, not wanting to be so self deprecating in front of these people.
"He's not. Don't be silly. I was just alone and nervous. And San was just being nice. He probably feels obliged to see me. Probably just to get his jacket back." In your mind, that was a perfectly reasonable explanation. Scoffing, mingi folded his arms.
"Seriously? Trust us, San isn't the type to do something he doesn't want to." For a second, you just blinked at them.
"That doesn't mean anything." With your mind fully refusing to think anything of it, Wooyoung piped up again.
"He thinks you're cute, (y/n). And you make him happy." Heat rose on your cheeks.
"No he doesn't. Plus, I've only known him a few days." Trying to laugh it off, you prayed San would come back with your drinks soon.
"Exactly. And in those few days we've sat and watched the boy grinning at his phone like an idiot." Mingi sounded so sure of it, it almost convincing you. But still, your head protested.
"He doesn't think I'm pretty." Quirking an eyebrow, Wooyoung placed down his now also empty glass.
"Have you ever looked in the mirror?" Whilst he was clearly joking, you tilting your head.
"I try to avoid them." They both looked at you with a hint of sadness, but you chose to ignore that. The hair on your arms had risen with the cool wind blowing, but you didn't dare think of putting the hoodie back on. Luckily, San came back and sat beside you, putting two drinks down.
"Hey, what about us?" Wooyoung pouted, upset his drink had ran out.
"Get your own." San laughed in return, making the boys groan and make their way down to the bar.
"So, what were you talking about?" Blushing, you looked up at him a gave a tight lipped smile.
"Oh nothing. Just, nothing." He looked skeptical but dropped the subject. A wind rippled through the air, making you shiver and close in on yourself. Noticing, San scowled and twisted to face you.
"Why did you take my jacket off?" Without looking at him, you swirled your drink around lightly.
"Well it's yours. Not mine. I thought you'd want it back. I felt bad wearing it." You told him honestly, putting your glass down carefully. Shaking his head slightly, San took the hoodie and wrapped it around your form, sliding it over your arms. Deja Vu hit you from the airport.
"I dont want it back yet. I gave it to you to wear, remember? Plus, you look really cute." You almost choked, eyes going wide and cheeks tinting red. San smirked, slipping his arm around your waist and tugging you into his side.
"Warmer now?" You hummed, leaning against the male shyly. Distant gouces grew louder as mingi and wooyoung took their seats again. Wooyoung looked down, smiling to himself as he'd noticed your position.
"So, (y/n), anything interesting planned on your holiday?" Mingi asked, smiling warmly at you.
"Well actually, I have to choose something for my family to do tomorrow." Interested, San thumbed at your waist lightly whilst speaking.
"Anything in mind?" Trying to ignore his touches, you cleared your throat.
"Actually, I was thinking maybe a boat trip."
"Yes!" Wooyoung yelled unexpectedly, making everyone jump. You looked around confused. Chuckling, mingi decided to answer you.
"He's been desperate to go on a boat. Wooyoung she's going with her family. Not us." Now pouty again, wooyoung sat back disappointed. Thinking it over, you smiled a little.
"Well, you three can come along? My family won't mind." That was only half a lie, as you knew your aunt would make some comments.
"Seriously?" You reassured San that it was no problem.
"I'll book it on my way back to the villa. Then you three can meet us at the docks tomorrow." Forming the plan, everyone agreed. You even dropped your parents a text to double check. They were more than happy to have them accompany you. Wooyoung was practically bouncing in his seat, chatting about how he really wanted to swim in the caves. Perking up, you started talking about that with him, getting into a deep conversation. A sharp laugh brought you both out of your discussion, turning to mingi.
"What's so funny?" Woo asked, once again finishing his drink.
"Nothing just Sans so w-"
"Anyway. Should we go book that trip?" Before anyone could protest, San stood up, took your hand and pulled you out of the bar. This left the others scurrying after you. Linking your fingers comfortably, San let you guide then over to a small stand by the beach. He watched as you booked in for the next day, paying the lady.
"Let me walk you back?" San asked politely, complicated ignoring his friends. Shyly, you nod and grinned. He simply waved off his friends before heading off to where you were staying.
On the short walk back, he swung your hands playfully and spoke about a few of his interests. You learned he liked to game and when you brought up animal crossing, he mentioned a friend who too loved that game. Sadly, your conversation was cut short as you came to the door of your villa.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" He smiled, hand reluctant leaving your own.
"Yeah, I'll text you in the morning." Pursing his lips slightly, the red-head gazed downward.
"I'll probably text you in a few minutes." You giggled at his honestly and nod approvingly.
"That's better." For a second you both stared at each other, your heart hammering behind your ribs. Sans ears slowly turned red as he took a step back.
"Goodnight then."
"Night..." Smiling shyly, you waved him off before quickly stepping inside.
After getting up and taking far too long to get ready, you made your way to the living area. You had decided to wear a simple triangle, black bikini that had thin straps and two ties around your waist. On top of that you had a dark vest and some loose demin shorts. Everyone was waiting for you, your mother smiling upon seeing you. Going to her side, you helped pack a small bag for the day then set off to the Dock. Realising you hadn't heard from San, you pulled your phone out.
You: you better be awake ☹️
San: of course I am. Wooyoung Is still half asleep though 😭 we're almost there don't worry.
You: oh you might get there before us then actually.
San: don't keep me waiting 😊
You smiled down at your phone, trying not to show how his simple text affected you.
"I'm guessing that's San?" Your dad asked, walking beside you. Blushing, you shrugged and put your phone away.
"Young love." He joked, patting your head. Your aunt scoffed, making her voice known.
"They're not in love. She's never going to see him after this holiday." Your heart sunk at what she said, the reality that she may be correct sinking in. Hearing your mother say something, you blocked it out and continued walking.
"(Y/n)! Finally! San was starting to annoy us." Wooyoung ran over, grabbing your hand and tugging on it eagerly. You giggled, allowing yourself to be dragged.
"I was not being annoying."
"You were literally moping." Mingi chuckled, turning to greet your family with Wooyoung. Rolling his eyes, San stood next to you.
"The boat is here." He told everyone, pointing behind himself. Politely, he bowed towards your parents, making sure help the onto the boat. Taking your hands, he too helped you on and sat beside you. The driver began to explain how you'd go turtle watching, swimming in the caves and enjoy a lovely ride. Wooyoung smiled widely, shaking San with excitement as the driver started the engine and began the journey. At first, everyone was talking and getting to know each other. It was all going so well. Until it wasn't and you caught your aunt giving San a funny look.
"Why have you done that?" She pointed at her hair almost aggressively. Giving her a smile, San shrugged.
"I liked the colour." She just huffed, shaking her head.
"I'll never understand it." Seeing your expression, your mother was quick to redirect your aunts attention whilst you turned to the man next to you.
"I'm sorry, please ignore everything she says." San smiled reassuringly and placed his hand on yours. You felt those butterflies return and prayed you weren't blushing.
"Dont apologise. I'm not affected." Subtly, he moved closer, turning his head as if he were looking out at the sea. When, in reality he was whispering into your ear.
"Is that why you looked upset earlier? Did she say something?" Surprised he had noticed, you pressed your lips together.
"I'll tell you after." You mumbled, not wanting to be overheard.
"Excuse me, everyone." The captain got your attention, standing at the head of the boat.
"Turtles tend to poke their heads out here, look out and you might see one."
After wooyoung had gotten to see a turtle, the boat headed towards some caves. The boys all stood up, stripping down to their trunks.
"Are you coming swimming with us?" Mingi asked grinning, your eyes wondering over to them. However your focus was mainly on San. You knew he was fit, that much was obvious. But wow, you're sure you were heavily blushing by that point. Biting your lip, you looked down nervously. Whilst you really wanted to, you couldn't help but feeling insecure. San pulled you up, smiling kindly.
"Its okay." It was as if he could read your mind. Nodding, you slowly pulled your clothes off and went to the edge of the boat with the boys. The driver stopped the boat, letting down a ladder. Wooyoung ignored this however and threw himself into the water. You couldn't help but laugh, watching him cough as he came to the surface. Mingi jumped in too, much more graceful than his younger friend. Once climbing in, San stayed by the bottom of the ladder and helped you down safely. Wooyoung practically raced off into the cave, mingi hot on his trail.
"Hold on." San guided you onto his back then Swam off after the others. You held on tightly, chin resting on his shoulder comfortably. Miraculously, he kept your head above water as he swam into the cave. Wooyoung climbed up onto a rock, looking around in amazement.
"Its so cool." He gaped, beaming as his eyes wondered over the different colours and lights, reflected on the oceans surface. You had to agree, your arms still wrapped around San tightly. Reaching a slightly shallow part, San stood. Gently, he set you down and brought you to his side before pointing up. You tilted your head, finding there to be a gap in the top of the cave. Just big enough so you could see the sky.
"Imagine seeing that at night? All the stars, maybe even the moon?" You thought out loud, not realising the male has left his arm around your waist loosely.
"That sounds romantic." You made eye contact as he spoke, a small smile gracing Sans lips. Everything seemed to fizzle out for a few moments as you focused on each other. Swallowing down your nerves, you turned slightly in his direction and his hand tightened on your waist.
"Hey San!" Mingi yelled, disturbing your moments.
"Look at this shell we found!" Chuckling, San slowly let go and swam over to his friends. This gave you time to try and relax your accelerating heart. Your hand was patting at your chest in effort of easing your emotions.
"(Y/n)? Come here." Wooyoung quickly swam to you and took hold of your hand. Smiling, you allowed him to leaf you over to the others.
"Aren't they pretty?" Mingi smiled, looking through all the shells he'd collected. Agreeing, you let him show you his favourites. Suddenly, San came to your side, pulled wooyoungs hand away and nudging him slightly. Not having realised he was still holding it, San shook his head before standing close and playing his hands on your waist. Almost, protectively? You tried not to over think it too much. Wooyoung put his hands up in defence against his supposed best friends glare then hopped up to sit on the rock with mingi. You didn't complain, finding comfort in his hold.
Once back on board, San was quick to wrap a towel around you and sit by your side. The sun had began to set, creating a lovely array of cascading purple and orange hues in the sky. Faintly, you heard your family talking about that nights plans but chose not to comment. The captain informed everyone of the fact he was making the journey back. Which was good because, now that everyone was settled, less excited, you had noticed how rocky the boat had gotten. Now that it was setting into evening, the wind picked up slightly. Even if it wad miniscule, your acid induced stomach wasn't a fan.
"What's up with your face?" Your aunt asked with a bored tone, causing everyone to look at you.
"Just a little nauseous." You told her, only for the woman to roll her eyes.
"You were fine a minute ago. Honestly, I don't know where you get your dramatics from." She sneered, folding her arms. A lump firmed in your throat, the bottom of you eyes stinging. If it wasn't for the crowd, you would have been crying. Letting out an annoyed breath, you're sure you heard your father having a go but didn't care to look.
"Hey." Gently, San cupped your cheek and smiled softly.
"Do you trust me?" Nodding slightly, you sucked in as San carefully hooked his hands under your arms and lifted you. Skillfully, he turned you around, so you were facing the sea and slowly sat you back on the padded seat. Making sure you had one leg on either side of the metal pole that heald the railing, San sat himself behind you so your body was flush to the barrier. Your legs hung over the edge, his frame encasing your own. Bringing his arms to wrap around your waist, San held you securely. Each time the boat ducked, the water tickled your legs making you smile.
"I won't let you fall through OK?" Humming, you looked up at him, thankful for the distraction. He rested his chin on your shoulder, also happy with the closeness he had created.
"Dont listen to her ok? You're feelings are valid." Even though he was whispering, you heard San clearly and pressed your lips together. It was hard to believe it.
"What did she say to you, this morning?" Looking down at the short waves, you frowned deeply.
"Its embarrassing."
"That's for me to decide OK?" He chuckled, poking your waist playfully which did create a small smile.
"She just said I'd never see you again after the vacation. That's all." Your voice was low, cheeks warm as you told him. It was quiet for a moment, you half expected San to start laughing. So, when his grip tightened and his nose pressed to your shoulder affectionately, you were surprised.
"You think we won't see each other again?" He questioned, voice muffled by your skin. Blushing, you swallowed hard before shrugging.
"I don't know."
"Dont you want to see me? Because I want to see you, as much as possible." You could feel his grin against your back. San sat straight again, looking down at you smugly.
"You do?"
"Of course I do." He nod, lacing your fingers together.
"I was also wondering if you wanted to go get ice cream tomorrow? Just us?" Now you felt really hot, and not just because of the motion sickness.
"I'd love that." His smile grew, ears turning red. Simpering, you fully relaxed against his chest, dazed from both the movement of the boat and your happiness.
"I hope you enjoyed!" The captain waved you off as your little group left. Now it really was dark out, a few stars flecked across the navy sky.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then?" San smiled down at you, a hand resting on your shoulder.
"Well actually, I was wondering if you three wanted to get dinner with us tonight?" Your mum looked between the young men hopefully. Wooyoung practically gasped, hugging her suddenly.
"Oh you're so kind. Maybe I'll date (y/n) instead." He laughed, making San turn away in embarrassment. Luckily, your parents found it funny. You blushed, hearing him say that. After all, you weren't dating. Sure, he had asked you on a date. But even so, it was one ice cream date.

Your family returned to the villa, quickly showering and getting ready to go out to eat. Putting on a short, white sundress, you looked in the mirror and frowned. The waist was panelled, the bust ruched ans the skirt flowly. It was such a pretty dress, yet you felt so insecure. Deciding to push all that aside, you tied your converse then went to see if everyone was ready.
Arriving before the boys, everyone took their seats. You chose to sit at the end of the table, leaving a seat empty beside you. Getting the message, your parents left ut free and took a seat elsewhere. On the other hand, your aunty came and sat there.
"I think she wanted San to sit there." Your father said pointedly. Shrugging, your aunt didn't move.
"Well there's lots of other seats." She quipped, unfolding her napkin and putting it on her lap.
"Can you not just sit on another seat?" You asked hopefully, yet she just turned to you and whined. Just like a child would.
"No. He can sit over there." Deflating, you folded your arms on the table and rested your head on them. As much as you loved her, your aunty drained you so much. It was like she went out of her way to make you miserable.
"I dont know why you're being like this." She tut, looking at the menu but you ignored her.
"Its not like this means anything." Having enough, you looked at her almost angry.
"Maybe he likes me?" At that, she laughed abd looked at your parents with a funny look in her eyes.
"Oooh, yeah I'm sure he really likes you." Her voice clearly mocked your feelings. Why did she have to be like this? Could she not be supportive?
Hearing chairs move, you looked up to see they had finally arrived. San sat opposite you, looking concerned. Had he heard? Of course, wooyoung sat by your mother happily. Mingi sadly ended up on the other side of your aunt and you prayed she made no comments. You opted to stay quiet as everyone talked, only telling the waiter your order then returning to silence. At this point, your head was hurting. If you were to think too much, you'd problem cry. But that would just be embarrassing. You barely even touched your food when it arrived, just pushing it around your plate. After a few glances, you saw your dad and San deep in conversation. It warmed your heart to see them getting on.
"Why aren't you eating (Y/N)? Scared of gaining weight?" Laughing again, your aunty shoved you. Maybe it was playful to her but it hurt a little. Biting on your bottom lip, you inhaled through your nose deeply. Unexpectedly, San stood and walked around, taking your hand and walking out of the restaurant. Even though you were shocked, you followed San blindly. Once you were a few streets away, he stopped and brought you into his arms. Instantly, you relaxed and hugged back, your face in the crook of his neck.
"We can't just leave..." You mumbled, not wanting to leave his hold.
"Its OK. None of us wanted you sitting there upset." He pat your head softly, urging you to look at him. Even now, your eyes were slightly teary. Seeing this, san frowned and wiped under your eyes tentivley.
"I was thinking we could head back to where I'm staying?" You just nod, deciding to ignore every doubt in your mind and hugging his waist. He didn't mind, holding you close and walking back to the villa.

Upon arriving, he guided you into his room and shut the door.
" I like your dress by the way. You look really pretty." San smiled, looking you over with a soft gaze. Blushing, you suddenly found the floor very interesting. He just chucked, coming to stand in front of you.
"How come you're not wearing my hoodie tonight?"
"I forgot, I was distracted." His hand came up, playing the the ends of your hair affectionately.
"Then I'll just have to give you something else." Now confused, you looked up and watched as he opened a drawer and pulled something out.
"Wear this, you'll be more comfortable." San handed you the garment before heading out the room, with some other clothes, to give you privacy. It was a white band t-shirt, clearly way too big for you. You put it on regardless and smiled once looking in the mirror. It reached your mid thighs, one side hanging off your shoulders.
"You look so cute." Sans voice startled you as he came in, a box in his hands. He too had changed, into a vest with loose black joggers. Settling on the bed, he pat the space beside him. Slowly, you crawled next to him and sat on the free side nervously.
"Am I making you uncomfortably?" Quickly, you shook your head.
"No, no. I just don't want to get in your way or anything." You explained. San scoffed lightly, reaching over and tugging you into his side.
"You're not going to OK? Don't you understand?"
"Understand what?" Confused, you tilted your head up at him. He carressed the side of your face almost lovingly, smiling till his eyes were almost shut.
"I like you. I really like you. That's why I asked you out. I want you close to me." Each word just made you blush more. Your eyes scanned his face and something told you he was being truthful.
"I feel the same." Finally saying it out loud, you felt the weight lift off your shoulders. Somehow, Sans smile brightened, practically lighting up the room.
"Then I better make sure the date is perfect tomorrow huh?" He chuckled, playing with your fingers delicately. You scooted closer and brushed back some of his Ruby hair.
"I just want to spend time with you. There's no pressure ok?" Grinning, he nod and brought you between his legs so you were resting on his back. San then pulled the covers over the both of you.
"Oh I brought chocolates. You barely ate." You smiled, opening the box and reading the contents. Behind you, San put something on the tv before throwing the remote aside.
"I need to text me parents."
"No need, it was your dad's idea. He wanted me to get you out of there." He informed you, rubbing your shoulders. Turning slightly, you curled up against him and hummed in content.
"I'm happy you get along."
"Yes, but only your parents. Your aunt? Not so much." San huffed, feeding you one of the chocolates.
"She's always been like that." You told him but he shook his head. Picking out a specific chocolate, he popped it in his mouth.
"I dont care. Next time I'm not going to be so polite. If she's going to act like that, I'll give her the same energy back." You blushed from his protective nature, reaching up to thumb his cheek soothingly. He looked down at you and broke into a smile. His right arm was holding you snug, the left feeding the both of you. Whilst watching the TV, you felt yourself eyes growing heavy. Instead of fighting it, you buried your face into his chest and wrapped an arm around his waist. San found himself blushing, carefully moving to lay flat and male sure the covers were over you. By that point, you were fast asleep, finding it easier to rest in his arms.

Synopsis: after being left traveling alone, everything takes a turn when you meet a kind stranger.
part 2 part 3
Tumblr media
You hated it. You hated the whole situation you found yourself in. Due to a clash in schedules, instead of travelling with your family this year, you had to go a week later. Alone. Even if you weren't a child, you'd never got a plane alone before. So here you were, sat by the gate waiting anxiously for boarding information. You just wanted to get on the plane. The quicker you got on, the quicker it would be over. Everyone around you seemed so happy, excited for their upcoming holiday. Or maybe they were returning home after a long trip. Why wasn't the screen changing? It was past your schedule time. You dreaded to think of who you'd end up next to on the plane. Luckily, you had an Isle seat. Either way, you just felt so alone. A sharp ring from the intercoms caught everyone's attention, alerting passengers to look for boarding information. You looked, your heart sunk.
𝘍𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 22:55
That was six hours away. Biting your lip, you watched as the other passengers left the gate in annoyance. Either going to the airport Hotel or one of the many places to eat. You couldn't bring yourself to move. Six hours longer, stuck there, alone. Picking at the fibers of your denim shorts, you wracked your brain for something to do. Just sit there? Waiting. No, because the gate would most likely change. Go get food? No, you felt so anxious it was making you nauseous.
"Excuse me?" A male voice broke you from your thoughts. Looking up, you found a young man standing in front of you. Wearing a large, very large but very warm looking, grey hoodie with the hood up. Red hair poked out the front, falling over his forehead and some over his eyes. Accompanied with oversized lightwash jeans and black converse, you were jealous of how comfortable the man looked. His face held a kind smile, but his eyes showed he was nervous.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I was just wondering, are you travelling alone?" Seeing the look of confusion on your face, he carried on talking quickly.
"I'm just asking because I am too. And I was wondering, if you wanted to come get some food with me? You know, so we're both not alone." Understanding now, why he had approached you, you contemplated it. The man didn't look like a murderer. He seemed to be friendly.
"Feel free to say no. You just look a little on edge." Hearing this, you smiled bashfully at the stranger.
"Just a bit. Sorry." Shaking his head, the man looked as though he understood.
"Dont apologise, I get it. So, what do you say? Crappy Airport food?" Giggling at his words, you found yourself nodding and standing up.
"Sounds better than sitting on my own. I'm (y/n) by the way." Clearly relieved you had agreed, he beamed at you as you took hold of your travel bag.
"San. Nice to meet you." 'San' took a few steps backwards, just to make sure you were following, then turned on his heal to carry on.
"Theres a few cafés? In the mood for something sweet?" He asked, gazing over at you.
"Always." You replied, maybe a little to quickly. But San just chuckled, leading you both into the, surprisingly empty, cafe. Finding two worn down armchairs, you two placed your things down then looked over to the board.
"What are you thinking? I kind of want cake." Liking what he was saying, you hummed.
"Cake sounds good. What type?" Before you could give your input of cake flavour, you found yourselves speaking at the same time.
"Chocolate." Surprised, you looked at each other before laughing.
"Good taste. You stay here. I'll go get it, what drink did you want?"
"Just, hot tea. Thanks." Bobbing his head at you, San went over to the counter whilst you sat yourself on one of the chairs. Now fully distracted from your flight and situation, you grabbed your purse and waited for him to return. You felt lucky, that you were no longer on your own. Even if it was spurradic, you were grateful.
"Here we go. I got you sugars for the tea." San placed the tray down, moving its contents onto the table then put it aside.
"Thank you. How much do I owe you?"
"Nothing. Consider it a gift." Confused, you tilted your head, watching as he sipped his matcha latte.
"For what?" Gazing up at you, San put the plastic cup down.
"Our first date." He winked, heat rushing to your cheeks. Smirking, the red-head let out a laugh at your clearly flustered face. You busied yourself with putting your purse away.
"So, why are you travelling alone?" Surprised at his question, you stirred the sugar into your tea.
"Oh, well I had a final exam last week. So I couldn't fly with my parents. You?" San, who was focused on eating the frosting of his cake, locked eyes with you. Of course you had noticed how attractive this man was. His eyes were so pretty, smile seemingly drawing you in. Plus, his smile lines almost made you blush. It was slightly embarrassing. But San was clearly just not wanting to wait six hours alone. It wasn't as if there was anything else to it.
"I'm flying out to meet my friends. I couldn't get the week off work to go with them." You hummed again, taking a bite of your cake. Finding it to be better than expected, your eyes widened a little.
"Its good isn't it?" San had pretty much devoured his by now, showing he thought the same.
For the next few hours, you two sat in the cafe, discussing various topics. Like what he did for work, a dance instructor at his friends studio. You thought that was amazing. He too asked about your studies, allowing you to tell him all about it. San listened intently, giving you his full attention. You found it sweet that he was so intrigued. Eventually, your conversation drifted back to the holiday you were both about to embark on.
"So we've rented a villa for the next few weeks. Wooyoung, my friend, wants to spend it partying but he can't keep up with that." San laughed, crossing his leg so his ankle rested on his knee. Ignoring the fact you found that move particularly attractive, you giggled along with him.
"You not the party sort?"
"No. I don't handle alcohol well. You?"
"Me neither." You told him, liking that you had so many things in common.
"I'm just on a family holiday. We go every few years. We also have a villa." Noticing the lack of motivation in your voice, San sat forward.
"Are you not happy to be going?"
"I am. Just, my family can be a bit much." Deciding not to push it any further, he thought for a second.
" Hey, maybe we'll be staying near each other. Do you have the address?" Nodding, you pulled it up and handed your phone over to him. San brought his own phone out, clearly searching Google maps. His eyes lit up, getting up and sitting on the arm of your chair.
"Look! They're like a street apart." You smiled, seeing that he was correct. Feeling how close he was, you blushed slightly and gazed up at him.
"Maybe we'll see each other." Scoffing, San pulled his phone back and switched onto another app.
"Maybe? We can hang out. It'll be fun. Here, put your number and socials on my phone." Shocked, you didn't protest and did just that, handing it back when you were done.
"Hey where are you sat on the plane? I'm on row five." You deflated, San noticing and frowning.
"Sat far away huh?" You nod at him.
"I'm quite close to the back." You told him, leaning back against the chair. The male pondered for a few seconds before smiling again.
"Its OK. I'll come visit you." You couldn't help but laugh, getting shy again. Praying he hadn't noticed, you didn't see how he was looking at you. But that was fine, for now.
Spending time with San, time flew by and before you knew it, you were getting ready to board the plane.
"I'll see you on the other side." San joked. Scoffing, you hugged yourself tightly. It was now obviously much later and the temperature had dropped sufficiently.
"You're cold?" Looking up to the man, you just just gave a small shrug.
"I'll be fine." He rolled his eyes almost playfully and dropped his backpack. Your eyes widened as he unzipped his hoodie and walked to stand in front of you. You couldn't think straight, allowing him to slip the garment onto you with ease. San even zipped it up, straightening the shoulders out which were far to big for you. More to the point, your eyes were shamefully glued to his physique. How on earth was he built like that? Even if he was wearing a black tshirt, it was tight to his frame and you could tell from his arms how built he was. Sans hands stayed on your shoulders, admiring how small you looked for a second. That's when you snapped out of it, face crimson.
"No no, you need this. It's yours." He brushed you off, pulling the hood over your head.
"I'll get it off you once we land. We can share an uber." Chewing on your lip to stop yourself from smiling like an idiot, you nodded quickly and waved goodbye as Sans boarding group was called.
When you got you your seat, you found the rest of your row already occupied. By the window, an old lady who was reading. She looked angry, a permanent scowel etched into her features. In the middle, a man around the same age. Upon looking closer, you saw wedding rings. OK. An old married couple. Not bad. Or so you thought. Taking your seat, you accidentally dropped your bag, hitting the man. Gasping, you turned to him immediately.
"I'm so so sorry." Instead of yelling, the man gave you a smile that made your stomach turn.
"Its no trouble sweet cheeks." Deciding to excuse his language as "old fashioned" you just turned forward and took a deep breath. It would all be over soon. That's what you kept thinking. You gripped onto the arms of your seat as you took off, relived once the plane was safely in the air. Deciding to play some games on your phone, you very quickly became aware of the fact you were being watched. You could feel eyes boring into your side. Slowly, you looked at the man beside you. He just smirked, showing off his dentures.
"How old are you sugar?" Disgusted by the name, you moved yourself back slightly.
"Uh, twenty one." He grinned, hand making its way towards you slowly.
"Perfect. You're very cute." His hand landed on your thigh, making you flinch away. Now extremely uncomfortable, you looked to his wife only to see that she was drinking from a flask. Great.
"Could you move your hand please?" You tried, giving a weak smile in attempt to sway him. Instead, his bucked and wrinkly fingers began gliding along your skin. Suddenly, your vision was blocked as a hand grasped at the man's wrist.
"She said move your hand." San spat, shoving his hand back harshly. The man sputtered out a dumb excuse about being old but San just rolled his eyes, ignoring him. Grabbing your bag, he gently took hold of your hand and lead you down the aisle. Eventually he stopped at an empty row and let you sit by the window.
"Are you OK?" San asked, facing you with a worried expression. You nod slowly, rubbing your face with your hands, which were covered with the sleeves of his hoodie. San grabbed his backpack, pulling out an ipad and some ear buds. He pulled his tray table down, balancing the device skillfully.
"Wanna watch a movie? I have some downloaded." You agreed, letting him put a bud in your left ear. You watched as he pulled up the list and you picked a Disney film for comfort. San smiled down at you, taking note that you still looked stressed. Tentivley, he lifted the arm rest between you both and raised his arm. You didn't protest as he pulled you into his chest, your head resting there comfortably.
"You can sleep if you like? I won't move." He promised, a hand coming up to brush through your hair softly. Feeling safe, you finally smiled and fully relaxed into his hold. It didn't take long for you to fall asleep after that.
You awoke a few hours later, the cabin lights were dim as most of the passengers were sleeping. Looking to your right, you found San also asleep. He neck was bent awkwardly, head resting on the seat uncomfortably. Frowning, you gently moved his head to rest on your shoulder. Instinctively, the man repositioned himself so his face was in the crook of you neck. His body moving lower in his seat, arm hanging over your middle. You blushed, but smiled knowing he could rest better now. After checking the time, you saw you only had an hour left. For a while, you played on your phone, enjoying the warmth provided by the man next to you. So concentrated on your mobile game, you didn't notice when San woke up. It was only after your level finished that you noticed his eyes on you. He smiled, still half asleep before yawning into his hand.
"Are we nearly there?" His voice was deep, fatigue laced in his words. You nod, helping him to sit up straight.
"We should be landing in about thirty minutes." He hummed, pulling you back into hid arms. You knew you were blushing but chose to just bask in his comfort.
"I wanna keep watching you play." Even though you were surprised by his request, you smiled and began playing your game again. He watched, evem helping you through some levels. You only stopped when the pilot spoke over the intercom. San held you flush against him securely as the plane began it's descent. You tensed up, your stomach doing flips each time the plane lost pressure. As if sensing this, Sans grip tightened, his other arm coming to wrap around you as well. He didn't let go until the plane landed and the wheels came to a halt.
"You okay?" He asked, pulling away and cupping your cheeks. Simpering, you nod and sat back.
"My legs are so numb." You laughed, stretching out best you could in the restricted space.
"Need me to carry you?" San asked with a hint of amusement. You scoffed, standing with him and getting your bag.
"You couldn't do that." All he did was raise his brows, looking at you with a bored expression. Smiling, you looked down and allowed him to take your hand and pull you off the aircraft. It was early morning, around seven a.m. The sun was just rising, you saw through the windows. It didn't take long to pass security. San even collected your suitcase off the conveyer belt after you pointed it out. You stepped outside into the morning air and inhaled deeply, letting San book your uber. (He refused to let you pay). Realising you'd have to part from your new friend, you frowned.
"What's wrong?" He stepped closer, putting his hand on your shoulder. Shaking your head, you looked up at him.
"Nothing. I just. Thank you you for being with me today. It means a lot." Giving you a soft smile, San pet your hair affectionately.
"Its no problem. I really enjoyed your company." He told you honestly, his words lifting your spirit slightly. Sadly, the uber pulled up and you both got in, falling into a comfortable conversion.
Sensing that your stop was coming up, you turned to san with a mellow expression.
"I guess I might see you around." You almost pouted, but held back from appearing too disappointed.
"Might? (Y/n) I'm going to text you as soon as I get in. Then we can arrange to hang out."
"Really?" You practically lit up, grinning at him. San chuckled, Bobbing his head in confirmation. When the uber stopped, you weren't so upset about getting out. Leaning down, you gazed at San from the door.
"I'll talk soon then?" Smirking at you, he nod and responded.
"Definitely. I'll text you in...ten minutes?" Both laughed, him waving as you shut the door and he got driven away. Of course, you went to greet your family, giving everyone a hug. It was only when your mother pulled away that she noticed.
"What are you wearing?"
Dumping your suitcase, you lay on your bed and pulled out your phone to see a DM.
San: I'm going to murder wooyoung. This place is a mess.
Giggling, you liked the message before responding.
You: it can't be that bad??
San: you haven't met the boy. Mingi is also dead to the world so I'm going to have to clean up.😤
You smiled to yourself, giving a laughing face in reply before remembering.
You: by the way, I forgot to give you your hoodie back. I'm sorry.
San: keep it for now. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other very soon
You hoped he was right. Never in your life had you felt so comforted and safe by a stranger. Buy you weren't going to question it, just accept it. You had a month to meet up again. For now, you just had to wait and see.

Pumpkin spice and everything nice.
P.Seonghwa x fem reader
Warnings: over working, self doubt, over thinking
Fluffy. Established relationship
Synopsis: Your boyfriend comes to help in your hour of need, even if you didn't realise.
Tumblr media
Your fingers worked tirelessly at the keyboard, manicured nails making a perfect thunk with every tap. A continuous moving other illuminated your face as work upon word was typed out. You knew, realistically, that when you took on this course, it wouldn't be easy. But nothing good was easy in life. So, here you were, nearly twenty oast twelve in the morning. The sky was combolt, smudges if clouds just meeting the human eye. Not that you were looking, you couldn't tear you gaze from your assignment. You didn't even hear the loud keys jangling, or the apartment door open. Not even did you notice the footsteps drawing in.
"(Y/N)?" The sudden voice causing you to squeak, jumping in your seat and turning to find seonghwa. His brows were furrowed in concern, eyes raking over your appearance.
"Im sorry love, i didnt mean to scare you." He smiled apologetically, making his way to your side. Leaning down, he placed a kiss to your temple making you simper in return.
"Its alright." Your voice was horse. When was the last time you spoke? You couldn't even remember. Definitely not that day, at least.
"I thought something had happened. You haven't answered me for three days." Upon hearing this, your heart sunk. Here you were, so focused on work that you'd forgotten everything else. Including your own boyfriend.
"I'm sorry. I have an assignment due." His face softened, a hand caressing your hair affectionately. Seonghwa looked at the screen, reading your work and Humming.
"You're so skilled, my love. You deserve a break though. When did you last eat? Or drink?" You paused, contemplating his question. Finding you're unable to answer, the male stood and pulled you with him.
"Come on. We're going out." He draped a large hoodie, his hoodie, around your shoulders. Whilst he helped you to put it on, you stared up in confusion.
"Going where? It's midnight." Even so, you threw on your shoes and followed him to the door.
"Theres a little coffee shop up the street, it's twenty four hours." His hand intertwined with yours, towing you along and down the stairs od your accommodation. As soon as the doors opened, the cold hit like a ton of bricks. Seonghwa chuckled, tugging you into his side and starting the small commute.
"Why are you doing this?" You asked, resting your head against the front of his coat. All Seonghwa did was grin, keeping you close as possible.
"That's such a silly question. Because I care about you. I can't let my girlfriend suffer." You stopped walking, making the older stop too. He tilted his head in question.
"I wasn't suffering." The man sighed again, standing directly in front of you now.
"You're exhausted. I can tell. Don't deny it." Shaking your head, he just carried on.
"When did you last eat? Can you even answer that?" You stayed silent, giving him your answer. Tears lined your vision, everything finally settling on your shoulders. It was only now you could feel the sting in your eyes, the ache in your hands and back. Plus, you felt dizzy. Seonghwa brought you into his chest, arms encasing you as blocking out the cold.
"Let me take care of you, OK?" Nodding into his embrace, he moved you back just enough to press his lips against yours. As you relaxed against him, seonghwa couldn't help but smile into the kiss.
"Lets get you a hot drink, hm?" You bobbed your head, smiling along with him and letting him finally get you to the cafe. A bell jingled as you stepped inside, the smell of coffee inviting you into the warmth. You both walked across the maroon floor boards towards the counter, scanning the menu with interest. A young lady patiently awaited your order, not used to seeing students out so late.
"Could I get a maple hot chocolate, please? And a ginger cookie." She wrote that down before turning to seonghwa. His lips pursed as his spoke.
"A pumpkin spice latte with a chocolate muffin. Thanks." He thrust his card against the reader before you could move then proceeded to laugh at your expression.
"Let me treat you, love." Hand grasping your own, he tugged you over to a love seat and sat down. Falling next to him, you waited until his jacket was off before shuffling closer and hugging his waist. You two were the only customers, save for the lone gentleman in the window, reading a book. Seonghwa, entranced by your natural cuteness, wrapped his arm around you and ran his fingers through your hair.
"Tomorrow, I'm staying with you. Just to make sure you're not neglecting yourself anymore." His tone was serious, clearly still worried. Leaning into his hand, you felt content for once. All the worries of university seemed to disintegrate.
"I'd like that. You won't leave?"
"Not even for a second." He breathed, leaning down and kissing you. It was fleeting, but loving all the same. Settling against his chest, you basked in his comfort, waiting for your order. It didn't take long for the lady to bring everything over, setting it down in front of you briskly. Seonghwa wasted no time in handing you your drink, watching you blow on the steam with fondness. He held his mug, picking the chocolate off the top if his muffin. You found all his habits so endearing, making your love for the man grow tenfold. Everything he did for you only caused your heart to beat faster and emotions go haywire. But, you wouldn't have it any other way.
"How's your hot chocolate?" He asked, turning to face you. Enthusiastically, you began to not in expression of your happiness.
"Its great. Thank you." Just as you went to pick up your cookie, seonghwa laughed and gently cupped your cheek. Letting him turn your head, his thumb brushed under your lip and your cheeks turned crimson.
"Whipped cream." Shyly, you bit into your cookie, letting your boyfriend smirk to himself. He loved to see you flustered and counted each time as a small victory for himself. Though, you'd let it slide for now, as you were happy. Happy he was by your side. Resting your head on his shoulder, you let your eyes closed and inhaled deeply.
"I wish we could do this every night." You mumbled, trying not to think of your studies. Frowning, seonghwa held you flush to his side.
"Just think, after uni, we can do this whenever you like."  Relaxing, you gazed up at the male hopefully.
"Really?" Scoffing slightly in amusement, hwa placed a small kiss to the tip of your nose.
"Really. We have the rest of our lives. My love."

Isolation
Genre: fluff, lockdown, cute
Warning: injuries? Not detailed.
A/n: I'm currently writing a yoongi ff that's gonna be a little longer. These shorter one shots were written in 2021 during lockdown. They were written with other idols in mind also.
Tumblr media
Day thirty - six in isolation, I sighed as I made my way out into my balcony. It was currently six pm. Cold out but still beautiful as the sun set over the mountains. Cup of hot tea cupped between my two hands, I took a sip whole staring out at the view. A flock of blackbirds flew over making me smile as they cried out their call. No people were around, obviously all stuck at home, apart from the few people delivering people's weekly food shop. My eyes shut as I took in the air which recently seemed much fresher, easier to breath in. That was due to lack of pollution, the one good thing to come out of all this mess. Hearing the flick of a lighter disturb my peace , I opened my eyes and looked to my left seeing a boy around my age, maybe slightly older, burning a photograph. I didn't know my neighbours as I had just moved to this apartment before lockdown begun, but right now I wish I did. He looked depressed, like something had hit him really hard. Watching the picture burn, he waited till the flames nearly touched his fingers before letting it fall.
"Are you Okay?" My voice was quiet but the boy heard and turned to look at me. Immediately he rubbed his face and cleared his throat.
"Yeah I'm fine." His voice shook indicating the lie he was telling me. Pressing my lips together, I glanced around thinking for a few seconds before looking back at him. It was a stupid idea and also illegal but the good person in me didn't care.
"Do you want to come over?"
"I'm not allowed.. " Sighing at his response I shrugged,
"Well yeah technically but, if we've both been isolating whats the Harm? It looks like you need someone right now." He blinked fast and nod before heading inside and locking the balcony door. Quickly, I went to my front door and opened it seeing him already there with his hand up ready to knock. Stepping aside, I let him in and took him to where my couch was. He sat down and stared at his lap, clearly anxious.
"What's your name? I'm (y/n)." I asked as I too sat beside him, keeping a little distance so I didn't scare him off.
"Jungkook..thanks for inviting me over..I was going crazy alone." He admitted, looking at me grateful, I just smiled.
"Didn't you think to message or Skype with your friends?" His face dropped, eyes watering. Bringing his hands up to rub his eyes, he mumbled.
"I dont have any, not anymore..." figuring this topic was the reason for his sadness, I scooted closer and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Do you wanna rant about it? That will help lift the weight off I promise." Feeling him physically relax against my touch, he nod and took a deep breath in and began.
"I grew up with this guy..and he was the best friend ever. I really loved him like a brother but..just before all this he stole some money from me then pinned all my friends against him saying I'd beat him up.. " tears ran down his cheeks while he took a second to gather himself before continuing, I held his hand which he gripped tight.
"I didn't hurt him..but he..he did hurt me. When I caught him stealing I confronted him so he beat me..still have the cuts..cos he came back last week to try and "sort it out"..he just ended up getting mad." Jungkook put his head down, that's when I saw some of the bruises on his skin.
"I'm really sorry, you don't deserve that." I wrapped my arms around him, gently hugging him. He hugged back, burying his face into my neck for comfort as my hand rubbed his back soothingly. Feeling him wince a few times, I pulled back and looked at him.
"Want me to treat your wounds?"
"Do you know how?" He asked nervously, looking away I replied.
"I've had to treat a few of my own so, yeah." So I got up and lead kook into my bathroom helping him to sit on the edge of the tub. Whilst my back was turned, he slipped his shirt off and placed it next to him. Looking back at him, I could feel my face heating up. He was full of tattoos, once concealed by his shirt. Not expecting that, I ignored it and applied cream to the dark bruises that were dotted around his chest, arms and back. There was a deep cut on his shoulder so I aided it with ointment and placed a large plaster over it.
"You need to change it once a day. Otherwise it will get infected." He pouted and put his shirt back on carefully as I tidied everything away.
"Can you do it for me?"
"You'd have to come round every day." Immediately he smiled and nod standing up.
"Okay I will. It will be fun. Plus we'll both enjoy the company." He beamed making me smile.
A few weeks later, I was laying in bed around two pm just scrolling through my phone. Hearing my door open, I didn't even bother to look knowing who it was.
"Why are you still in bed?" Kooks voice didn't even make me flinch as he came over and laid beside me. Just shrugging, I hid under the covers only to feel arms wrapping around me. Instantly I relaxed and leant into his warmth.
"Come on you need to get up, keep your body clock going in the right way. Let's bake cookies." Smiling at his words, I nod and got myself up. We made our way to my kitchen and began to mix the dough. Once I had put the mixture in the oven, I turned seeing jungkook eating what dough was left in the bowl making me pull a face in disgust.
"You'll get food poisoning."
"Dont care." Together we laughed. I washed everything up, he dried then put the dishes away, helping me to get everything done right. Within twenty minutes, the cookies were done and kook got them out of the oven, placing the tray on the stove. Sitting myself on the counter, he took a hot cookie and fed me one whilst standing infront of me, between my legs. Nodding my head I looked up at him approvingly.
"Its really good...what's Up?" Noticing him staring at my lips, I asked him this. Instead of responding, he leant down and kissed the corner of my mouth then licked his lips.
"You had some chocolate there.." after staring at him in shock for a few seconds, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him down and kissing him properly. Eagerly, he kissed back, hands on my waist and inching slightly closer. Pulling away slowly, I smiled shyly and buried my face into his chest, making him chuckle. Jungkook ran his hand over my hair gently.
"I'm glad you let me in.." he spoke quietly , looking down then kissing my head. I looked up at him, a giant smile on my lips.
"So am I. I'm glad I could help to heal you." Nodding at me, he pecked my lips again before sealing me in a tight hug. Maybe lockdown isn't so bad after all.

To save you
Genre:angst, comfort, work space abuse
Warning: abuse, self doubt, injury, blood
Synopsis: a girl at work really hates how close you are to jungkook.
Tumblr media
My back pressed up against the mirror of the dance practice room. The boys had finished up around half an hour ago, but I stayed back with staff to help clear up. Minji, one of their coaches, had been eyeing me up the entire day. Truth is, I was really close to jungkook. I had been since I moved here. Tonight, I was going to stay over at his and look after bam whilst he went out with jin and tae. Minji had overheard this, and I instantly knew she was mad. It was no secret she liked jungkook, even he knew. She would cling on at any chance she got and made sure to linger on him a bit too long at practice. As soon as we were alone, she backed me up against the mirror and landed a harsh slap to my cheek.
"Have you not learnt to just back off yet?" Her voice was like nails on a chalk bored, a shiver rippled up my spine. I just bit my lip harshly, trying to ignore the pain. I should be used to it by now. Not liking my silence, minji gripped my shoulders and shook me harshly.
"Answer me you bitch!" Flinching away, I took a breath and looked at her anxiously.
"He just wants me to-" before I could finish, she threw me down to the floor with a loud thud. My elbow hit the ground first and an electric jolt of pain ripped up my arm. I couldn't help but whimper, clutching onto it carefully.
"He doesn't want you! You're just a convenience for him. If he wasn't so shy he'd be relying on me. Not you." Again, I said nothing, just sitting myself up slowly. She crouched down to my level, taking a fistful of my hair in her hand. Forcing me to look at her, she smiled fakly.
"Dont get it twisted, (y/n). Jungkook wouldn't really have someone as low and pathetic as you in his life, you're just so easy to use." With that, she shoved me away and left. It took a few minutes for the tears to stop but, I just got myself up and headed down to the back entrance. I found jimin and jungkook stood there, minji was, of course, hugging onto the tallers arm. My chest went tight, she was so pretty, she looked so right with him. What was I?
"(Y/n)? Are you ready to go?" Shaking my head, I looked up to find kook stood in front of me now. Giving him a small, I nod and allowed him to take hold of my hand. Ignoring minjis goodbye, he pulled me out into the underground car park and over to his bike. Wait, bike?
"Oh no. I'm not getting on that." He just chuckled, putting the helmet on my head and buckled it up.
"Dont be silly. It'll be fun." Hopping on the vehicle, he put his own helmet on before grabbing my arm. Hissing in pain, jungkook looked concerned but I just laughed and got on behind him.
"Hold on right to me okay?" Not passing up the opportunity, I wrapped my arms around his middle, ignoring the burning pain. With my good arm, I clung on for dear life as he rode us back to his place briskly.
"I told you it would be fun." I just huffed, following the noirette inside. Bam immediately ran over, circling us both excitedly. Jungkook chuckled, stroking the dogs head affectionately. Bam, being the pooch he is, decided he'd had enough of his dad and wanted me now. I smiled, kneeling down and petting him. Kook slipped away to get ready whilst I fed his dog in the kitchen.
"How do I look?" Hearing jungkook behind me, I turned around from my food making. My breath cought in my throat, cheeks slowly gaining colour. He was wearing some tight black jeans, a polo neck that was a dark grey colour and a leather jacket was in his arms. Of course, this was accompanied by his prada boots and all those piercings.
"You look amazing, as always." Playing down my actual feelings, I smiled at the tatted male kindly. Tilting his head, he grinned and came to stand next to me.
"What you making?"
"Japchae. I'll make extra so you can eat when you come in." Hearing this, he looked very happy. His hand rested on the back of my neck, his fingers moved across my skin softly.
"You're the best. I won't be too late. And you can call me if there's any issues." Letting out a laugh, I gazed up at him fondly.
"There won't be any issues silly. Now, go have fun. You deserve it." He hummed, looking down at me. Our eyes connected and it felt as though time stood still. For a minute, we stared at each other. The air between us grew thick, my eyes automatically falling to his lips. A shrill bark made us both jump apart.
"Ah my boy!" Jungkook gave bam lots of love before leaving for his night out.
Dropping onto kooks plush sofa, bam jumped up and lay with his head on my chest. I slowly rolled up the sleeve of my hoodie and winced at the sight of my elbow. It was purple, swollen to twice its size. That definitely wasn't good but I ignored it and put the sleeve down. This wasn't the first injury and it definitely wouldn't be the last. Not as long as I was in kooks life. Bam whimpered, nudging my chin with his nose. Smiling sadly, I stroked his ears softly.
"Its okay. You miss your dad huh? Me too...he'll be home soon." Tears filled my eyes, a lump forming in my throat. The pup nuzzled closer to me, as if he could sense my emotions. Sniffling, I wrapped my arms around him and curled up. There was nothing I could do. I couldn't tell jungkook because I didn't deserve his help. I ended up falling asleep, eyes damp from unshead tears.
A weight landed on my chest, waking me up from my slumber. It was too heavy to be bam. Looking down, I saw jungkook had decided to use me as a human pillow.
"Kook?"
"Mm. Shh, I wanna sleep." Blushing at his sleepy voice, I ran my fingers through his fluffy hair.
"You should go to bed then." Shaking his head, he wrapped his strong arms around my waist.
"No, it's better here." His voice trailed off, clearly dozing off. I smiled, letting my arms hang over his large frame and drifted back off too. In that moment, it was easy to forget everything else but him.
Monday rolled around and I was sat in the practice room watching hobi go over some of his solos. I clapped, doing whatever he asked me. Perks of being an assistant. Seeing he was out of breath, I headed to the water fountain to fill up his bottle.
"Bah!" Screaming, I jumped back and somehow managed to save hobis water. Jungkook stood there, a cheeky grin on his face. Glaring, I put the cap back on the bottle.
"That was mean." Laughing, he wrapped an arm around my shoulders. Bumping into my side, I winced at the pressure against my elbow. He saw this and frowned.
"You okay?' Nodding at him, I explained I had to get back to hobi and left quickly. He couldn't find out.
"You should head home now (y/n). Its quite late." Hobi smiled at me kindly, handing me my hoodie.
"Thank you. I'll get going now. See you tomorrow!" Heading out, I went down to reception and signed myself out. Just as I was leaving, jungkook came over.
"Hey, you get to leave earlier that us tonight huh?" Though he was acting annoyed, I knew it was only playful and laughed.
"Yep. Did you need something?"
"No actually, I'm just about to head off to. I just, oh." He paused, sighing to himself. He muttered something about being stupid.
"What have you lost?" Scoffing at how well I knew him, kook smiled sheepishly.
"My jacket. Think it's in the gym." Rolling my eyes, I shook my head.
"Stay here. I'll go get it." To my surprise, he pulled me into a hug and kisses my cheek. Instantly, I blushed, trying to hug back casually.
"You're the best." Laughing it off, I quickly head down into the basement level and to the gym. Spotting the denim jacked slung over one of the weights, I jumped out of my skin upon hearing the door slam. Turning round, minji stood there, eyes glazed over with anger.
"You're so stupid (y/n)" She made her way over to me menacingly. I clutched the jacket to my chest, like some sort of safety blanket. Seeing the coat, she ripped it from my hands and thew it aside. Before I could say anything, her fist connected with the edge of my cheek at full force. I stumbled back, gasping as it knocked the wind out of me.
"He hates you! Do you understand me?" Minji screamed, I just nod out of fear. Chuckling bitterly, she pinned me down and slapped me on my other cheek. It was dizzying and I struggled to focus on anything. I could feel her nails on my skin and my hurt elbow pressing against the tiled floor awkwardly. Leaning down, the blonde whispered into my ear.
"If I were you, (y/n). I'd really watch my back. Because if I see you near my man again, I'll do much worse than this." Raising from the ground, minji kicked my side a few extra times for good measure. I don't know when she left but I lay on the ground crying stupidly for a while. Having little strength, I forced myself up and looked down. My arms were covered in thick, bloody scratches. My face felt as though it were on fire and my ribs, the pain was unimaginable. Tears bubbled down my cheek as I managed to get to my knees.
"Hey, (y/n). Are you in here? You've been ages-" we both froze as jungkook entered the room. He stared at me, lips parted and brows furrowed. As he slowly registered all the wounds, kook took a step forward and I flinched back.
"(Y/n). What happened? Who did this?" He asked, trying to get closer but I just grabbed his jacket and stood up with great difficulty.
"Talk to me! What happened?"
"Nothing jungkook! Stop asking!" I shoved the jacket in his arms and left immediately. Now he'd seen that, I had to stay away. As soon as I got home, I emailed management and let them know I'd be taking a few days off.
The next morning, jungkook sat in the break room deep in thought.
"You okay?" Jin asked, taking a seat beside him with a steaming coffee. Shaking head head, the younger turned to him.
"Someone hurt (y/n). Badly." Now concerned, jin put his drink down. He crossed his arms and sat forward.
"What?"
"I dont know. Last night I found her covered in bruises and cuts. She was a mess. I tried to help but she pushed me away, and she won't answer the phone." He explained, rubbing his face in annoyance. Jin saw his distress and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Who would hurt her, she's the sweetest." Kook carried on, looking to his elder for advice.
"I dont know jungkook, but focus on the important thing. She needs help." Knowing jin was right, he kept his gaze on him.
"So what do I do? She won't talk to me." After a minute of silence, the brunette gasped, alerting jungkook.
"Here's an idea."
Laying in my bed, I hadn't moved all day. I felt so weak. Everything hurt. Tears were staining my cheeks. I didn't want to let jungkook go. He was my everything, even if he didn't notice. But why would he want me when minji was there? My phone buzzed yet again. This time, I was going to block him but was pleasantly surprised at the text.
Gguk: hey, I got a meeting tonight. Could you come look after bam? I won't be able to get home at all.
Knowing he wouldn't be there, I agreed. I couldn't let bam starve like that. It took me an hour to even get out the house and drive over to his house. But, eventually, I arrived. Making my way inside, I found it strange that bam didn't greet me. Shrugging, I filled up his bowl using a measuring cup. My legs buckled beneath me and I dropped down against the kitchen floor. Luckily, I didn't knock anything. Tears welled up in my eyes. Why was I so pathetic? My shoulders began to shake as I tried so hard to contain my cries. There was a noise behind me, at least bam was here. Sniffling, I kept my head down.
"I'm sorry. I put your food down. But I'm so stupid, I probably messed that up too. I can't even stand up without falling over. I really, really hate myself." Was it stupid to pour your heart out to a dog? Either way, I spoke out to him. At this point, tears were yet again streaming down my cheeks. Unexpectedly, arms wrapped around me from behind, gently tugging me back.
"Dont say stuff like that, you're not stupid." Jungkook spoke softly, turning me around. Seeing his concerned face, I felt my lip wobble. His hands came up and wiped my cheeks.
"Dont hate yourself. Its going to be okay." Instantly, I started sobbing. How could he be so kind after seeing the state I was in? Jungkook wasted no time in picking me up. On autopilot, my arms wrapped around his neck as he carried me into his bedroom. He sat on his bed, placing me on his lap.
"Can I help you please?" Taking a deep breath, I nod but didn't dare let go. Rubbing my back, kook kept his voice small.
"I'm not going anywhere. I promise." Reluctantly, i detached myself from him and jungkook got up, disappearing into his bathroom. I felt cold, hugging my knees to my chest best I could. Why did he want to help me? Nothing made sense.
"Could you show me where you're hurt?" Gazing up, I saw the male holding a first aid kit. When I avoided eye contact, he frowned and stepped closer. Gently, he brushed my hair aside.
"I'm not going to leave you. I promise. I just need to help you."
"Why?" I whispered, swallowing the thump in my throat.
"Well, you're hurt and injuries can get infected a-"
"No. Why do you care? I'm not important. I'm just a convenience." Now completely confused, jungkook sat down next to me and tilted his head. Delicately, he placed a hand on my knee.
"A convenience? What does that even mean?" He asked, trying to meet my eyes but I refused.
"You only talk to me because I'm easy. The only reason you ask for me to come here is because you know I will. You're just too shy to talk to anyone else." As I spoke, the man beside me felt himself grow angry. Turning towards me, he, very carefully, moved me around. Finding myself face to face with him, I swallowed thickly. His breathing seemed deeper, tongue poking at his peircing on reflex.
"You think I only talk to you because I find it convenient that you'll help me out?" Nervously, I nod at his question and almost flinched at how his face fell. Scooting forward, he cupped my cheeks whilst shaking his head.
"(Y/n), you really don't understand do you?" I blinked at him, subtly leaning into his hands.
"You have no idea how scared I was to talk to you all those years ago. I continue to include you in my life because I want you in it." He spoke softly, thumb running across my cheek bone.
"Why were you scared?"
"Because-" He cut himself off with a laugh, embarrassment evident in his tone. Giving me a shy smile, kook sat away and grabbed the aid kit.
"I'll tell you, if I can clean you up?" Letting out a breath, I nod. Happy I'd agreed, he took hold of the hem of my jumper.
"Can I?" I gave him a quiet hum of confirmation and closed my eyes as he pulled it off of my body. Jungkook tensed instantly. All those wounds concealed under the thick material were now on display. Seeing my elbow, the shade of purple it was, he gasped.
"Oh (y/n). Why didn't you tell me?" My lips pressed together, squeezing my eyes shut to stop the tears. He got to work, firstly aiding the scratches on my arms. Each time I winced from the disinfectant, he apologised and tried to be gentler. After they were wrapped, he applied cream to my face where it was bruised. The worst of it was the bruise on my ribs, it was accompanied by small cuts from the broken skin. He was so delicate with me, taking his time to clean the area and apply the correct creams. Finally, he inspected my elbow and frowned deeply.
"You need this checked out professionally." He sighed, wrapping it up for now. I just bit my lip anxiously.
"You can wear this." Jungkook handed me his white tshirt, which I put on immediately. He dimmed the lights of the room and switched his TV on. I got myself under the covers and curled up. Getting in beside me, the male scootched down and looked at me sadly.
"Who hurt you?"
"I can't tell you." Looking confused, he reached over and started to run his fingers through my hair.
"Yes you can. What do you think will happen?"
"You'll hate me." I told him, not daring to look at him.
"I dont think there's anything that could make me hate you." Thinking over it all, my mind began to swim.
"Dont cry my love." Blinking fast, jungkook carefully pulled me up into his embrace. My nose pressed to the crook of his neck. Our bodies were snug together.
"Tell me please. I hate seeing you like this. It breaks my heart." With a turbulent breath, I sat up. He was quick to follow my actions, his hands on my waist and me partially on his lap.
"You know-" squeezing my eyes shut, jungkook brought me onto his thighs fully. I couldn't even compute that action however, my head was too muddled with all that was happening.
"Take your time, I'm listening." Nodding at him, I finally caved in and looked down.
"You know Minji?" Jungkook looked at me, bobbing his head.
"Well, she hates that we're close."
"Why?" He asked, trying to comprehend what I was saying.
"Because she really likes you jungkook. Id go as fsr to say she's in love with you. And, you know, you should like her too! I don't understand how you couldn't."
"Answer me one thing (y/n). Did she do this to you?" I wet my lips, rubbing my eyes harshly.
"Yes." Cupping my cheeks in his large palms, kook came to eye level and looked at me intently.
"Then I could never even fathom, falling in love with her. Let alone liking her. Trust me when I tell you, you're never going to see her again." He never took his eyes off of me, my heart started beating unnaturally. Sliding his arms around my waist, jungkook pulled me into a gentle hug. I rested my head on his shoulder and took a deep breath, inhaling his musky cologne.
"I dont want you leaving my side." Finally, I let out a tiny laugh at his words.
"Huh? Do you want me to move in or something?" I joked lightly, enjoying his embrace after such a horrible few days.
"I wouldn't mind." He replied, arms seeming to tighten around my middle slightly.
"I'm not your girlfriend jungkook."
"You could be." I froze. Slowly, I pulled away, keeping my hands on his shoulders and gaped at the man in front of me.
"That's not funny."
"I-i wasn't joking." He grinned, taking hold of my hands and linking our fingers.
"You asked me why I was scared to talk to you? I was scared because, you're pretty." Blushing, I struggled to find the words. So, jungkook continue upon seeing my confusion.
"You've always been pretty. And, I was what- sixteen? I was sure you'd just laugh of you ever figured it out." He scratched his nape nervously, cheeks tinted with embarrassment.
"Figured what out?"
"That I like you." Silence settled between us, my brain slow to catch on. Once his words sunk in, I gazed at him with a mix of emotion. Firstly, I couldn't believe that. Secondly, what the fuck?
"You like me?"
"Well, yeah. You're my best friend, you're always here. You're the best thing that happened to me. Debut was hard, life was hard. Then you appeared and made everything better." As he spoke from the heart, I felt myself smiling happily.
"Its been nearly ten years. Why didn't you tell me?" My hand held his cheek tentivley. Jungkook shrugged shyly, leaning into my touch.
"I couldn't risk loosing you. But it looks like I nearly lost you to a psychopath because of that." He chuckled sadly, inching forward slightly. It was insane. How did I never notice his feelings for me. This whole time, I let minji get in my head. Without thinking, I closed the gap between us and pressed my lips to his. Jungkook stuttered slightly before kissing back eagerly. He was careful of my bruises, as he held me flush to his chest. Taking the lead, he tilted his head to deepen the kiss. He poured all his love into the action, hoping to make up for lost time. Eventually, I pulled away to take a breath. Jungkook was grinning like an idiot.
"I'm hoping that means you like me too?" Instead of replying, I hit his chest softly abd brought a laugh out of him. Once he'd started to relax again, jungkook, very carefully, laid down; bringing me with him and onto his chest. Instantly, I felt comfort, his strong arms holding me to him protectively.
"Get some sleep, I'm taking you to the hospital in the morning." Nodding, I sat up slightly to kiss his cheek sweetly.
"Thank you." He just smiled, ruffling my hair up then reaching over for the light. Suddenly, I grabbed his wrist. He looked at me in question.
"What about minji?" Redirecting his hand to his phone, jungkook unlocked it and went to contacts.
"Dont worry, I've got a plan for that."
The very next afternoon, minji arrived at the studio for her session. Having not seen me for two days, she was in high spirits. Making her way into the practice room, minji flicked the light on then dumped her stuff in the corner. Suddenly, the door slammed behind her. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end, as she turned around. There stood yoongi. One hand on the door, the other tucked away into his pocket. Slowly, he looked up, smirking as he clicked the lock.
"Now then. We're gonna have some fun."

Yoongi x fem reader
Genere: fluff fluffy fluff. Established relationship
Synopsis: your evening with yoongi
No warnings
Tumblr media
It was past eleven pm. Rain hammered down on the windscreen as yoongi drove home. His eyes stung from staring at a screen all day. But, he'd finally got the beat figured out. As soon as he heard jimin was doing his own solo work, he jumped on the idea and promised to help in producing. And, even though he loved it, god, he was tired. Of course, jimin held a special place in his heart to everything had to be perfect. After three days, it had all molded together. Pulling into his garage, yoongi locked his car and hastily made his way over to the door. He fumbled a bit, struggling to get his keys straight. All day, just work. No good or water. He winced internally at his stupid actions or lack there of. Once the door was open, he wasted no time in getting it shut and kicking his shoes off. The soft patter of footsteps could be heard and he didn't need to look up to know who was coming. Arms wrapped around his middle, face pressed firmly into his neck. Yoongi felt peace, finally.
"You should be asleep." He muttered, hugging back just as tightly. Slowly, you pulled away and looked up at him with a frown.
"Dont be lecturing me. You've been gone all day. Have you eaten?" When you got no response, you sighed sadly. Taking hold of your hands, he kissed each one lovingly.
"I'm sorry, (y/n)." Not neing able to resist his slightly pouty face, you let out a little laugh before tugging him along.
"Go shower, I'll heat up some food for you okay?" He agreed, slipping off into the bathroom.
After his shower was done, yoongi threw on a sweatshirt and some matching sweats before heading to the kitchen. Expecting to find you there, he was surprised to find it empty. Turning on his heel, he stepped into the living room and instantly smiled upon seeing the room. Everything looked so cosy. With blankets piled up on the cream soft, candles lit and Netflix displayed on the tv. Yoongi also spied the steaming food on the coffee table and almost groaned when it caused his stomach to rumble. A giggle was heard behind him and he smirked, quickly turning round. After a quick check to make sure your hands were free, he grabbed you by the waist and carefully (very, very carefully. Yoongi wasn't a monster.) threw you over his shoulder. Squeaking in surprise, you hammered down on his back jokingly. He dumped you onto the blankets before promptly hovering over her.
"You think my suffering is funny do you?" Hands pinned by you head, you laughed and shook your head.
"No of course not!" Grinning, his hands found your sides and attacked them, bringing you out into a fit of laughs. Through each breath, you tried to apologise but it was just downed out by the man chuckling above you. Deciding to give mercy, yoongi sat back whilst you caught your breath. His eyes never left your form, wallowing in all your details.
"You're staring." You smiled, sitting up so the two of you were closer together. Shrugging, he repositioned yourselves so he was sat with you between his legs. Reaching over, you grabbed the plate and began feeding your boyfriend.
"Just admiring what's mine." He spoke, words muffled by food. It still made you blush however and another smile graced your lips.
"Stop being silly." Once all the food was gone, the plate was put down and you turned to yoongi with an expectant expression. Puzzled, he brushed some hair off of your face.
"Want something darling?" Nodding at him, you tugged on the jumper he was wearing. Of course, he thought but took it off anyway. Happily, you threw it on and immediately lay down onto his chest. Yoongi took a moment to appreciate the situation he was in. You were nestled on his chest, his fingers running through your hair tenderly.
"You're not going to the studio tomorrow." He furrowed his brows ar your words. Seeing this, you leant up and and cupped his cheeks.
"I text joon, we're both staying off tomorrow. We can sleep all day."
"No." He answered sternly making you frown. Did he not want to be with you? He suddenly smiled at you, taking your hands off his fave to hold them.
"If I'm gonna be off we're not sleeping. We can go on a date." He said, hands moving down to your waist. Relaxing, you smiled happily and wrapped your arms around his neck.
"I'd like that." You replied, leaning forward and pressing your lips to his. Reciprocating the kiss, yoongi thumbed at your waist, effectively brining you closer. You smiled into the kiss and pulled away for breath shortly after.
"We can go to your favourite restaurant? I'll book it out." Sometimes you forgot just how influential your boyfriend was. He could book out a whole restaurant just so you had privacy. Nodding, you buried your face into the crook of his neck, inhaling his musky scene. Yoongi pulled the blanket over you both and lay back against the cushions. A movie played on low volume in the background  yet neither of you payed attention. You were half asleep by this point, with his fingers scratching against your scalp so gently. He simpered, feeling his own eyes growing heavy. His free arm held you close, pressing a final kiss against your head.
"Goodnight love." You didn't hear him, but you didn't need to. You already knew, even if he wad never good with words. Sometimes, actions speak a thousand times more. He loved you, that's all that mattered.

Jimin x fem reader
-not alone-
Genre: fluff, angst, childhood friends to lovers
Warning: sh, diets, bullying
Synopsis: reader is really struggling and jimin is really in love ❤️
Tumblr media
My arms wrapped tightly around myself as I stood in the line for baggage check-in. Seeing as it quater past three in the morning, it was absolutely freezing. Still, early flights were better, and I could always sleep on the plane. Security dragged on, but eventually, we made it to the lounge. My parents got themselves a coffee, sitting themselves down and starting to talk. With a sigh, I got up and headed over to the drinks station. I poured myself a glass of water before placing it down to the side of me. There was also a selection of complimentary pastries that looked amazing but, wad it worth it? I'd been on a diet the past month, and so far, it was really working. Suddenly, everything went dark. Hands covered my eyes, making me let out a noise of confusion. However, a short chuckle behind me told me exactly, which my attacker was.
"Guess who?"
"An annoying little gremlin, that's who." Gasping, I was let go and turned round to a very offended looking jimin.
"I am not little!" This was true, from my perspective anyway. I had to tilt my head to meet his gaze. All I did was shrug, leading him over to where our families were now together. They were busy discussing the itinerary for our trip. Every time swimming was brought up, I felt my chest tighten. Dread set in, knowing I had two weeks of hiding myself away from everyone and coming up with lame excuses.
"You okay?" Turning my head, I gave jimin a fake smile and nod.
"Just sleepy." He hummed, not entirely believing me but deciding to drop it for now.
The plane departed just as the sun was rising, a beautiful veiw as we left the ground. A yawn escaped my lips, eyes trying hard to fight back the sleep I so desperately craved. Pulling my tray table down, I folded my arms ready to rest my head and sleep. Jimin quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me up. Taken by surprise, I hissed in pain and drew away. He blinked in concern, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Sorry, didn't mean to grab you that tightly." Sounding really guilty, I shook my head fiercely.
"No its alright." He lifted up the arm rest between us before patting his chest sheepishly.
"We'll both be more comfortable if you sleep here." Turning red, I pressed my lips together and gazed at my lap.
"That's okay, I don't wanna hurt you." Scoffing a laugh, jimin looked amused at my statement.
"How are you gonna hurt me? What are you on about? Come here." Giving in, I inched closer and rested my head against his chest carefully. Immediately, his arms were around my form, a hand running up and down my arm. It was both warming and soothing. Placing his head on my own, I drifted off to sleep easily.
By the time we arrived at our villa, it was midday and the sun was blaring down. Apparently it was going to get hotter each day and that scared me. There was no way I could walk around sleeveless, not looking like this. Once unpacked, I changed into some shorts and a loose fitting shirt. This would ne somewhat cooler. I went downstairs, finding everyone sat together. My mother looked at me with a frown.
"Why are you wearing that?" Panicked, I sat next to her with a grin, a very loose grin.
"I'm not that hot. What's the plan anyway?" Across from me, Mr Park sat forward.
"We thought we could head to the beach? Then get some food afterwards?" Swallowing down my nerves, I nod and pretended to love the idea. Whilst everyone was getting ready, I could feel eyes on me and found jimin staring over with worry. But why would he be worried? I hadn't done anything to indicate I wasn't okay. As we set off, I walked at the back, trying my hardest to think of a reason I wouldn't go swimming. I had nothing. Time passes by quicker when you don't want something, I found myself sat on the sand far quicker than i wanted. The beach was fairly empty, my parents in the sea and the Parks not too far behind. Hugging my knees to my chest, I felt a presence next to me and didn't need to ask who it was.
"You wanna come swimming?" All I did was shake my head. Jimin sighed, looking at me with clear worry. Why did he care? Why was he sat beside me when he could be having fun?
Maybe, once, I'd of been happy the boy I liked was taking so much interest. Now it scared me, because if he found out, I'd loose everyone.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." My answer was too quick to be genuine and we both knew that.
"Why don't you wanna come swimming? You love it." My eyes wandered over to him, immediately noting that he was now only in swim shorts. Face heating up, I cleared my throat.
"I changed I guess."
"In a few months?" Taking a deep breath, I bobbed my head in affirmation. It went quiet between us. Clearly he was thinking, trying to understand why I was acting so weird. The sun was blazing, making me sweat like no tomorrow. It was getting harder to think straight.
"You should take that off." Again, I shook my head. He was right though, it would really help but I just couldn't.
"How about-" having enough of his constant questions, I stood up hastily.
"What? Stop tormenting me! I don't wanna do anything with you!" I yelled out, frustrated and overwhelmed. Brows furrowed, jimin stood also and seemed annoyed.
"Tormenting you? What? I'm trying to help you! You're acting weird!" My breathing became shaky, taking a step back to steady myself.
"Am not! Leave me alone, you don't even care about me!" Now I was just lashing out, using jimin as an outlet. Shocked at my outburst, his eyes widened.
"How can you say I don't care?" His voice was small, making me feel insanely bad. Though, at that moment, I couldn't hardly think straight.
"Because! I'm nothing to you now! You have a life and I'm not important in it. I'm not important to anyone. In fact, the world would be a better place without me!" Gaze softening, jimin reached out but I flinched away from the kind gesture.
"That's not true. You're so important to me."
The world around me began to blur abd I had trouble focusing my eyes.
"You're just saying that to make me feel better." I slurred, wobbling in my place. Suddenly, the heat was growing tenfold and my face felt extremely clammy.
"(Y/N). You're scaring me. You need to sit down." I tried to disagree but I couldn't speak. Instead, I felt my eyes roll back and myself fall against something solid. I knew there was someone talking but I couldn't make anything out. Feeling myself get hoisted up, I weakly clung on before fully slipping away.
Slowly, my eyes opened with great difficulty. Finding myself on my bed, I could hear the whirring of the AC and wondered how I ended up here. Now significantly cooler, my head was pounding and my stomach was swirling with acid.
"Feeling better?" My head shot up as jimin entered the room. In his hand, he held a small white box. Taking in my facial expression, he simpered and took his spot on the bed beside me.
"Of course you're not. Sorry." Carefully, he lifted his hand and stroked my cheek with the pad of his thumb softly.
"You really scared me, collapsing like that. When did you last eat?" Taken off guard, I blushed at the action before promptly shrugging.
"Uhm, I had breakfast yesterday?" I offered as my answer but he just frowned. He pulled away, popping the box open. It was a first aid kit, why did he have that? Turning around, he grabbed a bottle of water and held it out to me. I took it gratefully, finding the cap already open.
"Why do you have that? Are you hurt?" Jimin just looked at me sadly as I took a sip of the water. Confused, I was about to ask when I caught sight of what I was now wearing. His shirt. He must have changed me into something cooler. Realising my arms were now bare, I paled. Everything was on display, the mess I had created for myself. He saw it. My lip wobbled, both in fear and overwhelming sadness. Now everyone would find out. I'd be yelled at, I'd be laughed at. Everyone would ignore me. A tear rolled down my cheek and jimin was quick to act. I closed my eyes, preparing for the ridicule. To my surprise, I felt his hands hook under my arms and pull me onto his lap. His arms wrapped around my waist and my nose pressed into the crook of his neck. No matter how hard I tried, the tears wouldn't stop and I sobbed harshly. I tried to apologise, feeling bad for acting this way but all I could do was sputter pathetically. His hand rubbed my back affectionately, lips pressing to my head.
"Relax, I got you." His voice was so soft, I thought I was dreaming. There was no way he'd be so kind after seeing something so disgusting on my skin. Moving me back, jimin wiped my cheeks as I sniffled.
"I'm gonna clean these up. Is that okay?" Biting my lip, I nod but that didn't please him.
"Can you speak, angel?" Ignoring how the pet name made my heart flutter, I took in a breath.
"Why are you being so nice? I don't deserve it." He sighed, cupping my cheeks.
"Yes you do. You might think I've forgotten about you. Or that you mean nothing?" I nod at his words, agreeing that's exactly what i thought. As children, we were inseperable. But, as time went on, we had to grow up abd do out own things.
"You're wrong. I still need you (y/n)." He told me, sincerity laced in his tone. Giving me a smile, he gently took hold of my arm and observed the cuts. It was a mess to look at and I was aware of how deep they actually were. I was lucky to have not done anything serious. With great care, jimin wiped down the wounds and bandaged everything up. It almost made me tear up, how soft he was handling me.
"You gotta stop though, seriously. I need you around." Our eyes met, making me feel extra guilty. Holding onto both my hands, he took the left and kissed the back of it feverishly.
"Promise me, even if you can't stop right now, you'll call me. Even if it's the middle of the night, promise me?" Nodding, I gripped onto his hands weakly, hoping he wouldn't leave. Seemingly pleased with my response, jimin simpered.
"Hungry?"
"A little."
"How about ice cream?" He suggested, looking at his phone for the time. It was almost seven, sun set. Liking the idea, I bobbed my head again and allowed him to help me up. I tied my shoes and followed jimin out of the villa. Together, we walked down the sandy paths, as families were getting ready to head home from their day out. My hand was clasped in his, still wearing his shirt. To anyone else, we probably looked like a couple and the thought made me flustered. I did see a few looks of pity as people saw the bandages but I chose to ignore this. It was none of their concern after all. Spying a little cafe, jimin pulled me inside and over to the counter. He didn't even need to ask and immediately ordered me my favourite flavour in a cone. Along with his own mocha cone. I tried to pay but he thrust his card against the machine before I had the chance. Giving him a glare, he just laughed playfully then head outside with our ice creams. Finding a bench by thr beach, he took a seat and pat the spot beside him. I sat down, taking my cone gratefully then staring out at the sea. We ate in silence for a minute, I didn't really know what to say. I was still really embarrassed that he had to see that.
"Did you tell my mum?" I suddenly thought, asking him nervously. Turning to him, gave a closed smile.
"You know I had to."
"Was she mad?" Confused, he shook his head whilst licking at the melted treat.
"Not at all, just very worried. She made me promise I was going to look after you." That's why he was doing this then? If course, why would he actually want to spend time with me?
"That's why you helped me then? And why you brought me for ice cream?"
"What? No, (y/n). Why can't you understand that I really care about you. You mean the world to me. I'd be with you everyday if I could." His hand came up and rested on my shoulder. Looking at him with doubt, I bit into my cone. Smiling, jimin turned to face me fully. He stared at me for a minute as I swallowed my food. Giving him a questioning gaxe, he just chuckled and leant in. His lips pressed to mine softly, hand cupping my cheek. After the initial shock faded, I melted into the kiss and and rested my hands against his chest. Smiling, jimin tugged me in closer and deepend the kiss just enough to convey all his emotions. So many thoughts were dancing around my mind. Mainly I just couldn't believe this was actually happening. He pulled away, licking his lips.
"You had ice cream on your mouth." He said casually with a smirk. Gasping, I hit his chest gently. We both broke out into laughter. Jimin sighed happily, making sure I was tucked into his side securely.
"You're my girlfriend." He announced, fingers raking through my hair carefully. Giggling, I looked up at him.
" You're supposed to ask dummy."
"Nah, I already decided." This just prompted me to laugh more, laying my head on his chest. It was nice to forget everything whilst I was with him. It was nice to know I wouldn't have to hide myself this vacation anymore.
"Oh and you're staying with me in my room now. Another thing I've decided." Nodding at him, I couldn't help but to kiss his cheek.
"Thank you."
Well, the next few days were amazing. We went on boat trips and had several meals out in nice restaurants. Though, nothing can go as planned and on the fourth day, I started reciveing texts. It was currently one a.m and I was staring at my phone screen, looking over all the messages I had been sent. Why were girls so mean? Tears rolled down my cheeks, debating if I should leave the bathroom. Glancing down at the screen again, more texts came through and I felt myself loosing control. Without thinking, I grabbed jimins razor and took it to my thigh. It was like I blacked out because the next thing I knew, I was covered in blood. My breathing picked up and panic set in. Suddenly, the door opened and jimin stood there, shirtless and rubbing his eyes. In any other circumstances, I'd be a blushing mess. But not right now. As soon as he saw me, his eyes grew wide. Immediately I started sobbing, dropping the razor and hiding my face in my hands. Quickly, jimin picked me up and placed me in the tub very gently. He grabbed the wash cloth and pressed it against my thigh to stop the bleeding.
"I'm sorry." I cried out, struggling to catch my breath. He stayed quiet until he knew the bleeding had stopped. Then, he put the plug in and carefully got in behind me whilst running the hot water. His arms slid around my waist, lips kissing my cheek repeatedly.
"You have nothing to be sorry about. I'm here, I've got you now." He rocked us slowly as the tub filled. I didn't care that my pyjamas were now soaked, I just wanted him to stay by my side. Jimin was light in his movements as he washed away the dried blood. Every now and then I'd let out a hiccup, or a tear would fall. And each time, jimin would press a kiss to my lips reassuringly.
Afterwards, he got us dry and dressed me in another one of his shirts. Sitting on his bed, he wrapped more bandages around my thigh.
"How do you feel?" He asked, clearing everything away and coming next to me. Holding my waist, he pulled me between his legs and I rested my back against his chest.
"Shit." He nod, taking hold of my hand.
"What happened? Be honest please." Taking a deep breath, I showed him my phone and told him everything that had been going on at college. He listened intently, scrolling through the messages and shaking his head.
"Thank you for telling me. We'll get this sorted out, I promise you. For now, I'm gonna keep a close eye on you." He smiled, tossing my phone away after blocking the accounts.
"Thank you jimin. I'm sorry I didn't come to you. You make feel so safe, really you do. But I was so overwhelmed." I told him, curling into his chest, basking in his warmth. Tilting my chin up, jimin leant down and kissed me lovingly.
"I understand. Next time I'll be with you okay? I'm not leaving you now." Smiling, I nod and hugged onto him tightly. He returned the favour, pulling the thin sheets over us then laying down. Of course, he had flicked thr lamp off by this point.
"I hope you know you're never getting rid of me, (y/n). I love you too much to loose you like that." Speaking quietly, I gazed up at him through the dark and blushed. Thankfully, he couldn't tell.
"I wouldn't want to get rid of you. I love you just as much." Happy at my response, he drew me in closer, placing one final kiss to my temple. With my ear pressed to his chest, I managed to fall asleep, his arms never let me go through the night. It was reassuring to know I finally had someone there, someone I couldn't share everything with. And maybe I wouldn't have to use myself as an outlet now he was there. Maybe, I wasn't alone anymore.
