The tension growing between Danny and his usual teen ghost rogues because he’s getting to grow up and they aren’t though

The conflict because ghosts are just emotions and ectoplasm and every emotion is so much stronger when you’re young, dialed all the way up and keeping you sharp

Knowing that even aging, just getting old enough for the brain chemistry to settle down and the intensity to relax, would make them less likely to even exist

But at the same time, Danny’s doing it anyway

Alive and not alive

Dead and not dead

Doing the one thing Johnny, Ember, Kitty, Youngblood, can never do

The thing they were so sure they never wanted when they were alive

The way he’s changing and his relationship to them changes with it, when ghosts are all fixed and stable and stuck

He was one of theirs, the Ghost Boy, but all of a sudden he’s growing into a Ghost Man and none of them want to be adults but at the same time… it’s the first time any of them even see it’s a possibility

Because Phantom grows and changes. Phantom grows up

And they never could

And one day he’ll be an old man, wrinkled and wizened and they’ll still be young and vital and dead dead dead

My favorite day is Day 3, I might have to do more than one of those prompts. I am writing an angsty thing with the Knight Jason and King Danny. But there's also blood blossoms which have a lot of potential. And the stuck together in a coffin, which can either be terrible angst or absolute crack XD And the dialogue is just A+ "We may have come back wrong, but at least we came back." chef's kiss
