This is Gandalf. He was the first kitty in Human's household that let me cuddle with him besides Hammie the foster. At the time he was the biggest of all the kitties (no I am!) but also very easy going. This past spring, Human had to rehome Gandalf with @orbitingsaturn. Weasley made it clear that even though he's lived his entire life with Gandalf, that he was unhappy. Weasley would frequently go after Gandalf. Not in an aggressive manner, but Gandalf clearly didn't want to play and Weasley didn't listen. Weasley also peed inappropriately and had other issues that led us to putting him on prozac. After much deliberation, we concluded it might be better for all of us if Gandalf found a new home (Human says even though Weasley was the issue, she wouldn't wish him on her worst enemy). Human's friend of many years offered to take him. Our household never seemed to notice or care about Gandalf's absence (other than Human of course). Weasley calmed down and was able to be weaned off prozac. This morning Human played a video if Gandalf howling (our Bengal cousins are much more vocal than us Savannahs) and immediately I was on full alert looking for Gandalf. Weasley too! Human thought it a fluke and played another random Bengal howling. No response. She played Gandalf again and I went off looking for him.
