Happy birthday! Your post said to appreciate the mundane, so the dog and I spent a couple extra minutes outside this morning, listening to the birdsongs and searching for the stray cat that hangs around our house. It was such a quiet, peaceful morning. The rest of my day is probably going to be hectic, and tomorrow is my birthday, so it was nice to have a lil moment like that. I hope you have a rad day :D
I'm glad you had a wonderful morning! and I'm sorry you got a holiday birthday too xx
Anyway, my mum is gonna get me a nes mini and snes mini for my birthday and I’m really excited about it and thinking about playing games with my girlfriend, it’s also got me hyperfixated on Zelda games

(I couldn't get you a proper gift aka a drawing because I got a beautiful artblock and I can't think of what to draw for your birthday so have this lemon singing happy birthday to you, love ya /p)
anyone else have multiple traumatic memories associated specifically with holidays/family vacations? because that is a topic I never see discussed in all the So You Had A Shitty Childhood, Now What? self-help books i've been reading. but for me, it was a significant thing. and the more i think about it the more it seems like this would be an (unfortunately) common experience. would be grateful to hear if this matches other peoples' experiences...
Hermitcraft Postal Service off-roading!! I really love all the vehicles Pearl has been making here recently, so I just had to draw her driving one. I was inspired primarily by the mail van, and made this roofless just for fun.
