Lucien has the three S words: sass, smartness, and sexiness. He’s got a warrior’s body and a courtier’s wit. He’s got the rizz and the earnestness. But his most underestimated characteristic is his loyalty. He swore an oath to protect Feyre and came to heal her UTM. Rather than give Amarantha’s Feyre’s name, he was ready to be mind-r*ped and die. When Feyre offered her name in exchange for his life, he risked his neck for her and got whipped as punishment. After UTM, his loyalty was split. He tried to advocate for Feyre while also putting up a united front for the sake of Tamlin and Spring. He was abused by Tamlin as a result. He braved the Night Court to save Feyre from the torment he thought she was facing at the Night Court. His loyalty to Tamlin and Spring was such that he braved Calanmai with the female who he despised to protect both. Before Lucien even knew Elain was his mate, he was so desperate to get to her that he discovered hidden powers he possessed. Without even knowing Elain, his loyalty to her was such that he was ashamed for participating in the rite (BEFORE he knew he had a mate, btw), and became uninterested in female company aside from Feyre who at that point he essentially viewed as a sister-in-law. It broke him to leave Tamlin but he had to because Tamlin had strayed from the right path and he had to protect Feyre and get his mate back; the mate who he found out was engaged already, and he still wanted to find her. Even after his mate continued to mourn her human fiance and avoided him like the plague, he still remains loyal to her (rather than have throuple time with Jurian and Vassa). And even after everything Tamlin did to him, he still tries to offer him company, recognizing his depression and loneliness and wanting to help him heal. His loyalty isn’t spoken about enough because unlike the bat boys, he’s not blindly loyal. He is fiercely loyal but he’s also highly intelligent which is why it broke him that he had to (in his eyes) betray Tamlin for the greater good of Prythian and himself. After Elain got rejected by Graysen for turning Fae, a male as loyal as Lucien is exactly who she needs.

For the weekly theme: first dates!!!

Hi Mod 🎀! This time I got inspired by your response to my previous ask, so I wrote a lil blurb that's set in the Hermittown Fae!AU as well! It's also poly!teamZIT, just because I feel like their chaotic energy fits this prompt a lot

Tango is still a fiery Blaze with a love for tinkering with weird inventions, Zedaph is some sort of satyr/goat creature who knows wayyyy too much about the human body for someone who never went to med school, and Impulse is a demon with a calm demeanor, and a love for gold (but he loves his partners even more!!!)

Zedaph, Impulse, and Tango have always been a team. They just seemed to understand one another without words. They hung out a lot together, sometimes working on Redstone creations, or sometimes just enjoying one another's company on lazy afternoons

So it wasn't really a surprise when their love for one another started to turn romantic. No one really remembered who started the topic, who proposed a date, or who mentioned that a meadow near Tango's mansion was full of flowers this time of the year, but all those things led to the current moment - the trio enjoying a delightful picnic, watching as the sun slowly set behind tall trees surrounding all of Hermittown

But the peaceful atmosphere didn't last too long, unfortunately. Soon enough Zed's ears twitched, catching the softest, quiet rustle of clothing ripping on tree branches. He alerted his partners, and all three of them looked towards the path leading from the town itself to Tango's mansion

Sure enough, a group of people stumbled from inbetween the trees. They paused, shocked at the sight of "fellow humans" peacefully picknicking in the middle of "very haunted" area

Impulse wanted to laugh at how much "ghost-hunting" equipment they had on them. Between all of them, they enough knick-knacks to put even Mumbo's curiosity shop to shame

The wannabe ghost hunters definitely lacked good manners, as instead of backing away from what very clearly was a date, they started to set up their weird machines. A choir of beeps and clicks soon filled the clearing, all of the machines going haywire from being so close to Zed, Impulse, and Tango. The dials and buttons soon flashed brightly, all pointing to the direction of the picnic blanket

Oh hell no. The humans will soon realise that the throuple was not sitting on a particularly active spot, but in fact they WERE the very reason why the equipment was going crazy in the first place

Tango didn't think twice, he grabbed his partners' hands and made a beeline for his mansion, abandoning their food. Maybe those stupid humans could follow them into the building, but they sure as hell were NOT prepared for what awaited them there. Tango's current priority was to get all three of them to safety, consequences be damned

The trio quickly rushed through the door into the mansion's main hall, up the stairs, and onto a narrow balcony overlooking all of the ground floor of the building. A few quick spells cast by Impulse made sure he and his partners remained hidden from the humans, unseen and unheard. The trio held their breath, waiting for the mansion's self-defence mechanisms to kick in

But none of those traps (or fun inventions, as Tango and Zed called them) managed to showcase how they worked. Before the humans even got close to them, one of Tango's pet Ravagers (magicked invisible by Impulse, to protect them from humans) chose that exact moment to stuff her face into one of the flower pots at the bottom of the mansion's staircase. Poor thing got a faceful of pollen, and then proceeded into a sneezing fit

Who would have thought that the roar-like seezes would be so effective in spooking the annoying humans! Tango almost fell down from the balcony with how hard he was laughing. Impulse kept on snickering as well, while Zedaph watched in wonder as the humans tripped over their own feet and equipment in their haste to leave the mansion's main hall

Ever since that day, the town, and especially the mansion, started gaining a reputation. People stopped seeing that area as a supernatural hotspot where they could take a selfie with a fully lit up EMF reader next to them. Instead, a veil of mystery wrapped the whole town, as the outsiders accepted that nothing bad will happen to them, as long as they keep their distance from the town's odd inhabitants

As thanks, the Ravager herself got plently of head scritches and treats from all the Hermits, but especially from Zed, Impulse, and Tango

And later on, during their wedding, she was the one carrying the box with matching netherite rings down the isle, towards the beaming throuple. It was a lovely throwback to their eventful first date

The three are unapologetic about the reputation they gave the village because of their date. Impulse still wonders what the humans must've thought of than, but he's not found any posts about it. Clearly, they scared those humans perfectly.

Thankfully, their wedding has no interruptions by annoying, curious humans. Not any that aren't invited, anyway. The other occupants of the town were very happy to scare people away from the wedding day.

I just saw this theory of lucien knows what elain needs because he told feyre to take to the sea the garden for an hour or two and since the archeron first house was manor by the sea well that means lucien know what home means to elain 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂like wtf

First how do we know that was home to elain when the only place she called home was the cabin and velaris , and then this creator go to said that az doesn’t understand her because when feyre ask him what does mean when elain talked about the queen and he banished away without a word. Of course she forgot to put that lucien never understood any of her vision and the only who knows what was wrong with her was azriel not her mate.

Honestly I don’t hate lucien and if elain wanted him i would have die being an elucien but she doesn’t they have 0 chemistry he has respect her yes but when has he understood her? Or how is he her counterpart? Or do we have any foreshadowing of their relationship like a look between them ? A fox of fire looking at his lovely fawn?

Oh right we don’t have none of that. Honestly it doesn’t make me mad I just laugh at stupidity and lack of connection in that post.

Here is the thing with Elucien that I never, ever understood.

It all boils down to one simple word 'WHY?"

We've had Elucien hanging around for over THREE BOOKS now. THREE. They began back in ACOMAF! It's been so long ago. And we've not moved an iota in their relationship. We've regressed.

So the question is--WHY? Why would SJM do all of this?- If she wanted Elucien to happen, what is the point of building them down, not up? The only real thing she could do with them is friends-to-lovers, because we've had so many relationships in her books which were based on animosity. So we know she'd need to break the mould with the next couple--Elucien would've been perfect for that. Slowly building a relationship, a friendship in the background, making them work together, Elain being reluctant and struggling with her Faeness, and Lucien helping her out, teaching her about fae ways, patiently working with her and making her fall in love with him.

Instead, we have Azriel taking on this role. And Lucien's been shipped off to the Human Lands to live with another woman.

No matter what any Elucien tell me, there is no narrative point at all in having both of them not care about each other. No narrative need to build up this fake dislike. None. The whole point of their romance would've been--how do you grow to love each other when life threw you together. How do you overcome your prejudices and find common ground? How do you lean and build something together?

Instead, you have Lucien shucking up in HL in some throuple situation and Elain is making out with Azriel while Lucien is in the house. What is the logic behind this? That suddenly they'll 'wake up' and run through a dewy meadow arms outstretched crying 'I love youuuuu!!!'

None of it would ring true now, because we know that it would be the bond pushing them together, and not affection and love.

Unless someone can explain the logic, Elucien is dead in the water and no 'theories' work for them.

I’m assuming the new crybaby fic takes place after Threat attacked Soap BUT is this the first time the two of them have seen each other since Price removed their tethers to Soap? Because I would love to see Threat and Soap’s first meeting after that just be them fighting over crybaby and making snips at each other like bitter, petty exes. Soap taps Crybaby and just scoops her up to gloat at Threat.

Crybaby's fic takes place in a really weird middle ground. Threat sleeping with Soap was actually going to be a little discussion point between them and Crybaby! It was going to vaguely go:

Crybaby: wow three times? Might as well marry the guy.

Threat: *eye roll* trust me I'm trying to get rid of him, he's going to mess up my whole operation.

Crybaby: the sex game cannot be that competitive.

Threat: *already halfway to tapping her* sure sex, that's what I'm talking about.

But this is also not the first time they've seen each other post Price clearing Threat's trap! I actually have a fic in the works for that. This is however two wolves fighting over a piece of meat (sorry Crybaby), because Threat has started feeding off her too by then. I do think Soap picks Crybaby up to take her home, but realizes Threat is there too and he can't evict them. So, he's gotta figure out another way to keep his artist un-eaten.

i don’t necessarily ship elriel but this is just a little headcanon

given elain’s ability to see into the future, it would be cool if azriel trained her to be a spy or used her power to help with az’s spy missions 

after all, a lot of spies were often the servants and common people that had no extensive training in spying, it’s about a network of information and not having it be directly led back to the main source. 

but this song genuinely gives those vibes. And how can be interpreted as shifting from one pair of eyes to two, representing them working together.

Hello! I’m Demon, 23, and I live in the EST zone. This ad will be short and sweet, as it’s really more of an interest check and a dragnet for writing partners rather than a thought-out and fleshed-out plot(I am hoping to share the building of that with you). I’m going to list a short number of requirements/preferences right now:

I prefer a 3rd person/past-tense format. I write comfortable between 3-7 paragraphs but can often do more, if my partner matches or comes close to the length of whatever I write. Visa versa, I tend to match my partner’s length per post. My starters always tend to run long, however.

I love a mix of wholesomeness and angst. I am open to and very comfortable with various dark themes, as well as smut/ERP as long as it doesn’t dominate the story. You should know that my characters are submissive types, regardless of how meek or fiery their personality is. Further details can be discussed privately.

I play male/non-binary/non-hetero-normative characters and I also prefer MxM pairings. Very rarely, I will play an AFAB character, but don’t count on it.

I roleplay mainly on Discord, but can be flexible for various platforms.

Yes, yes, yes, I did the Fae or Foe quest! It was so fun and yes I danced with Tyril hehehe. My MC, Hades, is romancing Tyril and Mal so this scene really hit different. In my HC, Hades, Tyril, and Mal end up in a throuple by the end of the book and it was so fun to see this scene as a lead up to that.
