Since I was supposed to be in a team meeting that got cancelled today, I’ve just been doing housework and trying to catch up on Genshin Impact.

Trying to be productive in Australia’s summer heat is gonna be a struggle.

The youngest child of the king John and Queen Rose born via magical means due to the queen's complications after her second childes birth. Theo had a relatively normal childhood, one of which was of her fallowing after her older siblings like a little duckling and doing her best to copy their mannerisms. Eventually she grew out of this habit and found her love with everything realted to magic.

Many would find the young princess in the library with her nose deep in a book or studying anything she could get her hands on regarding magic. She often avoided anything related to the royal side of her deity's manly due to her own insecurity's, But despite that she very much speaks her mind and dose her best to be well studied when it comes to the court knowing that eventually she will need to be more involved.

There is nothing surprising in the fact that the trip went quickly and unnoticed for you. After all, time is fleeting. Mora comes and goes, some friends are replaced by others, the old love dies, giving way to a new one. Losses, it would seem, cannot be avoided even when it comes to the main value in a person's life – time. Time does not wait for a person. What happened yesterday is already history. What will happen tomorrow is not given to anyone to know. Usually people don't think about it, and, in fact, you haven't really thought about it either.

And now you are already standing in the harbor of Liue. The sun has not yet set, but the stars are already going out in the sky, first the dimest and smallest, followed by brighter ones, and the moon dissolves into the milky whiteness of the sky.

“Truly a beautiful sight,” you think, looking at the sky.

Your thoughts are interrupted: the noise does not allow you to immerse yourself too much in your thoughts. Despite the earlier morning, it is still noisy and crowded. The harbor was bustling with life, people hurried about their business. Looking at them, you involuntarily recall your “journey" through Teyvat. Initially, your plans included the first visit to Mondstadt - the famous city of freedom and songs. And although you were not a bard, where else would your stories and fairy tales be appropriate. But now you are still in Liue, and the reason for that was the Ceremony of Descent. Every year on this day, Rex Lapis bestows his prophecy on this land, giving instructions on the economic path that Liue should follow in the coming year. “This doesn't happen every day. When will I have another opportunity to witness this event?” - you think.

And so, with a quiet and smooth gait, you go to the Yujing Terrace.

Making your way through the crowd and trying not to hurt anyone, you pass to the front rows. Your (e/c) eyes slide over the people standing there until they stop at a tall woman with long blond hair standing in the center with two other girls. She stares at the bright sun for a moment, then holds her hands out in front of her, making a solemn speech. When she finishes, she does something with her geo vision, which causes a golden ray of light to rush into the sky.

“How fascinating..” - you think, watching her actions. It seemed that you had seen before how people used their visions, but despite this, you do not cease to admire.

But your admiration is interrupted. The heavens are covered with dark clouds, and a dragon falls to the ground with a characteristic loud sound. Everything happens too abruptly and quickly: people whisper in anxiety, the woman who spoke a solemn speech approaches the dragon's body and you realize everything that is happening.

Rex Lapis is dead.

You feel anxious and fearful. How can this happen? Why? A lot of questions fill your head, and you start to feel even more anxious. Taking a deep breath, you try to drive away all thoughts and pay attention to your surroundings. It seems that those present who were in the front rows are being interrogated now. Not wanting to have any accusations and questions in your direction, you try to carefully leave the terrace. Involuntarily, not far from you, you notice two people who, like you, are apparently trying to leave. They were a guy with blond hair braided in a braid, and a flying girl with white hair and a halo on her head. The clothes of both looked unfamiliar to you, so you assumed that they were not from Liue, but simply arrived here as tourists or travelers.

Unfortunately for you and these two people, the guy steps on something that makes a sound that attracts milleliths to all of you. Your first reaction is to run. Maybe not the most reasonable reaction, you think, but the most obvious. You run as fast as possible, trying once again not to catch the eye of other milleliths. Your “friends in misfortune”, as you mentally called them, follow your example by running away. But no matter how fast you and they run, there are too many milleliths, which leads to the fact that you are surrounded. Your head is filled with different thoughts again, but before you have time to give up, a mysterious person appears, which "saves" you and travelers from millelites.

“Ha.. What unexpected twists of fate..” - you mumble while straightening your hair and trying to catch your breath after an intense run. You are definitely not used to running around, considering that your life is usually much more peaceful.

“Phew.. Paimon is tired!” - putting his hand on his head, says the girl, who, apparently, is called Paimon.

“Tell me, what muscles are strained during flight?”, her companion asks, looking at her calmly.

You watch their dialogue, having a little fun. It seems like a pleasant change compared to what you experienced a moment ago. Having finished their banter, they turn to the “savior”. Now that the danger has passed, you were able to get a better look at him: he was a tall young man with blue eyes, red hair and a red mask on his head. His clothes were mostly gray shades, a red scarf hung around his neck, and a hydro vision was present on his belt. His face seemed vaguely familiar to you, although you couldn't remember exactly who he was or where you saw him. Paimon asks him about who he is.

“Call me Childe”, he replies.

Well, now you understand why he seemed familiar to you. His name is really known among the people of Snezhnaya.

Childe Tartaglia, The Eleventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.

You have seen him several times with, as you assumed, his younger brothers and sisters, during your performances in Snezhnaya. Sometimes you noticed him alone. Alone, he seems more cold and gloomy than with his family. But this is highly expected, given his status. Although, no matter who he is with, his presence is worry. It's not that you are against the harbingers of fatui - in fact, you don't care about them, but you would feel uncomfortable in their presence. People with such power and authority, besides being close to the Tsaritsa, could easily erase you or anyone else from the face of Teyvat. It's disturbing.

But fate is similar to the wheel of fortune, you never know what awaits you next, right? That is why you are now standing in front of the harbinger that pulled you out of trouble a few minutes ago.

“Hey! Are you all right? Can you hear us?”

You interrupted your thoughts because of Paimon's exclamations. You seem to have missed everything they were talking about.

“I'm sorry, I think I was too immersed in the depths of my thoughts”, you assure in a calm voice, closing your eyes and slightly bowing your head as an apology.

Three pairs of eyes drill holes in you before Paimon asks you who you are.

“[Name] [Surname], the storyteller from Snezhnaya. Nice to meet you.”

“That's how, no wonder you seemed familiar to me. Well, nice to meet you too.” - Childe declares, smiling. His empty blue eyes are fixed on you.

“Paimon's name is Paimon, and this is Aether. We are both travelers!” says Paimon, pointing first to himself and then to his companion, who smiles at you in a friendly way.

Mentally memorizing their names, you smile and nod back at them. “What friendly people" - you think. Childe briefly retells for you what he said earlier, gives Aether sigils of permission, and tells him and you to go and look for adepts. You don't know why fate has turned out this way, but you are glad that now at least you are not alone.

As you leave with your new companions, you listen to Paimon talk about her and Aether's adventure. You are too focused on their story to feel the eyes fixed on you from behind.

I actually have a possible reason for why Kaeya knows about Dainsleif- remember when Kaeya found out about Diluc being the Darknight Hero by fading to the background and observing everything nonetheless waiting for Diluc, Traveler, and Paimon to think they were in the clear before revealing himself in Angel's Share (Diluc's own tavern)? I imagine he might have done the same thing every time Dainsleif visited Angel's Share (this includes the quest where we FIRST met Dainsleif and had a chat with him concerning our POV about Teyvat in itself). Imagine what other information Kaeya might've learned about Dain while the latter had interacted with Charles (or maybe Diluc) or had his Death After Noon!

G.IMPACT SPOILERS FOLLOWING, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

// I could definitely see this being true! Kaeya may not be the best liar, but he definitely excels at getting information and tucking it away for an advantageous use another day. While Dainsleif is extremely secretive about a lot of things when people who aren't directly involved are around, I'm certain Kaeya, in his silent investigations, has picked up on some tidbits from Dainsleif that the Twilight Sword THOUGHT were being shared only amongst himself and the Traveler.

. . . or, maybe he knew Kaeya was there and let loose a bit more on purpose, because Dainsleif is extremely observant and cautious himself. ;) We won't know until M/hyo is merciful enough to say so.

It's obvious that they've been watching each other for some time now, undeniably, and I very much look forward to their future interactions, because this absolutely won't be the last time we see a Kaeya and Dainsleif interaction. They're interwoven into the plot TOGETHER now, and for me, that's extremely exciting. Only a matter of time until a certain Alchemist is, too. ;)

You greeted him back and he seem s little bit of nervous "well uhh.. i was wondering if i could spend a night at your house? Like a sleepover ykyk" he touched his nape a little embarrassed "Ofc! You're welcome to my house as always" you smiled at him before walking to your home

Sooner or later the ginger will regret falling for your sweet trap.

"OW! STOP IT YOU DEMON CAT-" you sweat drop at the sight of childe being bullied by your cat; scratching his face with his sharp nails

"im very sorry childe but maybe Kuni have a problem with you.." "I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING!一STOP IT!" He tried to keep Kuni out of his face but he can't because Kuni was gripping on his clothes that it will tear off soon..

"maybe he have a problem on your existence" you gave childe a close-eyed-smile "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TAKING YOUR CATS SIDE WHO ONLY KNOW YOU FOR LIKE A WEEK INSTEAD OF YOUR POOR FRIEND一OW!" He argued and you feel a little guilty but it was his fault not You cat.. right?

"he's adorable yk.." you wipe a fake tear before patting your lap and Kuni immediately stopped bullying Childe and cuddle at your lap as if he did nothing

"both of you are gingerphobic" "Im glad you know^^" you could see the veins popping out of Childe's forehead while he eats his dinner specially made by you ofc

After dinner You and Childe decided to watch a movie at your laptop but while attempting to lay his head on your shoulder your cat didn't seem to like it. So Kuni decided to scratch Childe on his cheek leaving a wound "OW-! THIS DEMON ISTG"

This time Childe expects you to protect him but to his suprise you just shrugged your shoulders "Its your fault for doing something he doesn't like"

Childe.is.close.to.crying.

"[name] idk what in the world did this cat did to you or cast on you but CAN'T YOU SEE HE'S A LITTLE DEMON???" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN A DEMON?! BE GLAD IM LETTING U HAVE A SLEEPOVER AT MY HOUSE AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CALL MY SWEET ANGEL INNOCENT KITTY KUNI?? HOW DARE YOU." You glared at Childe who seem clutching his chest letting out fake crocodile tears.

"oh my sweet [name] this isn't you.." Childe sighs before going to sleep at the guest room while you grinned and have a highfive with Kuni before giggling "Now we can watch movie together WITHOUT someone THIRDWHEELING"

At the very next morning you woke up with Kuni snuggling at your chest comfortably and you noticed a note at the coffee table meaning Childe already left this morning

Grinning to yourself you decided to spoil your Kuni again "c'mon Kuni.. wake up we're going on a date!" You slightly poke him and he soon open his eyes before stretching. You got up and do your morning routine with him!

Brushing your teeth beside him while you gave him his own cat Colgate (yk those things for pets to not have stinky breathing ykyygejsg), cooking while he's on your apron pockets watching you cook his and yours breakfast, eating with you while you eat on the floor with him watching him eat because he's cute while eating!

"say wanna go to the near cat café i found? That would be fun because you can make friends there! Also thinking of adopting another kitten.." You see him staring at you with sad eyes, he didn't want you to adopt another kitten! You already have him as your kitten and you dont wanna pay another 3k+ for the other kittens things.. (wow surprisingly he wants you to save money for himself LMAO💀一)

"Welcome! Please make yourself comfortable" you sat at the chair near the window before placing Kuni at the table watching cats climb up to the chair and play with him.. but he doesn't seem to get along with the cats very well...

He keeps hissing at them and even attempt to scratch them with his sharp nails, you thought that the ginger cat reminds him of Childe thats why he's acting like that

After finishing your order you head out of the cafe and decided to buy your Kuni some.. toys

Listen he can't just scratch the side of the sofas, the carpet and other things yk so why not buy him his OWN toys?. You're back again at the same pet shop; the place where you spoiled Kuni

"Kuni since you've been scratching other things lately... Especially childe (except the fact he's a human) i decided that we should buy you some toys hm? Are you ready to make my wallet heavy again?" You smiled towards the small kitten before pushing the cart grabbing almost every.single.toy.

Deep inside Kuni was a little bit worried about the prices (oops did i spoil?) What about the electricity bills? The water bills? What about YOUR food? But you look like you don't care about anything or anyone right now but him.

"I think we should build you your own room dont you think?" You put your hand under your chin thinking about his very own room look like before grinning.

"Alright! Time to be broke again!"

If it wasn't for your friends stupid idea you wouldn't have to feel bad be guilty while looking at the sight of your kitten sulking at the corner. 'if i need to take a punishment for hurting his feelings ill gladly take it because i deserve it.' you thought while eyeing his movements.

He rolls on the ground and hit the wall. You immediately stand up and start rubbing circles at his head while he keeps sulking; still thinking about the new kitten that you're gonna adopt "god are you okay? Do you want food? Toys? Anything to cheer you up?" You bombarded Kuni who still didn't answer you nor look at you. But your heart wasn't prepared for what will he pull.

Kuni look at you with those big eyes with his pupil becoming big as if he was begging you to not do something 'OH MY GOD I'M GONNA DIE' You eternally screamed. Trying to avoid his tempting pleading eyes "I swear you're gonna be the death of me..." You grumble, picking him up and grabbed your (empty) wallet.

"I'm sorry but pets are not allowed-" "Do i look like i CARE?" You glared at the guard who's trying to stop you from bringing Kuni inside the mall "but ma'am im just following the rules-" he keeps on insisting and then you decided to gave up... Well actually the opposite of that. "Fine then." You walked away from the mall and hid beside the building.

"if they don't allow pets, then how about this huh.." you smirked at your silly idea; putting him inside a plastic bag and put some unnecessary light weight items inside and pretend its full of your groceries. "God why am i so smart"

You walked at the building again but this time the guard doesn't care about people entering in the mall 'WOW LATELY HE'S MAKING A SCENE ABOUT BRINGING MY ANGEL IN AND NOW HE DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK IF SOME PEOPLE ENTER WITH THEIR PETS' you glared at the guard before entering the mall; ready to spend everything

"now then for the new kitten, maybe a same treatment with Kuni will do" hearing the word "new kitten" Kuni's head pop out of the plastic bag while looking at you, but you didn't seem to notice the poor kitten.

Now here you are, standing Infront of the ATM; staring at your bank accounts amount of money. Seeing a low number made you laugh at yourself nervously "haha... Did i spend too much? hahaha..." You scratch your cheek while looking around if thr coast is clear enough for you to pull your black card

'just once...' you thought but you knew that "just once" will turn into amounts of spending. Clearly not just once. "Let's just pray this shit still have money inside after what i did last month"

You checked the plastic bag thinking that Kuni was still inside,but to your horror he wasn't there. You immediately panicked and search the whole bag but still no sight of Kuni 'How am i gonna find him with this big ass mall...' you went for 10 minutes breakdown beside the ATM before gathering all of your energy and find your small kitten while praying that no one will adopt him.

Meanwhile your Kuni...

A young man with indigo hair that covers his ears, as well as indigo eyes look around the mall trying to find a glimpse of teal hair but he didn't noticed someone bump to him.

While you are busy finding your kitten you suddenly bump into someone; you apologize and the man who you bumped with reminds you of you Kuni but you quickly shook off the thoughts and apologize again "im sorry!" Before running away.

Scaramouche froze in his spot... Not only you didn't recognize him nor know about his secret (that he can turn into a human) you didn't recognize him. He muttered something before going to a empty place; transforming back into a kitten once again, on his way to find you.

You were going insane. You searched every corner, every store and even asked every person in the mall if they found your kitten. You were close to give up but not until you felt a soft fur rubbish on your feet, you looked down and almost screamed when your beloved kitten finally appeared "Thank goddess! I thought you got kidnapped!(kittennap)" You hugged your cat; promising yourself not to let him go. "Now lets head home, i heard the new kitten is already in our house!" You exclaimed and run out of the mall.

Opening the door of your house, you gently dropped kuni to the ground and immediately search for the new kitten. While you're busy roaming around your house Kuni was staring at something under the couch. He hiss at whoever or whatever creature is there hiding under the couch. Kuni stared at the glowing yellow eyes of the new kitten while displaying his sharp nails as a sign of threat.

"ah! There you are!"

NEW KITTEN 2 | MLiST | ♡

An: the moment y'all been waiting for

Tw/Cw: mentions of getting bitten & scratched and blood and sprinkle of angst

"aha! There you are!" You picked up Kuni from the floor curious why is he glaring at something under the couch. You crouch down only to find the new kitten that arrived lately! You reach out your hands to the kitten; bracing yourself from the painful bite but...

Surprising, It didn't bite you. Like it somehow behaved after you reach out your hands. You placed Kuni on top of the couch and you move the couch a little bit so that you can grab the new kitten. You thought it would be scared of you at first but the kitten became very comfortable around you even in the first day.

Kuni on the other hand was not liking it. He knew something was off with this new kitten. The new kitten have dark-ish teal hair (congratulations for those who guessed Xiao) and piercing gold eyes; which is kinda familiar to Kuni. But once he connected the dots he realized that...

Xiao, was the new kitten.

And no he wasn't happy about this, he cant have another cat or more likely a person to steal your ONLY attention.

On the bright side you adored how the new kitten looks.. but you still have to think of the new name. "Hmm... You remind me one of my friends back in middle school, so why not have same name as him? Xiao!" The kitten flinched at the name which didn't go noticed by you, BUT Kuni did. He noticed how Xiao flinched when you set the name for him. Oh well the two can have a "friendly" talk when you're asleep.

"will you two please stop fighting at each other..." You tried your best to part them but its no use; you have scratches all over your arms and a bite at your hands. The two of them kept on fighting for hours obviously they hate each other. And you made a mistake on putting Xiao on same room as Kuni.

一Before the fight

"alright you two will share the SAME room okay? And might as well get along.." you prayed that these two will be in good terms which goes to south very fast after you announced that both of them will SHARE the same room that was supposed to be for Kuni only.

Kuni hissed at Xiao as if he's saying 'get out of my room' in which Xiao returned. You were busy fixing some things at the room and didn't notice the two start fighting until you heard a loud crash at living room.

You immediately rushed and saw a glass shattered on the floor with Kuni and Xiao still fighting and onr of them almost broke the very expensive vase that your mother gifted to you. You immediately went over them and tried to separate both of them but you were like a different person in their eyes at that time.

Kuni scratch your arms and it draw a little bit of blood while Xiao who bite your hand causing for you to drop both of them while holding your hands and rushed to the sink go wash the blood off.

The two kittens just realized what they did and both of them immediately felt guilty that they both hurt you at the same time.

一Present

Now you're here at the Animal bite center, the treatment was expensive but it doesn't matter to you since health is more important. You took a note that you should get both of them anti rabies.

When you got home you feel a little bit hurt due to your cats behaviour lately. You went to their room and saw Kuni at the cat tree; on verge of tears.

"why are you crying?" He let out a small meow which you took a signal that he's sorry for what he did lately to you. "Don't worry im not mad at you-" "mrow.." he snuggled at your hands. He thinks that you will stop feeding him and worse; cuddle with him. You were surprised that he felt so bad that he starts crying but you wonder where is Xiao.

"don't worry i will cuddle with you even if you hurt me lately.. now dont be sad" you gently scratch the back of his ears which he let out a purr. You felt a ticklish fur rubbing on your feet, you look down to see Xiao staring at you(r soul) you picked him up and put him beside Kuni and you waited for them to communicate to each other but instead they just glare at each other.

You chuckled at their cuteness and pet both of them, who are you to deny their cuddles after what they did to you?
