𝜗𝜚 just come home , lando norris

✦ °. — girl dad!lando norris x fem!reader

✦ °. — plot: your husband has been away due to racing season so when your two year old vocalizes on the phone how much he misses him, he takes a break from his breaktime to come see his two favorite girls.

✦ °. — warnings: none, lando + reader get emotional, really cute like tooth rotting (wc: 902)

✦ °. — mars’ mind: i had this exact dream about lando a few nights ago and really really wanted to write about it before my head exploded

it was slowly getting late as you stood in the kitchen washing up dishes from dinner, while your daughter lily sat in the floor playing with her toys. your phone started buzzing, you looked at it and saw lando was trying to facetime you. you hurried to dry off your hands and swipe to answer.

“hello!” lando beamed once your face appeared on the screen. “hi my love” you smile, propping yourself up against the counter on your elbows. “how are you doing?” he asks, its was bright out, he most likely was just now leaving the track he just raced on.

“oh i was cleaning up from dinner” you pause, “i watched your race, did good today im proud of you!” the praise made lando smile from ear to ear, he got p4 which isnt podium but still something to be proud of. “maybe that why i did so good, cause i had my lucky charm watching me” he giggled at his own remark, even made himself blush.

you walk over to your daughter, sitting on the floor next to her. “actually, you had both of your lucky charms!” you smile, showing lily the phone. lando’s face lit up and he waved at her, “hi darling!” he chimed.

lily reached out for the phone, grabbing it from you and holding it comedically close to her face. “oh okay i guess its her phone now” you joke, smiling at her. “hi h-hi daddy!” she seemed as if she wanted to reach out to him through the phone. lando giggled at just the pure sound of her voice.

“hi there princess, did you watch daddy race today?” he asks. she doesnt say anything back she just nods her head. “i-i miss you” her little voice and her pleading words made your bottom lip stick out in a pout. “aw you do? well daddy will be home soon okay darling?” lily nodded, turning her attention back to her toys and dropping the phone on the ground.

you grab the phone, standing up and walking down the hallway to the bathroom. “well i guess she didnt want to talk to me anymore” he jokes before pausing to take notice of your face. the lines around your eyes and your nose turned pink and eyes watery. “whats wrong baby?” he plead. “i dont know” you shrugged, laughing at yourself for getting teary eyed. “for some reason the way she said she missed you pulled at my heart strings a little bit” you smile.

“i know mine too a little bit, made me feel a little choked up” he smiled. “we do really miss you over here though” you got somewhat serious with your statement. “i know honey and you know i’d be on a plane to you right now if i could but my body desperately needs a break”

you nodded, you knew he was right. it wasnt gonna be like this forever but for the small amount of time that it is, it sucks. “i know baby, and its okay, you know i want you to prioritize yourself right now” you smile, at him. “okay, ill let you get to bed soon, kiss lily for me too okay?” you nodded, sniffling and wiping your face. the two of you exchanged virtual kisses before hanging up, allowing you to get ready for bed.

the next morning was the same as all of them, morning shower, then making and eating breakfast and then cleaning up. lily had just gotten cleaned up and you left her in the living room watching tv so you could brush your teeth. you stood for a minute, looking at yourself in the mirror poking at all of your insecurities you’ve had your whole life.

suddenly you heard lily yell “daddy!” you assumed maybe lando had called you and she got to the phone. “lily honey is daddy on the phone?” you called out walking down the hallway. there was silence, no talking from lily just complete silence. “lily?” you called out again.

you stopped in your tracks when you reached the living room, there stood lando in the doorway, holding lily tightly in his arms as she giggled. “oh my god!” you smiled, lost for words as you ran up to him throwing your arms around his neck. “hi baby” he laughed at the sheer force in which you threw your body at him with. his free arm wrapped around your waist, holding you at the small of your back.

“what are you doing here?” you ask, placing both hands on each side of his face. “well obviously i needed to see my two pretty girls” he smiles, smothering lily with kisses, making her burst into a fit of giggles, slowly sitting her back down.

the both of you watched as she quickly ran back over to toys. you turned your attention back to eachother as you connected your lips, which was the first time in a week but felt like years. “no really why are you here? you need rest and you what, get on plane and choose to lose sleep?” you mutter.

he shrugged his shoulders, smiling at you, “i meant what i said, i wanted to see the two of you, plus i’ll get my sleep eventually.” you felt emotional again, you always felt emotions stronger when it came to lando for some reason, you just couldnt understand how you had gotten so lucky to be with him.

"What's your name?" Lizzie ask looking at you with a smile, "yourname!" You say with a shy smile, looking at the camera. "What would you rate this.. boy on a scale to one to ten?" You lean over to see the picture on her phone. "hm a 9, his hair, I love it! aw he has a sweet smile, he looks like he knows how to party wildly, gosh, I love his eyes, really pretty shade, hm he looks overall sweet and the type to have a contagious laugh!" You say with a warm smile, giving your honest opinion of the boy. "What would make him a ten?" Lizzie asked you, and you say, "I would have to meet him, see if he's a gentleman!" "Who's your male celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked you, "Phil Dunster" You say shyly, getting rather redder than you were before. "He's british, god love me a london boy, um he's very handsome as well, charming smile too." Lizzie nods, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making you fidget. "I would be a solid 7 and 1/2, since I kinda got ready today?" She says a bit unsure. "What would make you a 10?" "If I was bit more taller, I'm 5'5, and If I was a tad bit more confident." They nod at the camera.

the camera flips !

"What's your name?" Lizzie ask looking at Lando sweetly, "Lando!" He says with a nerveuses smile, looking at the camera. "What would you rate this.. girl on a scale to one to ten?" Lando leans over to see the picture on her phone. "oh 8, she's cute, looks really shy but yet again funny if you get to know her, she's really stylish in my eyes, oh she plays guitar! overall looks sweet.." Lando list, smiling at Lizzie. "What would make her a ten?" "I have to get to know her, see if she vibes with me!" He says confidently. "Who's your female celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked him, "Anne Hathaway" Lando says shyly ,fidgeting with his hoodies string, in the background you can see Carlos giggling a bit. "She is lovely brunette and a very charming smile, I kinda liked her ever since my sister forced me to watch "The Princess Diaries." Lizzie nods, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making Lando laugh lightly. "I would be a solid 8, not saying this to be egoistic, but I'm confident in myself and i'm great at communication with my loved ones." He said confident, with a smile. "What would make you a 10?" She asked making Lando sigh. "uh if I was a tad bit more taller, I feel like girls just tend to like taller guys but I like how I look." Lando winks at the camera. "Would you like to meet her?" LIzzie says, catching his attention quick. "sure!"

the camera flips into you guys meeting !

"Hello!" Lando smiles big at your surprised face, then it instantly got red as you stood up rather too quickly, "Hello!" You say extending your hand. "woah your really pretty." He says rather shyly, making you giggle softly, "You as well, love your eyes." Then the two of you look at eachother a bit enhance with your guys presences, Lizzie is about to go up to you until Lando blurted. "Can I get your phone number, please?" Making both girl shocked. "Sure." You smile sweetly at him grabbing his phone out of his hands, Lizzie smiles in success then goes up to the "Did the rating change in person?" She asked, making both of them look at each other. "Mine changed." Lando smiled making the other girl shake her head. "Mine didn't." She looks at him in love.

━━━━ ⟢ 𐙚 oscar piastri,

"your name?" Lizzie ask looking at oscar normally, "oscar." He says with a nonchalant face, looking at the camera. "What would you rate this.. girl on a scale to one to ten?" Oscar leans over to see the picture on her phone. "um she looks like an 8, love that she's the academic type, she has intense focus but rather looks cute while doing it, um beside the studying, she looks like she has a very good social life, I like that." Oscar smiled looking at the girl on the screen, then smiling at Lizzie. "What would make her a ten?" She said making oscar hum. "No one is a ten in my eyes, but if I were to get to know her a tad bit more, I would change my answer.." He says logically.

"Who's your female celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked him, "Rachel zegler" Oscar says normally, somewhat getting a tab bit nervous, in the background you can see Lando face planting himself. "I like her voice, but my crush right now is rather recent since I just saw the The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Loved her voice." Lizzie nods, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making Lando laugh lightly. "I would be a solid 6, I'm a gift giver, I love showing my love in gifts, I'm a funny guy when you get to know me." He said shyly, with a dorky smile. "What would make you a 10?" She asked making Oscar hums. "uh if i wasn't a introvert, I'm not good with social events but it's whatever." Oscar smiles at the camera "Would you like to meet her?" Lizzie says, making him red a bit. "okay, yea."

the camera flips !

"Your name?" Lizzie ask looking at you with a smile, "yourname." You say with a smile, looking at the camera. "What would you rate this.. boy on a scale to one to ten?" You lean over to see the picture on her phone. "Oh a solid 8, he's cute, aw he looks like a sweetheart, god you can tell he's a bit shy, love that he plays a sport, love his hair, he reminds me of my cat at home." You say with a warm smile, giggling just a bit. "What would make him a ten?" Lizzie asked you, and you say, "I need to met him, and see how quiet he is." "Who's your male celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked you, "Ross lynch!" You say, reading your self for this moment. "Ever since I watched "teen beach movie." God was I head over heels, I love how sweet he is, and he's just so golden retriever." Lizzie nods, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making you think. "I would be a solid 7 and 1/2, I will say I look good on good days and look bad on rest days." You say honestly. "What would make you a 10?" "I will say, I'm a tad bit too much, a bit loud, I have insomnia, so i'd have to fix that first. " They nod at the camera. "Would you like to meet him?"she nods, now getting shy.

the camera flips into you guys meeting !

"Hello, I'm oscar..." Oscar smiles lightly when he's met with you warm smile, you got up to shake his hand. "Hi, i'm yourname!" He could tell you were a ball of joy, but what makes him lean in more, was that you pushed your glasses up. Lizzie comes in and gets in between you two, "Did the rating change?" She asked, making Oscar look at her nervously, but his breath was gone when you shook your head as in no. "Mine didn't, don't worry all good things." You said, making him smile and agree. "Would you guys exchange numbers?" Lizzie pokes, making you laugh breathlessly. "Sure, if that's okay with you?" You ask him, making him snap out of his daydreaming while looking at you. "uh yeah." Oscar has a smile plastered on his face for you..

━━━━ ⟢ 𐙚 max verstappen,

"What's your name?" Lizzie asked you, "yourname" You say with a noticeable spanish accent. "What would you rate this.. boy on a scale to one to ten?" You lean over to see the picture on her phone, humming... "hm a 8, his eyes, woah, really nice shade of blue, seems really competitive though, he certainly knows how to change moods, oh he's dutch? He seems cool." You say with a warm smile, giving your honest opinion of the boy. "What would make him a ten?" Lizzie asked you, and you say, "I would have to meet him first." "Who's your male celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked you, "ugh Young William Levy!" You say excitedly, making a fan with you hand, making Lizzie laugh. "He's a famous actor in mexican soap operas, He's just so tall and charming!" Lizzie nods, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making you fidget. "I would be a solid 8, I'm confident I look nice, I'm happy how I look like, I'm a good friend and a good listener." You say confidently. "What would make you a 10?"This makes you think."If I had a better english accent, and maybe like an Inch shorter, I'm 5'8, rather tall for a girl." They nod at the camera. "Would you like to meet him?" "sure."

"What's your name?" Lizzie ask looking at Max teasingly, "Max." He says with already red face while looking at the camera. "What would you rate this.. girl on a scale to one to ten?" Max leans over to see the picture on her phone. "A 9, god, shes spanish? she's gorgeous, looks ready, I like that, she seems to be a animal person, looks like she loves to travel, that's nice. " Max list, smiling at Lizzie. "What would make her a ten?" "I have to get to know her, see if she's like that in person." He says confidently. "Who's your female celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked him, "Shakira.." Max says while turning red , in the background you can see Checo laughing hysterically. "That idiot introduced me into his mexican culture and showed me her "hips don't lie" music video, you can't blame me!" Lizzie laughs, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making max think. "I would be a 8, I'm not the best looking person out there, but i'm a gentleman and I respect women, and I treat my mom right." Max said confident, with a smile. "What would make you a 10?" She asked making Max think again. "If i had the looks of a greek god, I'm joking, honestly If I wasn't really competitive with the tiniest things, and if i was more diverse in languages. " Max smiles at the camera. "Would you like to meet her?" Lizzie says, catching his attention quick. "yeah.."

"Hello!" You say out loud, making max smile instantly. He could tell you had an accent, his good buddy Checo had taught him some of the basic spanish words. "Hello, how are you?" He said extending his arm, wanting to greet you properly. You were the one coming to met him, so he decided to pull you a chair, so that you can sit down. "woah que caballéro.." You smile, making him perk up and smile. Lizzie waits for you guys to settle in before asking more questions. "Did the rating change in person?" She asked, making both of them look at each other. Max laughed and shook his head. "Mine didn't" making you wonder what he rated you. "Mine did, Puedes ver los músculos de William Levy en él, ¡las fotos no le hicieron justicia!" The moment you said that, Checo who was at the table next to you guys laughed hard. Lizzie and Max were a bit clueless, but they knew it was all good things being said. "Would you guys exchange numbers?" Lizzie pokes, making you laugh, and god did Max love it. "Sure, you seem very sweet!" You ask him, making him snap out of his daydreaming of your laugh. "sure." Max has a smile plastered on his face for you..

"What's your name?" Lizzie asked you, "yourname" You say with a noticeable southern accent. "What would you rate this.. boy on a scale to one to ten?" You lean over to see the picture on her phone, humming... "hm a 8, my god, his eyes their so round, and his smile! he looks like a absolute sweetheart! , he seems like an animal lover too, he would love my farm back home, he seems like he's a family guy too, love that in a man, I also feel like he would get along with my brother since they both like the same hockey team." You kept rambling on until you noticed Lizzie smiling, making you mutter a 'sorry' only to have Lizzie reassure you. "What would make him a ten?" Lizzie asked you, and you say, "I would have to meet him first." "Who's your male celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked you, "Glen powell!" You say excitedly, making a fan with you hand, making Lizzie laugh. "Me and him are from Texas and I've met him once too! he's so good looking in person and his accent is the cherry on top!" Lizzie nods, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making you fidget. "I would be a solid 9, I'm a package, my love language is acts of service, I love to cook and bake, I run a farm, I'm a great communicator, I'm good at everything I do because I try." You say confidently. "What would make you a 10?"This makes you think."If i didn't have the habit of rambling, I'm just so oblivious to it!" They nod at the camera. "Would you like to meet him?" Making you turn pink as a peach, you say "I'd love too."

"What's your name?" Lizzie ask looking at Lance, "Lance." He says with charming smile. "What would you rate this.. girl on a scale to one to ten?" Lance leans over to see the picture on her phone. "A 9, god are you introducing me to my future wife? okay, love that she attends games, she owns a ranch? even better, she looks like the type to party widely, she's cute and pretty too, my type. " Lance smiles hard, while Lizzie studies his expressions. "What would make her a ten?" "I have to get to know her, see her beauty in person too." He says confidently. "Who's your female celebrity crush?" Lizzie asked him, "Sydney Sweeney.." Lance says while turning red, making Lizzie laugh, remembering your answer. "She has a lovely smile, and I loved her acting in euphoria, plus I saw her In a new movie trailer for 'Anyone but you' and god she looks so beautiful." Lizzie laughs, going onto the next question. "What would you rate yourself on a scale to one to ten?" She asked making Lance think. "I would be a 8, I'm rather very confident in how I look like, and I treat ladies with respect, I love going out and trying new things, I have good hair days too and my height is what most girls want, sooo." Lance said confident, with a smile. "What would make you a 10?" She asked making Lance sigh. "If I could pull off a beard and a mustache, It's not the best look for me." Lance pouts at the camera. "Would you like to meet her?" Lizzie says, catching his attention quick. "oh absolutely."

"Hello, nice to meet you!" Lance offered his hand, in which you gladly shook with pride. "Hello, nice to meet you too!" Lance caught your little southern accent making him smile hard. Lance also loved the way your smile was so big, it made his heart palpitate. "Did the rating change in person?" She asked, making both of them look at each other. Lance laughed and shook his head. "Mine didn't, you looks beautiful in person too." Lance said, making you turn red and laugh slightly. "Mine didn't, all good things I assure you." "Would you guys exchange numbers?" Lizzie pokes, making you nod so quick. "I'd love to get to know you better." And that made Lance swoon. "Me too."

Sick days and Race weekends— LN4

Lando discovers that his girlfriend got sick while he was away for a race and didn't want to worry him. — Lando Norris x f!reader, fluff, comfort, reader has a bad case of the flu, no use of y/n word count: ca. 1.2k

Ever since you were a kid you'd never been the type of person to get actually sick. Sure, a little cough and runny nose maybe, but nothing ever really drastic. Personally, you were pretty sure your immune system was simply a wonderful combination of good genes and growing up in the countryside.

Your parents had always told you that the fresh air and spending a lot of time outdoors with some exposure to animals had probably played some part in your never being sick as well and developed your immune system in a way people who grew up in urban areas would never have.

But when you moved to London for uni a little later in life, a huge city with tons of traffic, pollution and surprisingly little greenery, you found yourself getting sick more often than when you lived on your parent's farm surrounded by green grass, fields that stretched for miles and lots of animals. However this time you got sick. Runny nose, aching joints, pounding headache, hacking cough, fever that came and went as it pleased... The whole flu package, really.

You'd already started feeling a little off before Lando left for Austin on Wednesday and it had gradually gotten a little worse each day, but by Friday it all just hit like a wrecking ball. But you being you, decided not to say anything much about it and tell your boyfriend it was just a common cold you were dealing with back home.

He'd done so well in Qualifying on Friday and he should really be concentrating on his upcoming race and not his girlfriend's inane complaints from halfway across the globe. You didn't like worrying people. It didn't feel right plaguing someone else with your problems when surely you could somehow find a way to work it out yourself anyway.

But now it was Monday morning and you had curled up on the couch under the heaviest blanket you could find with a half empty tissue box and a giant mug of tea on the coffee table beside you a few hours ago already. You were cold and shivering like leaves in the wind on an icey autumn day like today, even with your hot drink and the warm blanket thrown across your body.

You couldn't have been more miserable. You felt like you were dying. You couldn't go to work, or leave the house because you simply felt awful and weak. So, you decided to just lay down on the couch and wait for Lando to get home.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of waiting for the familiar sound of a key turning in the lock, you perked up a little at the sound coming from the door across the room. Lando stepped inside and shut the door behind him with a soft sigh slipping past his lips, not noticing you.

"Hey... P2!" you croaked weakly and forced a small smile onto your lips when you saw your boyfriend step into your shared flat, suitcase in hand, his coat and shoes still on as well after he just made his way through Heathrow airport and probably (definitely) went through a mini heart attack too when his luggage didn't immediately come out with everything else from the flight, like he always does when you're flying somewhere.

He hesitated for a moment, wondering if he'd actually heard you call out to him. It was the last thing he expected to hear. Reasonable response, you had to concur— after all, you were supposed to be at work. Then he turned to face the couch and saw you laying there, basically drowning under the heavy fabric of your blanket.

"Hey, hey... What's wrong? Why aren't you at work?" he asked in a voice that showed obvious signs of worry as he quickly kicked his shoes off and went over to you, feeling your forehead with his cold palm. "Jesus. You're basically on fire, baby... I thought you just had a normal cough?!"

"Didn't wanna worry you," you chuckled with an innocent smile, but before you knew it, your chuckle turned into yet another harsh cough. According to your mum, you sounded like an elephant with tuberculosis, like she told you over the phone yesterday. Harsh but true comparison, you had to admit.

Lando groaned and shook his head in an exaggerated way. "Yeah but, you should worry me when you get a fever like this!" However his expression softened to one of sympathy as he sat down beside you on the edge of the beige couch, gently stroking your forehead in an attempt to make you feel more at ease.

"Why didn't you tell me you felt this bad when we talked yesterday?" he frowned, some of his soft curls falling onto his forehead.

"You just got P2 and you sounded so happy about that on the phone, so I didn't wanna dampen the mood," you respond with a shrug.

"The only thing you've got me feeling right now is worried, baby. Come on, you can hardly talk without having a coughing fit," he sighed, putting his arm around you and planting a kiss on the crown of your head. "Have you had anything to eat?"

"Not yet," you sniffled softly and shook your head, rubbing the bridge of your nose with your index finger and thumb. It felt like there was someone playing a damn drum solo against the inside of your skull. "Didn't have the energy to make myself anything more than tea. I feel like death..."

"I know, baby, I know..." Lando sighed softly and gently stroked your cheek with his thumb as he stood up and placed his hands on his hips, looking down at you. "I'll make you some toast, okay? But first let's get you to bed... The couch isn't comfortable enough for when my girl needs to rest. It'll give you a stiff neck, sweetheart."

Lando gently looped his arm around your waist and helped you get up from the couch, a soft groan escaping your throat. He held you upright as you slowly walked over to the bedroom where your boyfriend lied you down in bed and pulled the covers over your shivering body, enveloping you in a warm sea of soft bedsheets.

"Alright..." he said with a sympathetic gaze in his hazel eyes and fluffed up your pillow a little, so you could lay down more comfortably. "I'll make you something and I'll bring you your tea in a minute too. Oh and some of that cough syrup we have as well. I know you don't like it, but I don't like it when you sound like you're gonna cough up your lungs any second. Do you want me to make you some soup later too?"

"You can make soup?" you retorted raspily and covered your mouth as another cough slipped past your chapped lips.

"Well... no... But I can make soup from the can?" Lando suggested with a sheepish grin, which caused you to smile a bit as well. It was so nice to have someone who just wanted to help and make you feel better.

"That'd be nice, thank you..." you replied softly and smiled, though you quickly covered your mouth as he leaned down to kiss you. "No! I'll get you sick too!"

"Well, I sure as hell won't let you sleep alone tonight, so whether I kiss you now or have my arm around you for seven hours tonight doesn't really make a big difference, does it?" he chuckled and gently took your hand away from your face to press a chaste kiss against your pale lips.

"Stay with me afterwards?" you hummed softly, not yet pulling away from the tender sensation of his lips on yours and your hand in his.

"I'll stay as long as you want me to," said Lando in response and gently gave your hip a pat. "But first I'll get you something to eat and your tea from the living room, yeah?"
