dream would catch on right away too - he'd see how george's arm slammed down the minute the plushie went under his arm and he'd know. and like......if ur a lil unhinged like me, you'll notice dream's left hand on george's back.....almost as if his fingers were digging into his back ribs.....

"Wake up, wake up, wake up!" Kokichi called out, words gentle despite the humor swinging in his tone. He crawled onto the bed next to Shuichi, still dressed in his night clothes as he leaned down to press several slow, tender kisses to Shuichi's lips "Happy birthday," he murmured, briefly nuzzling into the crook of Shuichi's neck before finally sitting back on his knees. "Your first gift is not having to spend thirty minutes convincing me to get up this morning," he joked, mouth curled into a smile.

"We've got a whoooole day ahead of us, though. But first—!" Kokichi scrambled off the bed, rushing out of the room and, after a few moments, returned with a tray of food. "I made you breakfast! You just have to promise to share some with me."

Only when he had handed off the tray did he sit back next to Shuichi, cross-legged and facing him with a grin. "Today's a worldwide holiday, so no working or thinking about work today." He was fiddling with a crease in the hem of his shirt, already busy thinking about what he had planned for the day and the gift he would give Shuichi later. "You're gonna have the best birthday ever—again! Every year I'm gonna give you a better one!"

“Mmmnn...” Shuichi just lets out a sleepy mumble when Kokichi repeatedly tells him to get up; and even once he was actually wake, Shuichi still kept his eyes closed, just to be playful. Though his pretend sleep would quickly be broken when a smile instantly widens on his face the moment Kokichi starts kissing him, not being able to help giggling into the kisses. “H-Hehehe....” It made his heart flutter happily in his chest, returning each kiss Kokichi gives him before mumbling: “Good morning, sweetheart: Thank youuuu.....” His hand combs through Kokichi’s hair gently when his boyfriend had his face in the crook of his neck. “You got me: I’m awake, now..” He then finally opens his eyes with a soft yawn, greeting Kokichi with a warm smile as he slowly sat up. Hearing what his first wish was makes him chortle. “Oh yeah? Well we’re already off to a good start.” He’s just kidding, too, of course, giving Kokichi’s cheek a playful poke before scooting just a bit closer to pull him into a cuddly hug.

“Oh, how exciting! I can’t wait to celebrate today with you, Kokichi. Oh?” A curious head tilt when he suddenly sees Kokichi get out of the bed, he waits for him to return, wondering what he needed to get; that is, until he saw him return with a tray of food. “!” His eyes light up, telling him: “Ah, for me? Thank you so much!” Pecking his cheek, he accepts the tray and carefully sets it on his lap. “Hehe, of course I’ll share with you! You went through all this trouble to make this for me, after all: it looks delicious!” Picking up his fork, he takes a few bites of it, humming in content. “And it is delicious....  my most favorite kind of breakfast, too. You spoil me so well....”

As he listens to Kokichi go on, he first gives a bashful giggle when he refers to today as a ‘worldwide holiday’, making his cheeks turn a light red. “H-Hehe, please... you flatter me! I’m happy that you think so... but yes sir, I promise to not think about work at all, nor even attempt to do any today. I’m only going to focus my beloved, and the fun we will have today. if you say that I will, then I know for sure I will have the best birthday ever! But you know.... the fact that I get to celebrate today with you, already is making it the best... so you will continue to make it better today.” His smile warms at that last sentence. Just having a boyfriend like Kokichi, who is working so hard to make sure he has the best day today: it truly means the world to him. He doesn’t know what he did to deserve him, but he’s so happy that he does...

“You’re so sweet.... I love you so much, Kokichi. Thank you.... ahh this morning is already starting off so great, and I’m super excited for what else we will do today! I know I’ll have so much fun! Just like with every future birthday then, I’m gonna look forward to them like I am this year! Thank you...!!”

With a bright, lively laugh, he stretches out his arm closets to Kokichi, carefully bringing him closer by wrapping it around his waist, so that he can plant a big, loving kiss to his lips.
