Writing about the sounds I perceive during meditation and the swinging of my attention towards the sounds perceived while in meditation, both of these are making me hear them better. Even when the unstruck and purely perceived sounds are muted, I am better able to keep my attention on them now than I did 2 months back.

I heard a double sound last night. It was like a distant cricket 🦗. I am beginning to think that the type of sounds I hear during meditation are not important to my spiritual growth. The phenomenon exists to better one’s concentration. I perceive sounds only after a few long minutes of sitting in meditation. It takes a bit to interiorise my sense of hearing. Meditations in which I don’t perceive any sound continue to make an appearance.

Israel today with women 18.8.2023

This is one of the best I have seen....note the yamulka on the shekel. People are very bitter at all the momey that is going to the ultra-orthodox.

The above two pictures were me at the march in Tel Aviv against the lack of police action against the murders in the Arab Community. It was night but terribly hot and the sweat was pouring into my eyes but I did not stop was I wanted to keep up with everyone. This young man came and said he was one of my admirers and could he interview me. And then he wiped my face.

The other picture is not so funny. This young hooligan is wearing a shirt on which is written camp of terror with two guns. Neither he nor the public has any problem with that but a little four year old Palestinian was stripped of a shirt with a gun and on sne sent forth shirtless. 

Footage shows male passengers telling her the bus is only for them; driver suggests she takes another line; operating company says it will prevent recurrence

Teen girls told to sit in back of bus, cover up because of Haredi passengers

Incident is one of several reports of bus drivers illegally discriminating against women in past week

Not only that but the wife of this busdriver who harangued the girls came out saying that he was perfectly right and, had she had a gun, she would have used on them. 

This backfired on her because two photos lower down of her came out with her husband on facebook in which she could not have been more undressed or more suggestive. One can only wonder what the husband was thinking when he shouted at the girls that they are not Jews.

Now this came out on facebook but I am sure it must be tongue in the cheek. Two buses.

The one says....you are not modest...you cannot travel

and the other one....the bus did not stop because your shorts are too short

These drivers should immediately fired but the "matter is being investigated." 

'One driver refused to answer a woman when she three times asked him where to get off and when her husband asked her why said he did not speak to women!!!! How did he get the job in the first place. All the companies are "investigating"

The only bright spot was that one young woman had compensation from Egged of 24000 shekel and another lawyer on facebook has asked anyone who has such a problem to contact him and we will act probono.

One lawyer has already come out on facebook to say that anyone to whom this happens should contact him and he will take the case pro bono. One young woman has already been 240,000 shekel by Egged. I wish that would happen to me. I could do with the money.

 This is think was done as a joke....Iran is here......

Obviously I had to draw who was Colari was guarding, Ferri's mum, a warrior that won her people an impossible war (& started a butterfly chain effect that lead to my other seven stories— all like, in one universe)

Loved and equally despised for that as she used unsavory sacrifices to do so in the eyes of many. Colari being her guardian, as supposed to guard her soul from harm, she instead guarded the world from her wrath. Living civilly now with the spoils of high ranks, the only thing that seems to rattle her sleeping fury awake and equally snuff it off is her son, Ferri, that she done everything for & hid from the world.

She sounds like angry opera music

Also, she keeps the head of his father as a souvenir (I drew it in a bag for now 🙊)

#sarah lawson #rip #death ment tw #character actors #the night won't talk #the devil rides out #callan #the odd man #gideon's way #the saint #the avengers #night of the big heat #department s #the persuaders! #jason king #within these walls #the professionals #the browning version #by chance i happened to be looking something up fairly recently which lead me to clock that Sarah was (then) still with us‚ admittedly #something of a surprise. perhaps it was because she appeared to retire relatively early (certainly well before her husband of many years‚ #Patrick Allen‚ who worked right up until his passing in 2006). perhaps it was also that she always seemed like a mature presence‚ even in #the earlier roles I've seen of hers‚ giving the impression she was somewhat older than she was. 95 tho is a good life and she leaves an #impressive cv; perhaps pop culture will remember her best for The Devil Rides Out‚ where she ably holds her own against both Chris Lee and #the fearsome Charles Gray. her leading roles on tv were relatively few; The Odd Man‚ although at least a good portion of it apparently #exists‚ has never seen a home video release (it was one i always prayed Network might get to) and I'm not particularly familiar with Within #These Walls (where she took the lead for the final series) but for me the role to look out for is her spectacular multi episode arc in the #final series of Callan‚ as an enemy agent who seems almost as burnt out as Ed Woodward's tortured lead. she was also in an excellent 1957 #version of The Woman in White for ABC‚ which is well worth watching if you can track it down (i think it ended up on one of Network's ABC #Nights In discs‚ which are still floating around on ebay and the like). a very fine actor and a life well lived
