Hupperdook, Wildemount: Hupperdook is a majority-gnome city in the Dwendalian Empire, known for technology. It also has a famously vibrant nightlife. The Mighty Nein passed through while working for the Gentleman, and stopped to help the Tinkertop and Schuster families.

This might just be me because I’ve seen no one else mention this, but wow did I think the reveal was going to be Isaac being gay.

Honestly never thought that before this episode but him yelling at the fan “what did you call me” , the fact he looked like he was about to cry in the locker room, and basically everything about the conversation with Roy.

I really thought they were going to tee up Colin coming out to the team only to cut to Isaac confiding in Roy.

Hell I still thought the episode was going to end with him coming out to Colin at his house, based on the set up and how Roy talked about him in the interview.

Maybe my brain was just weird this episode but I’m genuinely disappointed that didn’t happen because I think I would have added more dimension to Issac being mad that Colin didn’t tell him. And I’m a little tired of the trope of letting the best friend be a dick for a while until they come around.

quick study tips now that I've almost finished my masters: follow study with me videos on youtube. download cold turkey website blocker on your laptop and liberate website blocker on your phone. chew gum while studying. play an instrument, knit/crochet, or move while on study breaks instead of going on your phone. always keep your study space clean. wear noise cancelling headphones with no music playing (that's my cue to focus). eat plenty always and bring snacks. know when to stop. learn when you focus best, and only plan to be able to work during those times- schedule errands / meetings / hobbies / rest during times when you know you won't be focused. schedule at least one full day per week where you have no responsibilities. if you're too tired to work, take a nap instead of sitting there numb and exhausted with dry eyes. you can skip class sometimes (trust me). know when "good enough" is enough (and when it's not).
