Celebrating Infinite Wealth's release day with this fanart I did for Kaiji Tang, Ichiban's voice actor, since I was lucky enough to meet him at MCM London last year!

I'm a Persona 5 fan, and I also love putting my favourite characters into other settings... especially if they're a bit less despair-inducing than Danganronpa lmao.

So, Gonta as a Phantom Thief (because why the hell not)!! I've had this in mind for a while, and it's definitely not a final design or anything, but I like how it's turning out so far.

Warning, lots of AU infodumping below the cut :')

His Phantom Thief codename is Beetle :)

I wanted him to look classy, but also a bit intimidating and warrior-like

As for why his Phantom Thief outfit has some intimidating vibes when Gonta hates looking scary... I think he would eventually realise (maybe through an awakening scene?) that he can still do good by using that "intimidating” side of himself, and that he should embrace his whole self to help more and more people

Thinking about it, in a final design I want to make his undervest? Underjacket? thing more armoured, and give him more insect motifs and armour overall

Designing a Persona for him... that's gonna be a challenge if or when I get to it lol

Gonta’s very protection-oriented, not only with the armor on his outfit, but with his Persona abilities. Group defense buffs and group heal skills are a must for him. Is there a move in P5 where a character is 100% guaranteed to tank attacks aimed at others? If there is, he has that for sure. Also his element would be wind and his weakness would be fire

The shield-spear combo was inspired by this quote which pops into my head occasionally:

The Phantom Thieves in P5 all have one gun and one weapon each, so an idea I had for Gonta was that his “shield” would actually be a large beetle-shaped armoured gun, that’s strapped onto his arm like a shield because using it as a gun feels dishonorable. ...But I completely forgot about that when drawing this orz I’ll get it right next time

I also have some ideas for a Kokichi P5 design... we going court jester with this one

I like using Occam's Razor when I theory-craft, because often the simplest answer is the best solution.

But man does it sometimes lead to the most BORING answer known to man.

#Jacks showed me a conversation relating to Alter Ego Gonta #and for a while the comment in question had my mind reeling and coming up with tragic ideas to explain it #and then I remembered #“Oh wait. I don't think Alter Ego Gonta is aware what it means to be just an AI/is aware he's not just the original Gonta. He considers--” #“--Himself and the Real Gonta as separate entities. That means ofc he would be alarmed and concerned when this 'doppleganger' knows about-- #“--Him murdering Miu.” #Anyway that answer is so much more boring tho #AU where Miu Gonta and Kokichi all saw the Secret of the Outside World Together #And came up with the murder plan #All three of them coming to the conclusion that Gonta would be the least suspected #and Kokichi would be the most suspected since everyone fucking hates him and thinks he's always up to no good #thus leaving Miu to be the victim #The idea of Miu /setting up her own murder/ is such an interesting concept and the /tragedy/ of it all is even better #and I was very much enjoying that rabbit hole before I realized “Wait. Not only are there lots of plot holes to fill with this but this--” #“--assumes AE Gonta identifies with Real Gonta as himself--which he doesn't.” #Anyway yeah the pains of Occam's Razor #Sometimes the simplest answer really is the best option #Sometimes it's the most boring option tho

Heya, I'm Vee, 18+ years old, female (she/her) from the CET timezone! I'm looking for a few new Fandom Roleplays!

I'm looking for Canon x OC, FxM only (will double for AxA) and very much offer to Double! I only roleplay on Discord.

I am semi-literate to literate. I can write a couple paragraphs, but I prefere not having too much pressure when it comes to length. I usually type around the max. length on Discord, sometimes more. But somedays it might be a bit less.

I write my OC in first person and the character I double as (plus any additional ones) in third person.

I am in college and not the most active (most likely no rapid fire), yet I try to answer regularly and ask of my partner to be patient. Roleplaying is just a hobby for me, so I don't wanna force myself to reply, if I still got work to do or wanna spend my freetime with something else.

I am a big fan of Romance, Angst and Drama! I also like mature themes and topics, like unhealthy relationships, perhaps some yandere here and there and a couple AUs! Smut is possible, yet would I prefere to let it be an afterthought, instead of the whole story.

I also enjoy love triangles (or squares) and am always up to also double for those!

YEAH LIKE. I don't know i see a lot of post that are like "Hurr burr if you like Teruteru and Miu but hate Hifumi you are a hypocrite" but like??? What did you expect?? Okay example. Their deaths: Teruteru dies because he was excecuted because he wanted to see if his mom was okay and this caused him to kill Imposter who he believed was Nagito, strong motivation and death and the fact its the first blackened makes it strong. Miu dies in the virtual world via an elaborate plan between Gonta and Kokichi to ruin the killing game and she dies with the motivation of killing Kokichi to eliminate someone she considers a threat and leave to help the outside world, memorable and tells us about the character. Hifumi dies like a chump because he didn't want Kiyondo to talk to his character ai gf-Bibi

Two of these people are actually noble but the writers need a horny, pervy character for some reason. The other one. Sucks.

Megami (Main vilain in my gf’s story) and Exeilyz (their/her persona) are mother/daughter and don’t have a great relation ship between each other

Step-mother/Brigitte has 4 kids, which one of them is Ines (my friend’s main oc)

Saiko had mentality problems since she turned 10...

Kitsune is my irl gf in the alternative future, this explains why Saiko and her/them are dating actually-

Edera had genetics problems, which is why she’s short as hell

If Saiko actually told Mondo about 👉Kiyotaka’s plan👈, Mondo could have killed Mukuro and Junko with his own bare hand and not dying by Mukuro who killed him

Hajime and Izuru are twins (Okay, i’m cursed, help-)

Chiaki was sent to the dugeon, but Izuru ✨️actually saved her secretly✨️ which made hervto fake her death to Hajime

Saiko has ✨️creeper bombs✨️

Tsumigi was an AI made by Shuichi with chihiro and Chiaki’s help

When Shuichi was revealed as the mastermind, Kokichi snapped and pulled out a gun to shot himself🔫🔫🔫, but Saiko removed all the bullets

Saiko somehow ragged at a game, which made a part of the Mario franchise, came out of her Nintendo switch (they had to buy a new one)

Saiko and Chiru since they got locked in the PC, became virus a bit like Exeilyz, but are still humans

Saiko eats butterflies, which made Gonta throws 🪑chairs at her🪑

Makoto, Nagito, Shuichi and Saiko are chaos incarnated (No way they just blew up a building while eating bodies-)

That 🤪 idiot of Hiyoko🤪 almost died by eating one of Saiko’s creeper bomb to see if it’s dangerous (obv it is !)

Fiby’s based on my childhood plushie, that explains why they already knew eachother when they met

Ryoma stopped dépression since he mets Akane (they play tennis together when they can)

Nekomaru made a sacrifice to save everyone from the Monokuma’s army, which he really died

Imposter’s real name (just bc i can) is Shagi-shi Nonemu (meaning: Imposter nameless)

Ryota didn’t made a video at all, but locked himself at his home during a whole year, trying and hoping to hide from the masterminds

The real Tsumigi was still alive, and also murdered the fake one who was Junko (this is where we saw Junko for the last time [Junko was kidnapped and forced to play as Tsumigi])

Angie is a psychopath jealous of Tenko, this expalins why she killed her at chapter 4

However there are a few ground rules I would like to establish first!

I’ll mainly do x reader or character x character

I’m alright with smut, but if you request it I may not get to writing it since I’m really iffy about what characters I’ll write with it

I will only write for the fandoms I am in or have been in. Depending on which one you request, it might take longer to get to depending on my current interest in said fandom

I can write both headcanons (scenarios? imagines? not sure what to call them honestly-) or one shots if you wish! Headcanons will be much faster for me to do and will be my default, however if you specifically want me to do a one-shot just tell me in your request!

I am so willing to write darker themes such as yandere and other various things falling into the horror genre, so don’t be scared to ask for it!

I will absolutely NOT write any form of incest or minor x adult content

I can write character x character things as well! Can be platonic or romantic!

Any requests with children or characters that I headcanon to be children will be strictly platonic (this rule will be a bit flexible depending on the fandom)

For the ship ask I want to ask you two ships because I saw you like them and I really want to read an analysis about them

1- Sonia x Gundam x Chiaki (Do they have a name?)

2- Ougoku

I've nicknamed them Songunaki, but since I'm the only person who I know ships them I can pick the name. I also ship it with ai Chiaki, but human Chiaki works just as well.

I think Gundam would be the one most willing to talk to Chiaki if she somehow survived the neo world program. (my headcanon is that she has backups, but they are less advanced than the Dr2 version we see.) Most everyone else would feel either upset she betrayed them, (especially the squad that didn't make it to chapter 5) or too ashamed to speak to her face to face. So they hit it off really well. I imagine that Sonia and Gundam were THE remnant powercouple. So Sonia would feel really nervous that Gundam just wants to forget about her due to what they did together. Chiaki finally manages to get them to just... talk it all out, and eventually she gets integrated into the polycule.

Its a very specific dynamic that I don't think would work in canon. But hey, its fun!

For Ougoku

No bingo, but I'm still obsessed with their ship dynamic. Kokichi haters will demonize Kokichi and claim he did not care about Gonta in the slightest despite the fact that he literally tried to pull a Taka. I'm so upset about what the fandom did to Gonta. I love him, but he isn't as perfect as some of you think he is! (The ironic bit is that the fandom treats him exactly how Himiko and Tsumugi treat him, which ended in getting him killed.) I also feel like the translation team really let us down by choosing to translate Gonta's speaking in 3rd person quirk and NOT Tenkos. Tenko's a comic relief character most of the time, but the whole point of Gonta was that everyone unfairly doubting his intelligence causes him to be despate to prove himself.

Due to 'Murician cultural context, he appears less cute and more stupid then he was likely meant to come across.

All in all, I feel like most people read the ship in really bad faith, which is sad, because its a really tragic story. Which means its exactly to my fucked up little tastes!
