silly stuff has been happening insys and it's made me curious. reblog and put in the tags what your weirdest/funniest fictive relationship is (bonus points if it's cross-source and/or a polycule) because its genuinely really funny to us

things we experience in our system that makes us feel like we're faking a little bit (but are entirely normal)
having mostly (like, REALLY mostly) introjects
splitting really quickly after watching a show/movie (etc)
seemingly splitting with no reason at all
having access to "too much memory" (i dont)
not having memory holders, gatekeepers, protectors, prosecutors, etc.
adding on to that last one, most of our alters dont have any traditional 'role' at all. sometimes theyre just chilling
(these days) having to force every switch since im totally frontstuck
finding it difficult to stay out of front
having fragments form and then basically disappear, never really resurfacing again
switches feel almost like im not the one whos changing, its like someone else is just passing through and into me. like ive just changed from wearing pink tinted glasses to orange ones
being traumatized by source memories/exomemories
having many alters form at once (call that bigeneration? i need to write this down,)
somewhat having power over splitting??? kinda????
changing/adding sources after already being split
going weeks without hearing from other alters
sometimes 'forgetting' how to switch ??? the action becomes almost muscle memory so if i think about it too hard i can get stuck mid switch
ill add more as i think of them but. maybe you can relate to some of these

Here’s some positivity for fictive-heavy systems!
While some people might insist that a system having lots of fictives means they’re faking or invalid in some way, this is absolutely not the case! In fact, fictive-heavy systems have always been and will always be special, valued, and integral members of the plural community. So this post is for every system with lots of fictive members!
Is your system made up entirely of fictives? That’s perfectly fine, and your system is valid and lovely just the way it is! It’s okay to have only fictives in your system, and your system is still a precious and important part of the plural community!
Do the fictives in your system hold important roles, regularly help take care of your system, do things like handle chores, work, or school, and play a big role in your system’s functioning overall? That’s amazing! And we’re so happy to hear the fictives in your system are so able and willing to help out - their efforts are recognized and so very appreciated!
Whether your system’s fictives love their sources and are very connected to them, don’t want anything to do with their sources and are separating from them, feel indifferent to their sources, or anything else, remember there’s no wrong way to think or feel about your source! As long as your system’s fictives are staying safe and happy, it’s okay for them to identify as they wish! It’s not “cringe” to be a fictive and also be fictionkin, to have your source as your special interest/hyperfixation, or to want to engage in your source actively!
It’s okay if your system’s fictives are often lost and confused, if they struggle to determine exomemories from real memories, or feel disconnected from themselves because they’re in the real world and not their source! It’s okay if your system’s fictives don’t have any exomemories, or feel like they firmly belong in the real world without sharing any connections to their source! There’s no wrong way to be a headmate or a fictive, and their experiences are real, valid, and important just the way they are!
We hope all you fictive-heavy systems can find peace, joy, belonging, and self-acceptance today and every day! Know that you are so special and important, and you are a cherished part of the plural community just the way you are! We hope you can continue to make the most of life and find pleasure in the mundane and camaraderie with the rest of your headmates! Remember we care about you, we’re rooting for you, and we’re wishing you the very best in all that you do! Thanks so much for reading, and take care!

Alt flag for problematic factives
[PT: Alt flag for problematic factives /END PT]
Inspired by the first problematic factives flag made by @problematicfactive
Tumblr media
[IMAGE ID: The image features an abstract geometric composition with a central black rectangle containing a bicolor yellow circle. This square is enclosed in a surrounding border, with the gold circle. The background which is composed of the retangles border mentioned above is segmented into four distinct quadrants, each displaying a different color; dark maroon on the top left, dark purple on the top right, dark blue on the bottom right, and dark magenta on the bottom left. /END ID]
It has the same meaning they applied to the flag, just other design and more darker colors.

This comes from me and a BUNCH of other fictives from our system
A lot of us chose to identify/take on the identity of a fictional character. Some did it because it was easier, some just because we related to the character so much/saw ourselves in them and some just liked the design of the character. Our system might be "introject heavy" but a lot of us are just this.. lot of us existed before and as we returned we thought it'd be easier to present as something the system is already familiar with (ie a fictional character from our favorite game) rather than a complete stranger
(just some thoughts) -🐧
