Alt flag for problematic factives
[PT: Alt flag for problematic factives /END PT]
Inspired by the first problematic factives flag made by @problematicfactive
Tumblr media
[IMAGE ID: The image features an abstract geometric composition with a central black rectangle containing a bicolor yellow circle. This square is enclosed in a surrounding border, with the gold circle. The background which is composed of the retangles border mentioned above is segmented into four distinct quadrants, each displaying a different color; dark maroon on the top left, dark purple on the top right, dark blue on the bottom right, and dark magenta on the bottom left. /END ID]
It has the same meaning they applied to the flag, just other design and more darker colors.

Hey, does your blog support factkin? We're plural and questioning factkin which kinda mixes together in a fun way, but we're unsure if this is the place for it
Yeah, sure, you're welcome here. Why not, right?

Oh btw if you say you support introjects but are weird about factives of bad people you actually don't support introjects thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Edit from Jonathon: I can't believe I have to add this, but this post was made by a mixed origins system and is NOT intended for anti-endos. Supporting systems means supporting all systems, I would think that should be obvious.
Edit #2 from Cloud: we are anti transid and VERY anti contact for harmful paras, RQs please stop interacting with this post, it's not for you.

Source Memories and Trauma
There's a lot of things that tend to come up about the source memories of alterhumans. Fictives, fictionkin, factives and anyone else with memories of another place or time are common in the community, and they can all have differing opinions on if those memories "actually happened". The thing is, some people tend to contest those memories as being entirely "made up" and dismiss any benefits or issues that might come from them, even going so far sometimes as to accuse those who have exotrauma of faking, being insensitive or ableist.
It's important to acknowledge that whether you, your system (if you have one) or any others around you believe your source memories to be spiritual in origin or psychological or anything else, they're still memories that can affect you and should be treated the same as any other memory you have of the current physical world. It doesn't matter if the memories are good or bad, spiritual or psychological, what matters is that you feel things as a result of them and that isn't something to be dismissed.
Things from your memories might not be "real" in the sense of physically happening here or even anywhere depending on your beliefs, but that does not matter because they can still very much affect you. You have these memories of things from elsewhere or another time or body and they are real to you because you remember the feeling of going through them. You remember, regardless of "true reality", those things in your memories and so, you react in apropriate ways. Maybe you had something nice happen in source so you remember things associated with that event fondly even here. Maybe you had something bad happen in source so you instinctively avoid things related to it here. Even without realising, your memories are your experiences and they can affect many things. Your experience shouldn't be downplayed just because they aren't proveable to have physically happened.
If memories need to be "real and physical" to count toward being something you should respect, what about people with psychosis? We're fortunate enough to not experience horrible hallucinations very often but we do get them and they're terrible when they want to be. Hallucinations are decidedly not real in the sense that they aren't physical, but you still live through it and deal with it. And sometimes, you can get traumatised from it. Hallucinations and delusions can be absolutely debilitating and if source memories are a psychological phenomenon too, then they really aren't all that different in how they can affect people. That's not to say that source memories can't be spiritual either--If your memories are spiritual, you literally did experience them. They are just as real to your experiences as any other, regardless of "actual" origin.
Plenty of traumagenic systems have introjects with source memories that mirror their own body's trauma but it's not always exact. Are those memories also to be dismissed because it's not the real deal? What about trauma from inside a headspace itself? For some systems, headspaces aren't as physical as the outerworld and for some, no harm can happen in them. However, there's a lot of issues that can come up in headspaces or within systems in general that are entirely abusive--is that real enough to not be shoved aside or harrassed over?
Memories are messy and the fact that source memories are so often downplayed or dismissed is upsetting. People have gotten angry at and harrassed others over experienceing exotrauma just because they simply have it. In the past, we've gotten our spaces online raided and had images posted to cringe subreddits simply because we and others described exotraumatic experiences. It's not just the subreddits of course, there's been plenty of personal experiences in the plural community itself we've had that follow the trend--and we're not alone. Every so often a post shows up talking about how people with exotrauma are ableist, lying, attention-seeking or insensitive for daring to say they have exotrauma. It's a recurring thing we see on and off and it's always as sadenning as it has been.
People who are affected by their source memories deserve to be able to find coping skills and find others who have similar experiences. You shouldn't have to wonder if you'll be taken seriously for your exotrauma. You should be allowed to take the time to heal just as anyone else would. It doesn't matter if you have exotrauma, this-world trauma or no trauma at all, everyone should be allowed to talk about their experiences and get whatever help they need for themselves. It's that simple.

Words You Can't Use (According to Language Police)
System: System is a medical term that only applies to DID systems and can only be used by them. Ignore Internal Family Systems therapy, or top DID specialists referring to some voices in psychotic disorders as parts of a system. Only dissociative disorders!
Multiple: This came from the multiplicity community, and the only way to be multiple is to have a dissociative disorder. (No! Don't look at the boundary with normality in the ICD-11)
Plural: This means the same thing as multiple. Still can't use it.
Alter: A medical term that only applies to DID systems.
Headmate: Means the same thing as alter, and you can't have a headmate unless you have DID. But also, DID systems can't use this because it's not a medical term. (I've seriously seen someone attacking the Plural Association for using the word headmate instead of alter. Oh, wait. That was the same system claiming endogenic is offensive. That tracks!)
Introject: This is a medical term with a specific meaning that can only apply to DID systems. It's not like introjection is a common psychological process, and any headmate created through introjection would logically be considered an introject.
Fictive and factive: Non-traumagenic systems can't use this because it means the same thing as introject and non-traumagenic systems can't have introjects. But also, traumagenic systems can't use it because it was coined by endogenic systems.
Tulpa: You can't use this because its etymology is derived from another language, and anything with a foreign origin is apparently appropriation.
Thoughtform: This is also related to the tulpa, and you can't use it either. Try something more invalidating like "imaginary friend."
Imagian plural: Psych! Actually, we decided that if you identify your headmate as imaginary friend but call yourself plural, you're comparing alters to imaginary friends which is super ableist.
Spiritual plural: We also decided that literally every culture that ever experienced nonpathological possession states is closed, and identifying any of your headmates as being spiritual is racist. We don't know who it's racist against, but it's against someone. Trust us.
Sysmed: This uses the same suffix as transmeds, and It's actually transphobic for transgender systems to compare how a hate group has harmed them through an ideology that pathologizes all transness to how another has harmed them through an ideology that pathologizes all multiplicity. It's the same way it would be homophobic for other groups to use the "phobic" suffix. Oh... wait...
Natural: By calling something natural, you're inherently calling everyone else's experiences unnatural, which sounds bad. Why do you think disabled people are unnatural? Don't think about the fact that nature in psychology generally refers to genetics and the more common opposite in this context would be more akin to "environmental."
Endogenic: Well.... umm... you see... it sounds kind of like iatrogenic... or maybe endogenous... and endogenous is a common word used to refer to something internal... and there was some debate about whether DID was endogenous or exogenous... so that's why other groups can't use the word, and using the word makes you ableist? And... umm... Freud?
It's funny how anti-endos keep insisting that literally every word is harmful, and demand we take their assertions super seriously when they claim that all they want is for us to change the language we use.
If you still think this language discourse is legitimate and in good faith, you haven't been paying attention.
If anti-endos feel we're not taking their criticisms seriously... it's because we're not.
It's because when every term is treated as contentious, it becomes obvious that you don't care about language as much you care about using attacks on language to silence speech.
I have said for a while that the attacks on terms like "tulpa" and others aren't in good faith. That we would be attacked no matter what terms we use because anti-endos hate us for what we are, and only target our language as an excuse to spread hate against us.
I have said for a while that nothing would satisfy them.
I sincerely hope that most people watching these latest attacks play out can see the truth in this now.
The endogenic and plural community is done apologizing for our existence, and we're done apologizing for the language we use.

Why I love the Epsilon System (RvB)
Tumblr media
I think the epsilon system from the series Red vs Blue is one of the greatest representations of Dissociative Identify Disorder in fiction (Spoliers for the show below). While obviously brought into science fiction, this is a fairly accurate representation of DID despite the fact that I'm not sure the creators did much research into the topic. So church or, the alpha, an ai based off the Director's mind, was tortured until he fractured. These fragments were then harvested by the director so he could have more than one AI unit.
So let's get the inaccuracies out of the way. The show seems to believe there is "the original" and that it is the alpha. The alpha is also as far as I know, an already fully developed mind. With actual DID, it only occurs in childhood as a result of trauma not letting the brain fully form into one cohesive self. So the parts of the brain essentially become more distinct. Honestly however I can see it being argued that the alpha is simply supposed to be the host, and that ai minds are different than human minds. Also Washington calls the disorder an outdated term that stopped being used a decade before the episode came out.
Okay that's it. Almost everything else is surprisingly accurate and now I get to gush about it! First of all, the fact that the entire thing happened because of the trauma the alpha endured is so amazingly accurate and ties both into the representation and the plot in an incredibly satisfying way. The ai fragments themselves are also quite accurate to the roles of DID alters, there is:
- A host, or an alter that is mainly out and in charge (Alpha)
- a factive, or an alter based on a real person (Beta)
- a persecutor, or an alter who attempts to harm the system in a misguided attempt at protection (I'd argue sigma, gamma, and omega)
- A little, or an alter that looks and acts like a child (Theta)
- A trauma holder, or an alter that holds some traumatic memories so the rest don't need to (epsilon)
- A protector, or an alter who keeps the system safe from harm (I'd argue delta)
On top of this beta and theta also represent alters of a different gender and age than the host respectively. And even something like alters dating can be seen through alpha and beta.
When talking with a friend about this he pointed out that eta represents fear and iota represents happiness. With that in mind and the fact we rarely see them, I believe they could act as internal caretakers by helping support the system. With eta supporting because they fear something bad might happen, and iota supporting because they want to spread happiness.
I also believe that both gamma and omega could, with more time, become reformed persecutors with them using their strengths to help the system rather than hinder it in their own way of helping. We already see this with epsilon relying on gamma occasionally when performing tasks. Omega has mostly been cartoonishly evil throughout the series and I think epsilon learning to accept and control omegas rage instead of holding it all back until he snaps would benefit the system.
Most of what we see of what the alpha system could've been if no fragments were taken is shown after all fragments but epsilon was destroyed in an emp blast. Epsilon uses his and the other fragments memories to create memory versions of them, acting just like them and letting them live on.
I love this because in most systems, there is a reason alters exist and they have a purpose that helps the system function in daily life. Epsilon while amazing, is much stronger when he has everyone else with him. He understood that this is what the alpha system should've been, and if he wants to do everything he can, having the other fragments with him is the best way to do it.
I have more to say, but I think I pretty much covered it. Epsilon-church and the other fragments are very well written and I can only hope we get a satisfying conclusion to their story in the next season. I'll also probably make a "why theta is the best ever of all time" post at some point too!

Here’s some positivity for introjects of police officers!
Introjects often form for a reason, and many do not get to choose their source. Discovering that your source is an authority figure or member of law enforcement can be a scary, frustrating, or overwhelming experience! However, introjects are not their sources, and it is possible to live a full and happy life as an introject of a police officer without holding onto the beliefs or moral values of your source. This post goes out to any introject of a police officer out there!
Shoutout to police fictives who formed due to their system’s special interest or hyperfixation!
Shoutout to police introjects who have been traumatized by police officers or other law enforcement!
Shoutout to introjects of police officers who are trying to source separate or distance themselves from their sources for their own comfort and well-being!
Shoutout to introjects of police who are leftists, anarchists, and police abolitionists!
Shoutout to those who are factives of police officers their own system knows or has interacted with in real life!
Shoutout to police introjects who are working to let go of harmful beliefs held by their source!
Shoutout to introjects whose sources are not technically police, but are still a part of the law enforcement system (i.e. detectives, federal agents, prosecutors, etc.)!
Shoutout to police introjects who educate others about safe alternatives to calling the police in emergency situations!
Shoutout to police introjects who are afraid to reveal their source to others due to how they could potentially be perceived!
To any introject of a police officer out there, we want to remind you that the occupation of your source does not define you in any way, and you are so much more than the job that was held by your source! You matter, your ideas matter, and you deserve respect, healing, and peace as you come to terms with who your source is and how that affects you. While it may certainly be painful, frightening, or uncomfortable to learn your source is a police officer, we genuinely hope that you will be able to find happiness and a positive purpose in your life. Please do your best to take care of yourself and your system, and have a great day!

Human & Vampire MD AU concept
Tws: childhood trauma, mention (no description of) child abuse, siblings being separated / taken away from parents, parental death
Disclaimer: I'm a System myself, so any talk about DID/OSDD1 here is based off my experiences and adjusted to fit a fantasy setting. This may not match everyone's experience with being a System and I'm sorry if it doesn't match yours or you don't feel it's accurate enough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, so my Take on a Human/Vampire AU right?
N & Cyn:
N and Cyn are biological siblings. Their birth parents were not good to them. Cyn (not her name at this point) does develop DID because of this as a young child.
A conflict happens in the family and N gets separated from his sister. They lose contact. N has always been her safe person and safe space, so this experience is extremely stressful and traumatizing. This results in the system splitting a factive Introject of him. "N"s job in the system is to take care of the body physically and emotionally when need be and to be a comfort to the other alters (Caretaker/Caregiver/Soother, Emotional Protector). Aside from "N" there already were two other alters before him.
C & Y.
C is a Protector/Avenger and Gatekeeper, she typically deals with conflict and arguments and is more outspoken about things. However, if a situation requires them to seek a hiding spot for safety she will opt for that as well.
Y is a trauma Holder and little who is stuck at the time of the trauma, meaning they don't age up and are forever the age range the body was during the trauma / when the trauma started.
Throughout the next 1-2 years there are two more fully formed alters (the system probably has fragments that aren't as developed too, but I'll only touch on the alters that matter for the AU story).
Cyn & Solver.
Cyn picks her name based on the three alters already existing, She is the new host of the system (prior there wasn't a clear host). Cyns Identity also is what the system uses as their "Singletsona".
Later on the body gets infected with the vampire virus. How I still need to settle on, but I am tempted to make the parents neglect and abuse part of the cause.
The process of turning is painful and traumatic, and Solver splits. In the headspace, Solver takes the form of the body as a vampire.
Solver is a Persecutor (under the definition misguided protector - harming the system and its surroundings as a form of protection).
They and "N" tend to co front for making sure the body feeds, "N" because it's part of his Caretaker job to make sure they eat and drink & Solver bc they're the only alter comfortable with the whole Vampire situation.
Eventually Cyn finally gets taken away from her abusive parents and the system ends up in an orphanage.
Here they socially officially change their name to "Cyn", wanting to separate themselves from their past life and self. The only thing they don't want to forget is N, and they haven't heard from him since they were separated.
Until one day the Elliot Family comes to the Orphanage - or well, the parents and two of their kids. Tessa and their adopted son.
Said Son and Cyn make eye contact and recognize each other as N & his little sister. N pulls his adoptive parents aside and points to Cyn, telling them that he's pretty sure that's his little sister.
After some confirmation, both between the siblings and also with official documents, the family adopts Cyn as well, reuniting the siblings!
It seems fine until the vampire situation becomes an issue. The family doesn't know. The secret and whole vampire thing in general puts stress on the system.
Solver fronts to feed, and ends up feeding off and infecting N and V. Another night it happens again with J. (Harming the body as a form of protection in this case; making the system feel more ashamed and guilty about the vampire situation to be sure they won't tell someone who could actually hurt them.)
N, V and J after turning make sure to keep Cyn fed so Tessa and the parents never get turned.
Also technically Cyn isnt aware of the system beyond thinking the alters are "imaginary friends". Mainly bc many systems dont figure it out until they are much older so I feel making a kid aware of it would be a little inaccurate. Not saying it never happens but still.
N does take note that Cyn sometimes acts "off" but puts it down as not having seen her in 2-3 years and her probably having experienced more trauma since, not to mention the vampire situation once he learns of that.
Uzi:
Uzi lives with her single father Khan. Her mother died when she was really young for reasons Uzi doesn't know of.
Nori was a vampire, however Uzi doesn't know this. Uzi did inherit the virus but it is dormant and inactive.
Uzi is kind of an outcast at school, bullying and all, ever since she can remember. The only person who doesn't really judge her is Thad who hangs out with her sometimes.
This changed when the Elliots adopted N and he switched schools, joining Uzis class. His friendly demeanor causes him to actively try to befriend Uzi, even tho she's more than happy just hanging out with Thad occasionally. Over time however N manages to worm his way into her heart and they become friends and she starts helping him with math homework.
(V, J and Tessa attend the same school but are in parallel classes btw)
They're friends for about 1,5 - 2 years when the whole Cyn reunion and vampire infection happens.
How Uzi finds out about this is still on the table but oh well. Also, Uzis own vampirism becomes active, turning her too. Now here is two ways I can't decide between this could have happened.
N has told her about having turned a vampire, due to suddenly avoiding places with lots of sunlight and preferring evening hangouts and sleepovers over their typical day/afternoon hangouts. Also he stinks of sunscreen lol. --- one time, N desperately needs to feed but they're in a situation where he cannot do it (be it they are at school or on a trip or whatever - he cannot go away to try and find some wild animal to feed off of) so Uzi offers him that he can gave some of her blood. He hesitates, not wanting to hurt her. She insists because he's visibly not okay and she trusts him. He promises he won't turn her (as vampires can choose whether or not to inject the virus into their prey) and they get a quiet corner for him to feed off her. Everything seems fine until the following days Uzi has symptoms of turning. N had kept his promise, but being bitten awakened her own dormant virus. She doesn't know this tho and accuses N of lying to her and purposely turning her. They argue and their friendship takes a huge hit. Uzi turns to V and J instead of him to ask about what to do and how to keep herself fed and relies on V for help on her first few nightly escapes to hunt. Uzi would shut her down whenever she brings up how guilty N feels and how he misses her. She's mad at him until eventually finding out about her mother being a vampire (still deciding how) and then realizing it's not his fault. She feels guilty for blaming him and thinking he would break her trust and she then does everything in her power to make it up to him. He's upset she would think he's lying and genuinely believe that for so long, but he's happy to have her back.
Option 2 is Uzi and one of the vampire siblings both being hurt. They patch each other up and Uzi notices their blood being black (a vamp hc ive had since I was a teen lol) and asks about it, finding out about the situation. However during the patching up of wounds, some of the black blood enters her wound which activates her own vampire virus.
One option for this is that Uzi hurt herself prior to helping N watch Cyn and Cyn gets hurt whilst N isn't in the room. Uzi helps her and in the process Cyns blood gets into Uzis injury.
[ I am open for situation suggestions with N, V and maybe J ]
J & V:
Dont have a lot about them except that J was adopted first, she's a little older than Tessa even. V was adopted alongside N from where they were in the same orphanage.
J doesn't like Uzi when N starts hanging out with her. V does somewhat get along with her tho and helps Uzi when her own Vampirism activates.
Tessa:
Tessa is unaware of her siblings vampirism for the most part. She did notice them seemingly eating less though and is a little worried about that, she makes them snacks she knows they like to try and make sure they eat enough.
I feel if anyone were to tell her, it would be N. And he wouldn't tell that it's all of them. Only him and maybe Cyn, as he can pass that off as "well we ARE biological siblings after all".
Idk that's all I got for now.
Also Nori was either
killed by Khan after he found out she's a vampire
Died due to extended exposure to sunlight
Killed by vampire hunters
Majorly injured by hunters or the sun so Khan had to take her out of her miserly
:(
Problematic source? No problem!
Are you an introject with a source you're not too fond of? Are you doubting your validity? Secretive about what you're based on? You've come to the right place, my loves.
Brains are funny things. You see, for a lot of systems out there, especially in CDD's, you can't control what your source is. Your mind will latch onto something for seemingly no reason sometimes, and you end up with a headmate that's formed for any number of reasons ranging from "we need someone like that!" to "this person is a representation of something on a deeper level'.
So. With that being said, shoutout to system members who are:
From problematic or controversial media, such as Hazbin Hotel or Danganronpa
Sourced from real life people harmful people, like an abuser
Factives of those who did horrible things; for example, serial killers or dictators
Trying their best to source separate
The ones who prefer to keep their source to themselves
Etc.
Coming from a system who has introjects from media we haven't even seen, being an introject certainly does not define who you are. It doesn't define who you "should" be, it doesn't control your actions, it doesn't even have to mean anything at all if you don't want it to. Sources are where you come from, not what'll predict the future.
Anyways! We hope you have a wonderful day, introjects!
🖤💜💙💚💛
This is not originally my post, it had a very good message, but ignored factives. I am reposting it with the support aimed at factives
I love you factives with problematic or hated sources. I love you factives that're terrified of showing up and existing around others because of terrible things that your sourceselves, source familes, or the people you were based on have done. I love you whether or not the hate toward that identity is justified because you're not your exact source. You're real. I love you factives that desperately try to explain yourselves and your situation because it was so different from the inside and you're trying so hard to be better. I love you factives whose identity and experiences still mean a lot to you, and you're working every single day to balance that with the reality of the knowledge that what your source did was harmful.
You're real. You're people. Your existence is not inherently terrible or amoral- only you decide your impact on this world.
Today's a good day to remember that engaging with one's source or counterpart does NOT make you less of a factive!
Factives do not have to distance themselves from their source/counterpart. They don't have to change their name, hide everything about themselves, or forget their entire past/parallel lives if they don't want to or can't.
Moving on from their source and being a post-factive makes some people happy and heal, but if it isn't for you, you do not have to do that. Your way of existing, coping, and doing things does not have to follow the common narrative.
Some factives are day-trippers who are still living their other lives. Trying to be a post-factive in that case can be harmful, or even impossible. Other factives cannot or doesn't want to disengage with their source because they (or their systemmates) enjoy their source (or the source's works). In this case, why would you cut off something/someone that makes you(&) happy? Either, both, or any other reason, does not make you less of a factive.
Engaging with your source or counterpart does not suddenly make your existence unhealthy. It also does not make your identity harmful - even if you do it to make yourself be more like the source.
(Or, more like yourself! I know fiction-folks and nonhumans who engage with source or species images/writings to make themselves feel euphoric and more Them. Factives are also allowed to do so. Factives should not be judged for wanting to feel euphoric in their fact-identity!)
And yes, they are still their own person and an alternate version of the counterpart! They do not have to only choose one.
oooh can i see your system dabi hcs?
I've got a number of these. I think I've made hcs posts about this before but I can't find them to link, so, I'll just make another
He's poly-fragmented, for sure. His entire life has been thrown from one traumatic event to another with zero support system or positive coping mechanisms, so he probably splits very easily and has a high alter count.
I also usually go with the hc that he has very high amnesia walls, so a lot of his life he doesn't remember very well or his memory is very warped.
Alters having differing views on things like beliefs, his trauma, abuse, revenge plans. So a lotta inner conflict.
A lotta childhood trauma, so probably a lot of littles
Stand by my hc that Touya (the Touya during the reveal) is a child alter, especially because of the dancing, excitement, some of his word choices, all very childish/young sounding. So i really think Touya himself is a little, but he's also probably a trauma holder, and programmed, so he's screwed up himself
(Ramoca trigger warnings for these next few bullet points) I usually go with the idea that he's a programmed system, so a lot of his alters are more "harmful than helpful" to his system as a whole because, unlike non-programmed systems, his system wasn't formed to benefit him, it was formed for the benefit of others. So, like, he has a lot of Ips, number alters, nameless, dehumanized/non human alters, and alters with programmed responses.
I usually hc it's mostly beta (sexual) programming since i usually couple it with the hcs that Enji sexually abused him and that he was trafficked in childhood by his parents as well as Afo's facility stuff. A lotta that is, like, accepting and even purposely seeking out sexual abuse from others, being desensitized to sexual violence, running on an "autopilot" during sexual situations, having consent issues and such. This is a blink and you could miss it hc in several fics I have, but I know Flicker i went more in depth with it.
Innerworld is very sectioned off, lots of isolated alters and restricted areas, as well as a lot of alters that are mostly internal (don't front a whole lot.)
I could see him having factives, especially factives of people who had an impact on him (his Father, for example)
Usually couple the DiD hc with depersonalization disorder too, and having a disconnect to his body/not seeing it as his.
Definitely think the "Dabi" alter was split sort of as a protector alter but developed persecutor traits, especially just based on how Touya acts as Dabi, he's very guarded and such but also pretty self-destructive.
A lot of alters split while on the street to help him get by/survive. Could def see Dabi developing as an alter while he was homeless, and probably hosting during that time.
Could you talk about endo systems with introjects of harmful irl people, I didn't purposefully do it, it just happened. Plurality is not talked about in my country so I only know that I'm plural since last year, but anyway please make a post about introjects of criminals, all posts that I found are from DID OSDD systems. Your posts are well-made and full of information, it would help a lot to see your perspective on it
I don't really know what to say to be honest. I don't have a lot of information on factives personally.
But I do people to understand that most systems, even endogenic ones, don't often choose who they introject.
This is also true even of many created systems. There's a phenomenon I noticed in the tulpamancy community where, after making their first tulpas, the brains of many tulpamancy systems sort of opened up and they became open to these sorts of involuntary introjects as well as other involuntary headmates. It's like the initial plurality primed them to be more open to other forms of plurality.
And I do wish that this is something more people would talk about, because it does feel like there's a misconception among parts of the system community that endogenic systems can't have headmates with problematic sources too
