 Okay,you admit that maybe it wasn’t the smartest thing to go as hard as you did lastnight with the amount of alcohol that you did. But what can you say? It hadbeen a long long long time since you were last able to really let go andjust have fun. Being an adult wasn’t easy, much less when you startedworking over forty hours a week just to make a barely livable lifestyle.

Alright,maybe that was an exaggeration. You weren’t scrapping by to get through with adecent life, but things could definitely be going better for you.

Sowhen Minhyuk had told you about a free vacation to his family’s vacation homeout on Jeju, you were immediately sold and fought tooth and nail to be able toget two weeks off just for the trip. God knew you absolutely needed it afterthe hell of year you had gone through with your ugly break up after finding outyour ex had been cheating on you with one of your “good” friends.

Theonly thing you hadn’t been aware of when you first agreed to going on the tripwas that Lee Jooheon would be there too. Which Minhyuk’s swears up and downthat he had told you for sure. But after an intensive dig through your chathistory, you were able to prove to him that he most definitely didn’t tell you.In which, he simply rebuked with stating he probably told you over phone.

Theissue with Minhyuk’s inability to tell you this information?

Youhad always sort of had a crush on Jooheon. It was dumb. Simply a eye-candytype of thing. At least that’s what you thought until Minhyuk had told you onerandom night – years ago – that Jooheon had thought you were hot. And eversince then, you had never had the guts to really act normal around Jooheon.There was no way considering you thought he was completely out of your league.And just because he thought you were hot didn’t exactly mean he would ever beinterested in you in that way right?

Wellthat’s what you had thought. Because the night prior would have suggested alot of things you never would have imagined. The only thing is, you weren’tsure if you were remembering anything correctly considering how blacked out yougot. In fact, you couldn’t even remember how you got to bed and were just gladto know you had made it through the night without ending up in a pile of yourown vomit – as an example of how bad you would’ve expected things to turn outafter waking up with the hangover that was as massive as it was.

Everypart of your body, muscles, joints and internal organs scream inabsolute agony when you finally push yourself out of bed that morning. Youwanted nothing more than to just fall into another deep sleep and wake up afteryour hangover had passed. But alas, your stomach was churning for food and thepain was too much for you to continue ignoring.

Youdon’t realize that you’re completely nude until you’re stepping out of bed andthe cool air filtering through the room hits your bare skin, sending goosebumpsacross every surface. Immediately you spot your panties and bra at the end ofthe bed and hurriedly pull them on. Then your eyes scan the rest of the room,seeing the state of mess it was in and a blush creeps onto your cheeks. It wasdefinitely a wild night.

Forsome reason, you’re unable to find any trace of your clothes and settle for thenext best thing. A plain white t-shirt that lies on the ground close to yourfeet and quickly pull it on. The hem of the shirt falls just past yourfingertips, barely covering your panties underneath but it’ll have to sufficeuntil you can actually find your own clothes to wear.

Onceyou feel decent enough, you quietly creep into the hallway before making yourway into the kitchen. The house is deadly silent and you assume that everyoneelse is still sleeping after passing some loud snoring in the room across fromthe one you had woken up in. Everyone was probably scattered somewhererecovering as much as their sleep would let them.

Inthe kitchen, you go straight to the fridge. It takes you a moment to scan itscontents before you decide on a bottle of cold water first, wedged into the backbehind all the bottles of soju that are triggering your gag reflex just at thesight of them.

Witha grimace, you lean over and snatch the bottle quickly before closing thefridge door with a small thud. You twist the cap off with one quick snap and getready to take a sip when-

“Isthat my shirt?”

Astarted ‘eep’ escapes your lips before you turn around to meet a shirtlessJooheon watching you from across the countertop. In your panic, you miss the amusedlook in his eyes as he stands there in nothing but his sweatpants, your ownlooking anywhere but him to avoid doing something to embarrass yourselffurther.

“I-I-um…”You stutter completely unsure. You hadn’t even considered that the shirt mightbe his when you had picked it up. But with the prospect of it being hissuddenly in the air… that meant a lot of things considering it was layingon the floor of the room that you had woke up in naked.

“Itlooks good on you,” Jooheon simply smirks before he comes towards you, steppingaround you as he pulls the fridge door open and grabs a bottle of water forhimself.

You’refrozen like a deer in headlights throughout the entire interaction, even whenJooheon finally steps back and gives you back some breathing space.

Yourmind only catches up to exactly what’s happening once he twists the cap backonto his bottle and he looks directly at you with a sly smile.

“Maybeyou’ll let me take that off later, just like last night.”

i feel like not enough ppl are factoring in the cultural clash between laios and shuro and the many micro agressions shuro faced while being in their group. literally the name 'shuro' in itself is one

his name is toshiro 😭 lets also not forget that he has his own communication issues, in the opposite way that laios does- thats literally a factor in their argument, that his envy for laios's ability to express himself sincerely manifested as part of his distaste for him.

ig all this to say like, was their fight heart wrenching, especially when reading laios as autistic? absolutely. anybody whos ever been in laios's position knows how much it hurts to realize someone you thought was your friend doesnt actually like having you around, especially when they didnt tell you and you had no way of knowing due to not understanding their cues. but im begging yall to step back and see the nuance of this situation cause im gonna be real a lot of you are kinda just brushing over it acting like everything is toshiros fault and that hes a terrible person when in reality hes an average guy who really, really clashed with laios and it led to a very long misunderstanding due to their supremely opposite methods of communication. even laios and toshiro, after letting everything out in their fight, were able to come to an understanding and start a foundation for an actual friendship built on better communication

ok yknow what Edit: i shouldve made it even more explicit at the end of this post, i hadnt thought i would need to since i started the post with this, but i think a few too many people are missing my point so i just wanna clarify. i shouldnt have said 'really clashed' and left it at that because yeah they did, but it wasnt just their opposite methods of communication, it is also very much that toshiro was experiencing microaggressions via laios. it may have been unintentional on laios's part, but it still happened and wore him down, made it harder for him to communicate on top of both the more subtle social cues that he was raised with and his own communication difficulties. i also want to say that the fandom reaction to toshiro and the complete ignorance of this point is also racist tbh or at the very least ignorant. i understand that the anime did not cover this panel, and neither did the manga, as this was an omake, but im gonna be real with you guys. there are enough context clues within the story to clue you into this. if you didnt pick up on it thats ok, but i think this is a good lesson in picking up subtext in the stories that youre watching and/or reading. kui shouldnt have to explicitly say 'by the way laios was racist to toshiro' for this point to be understood, and at the very least, when the author portrays a character in a sympathetic light (as kui clearly does) it should make you question Why they are doing so and what makes them sympathetic, rather than youre immediate and only reaction to be 'well i hated what this guy did/said so i hate them and they suck'. idk exactly how to finish this, just. idk. question your biases and gut reactions to things you see in media and stories, and think about whether or not theres subtext that youre missing.

my brain is saying 141 with a reader that sees dead people. like they notice how respectful she is to the dead. when she kills she moves the bodies, sometimes says a small prayer to herself. they see her looking at things that aren’t there. “Did you see that? Never mind.” or she mentions she feels something weird in the air, or something wrong. talks to the team about the sleep paralysis she gets, always leaving out the grayish dark figure that accompanies her on those nights.

She’s never told anyone until she got drunk enough to were she’s literally laughing saying

“oh yea i see dead people.” And the guys obv think she’s joking and egg her on about said dead people she sees. but then she tells them about the entities that follow them, the people they’ve killed, always following them around. some are very angry, she feels their malicious intentions. ends up describing them in grave detail, they way they looked, what they wore, the last words they spoke before her teammates pulled the trigger. Something that only THEY would know.

“oh man, let me tell you about Gilbert my sleep paralysis demon. I swear he’s been visiting me more and more recently.”
