Kieranpon au is an au that's basically what if Kieran WAS ogerpon. The general idea being ogerpon wished to be human and poof, Kieran exists. Most people who do the au go with dippplin/candyapple shipping for him, but I was wondering how you'd interpret it with dragoncheer shipping. I mean, Drayton already deals with rambunctious dragon types. Why not make him also have a rambunctious legendary who can and will bite who just happens to be his boyfriend.

Hmmm I suppose I can't see those two as same character, due to them being too different as well as, how to put it, it would shift Kieran's character away from his main motivator before DLC happened so I can't even say how he would behave, develop even... Ogerpon also is completely separate from Kieran, in opposite way - she literally doesn't care, as she can't understand that he is driven by her and how much he did for her (and against her as well)... I just can't quite wrap my head around the concept... It does make for a cute visual I suppose. Maybe some sort of fusion...

As for how Drayton would react, it's something I mentioned before but I deeply headcanon that Drayton knows a bit of lore (due to Opelucid City background, Kyurem tied to it as well as seeing Plasma happen) but he has an opposite approach to legendaries in comparison to Kieran. I think he would be creeped the hell out of hearing Kieran talk about Ogerpon the way he does, a murderous creature living in the nountains being cool, how he would go there as a child to have a peek. Drayton once maybe did peek similar way, and he still regrets it.

So the thought of Kieran being in some way fused with Ogerpon... I can't imagine this scenario being cute in any way. I'm not sure if Drayton would run the fuck away, or actually put in effort to tackle the problem. And how he would do that.

so update on the project

i figured it'd make me more happy and feel more fulfilled if i had a small checklist of all the elements that i've cut and assembled! :)

unfortunately, after proudly putting a check mark after "shoulder seams" and "neck gussets" i realized that i was not, in fact, happy with the fucking neck gussets (very bulky + the fabric attached to them was buckling and it did NOT look good), so i unpicked them and tried to sew them again, except they're still wrong because the shoulder seams aren't right (fucking counterhems), so i had to unpick essentially everything that i'd done except for the hem at the T slit (neck opening, essentially) and then i also had to go and iron everything again because they looked like fucking rags over there. so i had to start from scratch except now the seam allowance looks like shit :)

on the bright side, i just finished sewing the shoulder seams and the gussets in a different way and it looks so much better than it did before, so it was worth doing it in the end

#still not happy to have wasted so much time #and energy #but what can you do? #look i studied how to make 'armpit' gussets and then the neck gussets are what really threw me off #also on the bright side #while i was re-ironing my fabric i also ironed my collar properly and it looks very nice and crisp and rectangular #very happy about that #i also pressed the shoulder seams and they're very nice and flat now :) #now i just need to fucking figure out how to finish off the raw edges properly #i mean i know how to in theory but i need to be 100% sure bc i'm not doing that shit again
