A Struggling Artist’s Breakthrough

Art is often not about how much time you invest in a piece.

Often it is about the time invested beforehand, to get you to this level of not having to use much of the time now,

as well as knowing how you execute your vision; how well you can transfer feelings and make your audience grasp what you’re trying to say with your piece of art.

The first image contains some of my work, that is dear to me, and makes me feel accomplished, as I feel i did some solid pieces there. The socond one, contains my pieces that are best-sellers. I feel those are weaker pieces technically, although done in the same style. So basicly, even the creator can't really make a solid assesment, what piece shifts the ballance. I haven't been drawing for a week. I could draw right now, I'd even produce a drawing which I most likely will be okay with. There's just one problem - it won't mean anything. Like everything else I've lately drawn. Because I just don't get to get any meaning into my drawings. And I HATE it. I really do, but how do I get some emotion into a drawing ??? I think I'm going crazy. Well.. we'll see if I've been able to get it done - I'll let tumblr know.
