Darkner's Moonrise Sprites

I made these fake-sprites (and many others like them) SUCH LONG TIME AGO, and I NEVER ACTUALLY POSTED THEM HERE. Sooo embarassing! I use the same programm that Temmi Chang used to create the Undertale sprites (GraphicsGale) and I really really like it! Look at those boyos! I enjoyed doing these sprites a hell lot. My baby blorbos.

Darkner`s Moonrise is a Deltarune Alternative Universe and a story about sudden union of two dark worlds that are so similar but so different at the same time. This AU does not heavily based in canon of the original game and has a lot of assumptions / headcanons from its authors. This world is beautiful in its own way no matter its origin.

World of Darkners Moonrise is a world where the Darkners defeated the Light and now they are building their free future together. Gentle Moonlight doesnt hide the beauty of darkness, but also gives the stability and faith in the hearts of all darkners that their fate is in their hands.

Yeah, Ralsei is MUCH more rude in this AU. He did unlearn his people pleaser attitude and now is able to bite back.

Everyone remembers Alphys and Undyne is a thing, but everyone forgot about two most muscular and loving guards in the entire undeground!

A wonderful couple In my opinion. I am glad to see them together in Deltarune. I like that they seem to be doing well. (Of course, it is strange that RoyalGuards in Deltarune have different color than in Undertale. But I don't think it's that important.) My Headcanon is that they are married and already bought themselves a cozy house in this town and are going to adopt a child soon!

I mentally prepearing myself for my country banning any depiction of not traditional non-cis-hetero-normative people in any form. So, I, as a queer person myself, will draw as many gay/lesbian/trans/ectr shit as I can this month! Expect sweetness, tenderness, warmth, perhaps flags and a lot of love! And if my fears are not justified I will not stop my own pride gallery because I am still afraid of my life because of my sexuality in my country. I am finally am able to say that I am proud to be me.

Darkner`s Moonrise is a Deltarune Alternative Universe created by me and ADMI as a story about sudden union of two dark worlds that are so similar but so different at the same time.

This AU does not heavily based in canon of the original game and has a lot of assumptions / headcanons from its authors. This world is beautiful in its own way no matter its origin. So I hope you will enjoy learning about Darkner`s Moonrise and see it develops.

♠️ What is the world of Darkner`s Moonrise?

♠️ Noelle

Princess of the Cyber Kingdom. It's amazing how the daughter of famous overheated Mom seems to be able to cool up the hot temper with her presence. It is almost like her very being makes Queens life and therefore peasants lifes more fullfilled. Although she does not appear in public more than the minimum allowed by her Mom, but during this time she already managed to acquire the halo of a pure being out of this world.

♠️ Ace

A child born from the union of two worlds. Her mother and father had different nature of light and darkness and it reflected on her health. She is darker than any mortal living in this world. The feelings that light gives are still so alien to her. The ember that is her soul, can only wait until someone can give her a spark that bursts into storm of new emotions turning into an unrestrained little light flame.

♠️ Lance

The elder prince, the firstborn of the new Queen of Spades. Exhausted by chaos, crushed by the burden of overwhelming responsibility at such an age, betrayed by those who called themselves his friends, the young man is broken. His "uncle" Evdokim, whom he managed to trust, is now in another kingdom and keeps in touch with him only trough letters. In his own family Lance feels like a stranger. The one he called father now has other daughter and son, that remindes elder prince of his lost childhood. Will Lance find the strength accept himself and to love his new family?

♠️ Lancer

The younger prince, the son of the new King of Spades. His soul did not witness evil yet. Boy grows up in a kingdom full of hope and determination to live. There is no threat to think about. Happy careless childhood of the small Jack of Spades. And even when he grows up, he will remain small, literally. In the world of big suits, he is a small unremarcable card, especially in his "brother`s" shadow. Is there a way for him to get the attention he deserves?

♠️ Ralsei

No longer a lost and lonely prince who knows that he has all the support from his loyal and loving Spade Royal Family. Independent, full of strength and inspiration, awakened by his new love for the Dark Ones, as HIS people, HIS culture, HIS homeland, he decided to become part of the future of this world! Knowledge, that's what will be a real ray of faith and hope for every dark night: from a commoner to a king, from chess to computer matrixes. Will the dark prince make a worthy history for the dark-folk?

Deltaswap is cringe (I don`t think so)

I started drawing this lineless piece a long time ago, but I finished it only now.

On this art I drew one of my main headcanon that Lancer from Deltaswap is still the Jack of Spades. Initially he disguised himself as a club for his own safety as the son of deposed Spade King. Later Lancer began to hold a grudge against his father for 'not even trying", what led to his bias towards his own suit... He wasn't part of the legend in the first place, but he put himself in the role of the "Prince of Darkness" to feel like he had purpose and meaning in the history of his dark world. Also, he didn't think that the prophecy itself is strict to follow, but it didn't save him from stressing out about the possibility of him messing everything up.

So Lancer thinks he is more fitting on the role of the Prince from the Dark then this uneducated carefree Ralsei. He often gets jelaous when that Goat-Boy gets closer to the Lightners. Lancer is afraid to be replaced and to be useless, but he doesn't let himself get out of control because of his own thoughts and emotions.

By the way! Lancer doesn't give Susie the manual at the start of her journey. He uses his magic book himself to be able to cast spells out of his natural abilities as a card. Also Lancer truly knows a lot because he spend most of his life in the abandoned dark-castle and its librarby where the most of the ancient knowledge is contained. So he is useful in certain situation even if he is not originaly written in the Runes of Delta.

At the end of the first Chapter Lancer confesses in his lies, because for him it seemed that he was at fault for Lightners almost dying in the battle with Rouxls. But I think that heroes do not blame him nor think that he is bad. At least I would like them still being good to the bouncy boy, because he really tried his best.

I don’t know how much Swap!Susie is uncomfortable being around him... From the second chapter it was clear that Kris doesnt have really warm feelings towards Ralsei. So I still need to think about Swap!Susie and Swap!Lancer relationship. I personally think that Swap!Lancer sees in Swap!Susie the mother figure that he never had or at least as an older sibling. Therefore, he is strongly attached to heroine and tries to be good support for her. But what is in Susies heart is not yet known.

My interpritation of Deltaswap AU is actually a mixture of the ideas of other two authors and my own. I hope it will not be comsidered as disrespect nor plagerism by their fans because I respect their original creations and I do not claim to be fully original. Lancer's original Deltaswap design was created by cuchufliqwq, but I added blue gloves and boots to it as the original colors of the Spade suit. Also I want to say that I was inspired by @admiral-yasen-hurtc and hers 2019 drawing of my headcanons. Deltaswap Susie is fully designed by me.
