I would suggest picking a book that sounds interesting and using the footnotes and bibliography to find more to read. I've done that a lot :) a lot of my books have more sticky tabs or w/e in the bibliography than in the text so I don't lose stuff I'm interested in.
Hope this helps!

Late Night Hunt - Yandere Wolf Diana Cavendish x Akko Kagari [Part 2 of 2]
Summary: Diana makes dinner for Atsuko while the two of them catch up after all that time apart. After dinner, Akko tries to leave the manor but Diana makes it clear that Atsuko isn't going anywhere and a hunt ensues.
Broken: Hey, @blee-bleep, I hope you like this part too, please let me know what you think!
[Cavendish Manor's Dining Hall]
Atsuko Kagari wasn't expecting this when she decided to take a look into the most haunted place known in the Hunter Community - she expected some ghosts or spirits, maybe even a vampire; what she got was a Tall Butch Werewolf House Head who happened to be her 'Fiancee' from her childhood. Akko was now sitting in a rather plush and lush chair, looking around at the paintings in the dining hall now that the lights were on - there were images of the manor's previous heads but Akko didn't see one of Diana, she must not have gotten a portrait made for herself yet. Speaking of Diana...
"Sorry it took so long, Atsuko, It's rather difficult to hold knives with hands like mine." Diana said as she walked out of the kitchen with two plates of food in her hands with delicious steaks drizzled in a brown sauce. Diana walked over to the table and placed the food before Akko before placing a wine glass on the right side of the girl's plate and setting her own food down and pulling the wine bottle from under her arm, using her claw on her thumb to open the cork and poured the wine into Akko's glass before doing the same to her own glass. She placed the wine bottle down before sitting in her chair and smiled at Akko with her wolfish teeth on display.
"Um... Thank you, Diana." Akko said as she picked up her knife and knife, cutting the meat and stabbing it with her fork before picking it up, putting it into her mouth, and chewing. Her eyes widened at the flavor, "This is delicious, Diana! I didn't know you could cook that good."
"I'm glad you like it, Atsuko; it's been a while since I've been able to cook for anyone. I'm glad you're here with me now." Diana said as her tail waved around in excitement - Akko looked at the woman's tail before looking at her.
"Um... Diana, what happened to you after you left the school? I hadn't heard from you in a long time." Akko asked causing Diana to look to the ground before she looked at Akko with emotion in her blue eyes.
"A spell went wrong - my appearance was changed and I was sealed away in my own home, unable to go outside and see you anymore. When my aunt and my cousins disappeared, I became the Head of the Cavendish Name and when I hired a detective to look for you, they came up empty and all I had was this manor and the wealth of a Cavendish...but no one to share it with." Diana reached over and grasped Akko's hand in her own - her fur was rather soft, "I'm glad that you are here with me, Atsuko, now we can keep our promise to each other."
"Our Promise?" Akko asked. Diana pointed to the ring around her neck.
"We're getting married, remember? Now, that you have returned to e, we shall get married and procreate the Cavendish Family back to its former glory. I wonder if we will have a son or a daughter first." Diana asked herself as she scratched her chin with a thoughtful look on her face but Akko's face was red like a fire in a fireplace.
"Kids? Diana, we are both females, we can't have kids!" Akko said but Diana just chuckled to her.
"During my time here, I have experimented with potions - I found a potion that allows me to get you pregnant, Atsuko. Maybe we can try it out tonight..." Diana purred as she licked her lips at Akko, who jumped from her seat and shook her head.
"Diana, I...I can't have your children. I'm not ready for something like that." Akko said as she looked back at the door, "I think I should go, Diana; I really need to think about this whole marriage thing."
"Atsuko, you can't leave me. I've waited so long to have you back in my grasp and now that I do, you expect me to let you go?!" Diana roared as she stood up to her full height, glaring down at the one who she's been looking for all this time, "You aren't going anywhere, Atsuko Kagari. You are mine!" Diana pounced at Akko, who turned and started running for her life, "ATSUKO KAGARI!! GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!"
Akko ran down the hallway - her heart pounding - until she reached the foyer, she ran down the stairs and ran to the door before pulling on it but it wasn't opening.
"ATSUKO!" Diana called out from on top of the stairs before stomping down the stairs as Akko pulled on the door, soon the large werewolf grabbed Akko from behind and yanked her away from the door, and pulled her close to her chest before wrapping her arms around the struggling girl. "You aren't going anywhere, Atsuko. Fate has brought you back to me and I'm going to keep you. I'm going to love you and you are going to love me. And I am going to breed you when the time is right. No one is going to take you away from me anymore." Diana turned around and started walking back up the stairs with the struggling girl in her grasp. They were together again...that's all that matters.

Something I was thinking about with The Lone Ranger. Tonto's cultural aspects being a bit disjointed actually makes sense within the story. Tonto's only a kid when Butch Cavendish attacks the village. He's a child who witnessed the massacre of his family, his community. And on top of that he feels it was his fault. He was a traumatised child, left alone in the world. In his mind, over time, he pieced together an answer for what happened. The killer was a Wendigo that he had to stop. That was the rational that kept him going. A common theme with people trying to get back a culture that's been taken from them, is that what they know is not 100% accurate. Tonto's belief, his identity, is pieced together because that's what he was left with. Even the Comanche group in the story say that Tonto is not one of them, he's the loner, the crazy. At the end of the story, when Tonto has to face Cavendish again and remember exactly what happened all those years ago, he's able to see what's real. "You're not the Wendigo. You're just another greedy white man." is one of the most powerful moments in the story. Tonto is an amazing character. he's not a joke, or comical sidekick. He's someone who's lost everything, and pieced himself back together from ruins. A lot of honest pride went into making this character too. Representatives of the Comanche nation helped create this character. Mini rant over. this story just gets me. I love folklore and history and learning about other cultures. I just with it was more widely known that the Comanche supported and worked on this movie. Johnny Depp was actually adopted into a Comanche family. He has an adopted Comanche mother. That wouldn't have happened if they didn't actually care about him and love him. It frustrates me because I always see things about people saying he's some cultural appropriator and this movie's a racist stereotype because that's just not the case.
I find this incredibly insightful! I was aware of Johnny's Comanche family which says a lot within itself, however I've never seen the movie. I think it's very brilliant of this individual to break it down and deep dive into the history of the tribe and of indigenous people in general. I do not think Johnny is a racist, and the Comanche tribe, particularly LaDonna Harris would agree.

Character Actor
George Glenn Strange (August 16, 1899 – September 20, 1973)  Actor who mostly appeared in Western films and was billed as Glenn Strange. He is best remembered for playing Frankenstein's monster in three Universal films during the 1940s and for his role as Sam Noonan, the bartender on CBS's Gunsmoke.
He gained his first motion picture role in 1932, and appeared in hundreds of films during his lifetime.   Beginning in 1949, he portrayed Butch Cavendish, the villain responsible for killing all of the Texas Rangers except one in the long-running television series The Lone Ranger.
Strange appeared twice as Jim Wade on Bill Williams's syndicated Western series geared to juvenile audiences The Adventures of Kit Carson. He also appeared twice as Blake in the syndicated Western The Cisco Kid. In 1952, he was cast in the role of Chief Black Cloud in the episode "Indian War Party" of the syndicated The Range Rider. In 1954, Strange played Sheriff Billy Rowland in Jim Davis's syndicated Western series Stories of the Century. Strange appeared six times in 1956 in multiple roles on Edgar Buchanan's syndicated Judge Roy Bean.
In 1958, he had a minor part in an episode of John Payne's The Restless Gun, and had an important role in the 1958 episode "Chain Gang" of the Western series 26 Men, true stories about the Arizona Rangers. That same year, he played rancher Pat Cafferty, who faces the threat of anthrax, in the episode "Queen of the Cimarron" of the syndicated Western series, Frontier Doctor. Strange appeared in six episodes of The Rifleman playing the same role in different variations: Cole, the stagecoach driver, in "Duel of Honor"; a stagecoach shotgun guard in "The Dead-eye Kid"; Joey, a stagecoach driver in "The Woman"; and an unnamed stagecoach driver in "The Blowout", "The Spiked Rifle", and "Miss Bertie"
Strange was cast in five episodes of the ABC Western The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp and three segments of the syndicated Annie Oakley. In 1959, he appeared in another Western syndicated series, Mackenzie's Raiders, in the episode entitled "Apache Boy". Strange was cast twice on Kirby Grant's Western aviation adventure series, Sky King, as Rip Owen in Stage Coach Robbers (1952), and as Link in Dead Giveaway (1958).
He first appeared on Gunsmoke in 1959 and assumed several roles on the long-running program before he was permanently cast as stolid bartender Sam Noonan, a role he played from 1961 until 1973, though rarely involved with any character definition beyond fetching a drink or the marshal.   (Wikipedia)

It's been 10 years since Disney's The Lone Ranger came out on July-3-2013 and let me tell ya: it's an average movie I've ever watched. Average means "OK", so remember that. It's about in the year 1933 a boy discovers an ancient Native American in a sideshow carnival tent. The Indian, or Native American for better, is Tonto (Johnny Depp), the old companion of John Reid (Armie Hammer) who's also a lawman more famously known as the Lone Ranger. With this opportunity to set the record straight about his and Reid's adventures, Tonto recalls the day in the year 1869 when he first encountered the man who would be his trusted friend and tells of their teamwork bringing down Butch Cavendish (William Fichtner) and other Old West outlaws. This Disney movie reminds me that I'm in the wild, wild west with both Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer.

Minifigure Showcase: Texas Law
1. Texas Law
The ranger known simply as Texas Law wanders the wild west in search of justice and vengeance for his past. He carries a silver six-shooter and a whip with deadly skill, able to outdraw nearly any opponent. But his most indomitable aspect is his iron will, a shining bastion of morality in the morally dubious Wild West.
The minifigure itself utilizes a unique dark-blue color palette in tandem with a bright silver and a red bandanna to recreate the colors of the Lone Star state, complete with the branding of a lone silver star, denoting both his origin and his status as a Texas ranger. He wears a metal plated suit of armor beneath his garb, with a metal mask covering his face, giving it an intimidating glare as he saunters into town.
2. Hector “Rattlesnake” LeFrake
The deadliest outlaw in the wild west has a draw as quick and deadly as a snake, and skin as yellow and scaly as the serpents of the desert. Hector LeFrake has been plaguing the wild west with his criminality for years, but only after an encounter with Texas rangers, in which his skin was doused with nitroglycerin and set alight, would he gain his moniker “Rattlesnake”. He has since come to lead his own band of unsavory outlaws, using his ruthless will and potent wrath to remain a force to be reckoned with.
The minifigure itself uses the unique hat-hair piece from Lego the Lone Ranger’s Butch Cavendish, along with a long, black coat and brown clothing with silver highlights to brandish the criminals sense of style. He carries twin six-shooters which he draws from his open coat, and his head and hands use tan to showcase his tarnished and scarred skin.
3. Abigail Crawford.
The hearty cowgirl of the vast Crawford ranch, Abigail has yearned to ride with her father and brothers for years, but only after they disappeared mysteriously would she get her chance. Dawning a red hat and a lasso typical of her  trade, she takes to the wide open ranges avenging her family and working alongside Texas Law in his quest for justice.
The minifigure iutself takes advantage of the dark red-light yellow hat-hair piece unique to Build-a-Minifigure stands, along with a lasso. The torso shows a white cow-skin vest and crimson shirt along with a gunbelt.
