The process of his dying has killed us all a little bit. It's as if, instead of going to work every day, he's had to dig his own grave out back, in the lot behind the pool. And dig it not all at once, but an inch or two at a time.

Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions
Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions
By: Daniel Wallace
In his prime, Edward Bloom was an extraordinary man. He could outrun anybody. He never missed a day of school. He saved lives and tamed giants. Animals loved him, people loved him, and women loved him. He knew more jokes than any man alive.
At least that’s what he told his son, William.

DANIEL WALLACE HAS A NEW BOOPK COMING OUT IT LOOKS GOOD I JUST GOOGLED IT WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WORKED WITH HIM. it's his first nonfiction work?! It kinda sounds like it will be a little bit Augusten Burroughs-y, who is my fav author, so i am excited!
im obsessed with tim burton and literally went to film school because of that man, and this book/movie has haunted my life in the best way possible. sigjaoipfjaijfhwa
Okay so basically I went to a performing arts high school (I just graduated last week) and I was part of the writing and publishing department. Our department has the only high school ran book press in the United States (BatCat Press) and every year we pick a couple of books to edit, design, hand bind and sell.
This year, amongst one of our 2 new books is a poetry collection by Daniel Wallace called How to Build a Coffin. The press is only about 10 kids so half of us were on this book and the other half on a different one. We zoom called this man every couple of weeks and he is so sweet but sort of odd (in the best way possible) I believe when the book is released he’s flying up to my former school for the release, so I’ll probably have to show up as an alumni 😭
Fun fact about him: When we zoom called him he’d always have an eyebrow filter on. Like I’m not sure if he didn’t know it or if he did it on purpose but every time his head moved, the eyebrows stayed in the exact same place (even if his face was off screen). It was so hard to stay professional and not laugh when he moved 😂

The Seven came out a while ago and has already been talked about, but I was so unprepared for the feral feminine energy of this campaign! It’s been so long since I was in a group of girls all excited and screaming over each other and riffing on each others jokes while being wildly inappropriate, and this campaign throws me back to it. It’s so chaotic and delightful and scattered. It feels like watching a loud runaway train that Brennan is trying and only sometimes succeeding to steer.

Revised Jon Matteson Character Family Tree
*Clones are not human and therefore not included*
*Wiggly is also not human but likes to show up and torment the rest of them every now and then*
*Roman and Carl have families in canon and therefore are not included* (also we all decided Linda and Gary boned so we can't include Roman because we can't have both)
Everyone has different last names because we respect our mothers in this family, goddamit...
no one has heard from Paul and Gary's brother since he got a job down at Watcher World.
