yeonjun never knew he'd be in such a big predicament just lying in bed next to you. the rain cocoons the apartment you two reside in; like a calming melody that entrances the pair of you to laze around to the point where soft chatters dissolve into being tangled in each other's arms and slowly eyes flutter shut.

in the midst of it all, yeonjun finds himself opening his eyes to see how you're facing the ceiling. slowly, as sleep takes over you, it makes you tilt to the side where you're facing him in such a slow-motion-like-action that it makes his breath hitch in his throat. he's grateful that his lips are sealed because swear, he would've let out a gasp then and there with how beautiful you looked. he's torn between telling you of all the thoughts running through his mind–you're so pretty. i can't believe i get to hold you like this. did you manage to get that thing you said you were gonna get from the mall? do you want to go out for dinner tomorrow? my treat–and instead, he keeps silent, enjoying the quiet and basking in the presence of you.

it takes every fibre in his being to keep his mouth shut but you solidify that for him by scooting closer towards him in this semi-asleep state that lulls him to follow your suit. he carefully tucks you by his neck where he feels your breath fanning his skin in a way that tickles him but reassures him you're here. he smiles as his eyes flutter back shut, both arms coming around to secure you by his side.

he feels his heart skipping a beat when he feels your smile pressed to his neck with your arms reciprocating his embrace by squeezing his torso. if there was a moment that yeonjun's grateful for keeping his mouth shut, it's now. it's the way he can feel like the both of you were on the same wavelength despite being in this grey area of awake and asleep... and it reassures him knowing that maybe, you don't need to say everything that's on your mind and it can be conveyed with actions.

all it took was feeling the smile against his neck. all it took was hearing him smile as he nuzzles into you. all as the two of you drift away into slumber together.

AHH HEYY IVE BEEN GOOD… finally started college in january, it’s been a little over a month & it’s been going well kind of lol… classes are HARD but we persevere (and LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES AND DONT TAKE THE SAME KINDS OF CLASSES NEXT SEMESTER also it’s actually just these two specific classes for reasons that would require a whole separate rant ugh the other ones aren’t bad), i haven’t really made like actual friends yet but there are some promising groups im in so yayy hopefully i can actually click with people ugh it is soo hard. so tldr college is hard but this is the average first semester experience so i’m chillin, plus sammie and i are still going strong after over a year together now and we’re in it together at the same college !! which makes it easier bc this place is a 20 hour drive from my hometown i knew NO ONE when i came here lol i have yet to meet someone else from my state besides sammie. how have u been as well??? ahh i wish i were more active on here i miss u!
