Introducing - Of Brothels and Bastards
" Sometimes though, history has a way of surprising us all and bastards and brothels can both become a catalyst of events that changed the story of Westeros forever. At this time we are accounting the tale of a pleasure house known as Seven Delights and bastard siblings Vaerra and Elyas Waters and how they influenced what has later became known as the Dance of Dragons."
- Archmaester Gyldayn, Chronicles of House Targaryen and the History of Westeros
Vaerra Waters (90AC) was born to a Lyseni pleasure girl by an unknown father. She grew up into a beauty, with raven hair and deep violet eyes, suggesting she carried valyrian blood. Except having her maidenhead sold to the highest bidder, she did not follow into the footsteps of her mother, choosing to be a proprietor rather than a harlot. She possessed a wit and intelligence matching her looks and knew well how to use them, easily catching the attention of the Rogue Prince himself.
Elyas Waters (92AC) was born in the same pleasure house as Vaerra and the two had since claimed to be siblings despite not sharing a drop of blood. If one cared to look, the boy carried a resemblance to the would be Hand of the King, Ser Otto Hightower, though such vile rumors were quickly and efficiently squashed. He possessed an intellect even sharper than his claimed sister and proved himself very talented while acting as eyes, ears and hand to Daemon's Targaryen many machinations.
Thank you, @damn-daemon for allowing me to ramble to you!

"'Ila was giving me advice on being a woman', Egwene replied absently. He began laughing, and she gave him a hooded, dangerous look that he failed to see.
'Advice! Nobody teaches us how to be men. We just are'
'That', Egwene said, 'is probably why you make such a bad job of it'."

The False Dragon - Act I - The Game Begins
‘Maybe you are right’ Elyas said taking the seat beside his sister. ‘But you are wrong if you think that I am about to fault you for wanting some entertainment. I just want you to be careful.’
‘You don’t want me to anger Daemon’ Vaerra countered, her face creasing into a frown. ‘And the least you could do is to have enough decency to be honest with me.’
Elyas sighed. Vaerra was usually a great conversation partner, smart and charming, but whenever she decided to let her temperament lead her all that charm and wit turned into an impenetrable stubbornness.
‘I thought this one goes without saying’ he said, running his fingers through his hair. ‘You know that everything we are, everything we have hinges upon our loyalty Daemon. You cannot risk it on the account of a man you barely know…’
Vaerra smiled above the rim of her goblet, but the look she leveled at him was cold.
‘Don’t take me for a silly little girl, brother’ she said, clicking her nails against the glass.

Hey, would you consider taking down this post: https://www.tumblr.com/accessible-art/733352422469156864
The phrase "from the river to the sea" is an antisemitic phrase. That phrase is about the forceful expulsion of Jews from every land and into the sea to die off. It is very unfortunate that it's being used unwittingly by well meaning people to rally support for Palestine and their suffering (which we should do! Please don't misunderstand). That phrase is too loaded.
hello there anon, i am going to word this as gently as i can. i myself am jewish, and i will not be taking down the post as i fundamentally disagree that "from the river to the sea" is antisemitic. the saying is not to do with expelling jews from anywhere, much less killing us all. it is referring to the fact that israel is a settler colonial state on land that palestinians (of all religions - including jews) have inhabited for thousands of years. from the river to the sea is a reaffirmation of this land-history and a call to action against the ethnic cleansing, genocide, and erasure that palestinians have faced under israeli apartheid/governance. saying that the restoration of palestinian land to the palestinian people would result in jewish genocide is a baseless projection. do not get me wrong, there are absolutely people using the pro-palestine movement as a mask for their antisemitism, but this phrase did not originate with them. the reason this phrase is so divisive is the same reason "landback" is so divisive. settler-colonialism is so pervasive in the west that the idea of indigenous people seeking sovereignty over their land without violently dispossessing all others who live on the land is unfathomable, no matter how many times indigenous people have made it clear that they have no desire to do so. to put it bluntly, that phrase is only "too loaded" if you do not recognize palestinians as indigenous to their land, at which point whatever support you're "rallying" would be rendered useless.
you are welcome to unfollow us if this explanation does not satisfy you, but we will not be taking down our pro-palestine content.
