I did some Souichi studies because I’m love he <3 (Patreon)
Bonus:
Tumblr media
Here are the Studies compared to their Originals btw :3
Tumblr media
So like, not a joke, not an exaggeration, I’m pretty sure this is my favourite panel in the entire Challengers/KoiBo continuity (and I decided to draw it first lol - it’s ‘cause I have such big feelings about it!!) It just hhhhhh, it so perfectly encapsulates everything he’s feeling in that moment; disbelief, betrayal, uncertainty, distrust, conflict - every moment of love he’s built up to that point has been thrown into immediate relief to what he’s been told and it’s all there, right on his face, it’s such a masterfully done expression ;; <3 I legit cry every time I reread, that whole scene is just so good, I could actually talk forever about his relationship with Morinaga in that one moment
Tumblr media
The rest aren’t nearly so intense lol, mostly just grabbed from moments when I thought he was being especially cute <3 Concerned lad! His hair is so swoopy in Challengers hehe <3 <3 It’s actually even fluffier in his super early-on appearances, which are also excellent >:3c But I still like his KoiBo look best ♪ You can also see it’s a bit of a challenge to make his face as slim as he actually is, just thicken the lines inward until it almost looks right! Lol
Tumblr media
I love this panel haha, everyone so silly chibi’d out. You can also really get a good look at how ridiculous his hair is, look at how the tuft that’s tucked behind his ear joins up with the tie! How does he tie it up like that, consistently?? How is he allowed in labs like that!! He’s ridiculous <3
Tumblr media
Confused and blushy Souichi ft. Morinaga, I just kind of filled in the details he was covering lol. I love Souichi being dumb and having no self-awareness <3 He’s actually quite intelligent and emotionally aware a surprising majority of the time! But his blind spots leave big gaps haha
Tumblr media
I love when he has his eyebrows in a relatively neutral position, he’s normally so grumpy! He looks so friendly even with just a neutral expression :D Plus his hair!! The way it’s communicated to be thin and feathery by being able to “see through it” to his lab coat, ah <3 Handsomest
Tumblr media
Shy boy <3 I also really love the way his hands and wrists are shaped, such cool lines ah
Tumblr media
I could’ve sworn he and Morinaga were like, almost the same size in Challengers... I guess Morinaga did have a second growth spurt, but still! It’s just an excuse to see him being cute!! Oh noooooo (lol)
Tumblr media
Grump man <3 Beauty boy <3 His hair flows so beautifully!
Tumblr media
It’s also fun to see a younger Souichi in a flashback, rather than in the Challengers style haha. He was a mess by himself, he’d hate to hear it but he really only does well with others haha. I also love how this scene is from the POV of one of his admirers, Momo is such a good girl and she’s so right <3
Tumblr media
He’s being such a meanie to his sister in this scene lol, he’s the worst! <3 I was going to leave it at that, but adding his little frameless-glasses stem holes really made it look like Spamton’s googly eyes and I about lost it lol

hp next generation│characters
REMUS & TONKS
Teddy Lupin
Hufflepuff
Hair that changes often—currently a bright, electric blue; olive skin
Kind and considerate
Respectful and sweet
Humble and appreciative of Harry Potter and their family
Deeply in love with Victoire—for a lot more than her looks
Victoire tells everyone it was Teddy who fell for her first, just because he told her he loved her first, but Teddy secretly knows that it’s Victoire who fell first
Made Head Boy for his high academic achievement (including a nailed Outstanding in Defence Against the Dark Arts)
Out of all the Potter children, he is closest with Lily Potter; she used to ride his back when she was younger and make him personalised, singing birthday cards
HARRY & GINNY
James Sirius Potter
Gryffindor
Around 180 cm; classically handsome face; strong jawline; thick, dark brown, untidy hair that glints auburn in the sun and he constantly runs his hands through; irritatingly clear skin; prominent hazel eyes; cocky smirk
From first to third year, he conceitedly thinks that Allie likes him just because she said thank you to him after he told off some boys for pulling on her hair; this turns out to be false, as Allie starts going out with Dylan Thomas
The most arrogant out of his family members, his best friend and cousin Fred coming second
His nana started calling him “Jamie,” to which his friends started mocking him for
This led to James coming up with nicknames for everyone else, some sticking and some only for mocking (e.g. Allie, Freddie, Roxie—but not Dom because she’d kill them if they did)
Typically a player but knows when to settle down into a relationship—reliable and loyal if he’s really interested in you—if you’re just a one-time shag, he’s still nice to you though
A lover of Quidditch, pranks, making others laugh—he’s the class clown
Naturally smart; has a lot of potential to be great—especially in Potions and Alchemy—but starts off not diligent or focused enough
Cares for his family and friends—perhaps too much sometimes
Immature class clown turned just as funny Head Boy without wanting the latter
Gets others and himself into trouble all the time
Constantly curious—to the point where it, also constantly, gets him into trouble and detention with McGonagall
Free and confident being who he is, which Allie admires
Childish, stupid, hyper and more arrogant when drunk
After being turned by an infamous werewolf in the middle of his sixth year, he starts smoking excessively—”The more I do with my mouth, the less chance I’ll have to tell someone I’m a monstrous killer. Unless you, Allie, would like to help me instead?”—Dom, who used to be an addict in her fourth year when she hung out with Slytherin boys, persuades James to stop
When he becomes a werewolf in his sixth year, he decides to quit the Quidditch team so he won’t ruin it for anyone if he can’t play; he doesn’t tell Fred his reasoning—he can’t tell anyone he’s a werewolf or might be expelled for possible danger by certain Ministry workers—and Allie is forced to take his spot
McGonagall secretly finds James one of her favourite students, despite telling him off constantly for his pranks
Loves his dog Paddy
Bisexual or pansexual—“As long as they’re good-looking,” he says, cracking a cocky smirk.
The ultimate 21st century cool guy—really hot, intelligent and with no preference for partners’ sexuality
Very straightforward like Dominique—doesn’t know boundaries at times
Secretly kind
Super selfless
Finds it amusing that he actually likes Professor Malfoy, his new Alchemy teacher
Professor Malfoy finds it funny that he likes James too
Though predicted Outstanding in his Alchemy mock exam, James runs out halfway through the lesson to confess his feelings to Allie
“What’s with your son, Potter? He’s unbelievable.”—“Merlin, what’s he done now?”—“He ran out halfway through the lesson, finishing 75% of the exam—which is impressive enough as he should’ve been at 50%—and got 73% right! If your son doesn’t run out of the room during the real exam, I’m sure he could get an O.”
Albus Severus Potter
Slytherin
Only just taller than Roxanne
Almond-shaped, bright green eyes; neat black hair; thin-faced with knobby knees; thin and of average height
Listens to Radiohead and other Muggle bands
Angsty teen shut-the-fuck-up type
Used to be bullied for being so different from the rest of his family; girls dig the bad boy thing (though Albus isn’t bad and doesn’t act like it on purpose)
Like a sassy young Harry from Order of the Phoenix
Rolls eyes a lot
Nobody can tell what he’s thinking
Witty—self-deprecating humour
Lily Potter
Gryffindor—without a doubt
Around 162 cm with pale, white, freckled skin, vibrant brown eyes, straight, bright ginger hair; she eventually gets glasses due to her worsening eyesight—“At least I’m not as blind as you, Dad.”
Very curious and interested; cheery; talkative; honest; adventurous
Wants to have fun but is studious too—for sure not as extreme a pranker or partyer as James
Often argues with Albus as they’re both really stubborn; James can be seen laughing the background
Strong-willed and quick-witted
Admires Rose as an older sister
Ships Albus and Scorpius more than anyone
RON & HERMIONE
Rose Weasley
Gryffindor
Wavy scarlet/vermilion hair; light skin with minor freckles, as she doesn’t spend much time in the sun
Loves reading and the library
Prefers to keep to herself/be independent
Loves to point things out for others
Her fatal flaw is being too honest that she sounds condescending/rude, especially when she’s angry
Only impulsive when angry;
Never procrastinates
Extremely intelligent/book-smart
Slightly arrogant and snobby
Short-tempered and stubborn
Says she doesn’t care about appearances until Scorpius finds out about her contact lenses after hiding under her bed
Hugo Weasley
Ravenclaw
Shorter than most; boyish good looks; curly brown hair (an undercut when he was rebelling); lanky; long-sleeved shirts and jeans
Loves music—singing, acoustics, angst/soft/indie tunes
Quiet but frank when passionate or needed
Highly intelligent
Quietly opinionated
Named attractive by girls but he doesn’t care for them—only his studies and music
Doesn’t laugh; deadpan
Not very close with Potter-Weasley-Granger clan
Dislikes James for treating him like a child, being frivolous and always partying
Dislikes Dominique for being intimidatingly rude
NEVILLE & HANNAH
Alice (Allie) Longbottom
Ravenclaw
Around 158 cm; sweet-faced; doe-eyed; wavy dark-gold/caramel-blonde medium-length hair; long eyelashes; rich, doe, dark brown eyes; thick-knit cream and orange jumpers
A bad habit of hers is biting her nails
Doesn’t get drunk until of age but is said to remain nonchalant and the same after several drinks
Though she complains she hates it because it’s illegal, she secretly enjoys being the designated driver in the flying car—there’s no other way for her to fly, as she’s dreadful on a broom like her dad
Clumsy when she’s younger
Open-minded; the right amount of honesty; not rude
Tones down James and Fred by telling them if their pranks are going over the line
Considered the worst Quidditch player/broom-rider ever since her first flying lesson where she spun around the school for hours uncontrollably
One day when Fred is injured and can’t play a match, James convinces Allie to and she manages to help them win—by distracting the other scared players with her super-fast flying
A louder, sweeter, more humble version of Albus
Shy when with new people, but later—if quiet—she’s only observant
Wishes she had a large family but eventually finds that the Weasley-Potter-Granger clan are just as caring
Her mother, Hannah Abbott, the school matron, is dying—lethargic, pale, cadaverous, bony, tired hair
Her parents weren’t sure they could have a child due to Hannah being ill (having a blood curse)
When Hannah dies, Allie becomes very depressed because her family is down to just her and her dad; she feels guilty that she didn’t spend as much time with her mum as she did with her dad
Allie sees Scorpius crying in Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom after his mother died too from a blood curse; this leads to a close friendship and slight jealousy from James, who at this point has just realised he loves Allie
Thinks she needs to excel at school because her dad works there—wants to impress her dad and make him proud
In her seventh year, she hears about a chance to intern at St Mungo’s; wanting to be nearer to family, she applies and gets accepted
She visits her grandparents at Christmas, which is why they sort-of remember her
Neville only hears about the internship when McGonagall talks to him about it and is heartbroken that his daughter didn’t tell him—this was because she knew he’d say no
She impulsively decides she wants to be a Healer
James and her get into an argument about this
“You don’t care about being a Healer. You just want a reason to see your grandparents, to be nearer people who care about you. What you don’t realise is that, although plenty of us aren’t related to you, we love you too.”—James
“You want to be a Healer? You’ve never talked about this ever!”—“Well some people can’t decide what they want to do when they’re five, like you or Fred!”—“I don’t know what I’m doing, Allie! Merlin...what’re you going to do if your grandparents pass away? Will you quit being a Healer? Do what you love, Allie. Don’t do what you think other people want.”
After James becomes a werewolf, she sticks by his side; she even becomes an illegal Animagus to help him—she is a hare, like Luna Lovegood’s Patronus, and finds herself somewhat unuseful as she’s so small
Lysander is her first kiss
Boys consider her pretty in the “cute” way; adults describe her as “lovely”; Fred describes her as “the type of person that calls other girls beautiful”; James describes her as “beautiful. That’s it.”
Her three current and past love interests are James, Dylan Thomas and Nicolas (a hot Beauxbatons exchange student), the first becoming her husband and the latter two ending up together
Zabini mocks this, telling Allie she “turned them gay.”
James murdered him on the Quidditch pitch the next day
GEORGE & ANGELINA
Fred Weasley
Gryffindor
187 cm; very tall; well-built; short, cropped raven hair; light freckles
Goofy like James
Needs to focus on his studies more and does in last two years of school, after failing multiple OWL exams and getting a Howler from his mum
From then on, he is given a tutor, Chloe, who is a year older than him, in Ravenclaw, pretty and half-Asian
Fred falls in love with her, though is scared she thinks of him as an immature guy and doesn’t tell her until the Christmas of his sixth year where James and Ally are invited to the Slug Club party and he’s left alone to study; On the way back from the bathroom, Chloe decides to ditch the Slug Club and stay with Fred late into the night
Loves/is passionate about Quidditch more than anything; wants to play professionally
After James is turned into a werewolf and some people become slightly scared of him and find him unreliable, Wood has no choice but to choose Fred to be Quidditch Captain
Fred knows he’s second best to James, as he always is, and
Always seen laughing with James
Always sleeps and snores in History of Magic
Infatuated with Ally for a period of time but never confesses himself
Instead, they become very, very close friends, Fred being the first person who finds out how Allie feels about James
Roxanne Weasley
Hufflepuff
Around 165 cm; long, rich dark auburn hair; flawless, freckle-less mocha skin
Admires Ally
Sickeningly sweet; polite; formal
Lies so people don’t get hurt
Introverted
Low self-esteem
Loves watching Quidditch, not playing, making her different from her mum and dad
Secretly very loud, opinionated and
Not an attention-seeker but wants to be noticed by somebody outside of her family
Dominique and her end up having a lot in common, including being constantly annoyed at Fred
Crushes on Lysander, the popular, smart guy, but ends up with Lorcan, the outcasted, artsy guy
BILL & FLEUR
Louis Weasley
“Hot Louis”
Ravenclaw
Looks more like his mother
Always relaxed
Close friends with Lysander
*To be continued*
Dominique Weasley
Gryffindor but almost a Slytherin
Tall and skinny; long, strawberry-blonde hair often kept in a pony-tail; light tan from the hours spent playing Quidditch; dark blue eyes that flicker with every sarcastic thought
Somewhat jealous of her older sister Victoire but doesn’t hold too much resentment towards her
The best female beater on the Slytherin team in years; she only tries out for the team after a year of being a hilarious, swearing, honest Quidditch commentator
Admittedly a hypocrite
The badass, devil-may-care type
Extra asf
Finds Herbology boring, despite everyone loving Herbology because of Professor Longbottom
Gets kicked out of Beauxbatons for using magic inappropriately after her mum sends her there to discipline her
Rough relationship with her mum
She is surprised to learn that her dad dressed as a bad boy during school, as he now worships grades and do-gooder ideals
Victoire Weasley
Gryffindor
Beautiful; tall and willowy, like a model; sapphire-blue eyes; long, pale-blonde hair (that she cuts shorter later to be “taken seriously by Aurors”); forever clear, pale skin (apart from the light freckling on her cheeks and nose)
Sweet; caring
Made Head Girl
Curious, but not rebellious, cunning, stealthy or adventurous like her sister
Graceful but not stealthy
Plays it safe, but not compliant
Deeply in love with the kind, sweet, yet misunderstood Teddy—a boy whom she helps recover from depression by showering him with friendship and love
PERCY & AUDREY
Molly Weasley
Ravenclaw
Wavy gingery-brown hair; icy, pale blue eyes; very skinny; tall; very freckled skin
Head Girl after Victoire leaves
Strict
Caring but not doting
Responsible
Easily-angered
Bickers and argues a lot with everyone
Tends to hang around her family members or teachers
Highly intelligent due to determination
Well-spoken; know-it-all
Acts like she can control everyone around her
Is disliked or not preferred by the older kids in the Potter-Weasley-Granger clan, but the young ones like her for babysitting when she’s free
Admires how Ally cares for everyone, tries to keep them out of trouble, without making them hate her
Admired by Rose
Lucy Weasley
*To be continued*
LUNA & ROLF
Lysander Scamander
Ravenclaw
Intelligent
Cool and collected
Well-known by everyone; popular
Follows in his father, Rolf’s, footsteps
Handsome; neat dirty-blond hair; “dreamy” cornflower-blue eyes
Brightest wizard of his year
The classier, more organised out of the twins
Blunt and honest but tries to hold back
Aware of his achievements
Arrogant; “Yeah, I know.”
Like a classier, quieter version of James, which Lily hates at first
Nevertheless, Lily and him end up together after the both of them consistently visit Hagrid (Lily does this because she doesn’t have many friends and hangs out with Hagrid; Lysander does this because he loves Care of Magical Creatures)
Lorcan Scamander
Ravenclaw
Quiet in speech, but loud in every other aspect
Badly-dressed—clothes the wrong size, the wrong colour, but still manages to make it looks somewhat stylish
Not-so-secretly handsome
I’ll-be-who-I-want kind of personality
Longer, messy dirty-blond hair; kind, doe silvery eyes; smiley
Loves art
Creative, confident and selfless
Great at giving advice
Called “weird” and a “hippie” by some
DRACO & ASTORIA
Scorpius Malfoy
Slytherin
White-blonde hair; pale blue-grey eyes; tall and lanky; sharp cheek bones; intimidating due to height but an actual cinnamon bun;
Easy-going
Your genuine he-who-listens-and-won’t-judge mate
Determined to make Rose like him
Persistent and passionate about things he loves
Loves Christmas with the Weasley-Potter-Granger clan more than with him and his dad alone, as being alone with his dad reminds him he doesn’t have his mum there too—which is why he always brings his dad along to the Burrow, which can be slightly awkward
Thinks of Allie as a big sister

Shh, AI, Blue, Villain, and Character for the Vrains meme?
Yay! Thanks for asking! Now let’s begin. ヽ(*・ω・)ノ
Shh- Unpopular opinion you have
Ryoken is the reincarnation of Stardust Dragon //gets shotXD
So far, I have this gut feeling that Lightning actually cares for Jin. Well, since Jin is his Origin, he puts Jin in higher regard than any other human. Yes, yes, I know there’s the whole ‘putting humans under control’ thing going on, but there’s obviously a deeper reason behind Lightning’s motives for keeping Jin. Whether if it’s for personal gain or not, I won’t besurprised if part of Lightning’s reason for his vendetta was because of Jin’s welfare.
But, hey, that’s just an opinion. (─‿‿─)
AI- Favorite Ignis
Tumblr media
Gotta say that it’s Ai. He’s such a little adorable shit that you just gotta love him. Interesting how he’s based on the super-serious and cool Yusaku and yet he’s so carefree and fun-loving. Though he comes off as childish, he cares a lot about his friends and he’s clever enough to dodge enemies for how many years before he landed in Yusaku’s care. I also like the idea of him being the first to develop instincts, because he served as the catalyst for the other Ignis to develop their own personalities and traits (and I know that his instincts had something to do with Ryoken encouraging Yusaku during the incident haha XD) Plus, I have a soft spot for Dark Attribute beings, and Ai does always keep me entertained whenever he’s onscreen.
Lightning comes in close second, which I’ll explain below.XD
Blue- Favorite Persona of Aoi Zaizen
Tumblr media
If I have to be honest, her IRL persona got me more interested in her rather than her VR forms. The reason why I relate to Aoi and Yusaku to a certain level is because they’re both introverts, detached, quiet, and reserved like me. Aoi reminds me of how I used to be as a teenager (minus the brother-complex). I didn’t know how to make friends and I often told myself before that I didn’t need any of that.
Tumblr media
If had to choose a VR persona, well, I have to go with Blue Girl. I’m aware that it’s like acopy-paste of Ghost Girl’s Design (And I LOVE GG’s design very much actually), but its overall aesthetic just appealed to me. The short hair, the cool look, the practicality of it all—made me wanna cosplay her actually. I wasn’t really fond of Idol-looks so Blue Angel’s design was just okay for me, and Blue Maiden’s design and it’s sudden insert-here into the series was kinda meh for me.
Villain- Favorite Antagonist
Tumblr media
When I think of my favourite characters, the one who I enjoy watching, identifying with and just find the most interesting, there are few who hold a candle to Ryoken/Revolver. Well, you see, if it isn’t obvious enough, Ryoken is a brilliant young man with a strategic mind, gifted aptitude for dueling and hacking, and impeccable leadership qualities. He leads the Knights of Hanoi to bring down the Ignis, and he can be ruthless when it comes to the pursuit of his goals. He didn’t become an antagonist out of selfishness or evil, but out of justified feelings for his father who believes they have to save humanity from the Ignis. In his VR form, he makes an imposing presence, but in reality he’s just a troubled kid plagued by guilt and regret. A huge whopping case of guilt. His life is full of constant ups and downs, because of the choices he made.
Tumblr media
And I love how he transitioned from villain to more of an Anti-hero now. (I could go on and on, but gotta stop right there)
Tumblr media
Now, as for the current season, I have to mention Lightning too. He’s my second favourite Ignis and currently my favourite antagonist. Presently, he’s working on grand plans against humanity. He’s a quintessential sort of monologuing villain, wanting to explain why his actions are right. He wants a fight, invites a fight, but his actions court chaos—so that he can justify his actions as self-defence. And it’s because of his megalomania complex in addition to his intelligence that he views humanity like insects. At the sametime, he’s not blind towards his own ambitions. He’s rather focused and his animosity is channelled towards accomplishing his goals. Combined with his highly-developed processing skills, he is a force that is difficult to oppose.
Character- Favorite Character Design
White hair naturally soft with streaks of lilac; framing eyes blue like crystals. His features sharp and chiselled as if from marble, handsome in its coldness. The epitome of tall, dark and gorgeous.
Tumblr media
Easily Ryoken Kogami.
Truth be known, I’ve had this insane crush on Yusei Fudo for a long time to the point I ran a deck that centered around Stardust Dragon for years. It’s no surprise that Stardust Dragon is my favourite Synchro Monster and probably my most favourite card in all of Duel Monsters. So, when I first saw Ryoken’s face-reveal, I went crazy. I was like ‘Oh gawd, he’s HOT! But wait…Why the hell does he look like Stardust Dragon???!!!’ And it seems like I wasn’t the only one who thought so. I’ve always found Stardust Dragon to be aesthetically pleasing, and same can be said about Ryoken. It doesn’t help that Ryoken is sinfully beautiful too.
His eyes were as green as the spring grass, and sparkling like dew in the morning sun. A quiet, cold beauty with hair in shades of blue and pink, blooming like a rare wisteria in a garden of thistles.
Tumblr media
Another favourite design of mine is none other than Yusaku Fujiki, the protagonist himself. One main reason? Serena (Arc V). My first impression of Yusaku was literally, ‘So, he’s like Link’s Dimension’s Bracelet Girl?’ because he looks like Serena so much. I almost thought she and Yuri got it on and had a child that got lost XD. Jokes aside, I really love Yusaku’s appearance that matches with his personality. It also serves as a deep contrast to his VRform.

Prompt: THIS FUCKING MASTERPIECE
Author: @destielthedeathofme
Pairing: Dean/Cas
Tags/Genre: Destiel, Painter! Dean, Critic! Cas, it's sadder than I anticipated, I'll try to make it funny, it's kinda angsty
Summary: read bro
Author's note: beep boop
~♡~
Dean cursed as Gabe nearly knocked over a display.
"Dumbass! Watch where you're going."
Gabriel just stuck his tongue out at him and proceeded to walk around.
Today was the biggest day of Dean's career and a Twizzler addict was not going to ruin it.
"Hey Dean-o why so glum?"
Dean winced as Gabriel's sickly sweet breath came in contact much too close to his face. Man, personal space seemed to just not affect Gabriel. He didn't expect any more from Gabe. Dean anxiously ran his hands through his hair, he could give Gabriel a million reasons but Dean settled on one.
"Because I'm fucking nervous you dwarf."
"Ouch." Gabriel put his hand to his chest in mock hurt.
Sam wandered over to Dean, but as soon as he spotted Gabriel, started walking fast. In the other direction.
Gabriel's eyes lit up in mischief, "HEYYY SAMMMMYYYY."
You may think by mischief, Dean refers to something childish. But no, simply because Gabriel is the embodiment of mischief.
Dean sighed, he wasn't going to survive today. But at least he was better off than poor Sam. Dean narrowed his eyes at
Charlie who had decided to take a break. Charlie gave him a terrified smile and got up again, undoubtedly cursing him off under her breath. She probably deserved one. Sure he was being a bit bitchy, but he had the right. Everything had to be perfect today.
Dean was your average struggling artist who just moved to the city two years ago. He lived in a tiny apartment where cockroaches ruled and the water tasted like lead, but he was alive and grateful. Dean knew he had to live with it because he was the one who chose to paint. He was the one that chose to paint and he would live with the consequences. Painting wasn't just colors and a canvas to Dean. No, it was much much more. Painting consumed him. Every stroke, every speck. And there wasn't Dean without art.
Too bad his father couldn't see that.
But Dean was still grateful, nonetheless that Sammy had flown out to see him. Sammy was the only family he had left. His friends were the best. He couldn't be more grateful for Gabriel, Charlie, Benny, Garth, and Jo, all of whom had shown up today.
Dean didn't like being the center of attention, how ironic that he was having an exhibition, full of his works, everything that symbolized him. Sure he liked to fool around at parties and make jokes like his life depended on it. But when it mattered, Dean didn't like attention. Maybe because he grew up without it.
Dean stifled a laugh as he saw Sam start to run away from Gabe, who seemed to catch up to Sam within seconds although his legs weren't even half as long. Funny what love could do.
Someone came up from behind him and Dean turned, sensing the "boo".
Jo pouted at him, hands at her hips, "You're no fun, Winchester."
Dean smirked, "Honey, you and I both know that's not true."
Jo hugged him, laughing, Dean loved Jo she was his best friend next to Charlie and the others. Her mom was also kind of his mom. Ellen has raised him, especially when John couldn't.
Dean circulated throughout the room, eyeing every exhibit, making sure it was set to perfection. He nodded approvingly at his friends, Garth and Benny, especially who had shown up a little early to help him.
God, what would he do without these people?
A voice chimed in, "Crash and burn."
Dean grinned at Charlie who had probably heard him although he was fairly sure he didn't say it out loud. Dean wondered how she was still beaming even after missing out on nearly 2 meals. Sure they ordered food but Charlie was hell-bent on helping.
"So I did some digging online and I know some critics that are going to show up today."
Dean's face lit up, finally some good news, there wasn't a single critic in the area that he didn't know. Dean would be prepared for them.
"Well? Spit it out."
"Okay geez, anyway I've got Balthazar you know the party freak, Chuck the guy who used to be a prodigy, Amara the one who's always trying to get in your pants, Rowena the bitchy one, and Castiel?"
Dean's face when white at the mention of Castiel.
Castiel Novak was a legend in the art industry. Anyone and everyone knew him. But he'd gone quiet over the years, just sort of disappearing. Much to Dean's disappointment, no amount of stalking would even bring up a picture of the guy or where he was. He was Dean's inspiration in art, for as long as he could remember. Castiel was known for his attitude and infamous temper. Maybe that's why Dean liked him so much. Hell, the focal point of tonight’s exhibition was a piece inspired by Castiel. Dean had named it “Angel”, and as cliche as that sounded, it was true. Castiel specialized in angels and supernatural beings, as did Dean. But his Angel tonight had been to honor his mother, Dean tried his best to replicate her and hadn’t let anyone see that one yet.
Here's the million dollar question.
How the fuck did he know who Dean Winchester was?
"Earth to Dean Winchester!!"
Dean blinked, "Uh yeah right here."
Charlie huffed in annoyance, "Dean you look like you just saw a ghost, are you alright? You know what, don't answer that, go take a walk."
Charlie pushed Dean towards the door, as much as he protested, but maybe this was a good idea.
As Dean opened the door, his nerves multiplied as he saw people start entering. The exhibition didn't start till 5:00 but there were some people trickling in.
something that would hopefully help him relax. But as fate would have it, Dean doesn't get to relax. Dean opened the large door of the exhibition hall and started walking outside, but there were too many things on his mind and so he bumps into someone.
Naturally, Dean's first response was,
"Are you blind?"
Dean looked up at the man who was frowning at Dean. Dark hair and blue eyes the guy reminded Dean of someone he knew but he was too pissed off to care. Now if Dean Winchester had been paying attention he would have noticed the way the man’s hair curled around his neck and how gravelly his voice was. But Dean totally wasn’t paying attention to those things. Totally not.
"You bumped into me."
"Whatever."
By the time Dean had finished taking a walk, it's time for the exhibition to start.
Dean would like to think that he's relaxed at this point, many people had already offered deals on his artwork, commissions, praises. But Dean isn’t. No, Dean was waiting for Castiel. If Castiel would so much as nod at his painting Dean would be complete.
It was time for the Q/A session and as far as Deam could tell, Castiel was a no-show. This was it. The time for the big reveal.
Dean pulled the sheets from over the painting.
Little gasps erupted amongst the crowd and Dean felt a huge weight being lifted off his shoulders. He looked over to Sam who had tears in his eyes.
Dean’s voice cracked as he spoke, ”This is my final piece of the night.”
He took a shaky breath.
“A-Any questions?”
At least a hundred hands shot up in the air and Dean felt like the room was getting smaller. He patiently answered them all, beaming at the positive responses.
“Who is your inspiration for this piece?”
“Well the actual piece is of my mother but one of my favorite artists Castiel Novak inspired the style.”
When the crowd quieted down, one hand remained in the air, and between the blinding lights with a mix of nerves Dean almost didn't see that hand.
“Would you like my opinion of your work?”
Its the same voice from earlier and Dean can’t help but feel a strange sense of deja vu.
“Yes.”
“It's worthless.”
The crowd gasped as a few shouts were aimed at the man.
Dean went a little numb. And at that moment Dean blessed his smart-ass self.
“I know but tell me anyway.”
The crowd roared and Dean could've sworn he saw the man smirk.
“My name is Castiel Novak and I will pay as much as you’d like for this painting.”
Dean was going to faint but his ego wouldn’t let him.
“It's not for sale.”
“My point exactly, this painting is worthless for anyone but you, because it holds much more meaning for you than it ever will to anyone else.”
“And since you won’t sell me this painting I would like to commission a painting from you.”
“For my entire fortune. But one exception, you will do so under my roof and my rules.”
“Do you accept?”
“I do.”

❖ AND THE DREAM CALLS: AIHA
❖ Character Section ❖
Character Name: Aiha
Pronouns: He/him
Age: Over 400 years; physically, he seems to be in his early twenties.
Trigger Warnings: Child abuse/neglect/abandonment, cults, forced cannibalism, death/murder, suicidal idealization
(as a note, these aren’t usually present in Aiha’s RP interactions, but rather take place in his past.)
Appearance: Not at all tall, and not too muscular or chubby; really, Aiha’s build would be fairly average if he weren’t barely 5’ tall (and that counts his ears into it, so technically he’s even shorter), though he doesn’t look childish or overly young. He has light skin, lightly freckled here and there (mostly over his shoulders and back). Aiha’s hair is colored in a vibrant, nearly golden shade of blond; it’s fluffy and long and he holds it together in a high ponytail, and even with that it still reaches past his waist. A pair of ears, not too unlike a fox’s, sit on top of his head; their fur is colored in the same hue as his hair, but their tips are black in color. Aiha’s eyes are sharp and their irises are silvery, almost white; framed by long eyelashes, Aiha’s eyes seem to have a bit of a piercing effect to them — like his gaze can cut someone in half. His face has red marks at some spots in it: one underneath each of his eyes like some sort of eyeliner, one running down the bridge of his nose, and three over each of his cheeks like they’re mimicking an animal’s whiskers. He has four long, fluffy tails, colored the same way his ears are: the same color as his hair, but tipped in black. All his nails are long and sharp like claws and so are his teeth, which look more like a shark’s than the teeth of the animal he’s supposed to represent. Aiha usually wears long and flowy robes, with no shoes or other accessories unless it’s absolutely necessary; if he could he’d definitely walk around wearing nothing at all, but unfortunately that is frowned upon, so he’s stuck with simple clothes.
Personality: Aiha, fickle as he is, tries not to be too obnoxious or flighty. At his core he’s full of fear and it shows in the way he reacts to things such as screams and displays of anger, in the way he flinches and shrinks when those things happen around him. He does his best to move past it, however, and usually the Aiha others see is nice, kind, a bit cocky even — a charismatic mixture of traits that Aiha has molded into a near-perfect mask so others won’t ask why he always seems so distant and detached from others. Truly, Aiha refuses to form bonds that are too intimate or personal; he keeps others at an arm’s distance from him even if they do want to become closer. It’s something Aiha can’t bring himself to do, not after a certain incident that took place so long ago. Aware of his own immortality and his peers’ lack of it, Aiha doesn’t want to make himself like someone too much, not when they can be taken away from him so quickly. He’s a bit of a quiet man, though he does speak a lot when prompted — it’s always about things that aren’t personal, however, and Aiha is rarely caught talking about himself. With a distant look in his eyes, Aiha always seems a little bit taciturn, like there’s something weighing him down, but he never talks about what such a thing could be. This will all build up into a dangerous explosion, however, as Aiha has nowhere to find solace in, and that lack of safety will make him lose his so well-crafted mask eventually.
Background: Aiha is the bastard child of a fox god; born from a human mother in the middle of winter, he was abandoned shortly after birth, for his mother was disgusted at the fact that Aiha wasn’t fully human. His father couldn’t come down from the gods’ realm to assist him, yet that didn’t stop him from influencing his son’s life. Aiha was protected from the harsh cold of winter by a pack of divine red foxes sent by his father to aid him, and they kept Aiha safe and happy until spring started and he was found by a small group of humans — asleep, lying under a cherry blossom tree, wrapped in soft linen. Seeing his little fox ears peeking out from the expensive fabric around him, the humans deemed Aiha a blessing from the fox god — Aiha’s father — they worshipped.
He was taken by this group to their home village, in which he was handed to a couple who couldn’t have children naturally. Aiha was barely a few months old by then, and his foster parents cared greatly for him. Yet, there seemed to be a problem with him: he couldn’t see. Aiha was born blind, his eyes colored a near-white shade of silver, and no matter how close or far an object was placed in front of him, he couldn’t detect it at all. That wasn’t a problem to his parents, they loved him all the same, but it did damage his ability to function; he needed to be watched over and guided constantly, as he couldn’t do much by himself in this initial stage of his life. Aiha managed to adapt, however — slowly getting used to certain habits and routines that, although different, helped him function by himself.
Aiha aged slower than his peers; as he grew from infant to child, his parents were already a little less than twenty years older than they were when he came into their lives. Aiha would begin to feel left out as the children he’d play with grew old while he only gained a few centimeters in height. This would cause Aiha to isolate himself a bit; he entered his early teen years as the children of his playmates were born and grew into toddlers. One day, during a fit of anguished crying, Aiha suddenly felt like his head had exploded — but that was only the awakening of his powers. Being abruptly surrounded by color and light and life around him while not knowing why, Aiha could only faint: and during this moment of unconsciousness, his father came to visit him in his dreams. Aiha was taught about his origins, his powers, and what he could do with them. Aiha… didn’t take it well. He didn’t want to be different from everyone around him; he begged the fox god to be turned into a normal human, but it was to no avail. Aiha eventually woke up, now more distraught than he had ever been before.
Having no option other than embracing his divine nature, Aiha began to adapt to his powers and to hone them. Aiha now spends all his time alone, locked in his room, testing himself: his limits, strengths and weaknesses, and how hard he could push himself before breaking down. Aiha understands himself very quickly: he knows he can ‘see’ and that living beings are drawn to him, but it’s not until a couple of weeks after the incident with his father that he learns of his future-seeing ability — in a rather dramatic way. Aiha gets a vision of a heavy carriage catching fire due to the products it was carrying; Aiha is a honest boy and tells his parents about it, but they dismiss it all the way up until the carriage is brought up in real life. Aiha tells its owner about the vision he had, and the owner takes his words but with a grain of salt. The carriage eventually catches fire — but the owner saves himself, thanks to Aiha’s warning.
[ TW:  cannibalism ] His village’s opinion of him changes, so suddenly it gives him whiplash. Aiha is seen as a savior, as a hero, as a prophet. His parents allow him to be taken to a different house, a bit deeper into the woods surrounding his village, so the villagers can set up a small shrine for him there. Aiha is worshipped, treated like a blessing and not the curse he saw himself as — but that came with a price. For the longest time Aiha couldn’t force or induce visions, and that angered the villagers that saw him as an instant future-seeing device. The villagers’ distorted vision of what Aiha is and what Aiha can do turn them — slowly, not too quickly — to cruelty and absurdity. Aiha is given sacrifices, meat from rare animals and flesh from unfortunate travelers who wandered too close to the village; he never accepts them, but he doesn’t have a choice on the matter. He’ll suffer harsher punishments if he doesn’t eat the sacrifices, after all.
Aiha now regrets ever telling the owner of that carriage about his vision. The cult that has formed around him is far too much for someone as young as him; he wants to escape, to run away, to be released from this place and never come back, and one day he gets that opportunity: in the shape of a young man who had been recently assimilated into Aiha’s cult. Aiha never learned the man’s name; he was too respectful to Aiha to even so much as put himself into equality with him by stating his name, but what Aiha did know is that this man cared about him in a way the rest of his cult never did and never would. The man and Aiha would meet up often and… talk, and relax, and sometimes he’d hold Aiha with such gentleness that it almost felt wrong, like Aiha didn’t deserve such a thing.
He’s eased into that softness and comfort so carefully that when he receives a proposal to run away with the man he had come to love, he almost rejects it right away — the way they were at that time felt too good to abandon. Aiha, however, is tempted with the prospect of never having to deal with his cult again, and he accepts the offer eventually. Alongside that offer, he’s given a ring made entirely out of a gemstone he can’t identify, and he clings to it all the way up until he and the man manage to escape the cult’s domain — and are caught shortly after. The man Aiha loved so much was then killed right in front of Aiha’s eyes, but at least Aiha wasn’t recaptured by the cult; his father came to his aid, appearing to the cult’s members and scaring them away.
Lost, feeling empty, and having nowhere to go, Aiha begs his father to take him out of his misery, to kill him so he can meet his lover again; his father refuses, and instead guides Aiha into a temporary shelter to keep him safe from the harsh winter that had just arrived into the land. The shelter in question is an empty shrine, far away from where Aiha’s cult was located, and in it Aiha finds a comfortable place to simply hide in for a while. Clinging to the ring he had been given, Aiha slowly went into a dormant state in which he stayed for many, many years, and during that time he didn’t dream; it was simply as if he had slipped into a void.
Aiha wakes up a couple hundred years later, surrounded by humans who were in awe at his form. Fearing they might have been another cult, he immediately tried to run away, but those humans proved themselves to be far less scary and strict than his cult was. They give him clothes, food, a comfortable bed; most importantly, they give him healthy human interaction, and now he lives in their small community like he’s one of them. Aiha can’t bring himself to forget the man that had tried to save him, however, and the anger he carries him his heart for his father and the humans that had rescued him so long ago now is so overwhelming sometimes that he feels like he’s going to explode, but… no one needs to know that.
Memento: The ring his lover gave him, made of a deep scarlet stone Aiha never identified. It’s perfectly smooth in surface and perfectly powerless in nature, as it is simply a reminder of the one he cared for the most.
Natural Abilities:
near-immortality — Aiha is unable to die from old age or illness. He can be killed through injuries or poisoning, but if he’s simply left to age, he’ll reincarnate when the time comes, or ascend into full and complete godhood.
ADDENDUM: While in Nelrunari, Aiha will be unable to ascend to full godhood.
enhanced senses — his other four senses are stronger, as if they were trying to compensate for his blindness. His hearing in particular is very good, but it may cause sensory overload sometimes.
clairvoyance — Aiha can see people, objects and events despite his lack of sight in a radius of approximately half a kilometer; he can’t ‘switch’ it on and off, but he can close his eyes and shut out visual stimulation like sighted people can. The things he sees aren’t completely realistic or crystal clear; they’re a bit blurry and depending on how saturated or bright his surroundings are he’ll get overwhelmed and feel pain, but most of the time he can use that ability to ‘see’ despite his blindness.
Power History:
future sight — as an oracle, Aiha is able to receive visions of the future: near or far, his own or someone else’s. He can induce them on his own, too, but that takes a bit more energy than the spontaneous visions do.
shapeshifting — specifically, Aiha can turn into a red fox, the two key differences between that form and a regular fox being its three tails and the black markings on its face, which mirror the red marks on Aiha’s face.
attractive aura — Aiha has a short-ranged, invisible aura that draws living beings to him, in different ways depending on who it is; he can’t control it or switch it off.
Extra: I teared up a little bit while writing his backstory I apologize for being this lame. His pinterest board is good……
