how am i supposed to process the fact that lilia's UM lets him see the memories etched into physical objects and yet despite all the tons of stuff he has in his room the one thing he wanted to make sure he took with him was the bracelet silver made for him when he was little. how am i supposed to process that even though lilia's magic is gone and he can no longer peer into all the memories imbued into that bracelet he probably doesn't even need his UM to do so, because all those memories are already tucked away safely deep in his heart

Did you hear story of king that made scholar of kingdom that he conquered his advisor? Scholar were wise person that swore to hate king till he perished. King came to him from time to time to get his input, since scholar had no fear of king and king needed to have his vision clear of ego.

One evening with glass of wine Doflamingo thinks that what brought his father down is his ego and having nobody who he will hear to tell him why his plan to live like a commoner is full of holes and not viable in that state. He himself come to that point with Corazon. Not like he didn't know how fishy his brother return were, but nevertheless he given him position of power instead of keeping him on arms length for at least time being.

So he makes Law his personal ego checker, since he smart, already hates him, but not big danger and Doffy know how to read him(that why you need ego checker Mingo, never underestimate chaotic kids hating you).

After getting the offer Law calls Doffy terminal idiot and does he know home many ways it go wrong? He gets "See you already good at it" in return.

Surprisingly it does make Doflamingo more stable person that in canon, cant call him better, but stabler nonetheless

My brain can think up 1 million and one ways to die or be tortured when I’m sleeping and dreaming and I’m just wondering like based on sheer odds I HAVE to have like a really good dream at one point right? If I just think about some sexy masked man saving me a bunch before I go to sleep I should theoretically dream up something similar right ? So far my research would suggest absolutely not 😂 he just turns into a giant dangerous antagonist. I find it comical even in the midst of my own suffering.

I know I don’t owe any of you anything but I still felt compelled to write about my long term absence. And I feel far enough away from the dangerous spot I was in to be able to make this comic. I have a therapist now, and she agreed that making this could be a very cathartic gesture, and the start of properly leaving these thoughts behind me. I am still, at seemingly random times, blindsided by fleeting desires to kill myself. They’re always passing urges, but it’s disarming, and uncomfortable. I worry sometimes that my brain’s spent so long thinking only about suicide that it’s forgotten how to think about anything else. Like, now that I've opened that door for myself, I'll never be able to fully shut it again. But I’m trying my best to encourage my mind in other directions. We'll see how that goes.

I am still donating all proceeds from my store to Palestinian causes. So far, I've donated over $15K, not including donations coming from my own pocket or the fundraising streams which jointly raised around $10K. In the time since I made my initial post about where this money would be going, the focus has shifted from aid organisations to directly donating to escape funds.

If you'd like to do the same, you can look at Operation Olive Branch, which hosts hundreds of Palestinian escape funds or donate to Safebow, which has helped facilitate the safe crossing and securing of important medical procedures for over 150 at-risk palestinians since the beginning of the genocide.

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything

#i personally like to not be doing things constantly at all times. it stresses me out #i know there are ppl who thrive on cosntant activity #but me i like to chill out. #and the problem then becomes that i only ACTIVELY remember to do work and Find More Work To Do when im stressed #at the thought that others might want to see me working #if im ever relaxed i just dont look for stuff to do #catch 22 of modern work culture which permeates even ostensibly noncapitalist structures like public libraries #for instance: will it really kill anybody if the books get shelved by me now after a very busy day? #or shelved tomorrow morning by. well probably me since i'll be the one at the desk #not in the slightest #but it was work that wasnt being immediately done by me. therefore it was incorrect behavior #that i failed to identify because my instinct is to relax when not immediately presented with a Situation #this got me labeled as 'having no initiative' by my dad from a very early age #and even as an adult i still feel like im a child with no initiative

See how in 2023 almost all of the reblogs come from the OP, from their few hours/days in the tag search. Meanwhile in 2014 the % of reblogs from OP is insignificant, because most of the reblogs come from the reblogs within the fandom, within the micro-communities formed there. You didn't need to rely on tags, or search, or being featured. Because the community took care of you, made sure to pass the work between themselves and onto their blog and exposed their followers to it. It kept works alive for years.

It's not JUST the reblog/like ratio that causing this issue, it's the type of interaction people have. They're content with scrolling and liking the search engine, instead of actually having a reblogging relationship with other blogs in their community.

Anyways, if you want to see more content you like, the only true way to make it happen is to reblog it. Likes do not forward content in no way but making OP feel nice. Reblogs on the other hand make content eternal. They make it relevant, they make it exist outside of a fickle tumblr search that hardly works on the best of days.

If you want more of something, reblog it.
