Omg imagine if one day Mycroft and Sherlock kinda start arguing and as a prank, Sherlock enters Mycroft on Come Dine with Me and he finds out 30 minutes before the other contestants are supposed to arrive.

When I started looking for Sherlock (BBC) fanfics, I first searched for the most obvious pairing: Johnlock.

But then I stumbled across Mylock, and it made a LOT of sense (and was super sweet) especially after TFP.

When I exhausted all the Mylock fics (yep, read pretty much everything I could find that wasn't explicitly smut only) I dipped into some Johnlock, but I didn't enjoy it as much.

Then, I discovered a pairing that I couldn't quite imagine: Mystrade. They hadn't shared that much screen time, and I didn't think they had anything in common except that they both worked for the Queen and were protective of Sherlock. Still, I thought I'd give it a try...

...and now Mystrade is my favorite ship from the show.

I've also realized Mycroft is my favorite character, and the reason I like Mystrade is because Greg is a sweetheart, and Mycroft deserves someone sweet who sees his goodness and gives him all the love and care he deserves but doesn't seem get from ANY of the other characters.

Well, there it is. The story of how I fell in love with Mycroft and Greg.
