Ohmygod look a Ghost. Ghostface posting ha??? How fuckin’ cool is that????? I think it’s pretty neat :)) And speaking of Ghostface I’ve gotten too fond of this man recently (besides my beloved Pyramid Head ofc), so I thought why tf not give it a whack and write something of this doofus??? And bc this is a first writing smth for Ghostface, I’ve decided go with DBD’s Ghostface, Danny Johnson because I found him pretty easy to navigate with lore-wise and much easier to invent things with this silly little man, (Stu Macher was one to come to mind but I decided no bc Danny looked more fun to write besides a Ghostface from Scream movie franchise). So yeah, anymore posts of this menace in the future is mainly going to be surrounding Danny Johnson.

OFF TOPIC NOTE BUT— recently I’ve been considering of maybe opening up requests with writing head canons and things for Pyramid Head and Ghostface for the fun of it besides mainly writing things for myself, a possibility some time in the future, but for now I’m sticking with reblogs and randomly writing things whenever an idea comes to me. Anyways moving onto my fucking shenanigans now—

It’s been some weeks then and unbeknownst to you, you had grabbed the attention of the infamous killer in Roseville.

Another few days in and you’re already noticing some peculiar shit going on. Some of your stuff’s missing, you found your lock on your door open, you got a strange call from somebody. Shit be getting pretty fuckin’ creepy and you’re not liking it one bit.

Ofc Danny wouldn’t give a shit— it’s all going so smoothly and according to plan! Sooner or later from there he’ll get to reveal himself as your stalker and the hunt officially begins once you pick up that phone.

It’s all going way too fuckin’ smooth, hell it’s smooth sailing for this man, and then he’ll cut to the chase and finally go in for the kill to immortalizing his next victim in his header for tomorrow’s papers.

BUT NO- apparently he underestimated you, fucking severely, and you ended up surviving his attack and the invasion into the personal space of your very own home. Danny was shocked overall, he’d least expect you to be shitting your pants from fear, because everybody in Roseville would know about his reputation.

Of course Danny was pretty pissed, a smart one that you are. But at the same time, after watching you countlessly and seeing you in action, he found you rather interesting in some ways.

And now he’s stalking you almost every night — for different reasons of course. He had the rule for himself to never get attached to any of victims but he couldn’t resist this magnetic pull towards you for some reason. Of course he might still try to kill you here and there, otherwise where’s the fun if he’s not keeping you on your toes???

He’s making this shit confusing for you, you don’t know if he’s either wanting to kiss you or kill you, hell, it could be both.

And you shouldn’t be surprised at all due to the fact that this mf’s going to be showing up at your house guaranteed. You might tell him to buzz off but he won’t. :)

Even though he knows your name he’s already coming at ya with the fuckin’ nicknames, like: Bunny, little mouse, brat (lovingly), babes, sweetheart, literally anything he could think of for you.

Obsessive behaviour be really fucking cooking.

Overtime you somehow got used to Ghostface’s looming presence no matter how much of a flirtatious nuisance he is and it sort of sprouted into a weird dynamic from there.

And Danny on the other hand is obviously not getting bored of you at all any time soon, it’s never going to fucking happen bae. But you still find him annoying most of the time whenever he comes swinging by. And now you have Roseville’s infamous serial killer utterly fond with you and never letting you go. Can’t have shit in fuckin’ Roseville. >:((

Ficlet: O that I were a glove upon that hand

(Because Tom doing Romeo at VogueWorld 2023 gave me some feelings and Ferdie is often in his Venice Preserv'd look in my head... although with longer hair.)

This has, perhaps, gone too far.

Let's back up.

Everyone in the department, most people on campus, and – because of a viral video of him going off at the director during a dress rehearsal of a Shakespeare in the Park performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream – a damned large swath of London all know of Dr. Robert Gadling's particular and peculiar hate of the Bard. It is what makes this whole thing incredibly frustrating.

Gifts. Hob has been getting gifts. Left for him in conspicuous places, each more finely crafted and expensive than the last. And each with a goddamned Shakespearean love sonnet on it.

If it wasn't for the nature of the gifts themselves Hob would be absolutely certain someone was taking the piss. (Jo, that would probably be Jo.)

But each gift is so bloody thoughtful; carefully chosen with an uncannily tuned awareness to Hob’s personal needs and tastes. This person either really cares for him or… well, he would think the person a possible stalker except that everything they have done relates to something that has happened in public, with full easy access for many people to make a judgment that Hob likes or needs something. 

There have been six of them now. And aside from the fact that Hob’s living room wall now looks like all those movies where the authorities are frantically tracking a serial killer, complete with a map of London and lots of red sharpie, he is rather… flattered? 

It has been a long time since… well. The anniversary of Eleanor's death will be rounding on eight years this winter. 

Hob thinks he has worked out a pattern to when he gets the gifts, is like 80% confident he can guess when they have gotten placed in each location, from his university office, to the men’s dressing room at the White Horse Community Theater, to his usual table at the New Inn. Add to that his approximately 60% confidence in the reasoning behind the temporal spacing of the gifts, and he is ready to roll the dice.

He locks up his office a tick early, as usual on Thursdays, and makes all appearances to head home before going to that evening’s rehearsal. But as soon as he gets home he is donning a new hoodie no one has seen him wear before, slinking back out the garden door, over the hedge, and jogging to the theater. Hob closes himself into the darkness of the men’s dressing room a solid two hours before anyone is scheduled to be anywhere near the place. 

And he waits. 

Hob is good at waiting.

He is crouched where he will be behind the door when it opens, but this puts him immediately next to some of the accessories storage for costuming for this show. And oh, they have gotten in a new pair of leather gloves for him.

Just because he is good at waiting doesn’t mean that he never gets bored. 

Hob slips on the new gloves and works his hands in them. These will be perfect to swordfight in, fantastic.

And then the door creaks open. 

He freezes and watches, only the sliver of light coming from the hallway to help him. A masculine figure, slim, in a peacoat, walks silent as a hunting cat to the second chair from the far wall, just where Hob usually gets ready. 

A hand runs softly across the back of the chair once before a small box is left on the tabletop. Then as quietly as they came in, the person turns to leave. 

Just before they get to the open door Hob pounces.

There is a shout and a scuffle, the two men – for it is another man, of that Hob has no doubt – grappling as one tries to escape and the other hold on.

Which is how Hob ends up with his black leather-gloved hands wrapped around the pale swan neck of his longest friend. 

They haven’t seen each other in… fuck, it feels like more than a hundred years. And they had not parted on good terms. 

“Christ, Dream?” Hob pants out the nickname but does not let go. 

Diamond-sharp blue eyes that could belong only to one person stare at him from beneath heavy lids. He parts his lips to speak, but at the same time Hob shifts the grip of his hands and any words Dream was going to say get lost in a breathtakingly thready moan. 

Barely a heartbeat later they meet in the middle, Hob’s hands going to the back of Dream’s head and Dream’s arms going around his shoulders and their mouths fit together like goddamned puzzle pieces and Hob knew, he fucking knew, it would be like this. 

They knock over no less than two chairs, collapse against a wall for a minute, then one of them pushes off and they are almost going ass over tea kettle onto the couch. A bit of quick footwork on Hob’s part and they are on the opposite side of the room.

By the time Hob has Dream sitting on the vanity they have gotten their shirts off and his bare back slams into the mirror’s surface, sliding and squeaking with the thin sheen of sweat. He gets his hands under Dream’s thighs, hikes him up to grind their clothed erections together, and once Dream has his legs wrapped around Hob’s hips he brings one hand to his mouth to pull off the gloves.

An unsteady hand grabs his wrist. “Leave them on.” Dream’s voice is even lower than Hob remembers it. 

There is fumbling to get flies open and then Hob has his hand wrapped around both their cocks and is pumping. Dream’s fingers are now tugging on Hob’s hair, his body arching prettily as Hob gets his lips and tongue onto that beautiful neck.

Hob is about to be embarrassed by how quickly he is nearing completion when Dream pulls him into a kiss, moaning into his mouth as he shudders through his orgasm. 

“Come with me, Hob,” is whispered against his lips and Hob is absolutely lost to it, shouting into Dream’s collarbone.

They are still panting, large heaving breaths, when Dream tugs Hob’s hand up from where it is wrapped around their spent pricks so that he can lick the leather clean. Hob watches that pink tongue dance between his fingers and his cock almost twitches in interest. He huffs a laugh and takes Dream’s chin in his grip, pulls their mouths back together so that he can speak against them. 

“Hello, Stranger.”

"Good morning! Welcome in!" You smiled, waving at the tall broad long dark haired man. You noticed him come into the bakery every morning, grabbing the same thing he did every morning, a crossaint and a black coffee. "Same as usual." You cheerly said, as he went to check out. The man hummed, fishing out the cash from his wallet, setting it on the counter. He was handsome, tall, buff, and his jaw was perfectly chiseled, it was almost as if he had been handcrafted by God himself.

"Be careful pretty, I heard there has been some disturbing activity over here." He said gruntly. You had never really heard him speak so much, hearing his voice sent shivers down your spine. "Of course, thank you Sir!" You smiled. "Suguru." He smirked, "Oh, I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you Mr. Suguru." You waved, after handing him his food and coffee.

You were not oblivious to the people who kept coming up missing, and found a mile down the road, sluaghtered to pieces. There was always a little note on the indivuals. "She is mine." You had noticed after the 5th man to be murdered horrifically that these men were all men who came into your bakery and tried hitting on you. Tonight was one of those nights, as you tried locking up the bakery to get going home, and feed your two cats, a slender man had been waiting for you. "Hey pretty lady, you closing?" He snickered. "Um- yes sir, we reopen at 7AM. Feel free to come back then." You smiled, locking the door, and walking away. You had pulled your pepper spray out, and sped walked to your apartment that was down the street.

“Let me walk you home pretty.” The slender man said in a purr. “I’m okay. I can surely walk fine on my own.” You nervously said, walking faster. “You scared?” He chuckled, grabbing you by your wrist, as you tried to open the door to your apartment building. “I’m really okay, please leave me alone.” You huffed, walking into the apartment building and going to the elevator.

The slender man walked into the elevator as it was closing, “Sir, please leave me be.” You started to shake, grabbing your pepper spray. “I’m just walking a lady home, that’s all.” He smirked, getting dangerously close to you. You aimed the pepper spray at him, and as you were about to spray, he snatched it from your hand. At that moment, the elevator door opened, and you ran out as fast as possible, you darted for your door, yelling. “PLEASE HELP ME!” You feared what the man would do to you if you didn’t get help. As you raced to your door, and were fidgeting for your keys, the tall broad man you had seen every single day for a whole year was standing at the door next to yours. Neighbors maybe? “Help me please.” You cried running behind Suguru. “Someone chasin you?” He muttered, seeing the man walk to you with a knife in hand. “Ah, I just wanted to walk the pretty lady to her door, but the little bitch wanted to pepper spray me. You don’t wanna have fun?” He snickered. Suguru opening his front door, walking in. At this point, you couldn’t see nor think. Your keys were jumbled and you felt your blood run cold as the man got closer. As you finally opened your door, you went to shut it, but you didn’t make it in time. The slender man had gotten himself inside. He held the knife to your throat.

“How about you shut that trap of yours, or maybe I should shut it for you?” He chuckled. Grabbing you by your neck. “P-please let me go.” You cried. “Oh I love how pretty girls cry, cry with my cock down your throat.” He laughed. Just a moment later his laughter changed to choking, and the only thing you saw was blood spurting from his throat. You looked past the slender man, and saw Suguru’s figure behind, holding a hunting knife. “Is that how you talk to a lady?” He muttered, grabbing the man by his nape and stabbing him over and over. You stood there in shock. You had blood that had gotten on your clothes and hands. You couldn’t scream, you couldn’t hear, you stayed silent and cried. You had dropped to your knees, watching Suguru brutally murder the man. Next thing you knew, you watched two men take the body from your home and disappear. While Suguru stood there and wiped the blood from his hands and face.

“You alright doll?” He asked unphased. You couldn’t speak, you watched as he walked to your cabinet and grabbing cup. How did he know which cabinet? Was it luck? He poured you water from your water dispenser on your fridge, handing it to you. “Here, drink.” He smiled.

“I-“ you stuttered out. “Hush, drink. Talk after.” He said. “There is two men outside your apartment complex, and stationed at every fire exit. Don’t try to run. I’m gon’ go take a shower.” He said, walking into your bathroom and taking a shower.

You sat there on the ground until he came back, when he came back, you had ran to the kitchen, grabbing knife. “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?” You cried. “You.” He plainly said. “What!” You cried, confused. “I want you.” He said again. “What does that even mean?” You said confused. “I have watched you every single day for a year, you have captured my attention and time. I have watched you, studied you, and I have found myself entranced by your innocence. I’m going to take you away from this place, and you’re going to live to serve me, and I will live to serve you.” He said in an almost growl. “Serve you! Leave here? I’m staying right here!” You were so scared of what this man could do to you. “I’m not going to hurt you unless you give me a reason to. That little knife there is one of the reasons. So if I were you, I would put it down. I just saved you didn’t I?” He questioned. You felt your heard skip a beat. “Listen here, I could force that puny knife out of your hand, and forcefully take you with me, or you could be a good girl, and leave with me willingly, and you don’t have to get hurt.” He said with a serious tone. “I’m not leaving with you!” You shouted. “Listen here doll, I know where your mom, dad, little brother, and even your dear old grandma lives. Either come with me, or I’ll slit all of their throats in front of you.” He grunted. You gasped, letting go of the knife, and it falling on the ground. “That’s a good girl.” He smirked. “I’m gonna have fun with you.” He added, throwing you over his shoulder and walking to your bed, tossing you on it.

“Undress and sleep. We leave in the morning.” He smiled, kissing your forehead and walking out the room.

I’ve compiled a list of acceptable reasons for Enid to be Wednesday’s stalker because I keep seeing it as one of the main theories, but Enid’s too baby girl to be the bad guy and she also clearly loves her roommate too much to actually harm her (she risked her life to save Wednesday why would she hurt her???) but these options could work:

1) She spent all of last semester jealous of Tyler and once she found out he was the Hyde she had the stupid idea to make Wednesday hunt her for the new semester purely for the attention.

2) She was worried Wednesday wouldn’t return after the break and thought if she stalked her the mystery would have a strong enough appeal to convince Wednesday to come back to Nevermore.

3) She realised she was in love with Wednesday and thought that this would be a good way to seduce her.

4) Thing convinced her it would be funny.

5) She’s planning to frame Xavier because she’s sick of him hitting on her girl.

6) She asked Yoko for advice on how to ask Wednesday out and Yoko sarcastically replied with “idk stalk her” but Enid thought she was serious and by the time she realised that she wasn’t she was already in far too deep to stop.

7) Wednesday figures it out within a week after her ‘stalker’ preceded to both ask her if she liked girls and if she thought her roommate was pretty. Wednesday then reply’s with, ‘You’re very beautiful Enid’ and she’s so happy that Wednesday thinks she’s beautiful that it takes her three day to realise that she called her Enid…

8) Wednesday’s complete lack of self preservation while hunting monsters and serial killers triggers her anxiety and she’s tired of the constant stress over whether or not her girls going to live through the night. So she comes up with an elaborate stalking plan to keep Wednesday happy and distracted while preventing her from attracting the attention of someone who actually means her harm.

That’s all I could come up with in the 5 minutes after I decided to make this post but you’ll should definitely send me any of your ideas though…

Of course, there's a couple of DNFs in there which inflate this number somewhat, but I am absolutely not going to pick through and count them out. Plus, a DNF only gets included on the list if I've gotten through a significant portion of the book. If it's a page one no-no, it's not even worth mentioning.

I made the decision at the start of this year, to try out more books I'd never heard of before. I really like trawling through the library app, or through audible's free archives and finding stuff that I'd probably never normally have discovered. Also, revisiting books that I read a long time ago and seeing if they resemble my memories of them.

Overall, I think this was a very satisfying year of reading, and I hope that I enjoy 2024's reads just as much!

American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing Documentary Trailer Revisits Tragedy for 10th Anniversary

Netflix has released the trailer for its latest true crime docuseries, American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing. It revisits one of the darkest days in modern Boston history — and the extremely intense investigation to find those responsible that followed.

The three-part docuseries will be released on April 12, three days before the 10th anniversary of the bombing on April 15, 2013.

On that fateful day during the annual Boston Marathon, two brothers named Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev carried out a domestic terrorist attack, detonating a bomb near the finish line that killed three people and injured hundreds more.

“Patriots’ Day in Boston is a time to celebrate: Spring is in the air, the Red Sox play at Fenway, and the whole town turns out to cheer the Boston Marathon’s journey from the suburbs to the center of the city. When two home-grown terrorists bombed the marathon’s finish line in 2013, the biggest party of the year exploded into carnage, and as law enforcement launched an unprecedented investigation into the bombers’ identities, their pursuit spilled over into the streets of formerly-quiet neighborhoods, paralyzing the city and gripping our post-9/11 world,” reads Netflix’s synopsis of the docuseries.

From director Floyd Russ (Malice at the Palace) and executive producer Tiller Russell (Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer, Waco: American Apocalypse) the series relives the “tense, terrifying days that followed the attacks, assembling a minute-by-minute recounting of the manhunt from thousands of hours of closed-circuit video, police radio, and cell phone footage, as well as testimony from the police officers, FBI agents, and ordinary citizens whose heroics led to the killers’ capture,” the synopsis adds.

“Offering historical context, expert insight, and emotional details from those who knew the bombers personally, American Manhunt tells the full story of how the people of Boston came together in their darkest hour to reclaim their city – and the men and women whose lives will never be the same.”

Another nugget of stupidity from the ‘His M.O. was No M.O.’ files.

‘Climaxing!’

Carrillo had learned through his detective studies that some killers are sexually aroused by seeing fear in their victims’ eyes. On podcasts, he cogitates for far too long at the idea of Richard Ramirez reaching orgasm: ‘He was orgasming!’ ‘Climaxing!’ ‘Foreplay!’. Alongside the bullets and the ridiculous links set out in this post, he also speculated that the murders of Okazaki and Yu were committed by the same man because ‘Richard Ramirez’ wanted to see fear in their eyes. “That was sex to him,” he declares.

Carrillo does not actually know what happened. He claims the killer banged on a car to attract Maria Hernandez’s attention (though she said it was an undefinable noise) specifically to see her scared expression. He claims Richard went up into Okazaki’s kitchen and waited for her to peep over the breakfast bar before shooting her (again, speculation). He then claimed that when the killer walked past Hernandez outside, he decided not to shoot her a second time because she no longer had fear in her eyes.

Wait – what? Why would Hernandez not have fear in her eyes? She had just been shot in the hand and was bleeding. She had heard her friend being shot and had no idea whether she would find her dead or alive. And here was the shooter, pointing the gun at her face for the second time… and she did not show fear?

Carrillo claims that Richard turned Tsai-Lian Yu around to see the fear in her eyes before he shot her. There was no proof this man – described as short and Asian – was Richard, yet Carrillo somehow knows what the Night Stalker was feeling when he shot this woman.

The next murder was a couple: Maxine and Vincent Zazzara. Maxine’s eyes were removed, so presumably, the killer did not enjoy seeing the fear in her eyes that much.

Then there were the four rape victims:

Carol Kyle testified that the rapist threatened to cut her eyes out if she looked at him. He covered her head with a pillow. (She did manage to see his nice straight teeth though).

Sophie Dickman said he put a towel and a pillow over her head, (but was able to see he was short to average height).

Somkid Khovananth said he put a coat over her head (luckily, she was able to identify a man with dark curly hair and a ‘brown face’).

Sakina Abowath was blindfolded (but not before she glimpsed a blondish man) and he hit her for looking at him.

Hold on a minute… did the modus operandi just change? How did the man who became excited from seeing Okazaki, Hernandez and Yu’s terror suddenly change into the man who gouges women’s eyes out, threatens others with the same, or covers victims’ faces and demands that they do not look at him?

One might argue that those rapes were different because the Night Stalker never intended to kill those women, so his fear-fetish was not present – which seems odd. Violent rape and burglary at gunpoint are terrifying – surely, he would be in his element? But no, he did not want to see their faces, not even to help him get an erection after he was unable to at the Dickman Incident. Hardly a sexual fetish then…

However, if he really cared about being seen, he would have shot them; he had a gun; after all, he had killed the husbands of two of the rape victims.

The Night Stalker ‘celebrity’ detectives like to state that Richard’s M.O. was no M.O., but that is clearly an excuse for their lazy policing; they cannot have it both ways. You either have a man who gets off on seeing women terrified or a man who hates being looked at. He cannot be both.

Furthermore, he cannot have nine different looks, five different heights, three different body types, four different hair colours, and three different sets of teeth.

The Night Stalker was multiple people and not one of them seems to be Richard Ramirez.

Wow this second installment of the Beautiful Nightmare Series is phenomenal. I did not think the series could get better than the original book, but I was wrong. This one is my favorite by far. I absolutely loved Lathan and Evanee's story.

The Bear and Fearless have struck again, bringing together Latham and Evanee. When Latham comes to the rescue of Evanee everything is set into motion and their journey begins. They have many obstacles ahead of them as they try and find a serial killer and keep Evanee safe from her step brother.

This book is a non-stop adrenaline rush from the very first chapter. The main characters are perfect for each other and have a very unique and special bond. Latham is a very unusual character with a secret kept tightly under wraps. Evanee is a very damaged and scared woman. She has endeared so much, as has Latham. Their pasts really are what makes them so special.

Overall this book was a fast paced dark thriller. It has danger around every corner. The characters are unique and have very special talents unlike any other. The author has created very unique skill sets and a dangerous world for her characters and their stories. This book is hard to put down and is a very twisted and wicked story. I highly recommend it for all you crime fiction fanatic's.

This book has many triggers that you should be aware of, such as kidnapping, physical and sexual abuse.

Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer Review

I watched the documentary, Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer, episode 1. A big question is why are serial killers the way they are. This documentary runs you through what this killer nicknamed the “Night Stalker” did. There are men (Sherman Block, Detective Gil Carrillo, and Detective Frank Salerno) from the LA county Sheriff in the homicide bureau who worked on the case explain what went down and walking you through what the Night Stalker had done. The documentary showed news reports in the LA county that went on air at the time of this killer, there were clips of residents talking about how scared they felt when all of this was going on. The documentary even had survivors of the Night Stalker talk and explain their experiences with him. This documentary is in chronological order of the events that happened with the Night Stalker.

The documentary attempts to answer the question of why serial killers are the way they are is because of deviance. For example, this killer seemed to have the fantasy of seeing fear in others. He waited to see fear in the people he killed before he killed them. One example is, the Night Stalker shot at a girl, but she didn’t die, when she ran into him a second time, he pointed a gun at her expecting her to show fear, but instead she said please don’t shoot me you already shot at me once. Because this interaction did not cause fear in the girl, he put the gun down and simply walked away.

The documentary sets up the homicide detectives as the heroes who are looking for and trying to catch this killer, with obviously portraying the killer to be as evil as he was. While watching this documentary you can tell how much they rely on sounds to show mood. Right off the bat the documentary gives you this very creepy and eerie feeling. The background music is very creepy and menacing, along with that the screen is becoming glitchy and cutting out.  A lot of the time they are playing creepy and eerie music to scare you and give you chills, like the chilling actions this killer did. But when the “hero”, homicide detective Gil Carrillo was talking about his childhood and start of his career the music was calmer and more somber. You could relax a little bit and feel more comfortable when he was talking about himself compared to when he talks about the Night Stalker. If they are talking about the Night Stalker killing and shooting someone, you sometimes get this strong and loud gunshot noise, which leaves you feeling startled just like the victims did when they heard that.

The imagery and lighting are also very intense. There are cut scenes to bloody murder weapons when talking about what type of weapon the Night Stalker used to kill a specific victim or even just a scene of dripping blood. Along with when they talk about the victim you get a black cut scene with the victim’s name and age they died in a bold white, just black and white staring you in the face. It's like it is saying here are the cold hard facts you cannot ignore that this happened. They also used real police photographs of the crime scene and the victim, which is very terrifying to see, because it truly puts the words into real life. The lighting throughout the documentary is dark and dreary, no bright lights, this makes sure to keep the mood eerie. Sometimes the screen also glitches out and makes a loud glitching noise. If anything, ever becomes glitchy in a horror movie, you know that it is scary or is going to become scary. When they use the glitching effect it does make you feel afraid, especially with the fact that you know this was a real horror and something that did happen. It is not just coming from some horror movie.
