Nintendo Live was an absolute blast! I had so much fun taking in all the game demos, the concerts, and the many cool and silly photo ops in Link. I was also so stoked to finally see the Link statue in person after having stared at photos of it for months 😂

I hope to attend another Nintendo Live event again in the future!

The Team Fortress 2 Cosplay Community Meetup at PAX West is officially scheduled for Saturday at 12:30pm!

The meetup is going to take place in the community room at the convention center summit. I don't have a reference as to where that is at the moment, but as we get closer to September, I'm sure I'll have a map to show.

More details and rambles below:

While I have been doing most of these the old school way by planning a meetup on my own and helping spread the word through word of mouth, PAX West has specifically requested that I create an officially scheduled meetup for the sake of security and convenience. I have a panel at PAX West on Saturday at 2:00pm, so unfortunately my usual tradition of taking a few of the remaining cosplayers around the convention center won't be happening. But the benefit of an officially planned and scheduled meetup is there's more likely going to be more people thanks to the official advertising!

I'm hoping to have a big meetup this year, as there are less events happening this year and I have a full weekend pass thanks to my status as a panelist. While I wish the TF2 VAs would be here this year, it does unfortunately look like we won't have them featured. But there's still a chance Gary, John, and Ellen might be able to spare some time to attend the convention not as featured guests since they live here in Seattle. Gary did it for ECCC! But honestly, that's a pipe dream of mine.
