Pokeddexy Day 28: Cutest Pokemon

so remember when i said i was getting a bit too ambitious with these prompts and they were taking way too long to do? well i blame this piece! i was entranced by the idea of a preppy, retro piplup schoolboy, but once i sketched him, i thought, well, turtwig is pretty cute, too. and then once turtwig was there, i couldn't leave out chimchar! the sinnoh starters were just too adorable for me not to draw all of them on their walk to school!

This bitch was the hardest to design because he doesn’t have a sona and I didn’t have as much freedom as I do with a Piplup gijinka because I wanted to incorporate elements of K. Rool and Reinhardt. I want to remake the cape or at least mess around with its design.

Also while googling images of Reinhardt for reference I could only think of him as Brent, so I think I made the right call on what to mostly base his design off of

Slowly dropping pokemon gijinka lore

First up is the IRON claw gang. A gang made up mostly of pokemon who can learn the move metal claw

It is co-lead by the metal type pair Tendou the Bisharp and Miho the Skarmory there is rumors of a third leader who is a Metagross who has never been seen

Besides those two Tendou has a nephew he keeps close who hopes to join once he evolves but now is just a snot nose 19 year old named Poppy the Piplup also the gangs accountant and money man Question the Unown

Most of the other rank and file street members of the gang are Pawniards and Alolan Sandshrews
