I'm watching Merlí Sapere Aude's 2nd season and really... the whole vih story makes no sense and believe me, I love drama for the sake of drama, I was raised watching telenovelas... but this... and the other characters?? They don't exist! Rai doesn't have a personality anymore, Oti is now bestie with Pol? What's going on? Axel, until now, it's the best thing happening. And yes, I'm not even going to start on how much you need Bruno in the story because i knew he wasn't appearing but it just- how can you have that story line and think... un yeah this makes sense and yeah no Bruno needed at all.

i absolutely hate saying french people are better at something, because a lot of the times, it's def not true. but this time around, they did better than others. Merli, original, had Pol and Bruno chase each other for three seasons without much acknowledgment from Pol about his feelings for Bruno, and it went on with the spin off. Un Professore had Bruno/Simone start off in a straight relationship and barely share a kiss with Pol/Matteo, who clarifies he's not gay. But La Faute à Rousseau?? They have Bruno/Théo be unashamedly gay (altho scared to come out to one of his BFF), fall in love with Pol/Paul who also falls for him and it's like clear. And they have the prettiest kiss and sex scenes. And season 2 has Pol/Paul struggling with being in a gay relationship but still being in love big time. Where France fails is that the show has been cancelled and we can't have season 3 T.T
