Sinéad O'Connor, Throw Down Your Arms CD (2005).

A fascinating reggae album, recorded at Tuff Gong and Anchor Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, and produced by Sly & Robbie. I've read a lot of stupid opinions about this record, but I think that O'Connor excelled at interpreting these songs because she was aware that they are perfect pieces. Sadly it's not on Spotify.

What I loved:

The different music styles and genres, never sticking to a single style and, in Janelle's unique way, making it all a cohesive and enjoyable experience regardless

Janelle's versatility as a vocalist, adapting her style to many different genres and sounds

What I didn't love:

Way too sexy for my comfort at times. 😅😭
