I also like Owain x Severa because their S Support in Awakening is really cute, and I like that Severa canonically wrote Owain's name into her sword because he was always nice to her, whether or not they get together fr.

I don't have an opinion on the other ships, unfortunately!

1. This is a tough one because normally even if I don't like a ship I have enough awareness to at least understand why some people do.... I mean I guess something like Virion x Sully because I just don't get chemistry between them. Kjelle x Severa because I just didn't like how Kjelle is uncomfortable with how Severa is trying to change her and the fact the ship is partly based on Kjelle getting drunk and harassing Severa. Ophelia x Soleil because those supports are just creepy. I just don't see the appeal of these ships.

5. Yes. Hector x Lyn. I was never massive on it to begin with but the way it's shippers insisted it was canon and the best thing since sliced bread just soured me on it significantly.

26. Virion. I ship him with like half the Awakening cast. Robin, Lissa, Olivia, Panne, Tharja etc. Also I don't get a bi vibe from him at all but him and Libra is brotp. Also probably super biased since Virion is my favourite Awakening character.

when I started shipping it if I didI think I started shipping them as soon as I read the scramble supports, aka “Kjelle gets drunk and talks about how much she loves Severa” djhfdjfh

my thoughts:I love them SO SO SOS OSO MUCH LIKE ONE OF MY SEV OTPS they’re just. a hilarious and really sweet couple. i love how much kjelle loves her despite her flaws,and I love that Severa is pouty about it but genuinely loves having a big friendly pal

What makes me happy about them:Just that they love each other so much. their canon interactions are SO GAY and tbh i just think someone like Kjelle is really good for sevsev...i love that they’re size difference, butch/femme ship, big tanky paladin and tiny reckless bastard

What makes me sad about them:They both have a lot of burdens thats good grounds for angst and

things done in fanfic that annoys me:Uhhhh I mean in general I hate when Severa is Too Tsun about her relationships/love interests

things I look for in fanfic:Any fic that characterizes Kjelle as Jock Butch Horndog is the funniest fucking thing

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Either with Lucina, Sev with Noire, Kjelle with Cynthia

( Ah yes, my rarepair! They have only one canon interaction but hot damn is it one of my favorite ones Cynthia can have! Unlike (sadly) every other second gen interaction, Kjelle in their Hot Spring Scramble conversation never says anything demoralizing to Cynthia, or insulting, or snide, or could be taken the wrong way - absolutely nothing negative! She talks to Cynthia with respect and even kindness!! And that makes me cry!!! )

( And to make matters more interesting - it reveals that when they were children Kjelle literally jumped in front of a blow for Cynthia. She almost died so that Cynthia wouldn’t. Kjelle was her hero, and Kjelle continues to support Cynthia’s quest to become a great hero. )

( The only other canon interactions are the Drama CD - where Cynthia gets upset when Kjelle says she doesn’t want to go to the past - and Futures Past - where Cynthia gets so upset when Kjelle gives up and finally breaks down and admits that maybe this is hopeless but she’s not giving up - so everything else that follows is my headcanon )

( And my headcanon is - Cynthia loves Kjelle - because Kjelle is strong, and respected, and brave, and beautiful; she saved her life and she continues to be a bastion of support in her life. She does hate how Kjelle treats their friends, and when she hears about the (canon) time Kjelle drank a truth potion and proceeded to call Severa beautiful and say that she wanted to date her, it does break her heart a little - but she loves Kjelle. Kjelle was her hero. Her champion. She’s only alive because Kjelle was in her life. )
