Starts off great! Unfortunately it falls under the ‘by midway it gets draggy and progressively gets more draggy,’ category. It’s still watchable in a way, a bit cliche, fluffy, although forgettable. Main leads have top notch chemistry while I thought the secondary characters were sometimes skippable. So I kept my fast forward button handy and skipped quite a lot making it more of a easier watch for me.

I love taituk they’re so funny. they’re simultaneously really cool and capable and. kind of a loser. wet cat of a woman (not actually a woman). a dykefag AND a fagdyke. they can’t tell when people are flirting with them and suaveness is Not in their vocabulary. everyone wants them and they’re involved with quite literally every crew member their age. their reaction to there being “men’s work” and “women’s work” is “I will simply do everything. all of the work.” they’re fine with the concept & reality of death but thinking about killing somebody with their own hands makes them physically ill. they will quite literally heal their enemies so they don’t die. they’re eldestsiblingcore but only see their siblings like. twice a year. they could be stabbed and bleeding out and their only reaction would be “ugh now my favourite jacket will be stained :/”. they don’t know what’s going on at any given moment. they’ve been permanently banned from the ship’s kitchen even though they’re the captain. by god they’re even transgender. they’ve even got long hair

A white-collar worker goes through a bittersweet phase after she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, and eventually gets her true love.

The movie takes its time to show how her feelings develop. That happens slower than in many other relationship films, but it feels much more real. At times it's also a little sentimental, but that again is how it feels during such a time.

What I really enjoyed was the low-key humour and the funny interactions between the two leads. A very pleasant watch.

Comprehensive Biography of Que Xuan

Que Xuan (闕宣; d. 193) was a military general who was associated with Tao Qian. He declared himself the Emperor of China, but after suffering multiple defeats by Cao Cao, was betrayed and killed by Tao Qian.

Ancestry

Que Xuan was from Xiapi Commandery.[1][2]

Life

Around Summer 193, Que Xuan amassed an army of thousands and declared himself the Son of Heaven, most likely taking advantage of the rampant chaos in China.[1][2] He and the Governor of Xu Province; Tao Qian allied, taking Hua and Fei Counties from Taishan Commandery as well as plundering Rencheng Commandery. The Governor of Yan Province; Cao Cao launched an expedition against both Que Xuan and Tao Qian for their behavior. Cao Cao was able to achieve many victories while Que Xuan had no recorded victories against Cao Cao.[1] Tao Qian, viewing his 'Emperor' ally as now useless, soon killed Que Xuan, and absorbed his troops.

"I've liked you for quite some time now" fell from their lips, somewhat boldly even, the sudden confession made your heart skip a beat. A kiss placed on their lips was all the answer that they needed.
