Whilst I’ve yet to play Alan Wake 2 yet (My bro is getting me it for Christmas), it’s been on my mind a lot lately, especially the Dark Presence itself

I know the Dark Presence/Barbara does take a physical form as an old lady but I love the idea of a dark haunting beauty with deer parts and a water-like gown??? Like I love the idea that she wears a veil but imagine a veil that looks (or is) water so she looks like she’s constantly under. The idea of this beautiful and kind muse becoming an equally beautiful corrupted creature is fun idea (I’m a sucker for the were-deer idea in the Bright Falls series too)

I wanted to make references to Nightless Night with the flowers and her dress to put salt in the wound for Tom even more. Also references to the original Baba Yaga by also have some type of animal leg (Deer instead of chicken though). Her dress is filled with pages from Alan and film reels from Tom.

I’ve kinda thought it would be a fun idea to cosplay! With little marionettes of Alan, Alice, Tom, Mr Scratch and probably Saga and Casey when I get to playing AW2! (This would play into her being a actress and essentially being a puppet and now puppeteering others)

A crowded street, sounds of car horns, smell of piss. All the little things made you miss New York.

It's been 8 months since you left the city. It wasn't your choice to be exact. You left because the head of the police demoted you from detective to traffic police. 

You want to protest but it's impossible since your opponent is the powerful mob in the city. 

Steve Rogers is the king of the mafia. His power in business, politics and network in the underworld made him unbeatable. No one can bring him down. 

Until you did. 

You found the drugs and weapons that connected to Rogers. You got him good. And the media and citizens also support you. 

But you have no support when it comes to law and politics. The almighty Steve Rogers has given money to the judge and governor that could give them a third family. He also paid the best lawyer. 

In the end, he only spent 3 nights in jail and went home. While you got sent to the outskirts city. You hate your boss and everyone. It took a while for you to accept the new life you have.

When you started to let it go, you suddenly got a call from the chief of police. 

-Flashback Start-

He said, "Steve Rogers got stabbed."

You don't understand what's the point he told you this "Cheers for me. You want me to attend his funeral? I will wear white."

"He's still alive."

You scoffed "Too bad."

"He's a victim but he doesn't want to talk. He said that he only wants to talk to you."

-Flashback End-

That's why you return to New York. You want to see the look on his face, being pale and weak after getting hurt.

But before that, you're going to buy flowers. A gift for sick patients. You picked a perfect one for him. At the flower shop, you pointed at one flower. "I want that one."

The shop employee is an elderly woman. Her name is Sienna. You've known her since you were a kid. She's a joyful and funny grandma. 

Sienna raised her eyebrows and looked at the flower you chose. She picked the flowers one by one. "That's an odd choice to visit a sick person. It means 'You're dead to me.'"

You smirked "Is that what it means? Even better." 

You gave her the money after you received the flower bucket. "You're the best Sienna. I'll see you tomorrow."

She gave a warm smile "Bye, Y/N ."

You arrived at the hospital and immediately saw one of his trusted right hands. Bucky Barnes. He's standing outside while smoking. 

He put out his cigarette when he saw you "Detective Y/N."

You rolled your eyes "Fuck off. Where is he?"

Bucky scoffed and brought you to the VIP room. Before he opened the door, you could hear people talking, and laughing from inside the room. 

When the door got open, and you walked inside, everyone turned silent and looked at you. All of them are wearing black suits. 

8 months without seeing any mafia made you forget that you just entered enemy territory.

You gathered any courage that you had and walked towards the patient. You expect Steve to be pale, weak, and lying motionless on his bed since he got stabbed.

But your expectations betrayed you. In front of you, Steve Rogers is sitting like a boss with a half robe opened that shows his torsos tattoos. His hair even got combed to the back. He doesn't look sick.

"Aww, you bring me a gift. Thank you detective Y/N."

There it is. He always finds a way to make you angry. He knew you're not a detective anymore. You hate to admit it, even though he's a jerk, gangster, and narcissist. His face and his body are your type. 

Many fish in the sea but why do you have to like a man like him?

You clicked your tongue and then gave the flower to him "I ordered this for your funeral to be honest."

"Thank you doll." He handed the flower to his subordinate. "Did you buy this from the Sienna flower shop?"

"How did you know?"

"From the wrapping paper, the ribbon. I'm her loyal customer." He winked at you.

Well, that's something you learned from him. Perhaps he bought flowers for his girlfriend. 

You cleared your throat then grabbed a note and pencil from the pocket of your leather jacket.

"So what kind of person would dare to stab the gangster leader? That culprit must be crazy or a serial killer."

Suddenly the room turned quiet. Everyone is looking at you, including Steve. 

"You're right. Not even my rival dared to pick a fight with me. I could feel it. It's not them."

You crossed your arms "Why did you ask me to come here?"

"Since you left the city is not safe anymore. See? I got hurt. And, perhaps I missed the time we spent together."

You gritted your teeth. Geez, his words could make anyone misunderstood. The moment you spend with him is at the court or police station. 

The police station became an event. Paparazzi is always there, the media, he even invites a private chef to bring his lunch and dinner.

When you interrogate him, he always has wine beside him. It's impossible to make him stop since he got the best lawyer Matt Murdock. The famous lawyer who defends crooked people and always wins. 

You should've known that you have lost. 

"Enough with the jokes. What do you want?"

"I'm offering you a chance to come back. I want you to investigate my case."

"Why?"

Steve tilted his head a bit  "Because… I don't know. Maybe because I like playing with you."

You raised your voice "So you made me fly 4 hours to come here just for this?!!!"

Steve nodded. 

Oh, how he loves to see you being mad. That's his plan from the beginning. He still holds the grudge for you to make him stay in jail for three nights. 

-Flashback Start-

Steve was furious for sure when he got the letter from the court. He is the mobster leader in the city. How come a newcomer detective like you has the guts to put him to jail?

The audacity of ungrateful people. What's the point of bribing the police every month? They should've put a good leash on their member. 

Every second and every minute all he can think about is what he should do with you if both of you meet. Quick death or slow death. 

But he thinks of another plan when he finally meets you face to face. You're a new sheriff in the town. He wonders what kind of brilliant mind you have that made you able to catch him. 

When you interrogated him, you were fierce and fearless. Even the chief of the police told you to calm down but you wouldn't listen. 

Since that moment you got him interested. 

-Flashback End-

You suddenly stood up and sighed "If I had my gun, you would be bleeding right now."

"Is that a threat detective? Because I'm scared."

Bucky shook his head by looking at both of you. He turned his head to watch the TV. He widened his eyes when he saw the headline news. 

He turned up the volume "Steve, you should see this."

Both of you stopped arguing and looked at the TV. 

"Breaking news. Another stabbed victim at the well known flower shop called Sienna Flower's. The victim is a 77 years old female. Witnesses said the victim was closing the shop when she got stabbed. The paramedics informed us that the victim got stabbed on the chest and lost her life on the way to the hospital."

You gasped. "Sienna." You couldn't believe it. You just left the shop for an hour and something terrible happened. You lost your old friend. 

On your left, Steve only sees red. He clenched his fist. Sienna is a sweet old lady. His mother always went there and he always bought flowers from that shop for his mother.  

What kind of heartless person wants to hurt a kind person like Sienna? He will chase the culprit until the end of the earth.

"Boys."

"YES BOSS!!!"

"Gather everyone to check on that area. Everyone gathered all the information. I will kill that person by myself."

All his subordinates left the room after they got the order. 

After they left, Steve tried to stand up from his bed "Urgh." 

When he touches his left waist, you finally see his wound. It's still bleeding.

"Are you crazy? You can't move yet."

You're right. The stabbed wound was deep. If the painkiller runs out, this wound will be painful. The doctor told Steve that couldn't move his body freely for a week. And he doesn't want to get another stitch. 

Suddenly he got an idea. 

Steve leaned his body towards you and whispered in your ear, "Detective do you want to work together to catch who killed Sienna?"

You looked at his eyes. It never crossed your mind to work together with gangster leaders like Steve Rogers. But with his mafia connections, you could catch the culprits quicker. 

"Heck yeah."

Could I request some yandere assault on arkham riddler hcs? -🌹🦢

This version of Eddie is a lot more chill, compared to his other counterparts--especially since this is technically supposed to be Arkhamverse Eddie lol. He'd be a lot more relaxed by yandere standards, but by no means is he a pushover.

He's not the type to go straight to kidnapping, either. He'll stalk them online to learn more about them just because it's easier and more convenient than hours of accumulated small talk. Besides, this way he can learn the truth about them if they try to keep some things private!

He'd also flirt with them and let on that he's attracted to them, and if they reciprocate then he's your typical boyfriend. I mean...aside from the string of criminal activities, enemies gunning for him, government agencies kidnapping him, and being thrown into Arkham just for him to break out. He'll likely have you do little "favors" for him, insisting that if you get caught he can give you enough legal wiggle room to not go to jail as an accomplice.

In fact, one ideal legal loophole he'd like to exploit involves marrying his Darling. That way they can't ever testify against each other! Even if it IS an archaic institution he doesn't care about on a genuine level, it's something that society values enough to give you a solid defense when you're in court. And...if he DID want to use this marriage clause, Darling is the only one he'd ever want to be with.

If they don't reciprocate his feelings or they just don't want to get married, he doesn't take rejection well. They must be playing coy or hard to get. After all, it's not like they could ever do better than HIM! Anyone that they show romantic interest in winds up with a string of very bad luck: getting fired from their job, their bank account being run dry, having evidence of different crimes linked to them...If Darling confronts Riddler, he just shrugs and says that idiot shouldn't have been such an easy target.

He'll kidnap Darling if they keep denying his advances, gifts, coded messages in flower arrangements, etc. He's fixated on solving the riddle of getting them to love him and see that he's perfect for them. And keeping them confined is a fun puzzle for him to work on: tracking devices, collars to keep them from escaping, sedatives, etc.

He also wouldn't outright hold a Darling down to noncon them. He isn't that physically strong after all, and the whole point is to make Darling fall for him. How does acting like a brute and trying to hold them down in bed do that? He's much more clever! He'll drug them, slip some of Ivy's pheromones into their food or ask them to review his new "cologne". Then when they get inexplicably turned on, he just tsks and chides them for acting so brazenly all of a sudden. He's smug and smirking the entire time though, so Darling knows that whatever they're feeling, he's behind it.

I also think he's more cuddly and affectionate than other versions of Riddler. Like he's a narcissist in every version and Darling is his favorite person (that isn't him, of course), and Assault on Arkham!Riddler shows that affection and high regard with a bit more PDA than other versions.

Being someone’s father does not make you their dad.

Simply put: narcissistic, selfish, disinterested, unreliable, “the world is tough, get over it”

He’s an overgrown manchild, downright despicable, you grow up always on your father’s side till you realise your mother’s frustration and quick-fire temper came from a useless man who contributes nothing to your family.

Yeah sure, he has money but that’s about it.

So what if he had sex with a couple of other people when your mother was pregnant? Men have needs. Okay, and he fell asleep when she was in labour? He had a long night.

And sometimes women who aren’t your mother walk out of their room, but that’s not your business.

He’s attentive when you’re a toddler, there are pictures of him sitting next to you on your birthdays, or sitting next to you on the park bench, hey there are even of him sleeping beside you.

He buys your mom flowers sometimes, she cuts them up and puts them in vases.

It stops the older you get, you get a handshake for being the smartest in your class, I don’t think he quite realises when he had kids they would grow up with their interests, bet he thought you would remain 7 forever.

Doesn’t remember anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions. You once jokingly ask him when your birthday is. He didn’t even hesitate… to tell you the wrong date.

For as long as you can remember his cold gaze, glazed over blue watching you and everyone around him, listening to his footsteps, memorising his breathing patterns while he sleeps so can tell the difference between bad days and good days.

Don’t talk too much, you wouldn’t want to become troublesome for him.

Fragile ego making “ jokes” about your mother, it’s lucky you look like him after all she looks like a tramp (everyone laughs at the dinner table you know he sulks easy), perhaps she gained weight ( everyone starts hiding snacks in their room after all your mom’s ed started from him), he paints a picture a really lovely one actually.

I’ll set it up for you

There’s a girl, she’s not really interesting, beautiful or smart; and fate screws her over, you see, getting delivered to 5 horrible monsters who constantly taunt and tyrannise her. She meets a man, who doesn’t really care at first but she works hard to ‘gain’ his affection and he saves her. It’s a pretty house in the countryside, she has 2-3 kids (doesn’t matter if she wanted them, I mean he’s given her everything, is it so bad that he wants to be a father, okay she doesn’t have any friends and the isolation is a bit much some days ( why would she need anyone other than her husband? What kind of shameless, lewd woman is she trying to show her kids, my god? Also, she has chores to do, he doesn’t wanna live in a dumpster. And cooking? Yeah, vampires don’t need food but he wants those family dinners? She knows what his childhood was like, all silent and cold. Is it so bad that he wants to sit down to a homemade meal three times a day with his wife and kid (who cares if everyone waits for him to wake up as the food gets cold, he’s the head of this family? He puts the bread on the table?) 

Makes crude jokes about your mother, bet you wonder why the master bedroom is soundproof.? He knows first-hand that children are a bit squeamish, but he knows what’s best for your mother, I mean pain or pleasure, she likes it. She’s just that type of woman.  

You pretend not to see the scars, the bandages, or the way her hands shake in exhaustion. She tried delegating chores around the house, but your father overlooked that too.

After all, you should be grateful to him, women are unpredictable and overly emotional, and he doesn’t want to burden your childhood with chores you should focus on having fun, mothers are meant to be able to take care of everything. His mother did.

The constant joke of what if he killed himself ya know after all your mother is so much baggage, or maybe even better what is her marries another woman, prettier, younger, more useful, who nags less I bet you’d like that better than your actual mother ( you all looked at her apologetically, weakly laughing at his jokes).

You stay in your room a lot, listening to the shell of a mother cluttering around waiting like a flower to bloom under the sun till your father walks in.

You listen to his footsteps, bated breaths, he makes your mother laugh, today must be a good day. You hurriedly run downstairs. You don’t want to ruin the mood. You greet him, he pulls you into his arms kissing the top of your head, and you try not to cry. You ask him about his day, he laughs again, he starts talking about some old composer, and you nod along appropriately, laughing at his remarks.

You wait right before dinner, asking him to sign a slip for school he raises his eyebrow, and you hold your breath.

He tells you to get his pen, you finally breathe. You hear him making a joke at your brother about how you are your mother’s daughter always needing to go out, thriving for attention from men, it’s good to loosen the leash on women occasionally otherwise they forget how many other great bitches are out there and start slacking. Your brother laughs merrily, you watch your father’s eyes glaze over imagining himself with the freedom your brother has, making jokes like this with his father, in a pretty house where his mother is warm and motherly. 

You ignore the stinging pain in your gut as you retrieve the signed slip, your family settling down for dinner, and he remarks maybe he should hire a cook since your mother obviously forgot how to season the food (you think it tastes fine),  he asks about your day, you try to keep it short but interesting regardless his eyes glaze over again already bored as you barely finish with an awkward chuckle. It hurts how it takes him a moment to realise you stopped talking, he repeats this action with everyone out of courtesy then talks about his day. No one dares interrupt.

Some days he bangs the door shut, coming home from work. You freeze, he is far too early today, dinner isn’t ready, your mom hasn’t finished cleaning you worry. You’re wearing shorts if he walks into the living room you’re going to have to hear about how he raised a whore of a daughter.

He storms towards you, thundering asking why your bag was on the porch, you apologise he doesn’t care it’s too late he might’ve tripped on it,  also what are you wearing does he not give you enough money to buy appropriate clothes? 

Your mother tries to appease him, telling him there’s steak tonight, he says not to worry and storms out again for a walk around the block. He’s gone for 4 days, your mother is hysterical with worry if he’s okay and if this time is finally when he abandons you. You hope not, the longest he left was 7 months you’re still haunted by the dead look in your mother’s eyes.

One day she just walks out, and you hear the door open and close, and it isn’t till your father comes home and asks where she is you think something is wrong. She never ever missed greeting him when he came home.

They find her body at the bottom of the cliffs an hour away; she kills herself. The way your father cried you would think it actually hurt him, he tells you your laugh is disgusting it’s just like hers. You laugh in his face. He finally leaves, just packs up and leaves, your brother begs him not to, and you smile and wave, egging him on he doesn’t look back once.

You see him a year later at some gathering your grandpa throws, he has another woman on his arm they often switch to a new one every week. Finally, he meets the woman, you pity her at their wedding when you realise she looks at your father just like your mother did. You suppose your older half-siblings do too, except instead of you watching them walking out as they did at your mother’s wedding, you walk out with them.

i want to chime in as another person- my mind was changed on NPD years ago but it was only because of like, real human people talking about their actual experiences that helped me realize it was not The Evil Disorder (TM) in the same way that I realized ASPD wasn't THe Evil Disorder (TM). I guess I was maybe more likely to realize something was up because i also hit a bunch of the diagnostic criteria for it but like, when literally all you hear is "narcissist just means someone is a self centered asshole" it's hard to realize that that's not actually what it is at all.

and they for real taught us that shit in school. we had a whole discussion about the myth of narcissus and how obviously that hurt ~everyone else~ more than narcissus, even though he literally starved to death and turned into a flower. it took me until i was like 17 and someone else went "hey thats kind of fucked up" before i was like oh yeah. that was probably not something he did for fun huh

idk where i'm going with this but i respect the hell out of you being willing to brave the internet goblins and be like "stop being an asshole about ppl with npd" because its gotta hurt way more when people are being an asshole about something you actually got. i made like one or two posts ages ago about the "narc abuse" ableist bullshit and i remember it being enough of a headache even when it completely and totally was not personal for me bc i do not have it

oh uh idk im sure you know this but for the people in the back sitting around, aspd is antisocial personality disorder and people with aspd are also not evil malicious serial killers in waiting or whatever the ~common interpretation~ is and people with aspd are just as capable of being good friends and normal ass people who don't run around cackling evilly or whatever and kicking puppies, just like anyone else. but buying into ableist mythology about people's diagnoses is absolutely going to cut you off from other regular people who are just living their lives and is also associated with higher rates of violence against other people :,) bigots kill

To be honest, a large chunk of the reason I get so vocal about NPD is because of how bad the ableism has wormed its way into my head. It's pretty much a daily occurrence that my housemates have to remind me that asking for help isn't manipulative and that I'm not being an evil little monster just for needing reassurance. Anti-cluster-B ableism curls up in your head and feeds on all your insecurities and struggles and it's so, so goddamn hard to deal with.

I can't ask for help getting out of bed on high pain days without getting paranoid that I've somehow manipulated my husband into being my reluctant servant. Doesn't matter how many times he reminds me that he's here because he loves me, and how helping me out of bed is an expression of that love. The internalized ableism still makes me so deeply fucking afraid that I'm the shitty one.

I have a daffodil tattooed on my head as part of my big floral scalp piece, and it's for Narcissus. Ovid's version of the story is the one that's always stuck with me the most, where Narcissus is tricked into his downfall by Nemesis. His worst crimes were "rejecting proposals from people who felt entitled to his body" and "being kind of an asshole, which is something that literally everyone is guilty of at times."

In the end, Narcissus didn't waste away because he was too self-absorbed for anything else, it happened because he was treated with trickery instead of compassion.

Honestly I think part of the problem with the whole narcissistic abuse thing is that npd was named after the trait of narcissism rather than being given it's own word.

Like before autism was autism, autistic, etc a word with it's own loaded definition? Was borderline a word with it's own definition? All the other personality disorders (other than schizoid personality disorder I guess) are either loosely based on other words or given new words as their name.

Other than narcissistic personality disorder. Theres the tale of narcisa (however you spell it) and what happens because of her narcissism. Narcissism is a trait given to bad guys in movies and books long before narcissistic personality disorder became known.

So like part of the problem is that narcissism already had a definition and then narcissistic personality disorder came in and "took" it to mean another thing. Narcissistic abuse refers to the first definition of narcissism before it was a diagnosable personality disorder, but that doesnt make it any less harmful to people who are diagnosed.

Since it's so entrenched in the cultural zeitgeist honestly I think the easiest way to get rid of some of the stereotypes and bad view would be just to rename narcissistic personality disorder. That would get rid of most of the issues and help make the people diagnosed without not jump to all the things they've seen or heard where people talk badly about narcissism.

Idk those are my thoughts.

What is weird is that whatever legend I am googling is always sad and unfair? The only person Narcissus hurts is himself.

In one version his twin sister dies so he goes to see his reflection and he grieves and eventually dies. That's super sad. The other more common? one is just when this one dude loved his relfection too much that he never left and eventually? turned into a flower? And the other one is when he was so pretty, everyone loved him but he never loved anyone back(hi aromantics). And for that Aphrodita decided to punish him and made him fall in love with his own reflection. And the guy didn't want to, but couldn't leave and couldn't eat or drink, and so he died. Like, in all these versions he is either hurting himself or was hurt for just minding his own business(unless there is some version where he was shitty to everyone? but greek myths are often just cruel and unfair).

I don't know, think people should know better than that and understand that a disorder has nothing to do with narcissism. But it is convenient to them, they have this enemy they can openly hate and mistreat and be praised for it.

Also I don't think changing the name will help much. 'Psychopath' is still used to negatively describe people who have antisocial personality disorder traits(being named psychopathy in the past, which also is its own word?)

Okay, first of all, everyone is entitled to their opinion / interpretation of him and his character. I mean, I'm a firm believer that he is an adult, but I know other people disagree. And that is okay.

That being said, one of the reasons I head canon him as an adult is simply because the ambiguous age, and the fact that I am one, and ship with him and I'm not going to ship with a 12 year old. (I know, shocking.)

But it goes further than that.

Fifth anniv. ⏰ dialogues

I've seen a lot of people on Twitter saying that using this dialogue doesn't count, and that people 'erase the context of it' so I'm going to show the full context here.

Here, he sort of claims that he is grown up.

A lot of people argue that right under this line of dialogue he is being childish, and that kids refer to themselves as grown ups all the time, which that is true. But we have to take into consideration that adults are allowed to enjoy things, as well.

He goes against his own statement by hinting at exactly what type of gift he wants, and a lot of people argue that this is proof that he's just a child playing pretend, but I disagree with that mindset. Adults are allowed to want things, when you become an adult you do not just magically stop wanting fun things like coloring supplies and colorful things.

My best example/argument... would be 🍝🦴 himself.

A majority of the fandom interprets 🍝🦴 as an adult (from what I am aware of?) - despite him acting much more childish and innocent than 🌻 is.

He collects action figures, he wants to have a shiny red car, he gets read a bedtime story about fluffy bunnies, he plays dress up with a "battle body" constantly, there's more examples but need I say more??? Point being, despite his childish demeanor and innocent portrayal (despite him being one of the toughest monsters imo) - he is often portrayed or interpreted as an adult.

There is a point, where I feel like it might become a double standard??? imo??

How come 🍝🦴 can act just as, if not more childish than 🌻 does, and yet still be considered an adult?

Now the argument could be something like, oh 🌻 is more childish emotionally.

Well, yeah. He's traumatized???

He got murdered, and is stuck in a time loop and a flower essentially, and has grown too cold to feel for others. Of course he is going to be explosive, irrational at times, and immature. It's because he's been hurt, his mind works different than 🍝🦴's because he has gone through more pain than he has and remembers it.

I feel like the argument that "Oh he acts immature so he's a child" is harmful not only bc it stimulates this belief that adults just magically lose their immature / happy fun sides, but also I think it's a little bad for neurodivergient people out there who are a lot like him.

There are adults out there who can still want childish things, and that is okay. There are adults out there who still react immaturely to their emotions, and that is okay.

Hell, I'm gonna be turning 19 in like... 2 months, and I still would KILL to have like, toys and colorful things decking out my room and whatnot. It would be really, really nice. Does that make ME a child?

And I still spiral out of control sometimes with my emotional outbursts.

There are bipolar people, there are narcissists, and there are plenty of other things, and I know an adult who is about to be in their 40's who get excited over batman toys at five below.

Point being, I interpret him as a neurodivergient adult who is traumatized and deserved time to heal.

I probably will have more to say about this at some point later. Again this is just my interpretation/thoughts on it ur allowed to see him different

person who voted other: i was going to click "likes to be cared for" because i think that's true generally, but (from my Parasocial Stranger standpoint) it also seems like you're averse to a lot of the common *methods* people use to express care e.g. accomodation or explaining a topic or so on. which isn't a bad thing but does throw a wrench in the works in terms of "how *should* i express care then" and a lot of Parasocial Internet People who don't know you as a friend stop there

like for instance if you ask for asks and someone goes onto your carrd and is like "oh no that's a lot of text i am now Scared of whether my ask will accidentally contain some of these things" and then the person just decides to not send an ask. cos your carrd is structured around what *not* to do, so it makes it easy to assume that Well since this person is so confident and self-assured (which is mentioned on your 'how to speak to me' page iirc) and *also* has so many boundaries, i guess they don't really like to be cared for then / their Care Needs are being met by their friends already

obviously i can only speak for myself here though, i don't know if this is a common perception or not. for me personally the mental block of "agh this person seems like they have such cool interesting things to say but what if i accidentally trip over a boundary" was solved very easily when your posts said you liked asks about your special interest, cos then i have A Specific Direction instead of a bunch of directions *not* to go in.

i just genuinely do not view those two examples you listed as care, i guess? like to me, assuming someone needs an accommodation when they haven't asked for one is just pure ableism. in my day job i work HR and we are given very explicit training on how that in itself is a literal microaggression. even the non-HR employees that i instruct are given a whole training on how being "overly helpful" towards disabled people is a fucked up and shitty thing to do, and ignoring all that--i am disabled. in my day-to-day, i hate it just as much. it seems incredibly rude--when you accommodate someone unprompted, you are assuming that you are more of an expert on their experience than they are. i absolutely HATE when people "talk around" my triggers or try to trigger warn things for me, because it implies that i am somehow incapable of existing without this one person doing this. in my daily life, i am exposed to the trigger, and there is not always some tumblr user in a flower crown to bark out 'UMMM TRIGGER WARNING!' as a herald to it. i have my own methods of processing and dealing with all that, and i don't appreciate the insinuation that i don't. i spend more time with my brain and my disability than literally any person walking the earth, and so to assume that anyone knows more about it than me is just pure fucking unfiltered and unapologetic ableism.

nothing about that reads as "care" by any definition. it's rude, it's self-righteous, it's entitled, and it shows an incredible lack of sensitivity or care.

unfortunate that people think my care needs are being met. narcissistic personality disorder, more often than not, develops as a result of severe neglect and mistreatment. narcissists are often completely alone and isolated from society, with no love or care being leveled toward them. personally, i developed NPD because i could not find a single crumb of support--no one would care for me, no one would compliment me, no one would be there for me when i was sad, i had nothing and no one. so my brain literally FORCED itself to be self-obsessed as a means to survive, because that kind of social isolation and severe loneliness is what makes people kill themselves. my brain did not want me to die.

nothing has really changed. i still do not get a lot of love, care, compliments, or positive reinforcement/support leveled toward me. only now, because i have a personality disorder, i need twice as much.

its very interesting to me that the general consensus seems to be opposite--that self confident people need "less" attention than people more visibly struggling. very unfortunate. the broken cup gets repaired, but the chipped cup stays chipped forever, i suppose.

Fem near and Mello thoughts

Mello will use the fact that people underestimate her against them, like she will make a person underestimating her a consequence and a blasphemous sin (a fem light and L will have that in common) , female Mello hates being looked down upon, like Canon, if one does that to her, they are to be condemned and punished, she may have developed sadistic, narcissistic, and obsessive tendencies as a defence mechanism against her religious dogma treatment she received back at her home.

She really finds a lot of comfort in Marie, admires her even and might actually believe that she should be the real Jesus or God due to the fact that she may have not seen the qualities that Marie has in the men and boys around her despite Jesus or God himself having them, God and Jesus are a reflection of how men are supposed to be and what they are, Marie is a part that all women and girls should or are supposed to have (because to Mello, a woman being as kind as Marie is just not possible because she will be taken advantage of by bad people) .

She will also believe some really problematic shit about men due to her stay at the mafia and what she has seen, or what her mother had told her, so she will be extra and more cautious around them, not to say that she isn't cautious around women, as well. Mello also finds comfort in Matt (or Matte, Mattie? Ehhh...well), like she does in Marie(I will come back to this in Near's part.)

A female near will put on a mask of 'meekness and invisibility, as well as being spaced out' for her own safety, or for when she perceives the situation to be unsafe or not worth dealing with. What is different is that unlike mello, it is a significant part of her she might have a hard time letting go of. What is interesting is that with such a skill that she has developed, she will also know how to blend in more with the crowd, use people underestimating her at first impressions against them (maybe in an Au, she might be a spy---no, that's for Mello or Matt, but a nun, yes) , but the draw back will be that she will be much more underestimated and not listened to in Canon due to her faint presence that she puts on.

I believe that canonically, Near is autistic or on the asperger's spectrum, and it is a well-known fact that girls on such a spectrum or with autism tend to mask more and 'pretend' because autism and asperger's is mostly associated with men and boys, it also wasn't wildly studied in women and girls for it was thought that symptoms and traits of asperger's and autism that girls showed were just them being attention-seeking, or trying to be funny, and quirky, they also get a lot of backlash for being really blunt, like a lot because women and girls in society are expected to soften and flower their words up---- oftentimes women and girls get diagnosed with autism and asperger's quite and very late compared to their male counterparts, due to the different symptoms that may also present themselves.Female Near has started wearing her persona earlier, in contrast to Male Near. She lets people assume things about her, see her as dreamy and distracted and robot.

With the masking-that-women-do-phenomen, sometimes it can get as bad as the mask sinking in, and if they try to remove it, their true selves may also tear off, fortunately for Near Her going to Wammys house may have prevented majority of it, but not all. (Masking is also said not to be very good for a person's mental health)

Now, back to fem near, she might have needed to mask from when she was a really young child and, mask or stim 'appropriately' and in an acceptable way.

Near might be seen as a shy girl who is withdrawn, that is 'feminine' according to her environment, her having a hard time or not wanting to socilaise with people will be considered her being shy (feminine) , or arrogant (a girl who is all that, a 'bad' girl) ; she will get picked on for both by both girls (but maybe mostly girls, 'cause 2000s mean girl internalised misogyny) and boys.

When she gets to Wammys, people will be confused because she will have both a robot and a doll (she will also look quite androgynous, but tilt a bit more on the feminine side) , her gender might be cleared when she is asked "are you a girl or a boy?" By Matt and Linda who thought that Near was a really cute, feminine boy, of course Near says she is a girl and asks why Matt and Linda wanted to know, they are kind of saddned and disappointed, but they don't show it, Near notices and is a bit confused as to why they seem desolate.

Their dynamics don't change overall that much, however.

It must be tough to draw such big shots like the latest update. How do you do it? ><

It can definitely be tough! Some are harder than others. As you might expect, the fabled crowd shots are rough ones. This wasn't so bad, but I've had to draw shots with like 40 characters milling around (I made myself do it so I have no one to blame lol).

The hardest part for me is that I get bored halfway through. I don't like spending too long on one page, or even one panel, haha. Well, it also gets difficult to keep track of all the little details. I must train harder...

My advice for big establishing shots? Just stick to it! Don't get bogged down in details. You'll be done after a while and you won't be bored anymore!

Okay I did have very vague thoughts when drawing the background characters for this one, so I will elaborate on them! Going from top to bottom/left to right!

Fishhead Guy: He's part of security for the event! A wise adult. He can only drink salt water, and Partridge keeps a steady supply for him. Keeps a small aquarium at home. Has he ever taken a sip of the water? That's for him to know and for us to never find out...

Below our group of known characters is...a whole bunch of NYSM members! Yes, they are a big group. The size is more like TDD than TDL.

Blond Hair and Green Dress: Young adults dancing around a relationship. Both are thinking the same thing... "Does she like me back?" She does! Work it out! In terms of their Talents, Green Dress gives totally accurate horoscopes. When Blond Hair feels down, her presence turns into that of the sea at night, when it's completely dark. She draws you in, and if you take her hand, you'll be lost at sea... Not on purpose, though. She's nice!

Suspenders: They are good friends with Blond and Green. They don't actually have a Talent, but they're a part of NYSM nonetheless. When Green became Talented, Suspenders joined her in leaving home to find a Talent City. Suspenders is very, very good at math. A lot of Talented ran away from home/left society as young teenagers, so being good at math is like, an insane skill.

White Fire and Suit Friend: Besties. :) White Fire acts on impulse 99% of the time and Suit Friend enables him. They're cool kids who like to...uh, loiter. White Fire tried to skateboard and completely wiped out, once. Suit Friend's Talent is being literally impossible to knock over. White Fire's Talent is self-explanatory. The fire isn't hot, but it has zero functionality.

Birdcage and Puffer Jacket: Birdcage's Talent is reminiscent of a phoenix! Fire will randomly generate in her birdcage head–also not hot. She heals fast, and is immortal (except for old age). She doesn't know a lot about her Talent because, like...how would she test this stuff? Bubbles will spontaneously generate from Puffer Jacket's body. This is all her Talent does. She knows a lot about it, though, and in a dangerous situation, she can create a bubble smokescreen easily. Birdcage thinks she's super cool.

White Hair and Star: Star looks familiar to me too... She's not a reference or anything though, so I probably just reused an old design on accident. She can jump on those stars and use them as platforms, but they shrink and disappear quickly. Her Talent is like a real life video game platformer. White Hair can find any sort of plant in their sleeves. They've learned how to make tea/herbal remedies/etc. because of this. They're shy but they'll give you a flower.

Feathers, Green Hair, and Red Jacket: All adults! Feathers' Talent is just that–growing feathers like a scarf. He really likes it and think's it's fashionable. He's a bit narcissistic. Green Hair can change her hair like a chameleon. It usually happens on accident, like a mood ring. She can't control it well and she's a chaotic person, so it's constantly changing. Red Jacket is doing their best to make both these weirdos chill out. It is not going well. Their Talent means everything they touch with their bare hands will be stained red. It washes out eventually, but they wear gloves, for practicality.

Illuso

- Is actually self-obsessed men. He give that narcissistic vibes, that may come from his insecurities, that he still got, but hide it. He is egoistic actually, and I think it come from his fair of being rejected. He will reject you first, so you won’t hurt him, but it will.

- He definitely smell absolutely amazing, his hair, perfume- I think it something manly and fresh, like that classic men cologne. He love taken care of himself.

- I won’t lie, but he IS toxic when it comes to relationship. He is a rude boy, he can be really mean sometimes. Always got outbursts of aggression, he love to fight physically, he actually pretty strong and fit, he is working out at gym.

- Never been in serious relationship. His relationship never last more than a half of a year. He ain’t loyal, he is toxic and it’s hard being with a person like that, especially when he also a dangerous mafioso.

- He usually only want one thing from partner, and didn’t hide it, he aren’t a gentleman, and he can’t be like this. He never seem himself being a father, husband, having a traditional family. So don’t expect from him a lot, he will call you late night, make you feel special, just to use you.

- At least, he is attractive, yeah?

- He was raised by single mom, and he got a terrible relationship with his mother, I feel like he can be really misogynistic and sexist with woman. He offended to his mother, but he can’t say that to her, so he will take out the offense to other girls, like a revenge.

Pesci

 - Pisces men. That’s all.

- He can be a really good friend, but he will always that person that you will need to cheer up and support.

- Actually he is stronger than prosciutto physically, and I think that even risotto. He is short guy, but built buff. He is a gym guy. Like everyone notice how strong he is in episodes?

- He is an insecure man. His insecurities can come from his relationship with family, mother, I feel like he always been told that he aren’t good enough, he need to deserve love of family. He always need this validation of everyone, especially prosciutto. Actually I can’t imagine how this guy ended in criminal world? My assumption is him committed an accident crime, or maybe bound with some bad guy( Like naranchia?).

- A lot of cologne. This guy always pours on himself perfume.

- He can cook, I think that he watch his food, nutritious, his health, because he is trying to be better, stronger.

- If he get any girl, he will definitely try to be gentleman, like prosciutto. Flowers, gifts and awkward dates. Prosciutto will help him with this. But anyway, he is bad with communication with other people, he is shy, insecure.

Ghiaccio

- I always think, that ghia are a guy from rich family, and his back story similar to fugo’s. He used to be an athlete, maybe skater? Otherwise, I can't imagine how his stand was appeared. He come from traditional, rich, old money type of family to me. They can bound with illegal things, mafia.

- He is a smart guy, again, similar to fugo, used to be a best student.

- I think, he is one of a youngest, but smartes member. In his early 20-s.

- He is really bad at romantic, relationship things. To me, he seem like he got a really huge standards when it comes to partner and relationship, he is capricious, and won’t stand any disadvantages.

- His parents have always indulged his whims, so he expects others to do it too.

- He got that fit, athlete body, even to he is short. He still working out very often.

- He absolutely hate sweet food and cats!

- This men give me either Taurus or Virgo vibes.

Melone

- He, just like ghiaccio are youngest member, but he is closer to mid 20-s.

- Come from big traditional, maybe really religious family. He is actually perversive guy, let’s be real. In my opinion, guys like this, come from family, where theme of sex was a big taboo, it was a bad thing and only for kids. So, obviously when he became free, he got no rules and no limits. And by the way, he give that vibe of person, that used to be victim of sexual assault in childhood, teenage time.

- This guy are obvious bisexual. And he is misogynistic. He just didn’t see women nothing but sex toy, incubator for stand and kids. So I feel like this type of men, are never been and never will be in some serious relationship.

- But he actually really nice at first, like he is kind, respectful when it come to stranger, and he can be really good friend. I think him&ghia are canonical friends.

- And he is skinny, as a noodle.

- Love spending money on clothes.

- Didn’t use any rough perfume, and he didn’t really like it, toilet water, maybe only deodorant and that’s all. He smell pretty basic. Like just clean after shower smell.

My thoughts on erha(2ha) also known as Husky and his white cat shizun. Part 2. (Part 1 is here)

Warning: Spoiler Ahead. Sensitive Topic being mentioned. That just my opinion, don't kill me.

Characters

Mo Ran

I loved MR from the first book. He annoyed me but I found him charismatic somehow. In the second book forward I just loved him. He's complex and human. Everyone has a dark side, everyone hates something. He was no different. He did mistakes, he gave in his dark side before the flower in a moment of insanity and despair, that doesn't make him evil. I absolutely love how sweet and kind he actually is, and how yet he has this darkness inside of him that influenced by the flower made he became an awful, annoying, cruel person. I think that's very human. He's my favorite character of the book, one of my favorite of all. I loved his evolution and changes. I feel sad that one in every three days he will feel paranoic and all that, but it is what is, at least he's fine with it and is loved. Both part of him. The broken and the shining.

Chu WanNing

I wasn't able to connect so much to CW as I wish, what is ironic cause I identify with him in many ways. I loved how he's good and his essence never got lost. My favorite thing about him is his goodness, how he as soon as he saw the bad in the world he decided to do something about it. I love how he loved MR, all of him and he deserved to be love as much he is by MR. He had a nice change and development, still rooted on who he is, but ended far more opened and relaxed. Consequences of be loved I suppose.

Xue Meng

He's one of my favorite characters. He annoyed me many times, but mostly I just liked him. My favorite thing about him, is that he never minded of the status of other, he never let that stopped him from saying what he gotta say. Like when he met Jiang Xi, and he doesn't care who he is, he doesn't like him and he'll say haha. But I missed a bit of development on his side. I think I expected that after everything he went through his narcissistic side would be less, maybe he would be more grounded. I didn't like he ended kinda alone. I wish we have seen more of a development of him.

Shi Mei

I already talked about him as the main villain, HBN, so let me now focus on the version 2.0. I suspected of him from the first time I saw him, but I never thought would be that complicated. I hate him for what he did to MR, but part of me kinda forgive him, he was manipulated by well himself, and having the reason be save his people... I like how he regretted, is never too late to regret and free yourself, but at the same time I don't like him feeling less responsible, I mean he is, but HBN had a point when said they been plot all together. HBN is the mainly responsible for be the boss, but SM helped him the mostly, including gaslighting and manipulating Nangong Xu into killing 500 hundred people, so I don't get why he was so surprised seeing the number of people who died. So this makes me feel that he should've take more responsibility. Idk how cause asked him to stop HBN seemed harsh, considering their goal. And the thing is this, he regretted but not enough to try to stop his other self. So I think his end is appropriate but my feelings for him are still harsh and complicated in many levels, as much as is to HBN. He don't have much development in the sense of changing I think, but he's a hell of character. As I writer I'm like drooling with this inspiration lol one of the best characters I have ever seen. Both SM and HBN.

Mei Hanxue brothers

Gotta love those two. My favorite part about them is their loyalty to Xue Meng, how they protects him. But I feel they were kinda superficial. I miss they been more complex, more developed. I miss seen more of them. I feel we got to see only a small part of them, a superficial part and I think they could've been more.

Mu Yanli

I hated her so much at first. But than... reluctantly, at the end I felt some kind of admiration for her. The thing about her arc that I liked the mostly is that she's completely loyal to the people of her mother. But not her biological mother. Her real mother. I loved this concept. Showing that family don't end in blood. Not to excuse her at all. But I can't help having some positive feelings about her. She sacrificed herself for the people of her mother. I also have a weak for plots of siblians, which one is evil and the other don't know other way but to stand by them, even don't appreciating what the other is doing. Well she's complicated too. To me at least.

Ye Wangxi

What a woman. I love how strong she is. How she stand for what she believed be right, standing by MR. Helping him, protecting him. I love her loyalty to Nangong Si, I love how strong she just is. I iust hope she finds a way of being herself and find happiness. I loved how calm and at peace she ended up.

Nangong Family

Nangong Si, Nangong Si, he was more than I thought he was at first, and is incredible as we get to know him, learning what exist behind the layers. I wish we had seen more of him. A better end for him.

Nangong Liu, is just some asshole shit. I think he didn't love not even his son. Not for real. Is pathetic and pitiful he as a child man, but he made me feel less than the mainly villain. I hate him and that summarizes it.

Nangong Xu, well I feel sad about the boy he was who died in a way, when he lost his mind, cause to me that what happened to him. He lost everything and lost his mind with it and himself. I felt sorry for him. Not excusing what he did. Even if he was manipulated. But is pitiful what he became. His love and desperation for his shizun is pitiful and sad and somehow, in a way recalls RanWan.

Jiang Xi

I don't how to feel about him. At first I liked him. I liked how he was impartial and always willing to listen, but than he hecame kind asshole, so I don't know. But because XM lost so much I wish they could form some sort of bound. XZ will always be XM father, but wouldn't harm him having another paternal figure again.

Xue Zhengyong and Mrs. Wang

Finaly, but not less important at all, let me talk about this sweet couple. I love them so much. He was so kind, good, gentle, happy and well with life. Sisheng Peak being the Peak that helps everyone in everything is just so pure and is all that, that world ever needed. What happened to them was so unfair. And she, I would say she is the perfect example of Swan Song death. She was quite and gentle her whole life but in the end, she showed her strength, and her voice.

So to finalize. I really liked the story, the book. Is sad and dark. But is good and well written. And have a happy end. Also let me tell how I loved Meatbun's theater lol.

-This is probably the most sincere version of him.

-He’s actually extremely quiet when you meet him and almost devoid of personality. You might not even see him much due to his lengthy lessons and consistent practice with daggers (which he insisted that you not be near him for due to his unease of slipping up and potentially injuring you)

-Between lessons you will get messages from him. Most are the latest viral memes/challenges, new favorite song, a video of him juggling knives, or a pitchy cover of a song. Once in awhile he will send a lengthy love text in whatever language you speak to him in (If not in Korean, please expect it to be broken)

-Like I said, this is the most genuine and pure version of him so he will display his affection constantly when he has time. His favorite thing to do is to give you flowers of some kind. He read it was a popular American tradition to gift ALL types of flowers so he’ll spice it up every time   

-If you’re with him when he starts transitioning to fame, you will see a definite change. He’s louder, cockier, and more superficial. It’s a possibility that you won’t continue to be with him when you can remember that sweeter boy you were with before he was scouted.

Height of fame:

-Yeah this version of him is not the worst, but he is pretty bad.

-He’s self absorbed and completely focused on his status. Not only does he have narcissistic traits, he also has a massive god complex. Especially after his band mates died.

It had happened suddenly. Most citizens were gathered up in town when the Scout Regiment had returned from their long expedition but you stayed off to the side, continuing to do the shopping you had to do.

Your eyes had wondered though, they glanced over as the crowd cheered and you locked eyes with the Captain himself, the intense stare he had given you, making you feel nervous before turning away.

After Levi had laid his eyes on you, he was quick to come back in town a few times to run into you, finally succeeding almost a week later, wanting to desperately get to know you.

The second he saw you, your beauty, it had drawn him in and he was just as shocked as you were when he seeked interest in you, asking you out for a drink which led to him asking you out for drinks every weekend until he asked you out on a real date.

The nerves had made him overthink about it, he was sure you would reject him and you considered it. You were never interested in the Scouts nor the MPs or the Garrison regiment.

You never saw the intense hype and cheer they got everyday, of course you knew why- because they risked their lives but most of them were assholes. You even heard nasty rumors about Levi, how cold hearted he was, how much of a selfish narcissist he was.

But the more you went out to get drink with him at the ugly bar in town, the more he spoke to you, laughed with you- it made you think differently. You seen him as a sweet person, he does have a hard shell but when he cares about someone, he cares deeply.

And it wasn’t long till he was deeply involved with you. His heart would pound so loud he could hear it in his ears, his palms would grow sweaty and he would feel entirely nervous when he was around you.

He wanted to impress you, he wanted to keep you interested in him. He didn’t want to chase you away.

The night for your first date had arrived a little too quickly and Levi had stood outside your door, a nervous wreck, not wanting to knock on the door but wanting to see you so badly.

He cursed to himself for feeling so nervous, he’s never felt this nervous about anyone or anything but when it came to you- you managed to mess up his insides and make him flustered.

As his fist came up to knock on your door, you were quick to stop what you were doing in the kitchen to open up the door and let him inside. The big smile on your face made him crack a smile, his hands reaching out and holding the bouquet of flowers he had gotten you on the way here.

He wanted this to be perfect, he didn’t want to screw up at all. He felt like if he did, you would easily leave him behind and the way he felt about you- he was afraid of letting you slip away.

“Thank you, they’re beautiful.” You closed the door behind him, gesturing him towards the kitchen as you walked over to set the flowers down on the countertop.

“The food is pretty much done.” You made sure everything was set up right, you were just as much as a nervous wreck like he was.

You didn’t expect your feelings for the cold Captain to be so sudden and so strong. You felt vulnerable when you were under his stare and it was hard to not feel any butterflies when you were around him. It was impossible, you were drawn in and there wasn’t a way out.

As you both sat at your dining room table and ate the dinner you had made, you both had laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. It wasn’t long until it had gotten late and he had to head back.

In the back of his head he wanted to kiss you, he was desperate and he wanted to make sure you knew just how interested he was in you. So when you wrapped your arms around him in a hug, being about the same height as him, he took the opportunity to suck up his nerves and press his lips on yours.

That small little spark you felt as his soft lips had moved with yours, making your stomach feel like it was completely full of butterflies as the fuzzy feeling overwhelmed you completely.

Levi didn’t want to admit that the kiss had made him feel the same, overwhelmed with feelings and butterflies. When he pulled back, you had opened your eyes to see his face completely flustered, turning a light shade of red.

You couldn’t help the small laugh that left your lips, you didn’t know how much of a flustered ball he could be but he’s definitely proven you wrong.

“What’s funny?” He asked, both eyebrows raised in amusement as his face continued to stay a light shade of red.

“You’re so flustered, it’s cute.”

“No I’m not.” He shook his head, his cheeks turning darker once you had pointed it out.

“You’re blushing even more now.” You reached up to cup his warm cheeks, brushing your thumb over the soft skin and his eyes connected with yours.

The intense amount of feelings he had felt for you as he stared into your eyes, almost like he was drowning in them, getting lost in them. He knew just how bad he had fallen for you in so little time. He couldn’t help but feel so much and get flustered when he was with you, his hot cheeks burning under your small hands.

“I can’t help it, you make me nervous.” He fully admitted without realizing what had come out of his mouth.

You stared at him, fully understanding because you felt the same. You were praying your cheeks weren’t as red as his was but you would agree that you felt a whole lot inside as your heart pounded in your chest.

You leaned forward to press another kiss to his lips before fully stepping back and smiled at him as he opened up your front door. He didn’t want to leave but he also didn’t want to seem like a creep that just wanted to sleep with you.

He felt so much more than that when it came to you. You were something special, something he’s never experienced before and he can’t let that go to waste, not when you mean so much to him.

“I’ll talk to you tomorrow.” He said, looking at you fully once last time for the night, implanting your face in his brain as he walked back home, his thoughts only on you.

He had shook his head at himself, he couldn’t believe he was completely flustered. He didn’t want to admit the fact that you made him feel this much but his face fully gave it away when your lips met his, he couldn’t help but turn dark red.

But he definitely didn’t regret kissing you or having this date with you tonight.

You made him feel more alive than the scouts ever did.

I'm not sure if you did this already but I was thinking of First date prompt 🥺

A/N: No problem! These are all SFW by the way! (Pretty shocking coming from me 😭😭)

Louis:

- Mr. Vanilla

- Invites you to dinner only to be a complete snob the entire time. Grills you the with a million anxiety inducing questions before the food even arrives.

- The type that will scoff when you order juice or tea at dinner, then proceed to tell the waiter you’ll have a glass of whatever fine wine he’s drinking.

- He doesn’t mean to be an asshole, he’s just nervous. He wants you to like him (because he already really really likes you), so he’s trying to make a good impression even though it comes off as arrogant and narcissistic.

- Kisses your hand at the end of the night once he walks you to your door. If you seem receptive he’ll probably go for a real kiss but he’s kind of been a jerk all night so you probably don’t let it happen.

- Sends a bouquet of flowers the next morning to express his gratitude in being able to spend the evening with you. Honestly, it’s probably the only thing that got him a second date (which went infinitely better than the first).

Legoshi:

- Is a nervous wreck the entire night, but luckily for him it’s endearing and kind of cute.

- Thinks he’s constantly going to mess up, says sorry a lot. Also has times where he goes completely quiet because he’s overthinking things. It’s a little unnerving but you make sure to snap him out of it.

- The date is something pretty chill, like a Ice Cream Shop date followed by a night stroll while eating said ice cream.

- Walks you home but wouldn’t dare go for the kiss, he’s way too shy for that on the first date. You, however, had a great time and probably are the one to pull him down for a kiss. He’s frozen in place at first but returns it once his brains starts working again.

- The second date goes by kind of like the first, he’s just not AS nervous, still pretty anxious though.

Juno:

- Invites you somewhere SHE likes, that you weren’t sure about but end up enjoying anyway. Probably somewhere like a Play, or the Opera, etc.

- She’s not completely self-centered, she made sure to pick something that you would enjoy too (and you did.)

- Holds your hand as she walks you home, she’s very confident naturally but she feels extra reassured as she hears you go on and on about how much you liked the show.

- Goes for the kiss but keeps it short and sweet. You kinda wish she had advanced a little further but you decide to just be happy that she kissed you at all.

- Second date is just as amazing as the first, this time the two of you do something that you like.

Riz:

- Very laid back guy, not really nervous for the date because he’s probably hung out with you so many times before he even asked you out.

- The two of you do something relaxing like go to the movies. He, of course, picks a scary movie and you’re grateful because it gives you a chance to cling to his bulging muscles that you may or may not have been staring at all night.

- When his hand brushes agains yours in the popcorn, he laughs and puts the bucket down in the seat next to him so he can hold your hand.

- Walks you home and kisses you. And yes, it’s hot and he has you pressed against your front door. You ask him if he’d like to come in so the two of you could take this inside but he chuckles and offers a “maybe next time.”

- There’s definitely a next time, with the two of you having your second date just a couple of days later.

Bill:

- Takes you to a party. You don’t know anybody there but him, meanwhile he knows nearly everyone there. Or at least they know him.

- Everyone’s trying to get his attention and you end up feeling left out and lonely.

- When he finally comes back from getting you a drink after being held up by two different groups of people trying to rope him into long conversations, you tell him you’re leaving.

- He feels bad and leaves with you. Drives you home and the car ride is kind of awkward. Bids you goodnight but doesn’t walk you to your door. (He’s an asshole)

- Doesn’t text or call or talk to you for a few days. You were sure you were never going to hear from him again when finally, he calls you out of the blue and apologizes sincerely for the horrible date.

- Makes it up to you on the second date, the two of you do one of those two person bike-riding tours. It’s fun and you end up kissing him at the end of the night. He’s an excellent smoocher.

Collot:

- Mr. Vanilla 2.0

- Takes you somewhere like a Insect Sanctuary or a botanical garden. You’re bored out of your mind the entire time but he’s enjoying it so you fake it.

- He honestly believes that you’re enjoying yourself and is over the moon that the date is going so well. Buys you a huge stuffed insect plushie at the giftshop. You weren’t a fan of bugs but even you had to admit the plushie was pretty adorable. It’s too big though, so he had to carry it for you.

- Once he walks you to your door, you can tell he’s about to call the date to an end but you’ll be damned if you go the entire night without having any fun so you brazenly invite him in.

- Surprisingly, he accepts and the two of you are up all night with bugs being the furthest things from your minds. He might be a little boring, but Collot is very exciting in other aspects.

- When he leaves the next morning, you hate to see him go but he promises the two of you can go out again next weekend. You agree but tell him you get to pick what you two do.

aeira, aria (yeah. i know i gave them identical names and my dumb ass realized it quite late) are the possessive type. you know the type who always claims that they are never jealous, they claim to be all chill and good but the moment they see someone else with their man, they turn possessive. they are not the explosive type – more the "i have earned my position as his wife and you could never be me." although they are both unhappy with their current predicament but in these moments, it feels like such an achievement.

rei and tanaz are the real unbothered ones. in the case of rei, she is not really scared of losing jimin because it is jimin's job to fear losing rei which he takes very seriously. jimin is clingy, does not understand the concept of personal space, is always dotting on rei. and then for tanaz, she never agreed to be married to taehyung's narcissistic ass. they really don't have any reason to be jealous. when they see someone flirting with their men, i think they feel more like 'what do you even see in him? he is insufferable!'

shiza wants to divorce yoongi but then again, she would not stand being cheated on. she takes it personally and after everything that has happened, she does not need another trauma in life. legit sneers at women who look at yoongi lol. even with valentina, she was happy that now she would get a ground to file for divorce but the sheer thought that she would get cheated on really woke up something primal in her.

dany finds it hilarious, totally jokes about how some girl was fawning over her husband. laughs at him even and tries so bad to keep a straight face when she is around and someone else is trying to hit on hoseok. teases him later and no, she is never going to let him live it down. she is the type who always brings it up like "oh, flowers for me? thought you would only give flowers to cindy from HR." girl knows how to have fun.

toxic men:

hardcore yanderes: jjk, pjm would be out for blood. you don't just hit on their girls without some serious consequences. i mean, with his whole ass chest, pjm punched the guy rei worked with just because he thought the guy was hitting on her. someone actually flirting with her? he would throw hands. jjk is also fairly the physical kinda guy, he is always ready to hand some entitled brat's ass back to them.

soft yanderes: i don't see knj and jhs being too vocal about it. they might throw dirty looks at the guy but would not necessarily make a scene or overthink the situation. they are a calculative bunch.

tsunderes: good luck making kth and myg jealous lol. it ain't happening. taehyung would be like dany in this respect; passing comments, sneering, and laughing when he sees someone else hitting on his wife. and yoongo... this guy is literally a rock, he won't even bat an eye and overlook it.
