As someone who generally despises romcoms... this one was actually SUPER enjoyable! Incredibly well written, funny, and emotional (...as all romcoms claim to be.) My mom made me sit down and watch it with the family and I’m glad she did bc I would NEVER have watched it on my own.

Random fact: Reading body language is very natural to me. I've never learned the nuances of it, but it's very easy for me to tune in on someone's state of mind and even understand their thought process. All by reading them visually. This can be extended to species other than human.

Aesthetics: Wildness. A deep forest where the only sounds is nature. Rocks of all colors and deep blue water. The smell of pine and dirt and grass and the crisp feel of a fall wind on your face.

i want to get into comics. i fell in love with dick grayson and then with the batfamily and i want to read more. do you have some recs?

I think @freya-faust, @teatitty, @dcsworstnightmare, and @thebatbaes could probably help better than I can, nonnie!

Personal favorites though? The entire We Are Robin arc, Titans (2016 run I think it was), Red Hood and the Outlaws (tbh I loved how Rebirth started, but stop reading like. After Bruce accepts Jason and they eat burgers, so both lineups are good), Red Robin (2006), and, uh, I think that’s it.

GRAB THE BOOK NEAREST YOU AND TURN TO PAGE 23. WHAT’S LINE 17? First one I saw when I walked into my room was The Blood Mirror by Brent Weeks (book 4 of his Lightbringer series, another great read). And line 17 literally just reads: “Win the War.” So that’s that on that.

“EVER HAD A POEM OR SONG WRITTEN ABOUT YOU? Yeah, actually. A poem. I had a lit assignment once to talk about a memory or something of a friend, and one of my friends who had the same assignment also had no idea what to write for it, so we wrote our poems about each other. 

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU PLAYED AIR GUITAR? I have no idea, but I frequently air clarinet fingerings?

WHO IS YOUR CELEBRITY CRUSH? Alexander the Great. I’m not even kidding, it’s a huge joke among my friends.

WHAT’S A SOUND YOU HATE + SOUND YOU LOVE? The trumpets at my school are mostly terrible, so I’m gonna go with bad trumpets for lack of anything worse that I hate. As for a sound I love... umm you know when you’re wearing heels and they click on the floor when you walk? That’s about 50% of my aesthetic.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS? Nah, they’re not really my jam.

HOW ABOUT ALIENS? There is for sure some huge underwater life beneath Europa’s frozen surface. I’m calling it now.

DO YOU DRIVE? Yeah.

IF SO, HAVE YOU EVER CRASHED? Yeah...

WHAT WAS THE LAST BOOK YOU READ? Marked (the 9th book in the Alex Verus series) by Benedict Jacka. Seriously, please read it. It’s such a great and relatable urban fantasy, it covers some darker topics but also it’s hilarious, and the books are cheap and there are so few of us who read it.

DO YOU LIKE THE SMELL OF GASOLINE? If I ever say yes to this, that’s the day where I’ve officially gone insane.

WHAT WAS THE LAST MOVIE YOU SAW? Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was a family movie night sort of deal and that was the only thing we could agree on.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OBSESSIONS RIGHT NOW? The better question, generally, is what aren’t I obsessed with? But also I started rewatching Teen Titans recently (still holding out for season 6) so yeah that.

DO YOU TEND TO HOLD GRUDGES AGAINST PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE YOU WRONG? I’m kind of the forgive but never forget sort of person? But also if someone messes with anyone I care about then I’ll carry that animosity to my grave.

IN A RELATIONSHIP? Nope!
