anyways... here's why i think Loki and Matt Murdock should be each other's narrative foil(romantic):

• Loki- famously known liar, Matt Murdock- able to tell when people are lying

• Both wear helmets with horns on them, but Matt's are small and practical and Loki's are large and gaudy.

• Matt Murdock- Practicing Irish Catholic, Loki- Norse "God" of Mischief

• Loki- Presents himself as selfish and self preserving, Matt Murdock- Presents himself as selfless and self sacrificing

• Loki- Will flee if he knows he's gonna get his ass kicked for no gain, Matt Murdock- Knows he's gonna get his ass kicked for no gain and does it anyway

• They simply seem like prime material for a "We vehemently dislike each other up until we (whoops!) realize we love each other so much we can't live without the other" type romance that I am always obsessed over.

• Thor would enjoy it, and, frankly, he deserves the entertainment.

I think one underrated tragedy of Ice King's scars is that he probably took away Simon's sense of levity.

Like in his very limited appearances before Simon is consumed by the crown we see he's kind of a silly dude. In his introduction video, he only put on the crown in order to playfully tease his fiancee. Plus watching him make light of the loneliness and general misery for a young girl in a broken world. He was a dedicated man, who was generous and loved with his whole heart and threw himself one hundred percent into everything he did. He was also a fun lil guy.

But after almost a millennia of being a mad man, the brunt of every joke, someone who only existed as a broken caricature of himself and couldn't be counted on to take anything seriously, I imagine he was done with it. Now he wants to focus back on his academic endeavors, on his role as a father figure in Marcy's life, on being a proper adult. Any attempts to be silly could easily remind everyone - including himself- of Ice King, something he's eager to avoid.

So his jokes and jibes and general lightheartedness turned to sarcasm and self deprecating comments.

This is after that though, when Danny decides to join Damian in his dimension. Clockwork agrees, but he warns them that while it’s been almost a year for them, it’s been only a month back in Gotham, and their bodies will change to match that, with a few abnormalities for Danny. The journey may also cause Ellie to de age.

Now, the Batfam have been looking for Damian for a while, driving themselves crazy. They got confirmation that magic was involved, and are assuming it’s a kidnapping. So when a portal opens in their backyard, they are expecting a fight.

They aren’t expecting Damian to step out with another boy who had Black hair with a white streak like Jason, but bigger. He was cradling a baby who had the same dark hair.

“It’s weird seeing you look so young again.” The unknown boy says. Then, he sees them, and they all notice how one of his eyes is almost glowing green. “You ready to introduce me and the munchkin to your family? ‘Cause they are staring at us like they have seen a ghost.”
