Can you please tell me what abilities sun wukong have because am always confused about it i even hear some people says that sun wukong is omniscient and omnipresent and can control time or that he is is a boundless character

At no point in JTTW is Monkey ever depicted as a boundless character with omniscience, omnipresence, and control over time. Anyone claiming that has never read the novel. Never ever trust any online claims about Sun Wukong unless a cited quote is provided.

Having said that, I am slowly compiling a comprehensive list of all of Monkey's magical abilities and skills, complete with corresponding Chinese terms and citations. However, I am nowhere close to being done (and won't be for years), so I can only give you a general list at this time. But I will link to my past articles where applicable.

The following is based on a list I wrote a few months ago for someone looking to make their D&D campaign more authentic.

Immortality - He has six layers of immortality. But these are more like layers of invulnerability. As a "bogus immortal" (yaoxian, 妖仙) he is still susceptible to injury and death because he hasn’t yet achieved Buddha-nature and broken free of the wheel of rebirth (see note #1 here for an explanation).

Invulnerability - He has an adamantine hide that can't be pierced or hurt by earthly or heavenly weapons and elements (this doesn't count the times that he allows himself to be cut). This is thanks to all of the immortal foodstuff he had eaten in heaven being refined within his body by his samadhi fire, giving him a "diamond body" (jingang zhi qu, 金鋼之軀). Sometimes he uses this invulnerability to freak out demons by blocking a sword strike with his bald head. However, he can still be hurt. For example, he is twice wounded by special elements born from spiritual cultivation, samadhi fire and wind (the book treats cultivated and heavenly elements as two different things). Also, one villain, a scorpion demoness energized with Buddhist dharma power, is able to successfully penetrate his skin by stinging him in the face with her tail.

72 changes - He can transform into anything. The only flaw is his tail, which doesn't always change the way he wants it to. Or, a character recognizes him because of his red butt.

Cloud somersault - This allows him to fly 108,000 li (33,554 mi / 54,000 km) in a single leap. The skill is actually a metaphor for instantaneous enlightenment, for those who achieve it will immediately arrive in the Buddha's paradise.

Magic hairs - He can change any one of his 84,000 hairs into anything he wants (tools, random objects, living creatures, etc.) These include hair clones, which are autonomous copies of himself that can range into the tens, hundreds, thousands, millions, or even billions. However, he only deploys these on a small scale in the novel. He never uses the power to its full stated extent.

Super strength - His greatest feat is carrying two mountains while running "with the speed of a meteor." But there are characters physically stronger than him. For instance, Monkey cannot escape the grip of the Great Peng bird once he is caught in his powerful talons.

Martial arts - He is proficient in armed and unarmed combat, being able to go toe-to-toe with deities with centuries more combat experience than him. "Short Fist," a historical style, is listed as his preferred boxing method. But he mainly relies on his magic iron staff for fighting.

General magic - Monkey is shown capable of calling forth gods and spirits, growing or shrinking to any size, parting fire and water, creating impassable barriers, conjuring wind storms, casting illusions, freezing people in place, putting anyone to sleep, unlocking any lock, bestowing superhuman strength, bringing the dead back to life, turning invisible, changing someone's appearance, traveling to and from heaven and hell, etc.

Magic Eyes - He can see through illusions. But this isn't always portrayed consistently, for I know of several times where Guanyin fools him, and even a god of the soil, a lesser deity, is once able to do the same thing.

Medicine - He can diagnose maladies and concoct medicines to solve the issue.

You can see that omniscience, omnipresence, and control over time are not listed. I think the problem is that people are confusing Sun Wukong at two different points in his character arc. The powers listed above come from the journey itself (ch. 13 to 100). The omni-level powers would come after he achieves Buddhahood at the end of the novel (ch. 100). However, it's very, very important to know that the story ends before Sun Wukong, now the "Victorious Fighting Buddha," performs any feats (i.e. he has no feats as a Buddha). I'm sure people could assign him powers ascribed to other Buddhas in religious literature, but what happens after the story ends is beyond canon.

Stone Monkey: himbs baby, that is all <3 he's mostly based off the François Langur, but some of his anatomy and proportions lean more on the Gray Langur and Macaque side of things. His facial fur sort of forms a pentagon shape for the five elements, and I gave him ginger fur cus it's a common depiction for him but also baby langurs are very bright orange, and him not growing dark feels like an apt display of his more childish side, both good and bad. His nails are golden for a bit of a "hidden gem" from a stone egg. Also keeping the tail either in a spiral of C-curve when "engaged", and when droopy it has a feel of a heavy rope. Old World monkeys don't have prehensile tails, he can use it for balance and basic mobility but it's not a third hand for the sake of keeping his monkey-ness.

Handsome Monkey King: in one of the poems the monkeys are said to weave grass for mattresses, so I can see them coming up with a crown of woven grass and never-fading leaves and flowers for their king at the very least. His face skin is darker as an adult, but not much else changes overall. The fuzzy upper lips and sideburns are a feature of the species I'm basing him on and it felt like a good fit to add. I also love the forest langurs are so long-furred, makes for a good way to give him dimension but also, the linework style reminds me of old woodcut shorthands for fur. Added a jade coin for the symbolism, and it feels fitting that the king of such a miraculous mountain would have a treasure like that on him. Placcid chill eyes are imperative, dude's not had an existential crisis yet, he's straight up vibing.

Sun Wukong: during his odd-ten years away from home, he learned human manners so he can stand but, I can see him still needing to lean on his tail to keep up his balance here and there. As he reaches the Western Continent (India) and learns the Way under Patriarch Subodhi, he adopts proper clothes for an apprentice and eventually becomes a Rishi. He dons his facial paint from then on, and after he masters the Way, there's a brightness in his pupils to show his cultivated immortality. The beads are purple solely to stand out over the deluge of oranges that is his design.

Great Sage Equal to Heaven: really went all out on this one orz this is Wukong at his most egotistical and ambitious, and I wanted his fit to truly embody that. Took bits from Peking Opera costumes and common depiction elements of him, with some bit of extra for appropriate levels of flair, like the phoenix feather design. I wanted to go for a mountain pattern mail but I couldn't figure out how to draw it, so I winged a pattern. I,,, doubt I'll ever draw this armor as detailed as here, but I wanted it to feel a bit overwhelming to look at, while also seeming like it doesn't quite fit him perfectly like it's swallowing him. Bit of a "baby wearing their parent's shoes" kind of vibe; he's stupidly powerful but he doesn't have what it takes to sit on the throne of Heaven. Also I leaned his expression to how he might appear during the Havoc in Heaven and then his bet with the Buddha. Full unbrindled rage murder monkey <3

-- Ruyi Jingu Bang: can't quite move on without my notes on the golden-hooped cudgel, now can I? The secondary hoops are there for further design appeal and for my own visualization of how the staff changes size (the hoops move over the staff's length as if to push it outward or inward). The metal is dark damascus alloy, though the pattern can be omitted for ease of drawing. One hoop end depicts a dragon, the other a phoenix, and in the middle of the staff is the canon inscription as described in the books, in seal script. Glow is optional and mostly for aesthetics.

Sun Pilgrim: out of his stolen armor, Wukong seems to swim in his robes but in a less overwhelming way. Went for the simple fillet headband cus his face is busy enough as it is. I know he's skilled enough to skin a tiger into pretty decent squares, but after one too many battles, anything would get tattered. He wears red, teal, black and yellow, four of the five cardinal colors, while white (the West) is still missing. His red and black half-robe doesn't fully cover the yellow underneath, a call back to his golden armor; he tries to use his wisdom and teachings to fight back the impulses of his past, but they still shine through at times. I kept only the leg bangs for dynamic elements to better show movement, but also one could say he's got.... golden hoops (haha get it, like his cudgel?? :oD)

Victorious Fighting Buddha: leaned hard on the actual portrayals of the Buddha. Seeing that he's depicted with dark/blue skin, it felt appropriate to let the guy grow out of his baby ginger fur and into adult black, but a patch remains where the golden headband used to be. I didn't want to give him long hair so no bun, but instead, his fur has a sorta lotus-petals shape now rather than his single point. His face paint changes into a more domino-mask style, and his brow white line resembles a teardrop urna. I made the mail piece he holds longer to keep the flowy bits of his previous outfits, and I turned Ruyi Jingu Bang into the sword he wields.

This take me longer that i expected! Wow! Anyway, enjoy!

Thor

He sees you waiting for him at the gods' entrance before being stoped by Lubu's army

After take care of it, he go and greet you pating you head with a sweet smile

He doesn't say much in his way to the infirmary while been followed by you, but you can tell there something diferent with him, he looks thoughtful

While his injuries were been treated he makes sure you stay by his side (the nurses don't dare ti say something about it)

After that he will tell how he would have liked to meet Lubu in other circumstances. Thor doesn't say much, but he keeps that soft expresion and smile, that human truly surprised him

After that you two stay together to see the rest of the fights, now seen the humans in a diferent way, with more respect

Sasaki Kyojiro

He was injured and bleeding, but he was smiling

After greeting you Sasaki practically fall in your arms, he doesn't have more energy, you and Hrist have to guide him to the to the infirmary to be treated

On your way he can't stop smiling and giggling, telling you how much fun he had in the fight

Both Hrist and you will congratulate him and scold him for worring you so much

After his wounds were treated you'll stay with him to make sure he rest, in the meantime he will tell you about his experience in the fight and how happy he is for his first victory

If you still worried about him and his injuries he will reassure you that he's fine, it doesn't hurt anymore.

After that you stay by his side, and with the others to see the rest of the fights. Sasaki offer you (and to Hrist too) to explain things you may not understand about the fighting techniques

When they go to help Buddha (when he meet the Gods of Fortune) he probably do it behind your back so you won't try to stop him he's too stubborn anyways

Jack the Ripper

He was injured, bleeding and people were throwing things at him and yet he walked calmly and elegantly. When he notice you in the humans' entrance he greet you with a soft smile.

In your way to the infirmary he didn't say much and he looks very thoughtful. If you offer your help he will try to denied but at the end he acepted

You wait until his wounds are treated to talk to him

When you ask him about the fight and how he feels he will tell you, but offer you some tea while both talk

This become a long talk about what happen and the colors he saw in Heracles

Its notorious that this affected him but in a good way, Jack himself expresed that he's happy to had the oportunity to met him

After his wounds were treated both of you ended up going where Hlokk she wasn't happy to see Jack but she don't force you to go away

Hlook offer you a sit and she start making a convesetion with you, that ended being she complaining about Jack, she even ask you why you are with him, to which Jack just laughed

Shiva

When he sees you at the gods' entrance he greeting you with a proud smile, as much as he would love to embrace you Shiva makes sure to keep distance (he was in fire a moment ago after all)

In his way to the infirmary he doesn't stop talking to you, asking you if you saw him fight and what did you think

While his wounds are treated you probably have to wait outsite the infirmary, but after you'll stay by his side, sitting in a comfy sofa beside him (along side with his other wifes)

Both of you will have a long chat about the fight, he had to wait long to finally fight and got excited, now he can't stop talking about it

And, for sure, Shiva will tell you how great fighter Raiden was and how he gave his best until the end

He even mentioned how he heared all your voices cheering him and that help him continue and, of course, will tease you for that

Buddha

When Buddha greet you he see how worried you was for him, he embrace you and give you a soft kiss in the forehead. On his way to the infirmary he keeps a soft smile.

His wounds were treated pretty quickly. If you were with him when he left the infirmary (with the excuse that he was bored) he just tell you to follow him, if you ask him where you're going he won't tell you. But if you weren't there he won't tell you, for sure you'll know where to find him

If you scold him for leaving the infirmary he will just laugh and tell you not to worry about it, he is fine!

He promise to take proper rest only if you stay with him, both of you ended up cuddling and eating candies

Buddha will talk about the fight just if ask, you can notice how this truly affect him, but in the end he is happy for Zerofuku (i mean he ended happy again). If you say something about how he changed to humans side he will laugh at it, to him is funny to remember it (especially the gods' reaction)

If you seem afected for this too he will reassure you that everything is fine don't worry your pretty head

Qin Shi Huang

He sees you for afar in the humans' entrance and smile at you brightly

He was helping Alvitr stand when Qin himself falls to the ground

Alvitr inmediatly start screaming for help and you run to their side, helping her carried Qin. Don't take much for the nurses to came and carry him to the infirmary while you help Alvitr

Since they were serious injured you have to wait outsite the infirmary while they are treated

Being that his condition is so delicate you will have to wait outside the infirmary. Brunhilde reassure you that he and Alvitr will be fine, thanks to the medicine of the Gods

Once he wake up one of the first things in his mind is you, he wants to see you. When you greet him Qin call you name with a big smile and a cheerful voice, he is acting as if he didn't just wake up after putting his life in risk, you'll have to make him stay still, remember him that he need to rest!

So you weren't really surprised when he switched sides and chose to fight against the gods. Just your typical Buddha. This didn't mean you were less worried about seeing him carelessly risking his life. Ragnarok was no joke and you weren't willing to see him die. Yet, you keep doing what he'd want you to: support him and cheer on him; not that there's anything else you can do. And he wins. Bleeding, barely standing, but victorious. He told you he was going to win and he did. As he is brought to the infirmary, you rush to reach him, before anyone else - Brunhilde included. Buddha smiles as soon as he sees you. "I am the honored one, ain't I?" he ironizes - holding back from coughing blood in your presence. He wants you to think that he is fine, as if hasn't been on the brink of the death just a few minutes before. You are shivering - scared, mad, upset, as he keep talking about the candies he would like to eat. You know he just wants you to feel at ease - to be proud of him, to raise a toast, because of him humanity is a step closer to its survival. "I could have lost you." Buddha laughs - and by the way he reacts, you realize how he is trying to hide the pain behind a seemingly relaxed smile. "Don't think about what could've been. I won, that's what matters." "You don't really have anything else to say?" "Actually I do. I believe I deserve a prize. A kiss or those candies I told you about could do it. Both are fine too though."

Okay so this is part of 'The King and His Cub's lore where Wukong is aware of another rock besides him and he often came to visit the rock. At one point when he invited Macaque over he had asked "Oh what's this?" and Wukong replied "I think that's my kid in there!" and Macaque said "Is that so" At one point, Macaque took over taking care of the tiny rock when Wukong got imprisoned. The tiny rock hatched when Wukong came back as the 'Victorious Fighting Buddha'

Buddha was…a difficult patient. Despite all of the odds that were stacked against him in his fight with Zero, he won. Yet his victory for humanity isn’t an excuse to sneak out of his room to bask underneath the canopy of his bodhi tree and enjoy a passing breeze with sun shining down from the sky.

That is one of the reasons why Brunhilde had summoned Lady [First Name] [Last Name] from Helheim despite being a demon; before she had been killed by Muzan after drugging him with an elixir during their confrontation in the Infinity Castle, Lady [First Name} had been a doctor. Together with her companion Yushiro, she helped as many humans as she could with their alignments,including those who had been afflicted with Muzan’s poisonous blood and became flesh-eating demons.

In retrospect, dying to give the Demon Slayers a chance to destroy the man who had ruined her human life wasn’t a terrible thing…but Lady [First Name] had not expected to wake up in a dark wasteland teeming with demons that were just as dangerous, if not more, than the demon king himself. It was through sheer dumb luck that she had survived for so long until the Valkyrie had brought from her ‘punishment’ and offered her the position of being humanity’s chief physician in the medical wing.

It did not take the young woman very much time to give Brunhilde an answer. At this point anything was better than being stuck in Helheim. Disinfecting wounds, monitoring a patient’s health, and making sure that they are being properly fed? Yes. She can do that.

But the demon did not recall that being the ‘chief physician’ also meant chasing after a stubborn god.

Shaking her head in disbelief, Lady [First Name] walked up the steep grassy hill as best as she could in her [Favorite Color] kimono and zori sandals till she was standing right behind Buddha, munching on snacks that she specifically recalled telling him to cut back on until he was ready for the next stage of his treatment.

“Why am I not surprised to find you here, my lord?”

“Should ya even be surprised anymore, doc?” Buddha snarked back, unwrapping a candy bar and throwing it in his mouth. “Besides, do you really believe I’d miss an opportunity to get some fresh air?”

She frowned. “I never said that there was a problem with being outside, Lord Buddha. In fact, it is supposed to improve your sleep, cognition, and overall well-being rather than being confined indoors all of the time. I did, however, say that you can but it would be in everyone’s benefit to inform myself or the staff that you wish to go outside instead of sneaking out. Lady Brunhilde was quite upset when she came to the medical wing earlier this afternoon to find out that you were…missing.”

“Bruni will be fine, she’s a lot tougher than she looks, believe me. Let her focus on the eighth round. I might have won but we still need more wins if the gods’ll leave the humans alone. More importantly,” He glanced over his shoulder, a single aquamarine orb staring right at her. “Do I even know you?”

Lady [First Name] tilted her head, staring at him for a moment before smiling softly. It appears that Lady Brunhilde was not joking when she had casually mentioned just how laid-back Buddha is…or simply doesn’t give a shit about anyone. The Valkyrie’s words, not hers, thank you very much. But being a doctor secretly researching demonic transformations or performing blood transfusions did not have its own issues. She also had to handle human patients too. Inhaling a deep breath through her nostrils, she calmed her anger before answering Buddha.

“All you need to know is that my job is to ensure the mental and physical health of all humanity’s champions, Lord Buddha. It goes against my oath as a doctor to force a patient to do something against their will. In this scenario, however, I offer…an ultimatum.” She paused, staring at the blonde-haired deity. Since Buddha didn’t interrupt nor look away, the demon took this as a cue to elaborate.

“I will speak to the staff and allow you to lounge outside here or in the greenhouse until a fixed time. When that time is up, you must return to your room and rest. Yes, this is a curfew, but this is the best that I can offer you right now. You may no longer be in critical condition, though there is a chance that your health or recovery might have some setbacks.”

She could tell immediately that Buddha wasn’t too thrilled with this restriction. No one likes having someone hovering over their shoulder or counting down the minutes until they have to go back to their room when all they want is a little time to themselves before running through medical tests for the nth time of the day.

“Is there any chance you can include snacks-”

“That will be taken into consideration once your bloodwork comes back, Lord Buddha.” Lady [First Name] chuckled, witnessing one of the most powerful gods pouting petulantly like a child. Shaking her head, she decided to do something that she hadn’t done in all of her years of practicing medicine: she sat next to him under the bodhi tree, paying no heed to getting grass stains on her kimono as she stared up at the floating islands of Valhalla in comfortable silence.

He did not say anything….that was progress. Maybe?

Thor :

He wasn't paying attention at first because, lets be honest here, no even the other humans looked convinced that you would stand a chance, let alone win, but you proved them wrong. You did more than win, you kicked major ass. You sustained the least injuries out of all of the human fighters and put on quite the spectacle too. Explosions, gun shots that almost broke the laws of physics, and a victory that left him more than curious about you. How would you fair against him? Your style seems to be stealthily planned strikes so he would have to be on his toes. It makes him wonder if he would have done better than the poor weakling pinned against you.

Buddha :

He wasn't surprised in the slightest, impressed yes, but not surprised. He got to know you a little when you briefly crossed paths an hour ago. He could feel your resolve, even if you seemed concerned for the valkryie helping you to victory. You were kind and it showed to the very end as you reluctantly used a technique you swore you would never use again. So to see you use it when you were out of options and then sob over the god you killed as they faded away he knew you were hurting from a sadness only you could understand. For that, he pities you greatly.

Shiva :

He wasn't sure what to think. You were tiny, sure, but to see you fight was like watching himself fight. Your moves were like his dance and just as deadly, hence your victory, but he's sure if he were to meet you he would get along with you without a hitch. He can see a kindness in you. From how you sobbed over the death of your opponent to how you told the humans that you despised them for cheering at the death of a god. That senseless death that could have been avoided shouldn't be praised, but the humans did not hear you. They continued their cheers and you continued to cry. Such a kind heart from a cruel cruel world. He almost wishes you had met him in his prime, back when humanity admired gods for their strength and strived to enjoy the simple things. He believes you would have like a life like that better than the one you led.

Jack the Ripper :

He wasn't watching at the beginning, too busy tending to his wounds to be bothered to watch the tournament's latest brawl, but the silence of the stadium eventually catch his interest. He wasn't sure what he should expect when he entered on of the viewing rooms, but he sure wasn't expecting to see a giant fighting a child. At least, that's how it looked from where he was looking. He had his comments on it, of course, as he sipped his tea. he thought you would die, especially after you displayed his favorite color as you ran from the monster hot on your heels, but then your color changed to one that he's never seen so vibrantly before. Next thing he knew, you had won against the odds to display such an agonizing color. He's never seen someone shine with the color you had. It was so close to the color he loves, yet entirely different. He thought it curious when your valkryie had to guide you off the arena ground to the infirmary where he's positive you're still crying. What a sad existence you live, just like him.

Sasaki Kyojirou :

Oh boy. That was his first thought as the battle began with you volleying bullets at close quarters with your opponent. He wasn't sure if you were going to make it. As he's seen, gods can dodge bullets from a divine weapon if they're fast enough and it looked like your opponent was no different until you grazed him with a quick shot, one where it was obvious you didn't aim and had hit him by mere coincidence. However, even then, he noticed how your eyes never changed. You remained calm and enacted your plan perfectly. Though it wasn't enough, he could see you hadn't given up yet. Even when you ran away from your opponent you never surrendered. You kept pushing forward with a resolve that never wavered. He found himself admiring it. Then, with a last ditch effort, you won, but he found it strange that you began to cry. You had won. You should have been happy to be alive, so why were you so sad? He doesn't understand it.

I know you've said Wukong doesn't like sl!macaques doctor, may I ask why? Is it simply because their close, or other reasons? (BTW I'm also curious of wukongs first reaction to the doctor was, because all my brains doing is just wukong seeing them interact and just going :O then >:( )

The doctor is a snake , and his nature is... welll... The doctor isn't slacking off with mischevious and offensive teasing.

Oh how he took care when Mac was wounded many times in the past and Wukong wasn't there to protect him Oh how many suitors Macaque had to deal with because his husband wasn't there Oh how great times that was for the doctor himself! How his Lord is powerful without such a useless god! Shen teasing Wukong with the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, the Victorious Fighting Buddha, knowing healing magic of all things (Cuz he healed a bit Mac after Azure's fight)

(Quick explanation, Shen is a thief of names, basically every defeated suitor was sent to him and he had grown in power stealing name of the suitor)

And Wukong can't hurt the man cuz of vows and promise to Mac he will not cause any problems on the island-

A/N: The hype is real 🏃🏼‍♀️

It all started easy enough.

Buddha was having dinner with his friend, (Name), drinks and food was always welcome with Buddha. A social event he didn’t mind attending with his friends Kintoki and (Name).

Of course, everything was well as they trio ate together underneath a beautiful and tall tree. Buddha noticed (Name) wasn’t eating their vegetables, recalling that he never saw (Name) partake in eating vegetables. Buddha wasn’t one on making someone do something they didn’t want to do, but he wished (Name) would eat a carrot at least.

They are good for the eyes.

“Ugh! I hate Brussels sprouts! Carrots even more!”

Speaking of which, (Name) casually flung a innocent carrot which made a direct on Buddha’s forehead making Kintoki snicker as he helped himself to (Name)’s broccoli. Apologizing, (Name) saw Buddha remove the carrot from his forehead with a disappointed look on his face then proceeded to quickly stick the carrot in their mouth.

“You know what? You’re going to eat your vegetables today.”

That was how it started.

Kintoki watched as the two went back forth arguing and hitting each other with food, rather it was just (Name) throwing vegetables while Buddha used his foresight, dodged it and then catching them making her eat the vegetables. Chuckling, Kintoki watched as (Name) tried to throw a piece of candy at Buddha, however that back fired as Buddha opened his mouth and the soft candy landed on his tongue, and as “finale” swallowed it with a smile.

(Name) found this quite frustrating as the food fight was one sided, thanks to Buddha’s foresight.

“Stop cheating-“

Buddha took the opportunity to throw a piece of broccoli and it landed in (Name)’s mouth, chewing Buddha’s opponent fell backwards with a disgusted look while muttering, “This poison.” Kintoki raised Buddha’s arm declaring him the winner of the food fight as Buddha smiled in victory.

From that day on the two consistently had food fights of sorts, one day (Name) did get the upper hand as they had tricked Buddha into eating a lollipop that was celery flavored.

Buddha wasn’t a fan of vegetables but he did eat them and he hoped he could get his friend to do the same one day with out the food fight.

I actually adore the idea of Wukong disguising himself as a mortal and working at Pigsy's while also discovering his own interests outside of being the Monkey King. Dude's been stuck in one job and one position for like, 2000 years, a job he presumably had since he was a KID if you think about how old he must have been when he became the Monkey King. And his responsibilities only increased as he grew older and suddenly he wasn't just the Monkey King, he was Sun Wukong, the Sage Equal to Heaven. The Prisoner of the Golden Hoop. The Eldest of Tripitaka's Pilgrims. The Hero of the Mortal Realm. All these titles and responsibilities just piled up onto this one monkey man who honestly just wanted to be able to live peacefully with his subjects and eat peaches all day.

That's not even getting into the trauma of the war against Heaven, his punishment in the furnace, the 500 years in the mountain, prejudice and abuse from both mortals and celestial beings and other demons, the Journey, and the I weren't trauma of being immortal and having to watch all your lov3d ones die.

Throughout his life; Sun Wukong is used to having so many names. There's an entire research article about it.

Branded with the birthname "Tianchan Shihou" in the Ledger of the Dead - now a literal deadname since he's crossed it out. The word "Shihou" being a privilege only his dearest moonlight is allowed to utter as a petname. He's been The Monkey King, he's been the Bimawen, The Great Sage Equal to Heaven, The Youngest Brother of the Brotherhood, Taiyi Sanxian/"Leisurely Immortal of the Great Monad" or the "Bogus Immortal" in his time as a celestial layabout. Sun Xingzhe/"Pilgrim Sun" during his Journey, and granted the titles "The Great Sage Steel Muscles and Iron Bones", and the "Victorious Fighting Buddha" by the Tang Emperor and the Buddha respectively when his Journey was done.

But after a long, long, long life with all those names, they start to feel more like filler than substance in his life. And certain names that actually meant something died with his friends or his mate many centuries ago.

But now in this "secret identity" he's adapted?

He's just Qi Wu.

Qi Wu; kitchen assistant and delivery driver for Pigsy's Noodles. Owner of an art history degree he worked day and night to achieve at the University.

Qi Wu; mate/husband to Mihou ("maiden" surname Xingjun), the most beautiful and talented theatre preformer in all of China (in Wu's opinion).

Qi Wu; father to a boundless gaggle of demons and alike. The eldest a tall scaly adoptee with lotus flowers in his hair. Firstborn a boy with a wild grin like his own. A firey girl brought in from a tragedy. A little stray shadow taken in from the cold. An impulsive former student turned dutiful son. A pair of twins the visual clone of their Bama but with their father's endless mischief. And Wu's mate tells predictions of more children, of both blood and adoption, in the future.

Qi Wu; baker of the best peach buns, and teller of the worst jokes according to his kids. Most insufferable, but impossible to live without according to his mate/husband. Most trusted employee to his boss/father-figure. An untapped well of knowledge to his teacher/other father-figure. Needs to get more sleep and to keep up attending counseling for his ptsd according to his buff fishy best friend.

Qi Wu; recognised by many as someone who is of importance but unable to place whenever he delivers to the village of monkey demons outside of the city. Only very few trusted stalwarts given the knowledge of just who the delivery man is to them all.

Qi Wu; golden red-brown curly fur littered with old scars and burns. Eyes a deep red and gold not uncommon to demonkind, but a rarity to primates. A pink heart-shaped face marking fractured by a long pressure scar that encircles his forehead, hidden from view either his untamable ginger mane or with a headkerchief he uses while in the kitchen.

Qi Wu; somehow knows many infamous demons and celestial-types alike from his mysterious past. Fears dogs, being on stage, and repetitive chanting.

Qi Wu, a man/monkey yao happy to go home and spend time with his family at the end if the day.

Qi Wu; someone Sun Wukong has never felt like before.

Queen of forgotten as Medusa is a very interesting concept, liked she is a mother of not also the demi gods from Posidon but also few other biological children when she was married before and her other adopted children

How would Zero be when she takes him in with her and takes care of him, even telling him not to take her burden as she rather keep them then him take the burden, what more she treats him liked all her other children

Nothing but love and make sure that he survived even if he is a god

-It was surreal, seeing you win Valhalla, you were a fierce warrior, winning your match in a hard-won fight against Athena of all people. And for your victory, you won the right to wish for anything you wanted, and you chose to have all those who had fallen in the tournament brought back to life.

-You were selfless, thinking of others, and watching the reunions, seeing new those who had formed new friendships, and old friends, families, being reunited.

-Seeing their smiles through the tears made your own tears well, it made you think of your own children, your darling babies, those who had lost when you had been transformed, your life snatched away.

-You had more children after your change, like Pegasus, but many of them didn’t make it to Valhalla. There were winged horses in Valhalla, but none of them were Pegasus, the first, your darling child.

-A voice then filled your ears, “It’s you!” you turned and your eyes went wide as a child, Zerofuku was his name, leapt into your arms, his arms around your neck as he hugged you close.

-You… weren’t used to others, especially children, approaching you, especially when you looked how you did- most were hesitant to approach you until they got to know you.

-Buddha walked up behind Zerofuku as the child dropped from your arms, beaming up at you as Buddha grinned, “I wasn’t expecting that from you of all people, Y/N- seeing how you have several reasons to hate the gods, but it’s nice to see people like you have bigger hearts than the gods do.”

-You smiled warmly up at Buddha, thanking him as Zerofuku hugged you around your waist, beaming up at you, “Thank you Y/N! I’m so happy to have another chance at living life properly now!”

-You felt a pull to this child, your eyes meeting his own, your felt a deep primal urge to immediately adopt this ball of sunshine.

-Buddha grinned, seeing this, as he knew what a good mother you would be and Buddha waved over his little buddy who ran over to him and you watched Buddha whisper into his ear before Zerofuku turned to you, a huge smile on his face as he ran over, “Mama!!”

-You instantly had him in your arms, your snakes peppering his face with kisses as you hugged him close, making both him and Buddha laugh warmly as you smiled softly.

-Buddha was someone you considered a friend, you weren’t interested in him romantically, but just as a friend, something he also saw you as, you would share snacks and just hang out with each other and he knew that you had been a mother many times over and he knew that you missed your children greatly.

-Zerofuku needed that in his life, he needed that family bond to keep him not only happy but safe, and you were a perfect fit, as he would get to see Buddha a lot too since you visited your friend so often.

-Zerofuku adored you, you were so gentle and patient with him, hugging him close, cuddling him, and showering him with praise and affection.

-You would never berate him if something bad happened, only teaching him on how to prevent it from happening again, showing him how to fix things, and teaching him that it was good to let others fail so they too could learn.

-While not biologically yours, Zerofuku was your son, and you were fiercely protective of your children, so if anyone, usually one of the other gods, tried anything against your son, they had to deal with a pissed off gorgon while Buddha and Zerofuku sat nearby, eating popcorn together.

-You were so happy that your wish brought happiness to not only others, but to you as well, in the form of Zerofuku.
