So I found some lore tidbits of how Lord Enver Gortash was sold as a child to Raphael, and served as his pageboy, then eventually escaped.
You're telling me that years later, his ex pageboy and his murder bestie manage to steal the Crown of Karsus from Mephistopheles? Like the one thing Raphael has want for himself for centuries?
They just nab it right from under his own archdevil father's nose and put it on a giant brain. Yet in game Raphael never mentions Gortash nor do we see any implication of Raphael going after him.
Personally, I wonder if he just didn't care when Gortash escaped, because he could just pick up another kid somewhere else and by the time Gortash became Bane's chosen, he became untouchable to Raphael.
That, or once the crown was stolen, Raphael did his damnedest to make sure he had no connection to Gortash, least his archdevil father discover that it was HIS OLD PAGEBOY that stole the crown, and Raphael was probably the reason Gortash even knew where it was because Raphael wouldn't stop complaining how Mephistopheles wouldn't even use it.

the sweep of your skirts. the strong arm around your waist. the dark eyes of your companion.
you do not know for how long you have been dancing, and yet you are not tired. trapped forever in this moment of delicious anticipation as your heart soars in time with the music, the two of you gliding across the floor in a perfect waltz. your mind catches on thoughts of what comes next. the long slide of satin as your gloves are pulled free. calloused fingers on your bare flesh. but you have been dancing forever. will that future never come to pass?
"is it not," his lips brush against the shell of your ear, "an exquisite torture?"
a soiree in venice - rogelio de egusquiza barrena c.1885 | waltz no. 2 shostakovich (Шостакович) c.1938
As soon as Banana had entered, the puddles alerted him. Whispering that someone is intruding upon the studio. Expecting it to be another nosy human, he dropped what he was doing && slunk towards the entrance. They get many of those this time of year, much to his annoyance. It's the spooky weather, he reckoned.
But as he turned the corner, he heard a familiar voice. Banana. He perked up upon recognizing who this surprise visitor was. Excitement won over caution, && he quickened his pace. Gosh, he hasn't seen him in a while!
... Okay, maybe he shouldn't have grabbed him. But can you really blame him? He beamed at the other toon, clearly excited to see him. ❝ Howdy! ❞ A part of him is surprised that no fear is coming from Banana. Most would be terrified of this large, imposing form.
Oh. At the question, his smile faltered, && he chittered. Great, he doesn't recognize him. It hurts a little, hearing that he looks nothing like his toon self. He sighed && moved to set him back down on the floor. ❝ ... I know him, yeah. What about him? ❞ Bendy tries to not let his displeasure be shown.
His conversations with Bellatrix were some of the ones he found most difficult. Lucius always felt that she was like a panther, ready to pounce that moment you put a foot wrong. She unnerved him but equally he respected that high position she'd managed to manoeuvre herself to within the Death Eaters. He'd invited her over for information, he didn't see the need to pretend any different with her. No need for small talk or frivolities this time.
Finding out what Harrison's friends knew would be a fairly simple task. One that he was more than qualified to complete. But he wanted to know why it was so important. What was this specific werewolf to the Death Eaters, why was it so important. He knew he might not get any answers but he had to try. She was the daughter of Silas, and could cause them problems but his intuition told him it was more than. "Evening Bellatrix" he greeted her when she arrived "I won't waste too much of your time- no doubt you are busy, but can I offer you a drink before we get started."
