Maybe this wasn’t a good what you hoped to happen on such a day.…A sounds of people’s screams filled your ear as you were locked in a room, you slid down the door finally tired of banging hoping you would be saved from them…You’re face having streaks of wet tears and nose and eyes puffy and red and burning…Just as you were about to give up the sound of wooden breaking off was heard as the door creaked open just a bit. Now with the door open, you were able to hear the blood curdling screams of terror, pain and fear, you opened the door and saw multiple guards dead, you immediately got out and run deeper into the hallways which seemed to continue forever before they lead to multiple rows, maybe one proving you could save yourself..

But sadly, the hallways of pretty designs, which you loved so much since childhood as you were born here which seemed demented now, continued forever and ever and reaching into deeper parts of the palace which was proving to show that you couldn’t escape them…

Just as you stopped you heard the sounds of their feet clicking across the marble floors, the silence made the sounds of your breath loud as you took off deeper into the manor, running at the top of your speed not caring about anything else, those monsters, they took your family and killed them in the main room while keeping you locked up, the reason being their delusional heads thought your family was keeping you away from them…Which was true, but it’s because they often drove people away from you and you felt uncomfortable around them…They did it to protect you and they along with nearly everyone else in the manor you cared about were killed in cold blood by their hands…

You ran and ran, your breathe getting heavier as you heard Derrick and Callisto run behind you as well…Just as soon you saw a window into your view, you opened it as quickly as possible before looking down and seeing a bit of height, you figured you’d survive and if not, you’d reunite with your family, right? Just as you’re about to jump out, you were pulled back harshly by your waist and thrown to the ground, in the process you hit your head as black smoke fills your vision….in the darkness you see two masculine figures, one of them slaps the other on the head harshly before the other lunges at the first and they break apart angrily, before you feel their hand caressing you, their touch felt like millions of insects crawling and biting your skin, but soon you couldn’t see anything as your vision was filled completely by darkness….

The soft caressing and touch felt weirdly sharp to you, as you tried to wake up, your back and neck sore…your eyes shutting tightly and refusing to open up and you feeling chills down your spine telling you to not get up ever again…You tried following those words and feelings, but you couldn’t as your eyes opened up to a vinyl void, clearing up as you squinted to get used to the bright lights of the room, it smelt of moss and water tanks…

You tried rubbing your eyes, but you couldn’t you felt constricted and a burn was on your arms, you looked down to yourself tied up to a big throne-like chair with Derrick and Callisto arguing loudly, but the moment you lolled your head up a bit trying to remove the tiredness and unconsciousness, they stopped in their places and looked at you with eyes which had red hearts for pupils. They immediately started to shove each other and coddled you while trying to outdo the other, with insults thrown at the other; you were being suffocated by their affection and you couldn’t handle how they lunged at each other…

You didn’t even realize how far their fight went until they started to pull out their swords… The splashes of blood, bruises and cuts was something that made you realize that this definitely wasn’t something you wanted in love…

->request by anon! may i request death is the only ending for villains where the reader is penelope younger sister? she has her own powerful magic attribute which the duke sees and keeps for but she will call out on derek, reynold and staff of the dukedom (especially emily) behavior whenever they mistreat penelope or her? I'd imagine she would have beef with all the main leads tbh and plans to run away with penelope to a distant kingdom, far away from them.

->a/n: my first request in ages is finally here! i am really happy to write after spending a time without being able to write a few personal stories. Keep in mind that request still open! good reading! Link to part two

-> the infamous story about Duke Eckhart about adopting a girl from the streets after his biological daughter disappear is know for the public. Regardless of what people tend to hide their opinions, everyone thinks about Penelope as a wild spirit and a terrible lady to her family’s name but what everyone didn’t know was the other girl that the Duke brought in too, [name].

-> the younger girl with similar looks of Penelope brought attention towards the dukedom and neither the girls like it. The oldest find it hilarious how this new family treat her younger sister in a magnificent way, giving her the greatest treatment while Penelope lives in that old shack with no resources. Knowing that everyone inside the dukedom treat her older sister like that, [name] prefer to stay at Penelope’s side in that small shack, ignoring the people’s advice to stay away from her.

-> not to forget the magical abilities the little one possesses, capable of doing immense acts to help those in needs and probably to end wars in any seconds, with such amount of powers in the hands of a younger girl. Knowing how powerful you were since birth and how no one could control you, the emperor made it clear that you would be the only magical person in the empire, after all, everyone know how capable you are of destroying anyone. The Duke was in shock to see his youngest daughter the servants and even her brothers with her abilities, gaining an amount of discipline by helping him with the taxes.

-> he has to admit, your father is worried that your behavior won’t help in the future, he is afraid that you will exclude from the society and keep living at Penelope’s side forever without anyone else. Your two older brother don’t like the idea too.

-> Reynold attempted numerous times to envolve you with activities to set up a high profile at the noble society. Taking you to balls to meet up with children of your age, sharing expensive food and toys that catch interest. But none of this worked, [name] become the chaos in person during many of the balls and scaring the children, stole the food to give it to commoners and homeless people around, the toys? Reynold try to sleep in peace knowing that any of those can fall over his face at any moment.

-> The last one to give it a try is Derrick, the person you threatened to transform into an animal and to bite when younger. The older brother give his shot to make you become a properly lady, being the one to tutor you during many subjects and that means that you can’t skip classes as you used to do. In the end, you learn the entire history, geography, mathematics that Derrick forced you during those days.

-> luckily, you have days off from them and you usually spend it at Penelope’s side, taking her out to eat delicious and unique foods with your sold jewelry, buying her dresses that make her look even more gorgeous! You truly want to help your old sister live the best life at her side, yet such dream look so far away to become reality. Not to mention the abuse she has handled in the last years to help you, you know how the staff would tried if she hadn’t interfere in time.

-> in a random day, the idea of running away from the dukedom with Penelope grown stronger in your mind and without thinking twice, you two pack up few clothes with jewelry and money that you asked the Duke for with the excuse for being for expensive dresses. everything was ready and now you two need to leave the residence without noticing that you are gone.

-> the day you were waiting for never happened. The missing daughter, Ivonne has returned home. At first you thought that would be great that the “real daughter” came back, right? Like, the Duke and the others would let you and Penelope leave this place forever, but that didn’t seem the case.

-> Duke and the two brothers refused to let [name] leave the dukedom, but allowed Penelope, saying that someone with great and magnificent powers should be part of the family. Those words didn’t hurt only Penelope deeply but made her stay, as much she wants to escape from this place, she can’t leave her younger sister behind, so she endure the pain.

-> she does that in every route where Ivonne and the male leads take you away from your beloved sister, saying how you are being manipulated and dragged to a downfall if you stay at Penelope’s side. That’s don’t really matter, you speak to all of them every time, you wants to stay at your sister’s side forever and unfortunately that never happen.

-> with every route ending with Penelope being took away from [name], the poor girl become quiet and lose her sparkle of live. The once loud and chaotic girl is gone, leaving an empty shell of someone that everyone used to know and now they pity the younger Eckhart. It’s mention that in every end that [name] either leaves the dukedom to live somewhere else away from her family, teaching younger children to properly use magic or keep living at the small shack at the property, avoiding everyone til her last breath.

-> the tragic story of the two sisters always manage to make Siyeon emotional. Penelope and [name] were inseparable from the beginning to the end of their lives, something that Siyeon a little bit jealous, the villainess had a sweet sister to support each others in times where the world were against them, could she ever have someone like [name] in her live?

-> unfortunately Siyeon’s dreams become reality when she become Penelope in the hard mode, experience what the original villainess suffered along side [name], the little girl who never left her older sister side no matter the circumstances.

-> as much Penelope is angry and scared of this new life where everyone and everything is against her, constantly trying to destroy her at any moment. She is happy to finally having someone at her side to help her, at any period, to achieve the happiness that she didn’t experience in her past life.

-> She promise to give [name] the life she deserves at her side, knowing that the two of them will get their happiness after suffering for so long far way from the dukedom

you see, whenever you're with her. penelope treats you well and acts like a sweet little sister. that's also the main reason why you trust and adore her so much.

and the day finally arrived. you were really happy that you managed to sneak out of your room without derrick, your father, and reynold noticing. but your happiness changed into despair when you got outside.

there, you saw your father and penelope with a bunch of knights behind them. when you saw them, you felt betrayed. you know the reason why your father and your family knights were there. penelope told them about your plan.

you tried to run away from them but the duke ordered the knights to catch you without hurting you. and then when the knights caught you, the duke locked you up in your room.

you shouted and begged them to let you out. you keep on begging them until your throat hurts. but the duke didn't listen. he already lost ivonne and he doesn't want to lose you too.

they're doing all of this for your sake, so why are you so unhappy about this?

and remember your lover? the person who corrupted you? you don't have to worry about him anymore! since your dependable brothers (derrick and reynold) already killed took care of him!

Derrick eckhart and vinter berdandi being love rivals / romantic, yandere / tw manipulation, hallucinations, isolation, drugging, violence, kidnapping, forced marriage, death, implied reader being forced to have children, victim blaming.

derrick eckhart, the eldest son of the duke and apparent heir to the duchy, and vinter berdandi, a magician and marquis, somewhat of an odd duo to be fighting over someone's love.

the person who'd "win" your love is honestly based on who you interact with more. such as, if you interact with vinter too much, derrick would kidnap you and force you into marrying him.

even though if you interact with derrick a lot, he'll eventually get the wrong idea that you're into him and will still force you into marrying him. a lose-lose situation.

if you want to be happy and content with who you'd be spending time with for the rest of your life, vinter is the best choice, he's not as violent as derrick, but isn't above manipulating you or isolating you from everyone but him.

derrick is a cruel and violent man, he won't stop until he gets what he wants, even if it means beating you into obedience so you wouldn't run away. he isn't above breaking your legs and mind, too.

how would derrick and vinter try to get your attention? well, derrick is wealthy and pretty arrogant, so he'd gift you lavish things. but vinter would use magic to entertain you, having various conversations with you too.

if you want to go with the safest option, choose vinter, he's very against physically harming you, unlike derrick who'd physically hurt you if you as much were one foot away from the house.

if you don't want children, tough luck man. vinter might be more understanding, but derrick is practically inclined to have children to continue the eckhart bloodline.

if you want to have children, but can't due to certain problems, vinter doesn't mind adopting children! i don't know about derrick, though.

vinter's punishments are more mentally and emotionally damaging, he'd hesitantly lock you in an empty room, either drugging you or using magic to make you think you're hallucinating. vinter would gaslight and blame you after it.

derrick's punishments are much more physical and mentally damaging, as you'd either be beaten or starved in a cold, tiny room.

you'll have more freedom with vinter, as he'd only isolate you if you were to break a rule, otherwise you can pretty much walk around with him and the orphan kids on the streets.

but with derrick, you'll always feel isolated, everyone you get close to a bit too much (derrick's words, not mine) will "mysteriously" dissapear. the only human interaction you can get is from derrick or your ladies in waiting.

Oh my goodness I loved the Derrick x Eckart focus you wrote!! Would it be alright if you could write another yandere Derrick sedating Penelope after capturing her and having a wedding and honeymoon together? It can be smut or just a short fanfiction if you like, whatever you feel like it ^^

*screams* Anon, it's taken me a while!!! But I took this up cause I've finally made up my mind to read the manhwa at last, sometime soon!! So, here we go! Just a note but I don't ship these two, eye candy sure but no one can beat the crown prince in terms of looks ya know? CallistoxPenelope for the win!! ^^

"If it would take a lifetime for you to look at me, I would rather take you as my own- forcibly."

Derrick's eyes were filled with the light of the moon, the pale light letting it glow the shade of the sky rather than the depths of a lake.

Penelope thrashed around in his arms, never screaming but her voice grows higher as she spits out, "Enough, you animal! Have you not enough of torturing me at every turn like this?!", her very air was filled with nobility even with the foul words that left her mouth.

She could never pass as anything lesser now, and even though he had hated it at the time, he was so very glad that he had been there to witness her growth into a noble worthy of the Eckhart name.

He pressed his cheek onto her smooth, vibrant hair, the pink he once thought as clashing, now so fitting for his own; his pair, his partner, soon-to-be lover and wife.

His grip tightens on her arm and waist, seeing one of his guards gesture towards him. The ship was about to leave the harbor, and they had to move quickly. It was finally time.

He could finally have Penelope for himself.

Derrick's smile made Penelope falter in her movements, shrinking back against what should have been the sturdy embrace of her fiance, the crown prince. Instead, she was trapped within the revulsive arms of Derrick.

She feels a sharp pinch at her neck, flinching back too late as Derrick aimed for that small crack in her resolve to get away from him, and he caresses her face as her eyes roll back, a low groan of, "This...bastard..should've...let him kill you..."

Gently, he carries her away, the ship leaving not a minute too soon as he wraps the black cloak around her still form.

He winces as he strains to keep up with his guard, and sighs as the door to their quarters opens, and relief paints his forehead, lips turning up as he lowers her down onto the bed.

Making sure to whisk the cloak away, gazing upon her expression deep in slumber, and all too soon, the vision is broken with his blood dripping onto the cabin floor.

He hisses out a curse involuntarily, for nobility used sidling insults that poked at weakness rather than crass vulgarity. Oh, but he loved how she had retaliated against him. Loved that he could be the only one reflected in her eyes, filled her vision.

Who cared if that was hate directed at him when she gave him her full attention?

His teeth grind down as he rids himself of his own cloak and jacket, the moonlight streaming in from the porthole revealing the dozens of small scrapes and bruises, a few larger wounds still healing.

All from his beloved Penelope's attempts to escape and get back to...Derrick's frown was dark as he sat next to her on the bed, a dip forming as he pressed his thumb onto her bottom lip.

That crown prince. He had tried to kill her once, and yet she still decided to be with him? Instead of himself, the one who would become the Duke of the Eckhart family, one who's wealth and prestige wouldn't lose to the vicious crown prince of the Imperial family?

For what? What purpose did that crown prince serve her? Derrick's hands wandered, sliding across the silky material of her dress and feeling her pulse on her wrist.

The warmth of her skin against his made him shiver with anticipation as he leaned down to press his forehead against hers. "Penelope." His whisper goes unanswered, but he wished she were willing.

To call his name with fervor, to laugh with him on vacation, to hold his hand as people looked on with envy that they belonged to each other.

None of that would happen.

Derrick's free hand held onto a small vial that held glistening silver liquid, darkness seemingly swirling like smoke around his hunched shoulders.

Not unless he made her his.

He tips the vial back and the taste of iron fills his mouth like that time Penelope had bitten his tongue. He carefully holds her head up and presses their mouths together.

Ah, finally.

A gleam in her throat as it passed, and he wiped stray droplets from her chin, heart fluttering in his chest as he pushed away all the hurt she had caused him.

He slides the ring onto her finger, sending the marriage forms over the sea by magic, his smile only growing in contentment as he imagines what that bastard crown prince would look at seeing it on his desk.

The waves of the sea crashed loudly outside, and all was calm, and perfect at last.

She would finally be- her eyes open, misty and dazed- his, forever. Her arms reach out for him and he lets them hook around his neck to pull him in for a kiss that never seemed to end.

They would never be apart, not in life nor in death. He smiles against her as he hears her whisper, "Derrick.." to which he replies, "Penelope."

He had made it that way.

-At first, Duke Eckhart only saw you as an acquaintance and a friendly rival

-Of course, it was different with his children, Derrick, Reynold and Ivonne

-They all as a group first met you at the second prince's birthday, with you leaning on a pillar behind you, watching how other's interact

-Although Derrick admired your achievements and wanted to become actual friends with you because of your past help, he didn't do anything to approach you, but Reynold and Ivonne were different and proudly went up to you and introduced themselves

-Safe to say, you gained two emotionally attached children when you befriended them, inviting them to a tea party you're before going to host a month later

-Of course, when the day the tea party was starting, Ivonne and Reynold brought Derrick and the duke, a notice being sent to you the day before the tea party would start

-When they arrived, Ivonne and Reynold ran up and hugged you, thanking you for inviting them while you dismissed the unexpected hugs, patting their heads while welcoming them, soon after Derrick and the duke ran up to the three of you, with the duke scolding his youngest children and apologised, but you simply dismissed his apology, saying you didn't mind them doing this, as they're now your friends

-That's the first spark the duke's feelings for you started

-It started as a small spark of admiration for you, but it soon grew into a small flame, still dismissing it as bigger admiration for you, yeah, he was stubborn in not realising he had feelings for you..

-Thankfully, the children caught on with the moments where he woud quietly stare at you and your interactions with his kids, the way he would quickly look away when you noticed him staring and down to the way he would take your suggestions to heart

-Safe to say, the duke unkowingly gained three wingmen for him to get with you. Well, of course they weren't over their late mother's death(yet), but you easily and rather quickly took up the role of a parental figure to them, giving them advice whenever they came for it, to even helping them with their homework and any problems they had!

-Derrick was the first person to go yandere in general for you, as you comforted him crying outside the manor a week after his mother died, offering him some things to do so he could get his mind off of his mother's death

-Ivonne was the second person to go yandere, as she always watched you in whatever you were doing, every action of yours was powerful, yet elegant like a thorny rose, like a beautiful flower in a sea of plainness people, so close, yet so far, worshipping an idolised version of you in her head

-Reynold was the last (biological) child to go yandere, only turning because of Ivonne singing praises about you and finally seeing it for himself

-Og!Penelope was really thankful for having a person like you around her at all times in such a cold and negative household, even more for teaching her reading and writing! She's always acting like a mad dog so she could be comforted by you, as well!

-Every time a staff member is caught abusing Penelope, you'd lock them in a dungeon in your dukedom, preferring mentally torturing and breaking them instead of getting your hands dirty in filth like that. You always either make sure they shut their mouth and swear allegiance to you and Penelope, or just emotionally and mentally break them to nothing but a loyal servant to you and your adoptive daughter! :)

-You were Siyeon Cha's favorite character in the game, as you always were kind to both Penelope and Ivonne, Ivonne's bad endings associating with you would be you dying protecting either Ivonne or Penelope. You always protected and supported Penelope in the past according to the wiki of the game in both hard and normal mode

-Derrick and Reynold were both jealous and angry, why are you spending so much time with the mad dog? Did you just forget them entirely? This isn't fair!

-That was one of the reason's Reynold lied and plotted about Penelope stealing Ivonne's bracelet, of course, like an overbearing mother, you desperately denied the claims of Penelope doing that, going as far as arguing with both Reynold AND the duke for the first time, shocking everyone except Penelope

-At the end of the argument, you took Penelope and ordered the servants to pack both of your bags and get a carriage to drive back to your dukedom, comforting a crying Penelope

-When the two of you went to your chateau, you prepared to send a letter about temporarily stopping to court each other until the problem is resolved, and the duke begrudgingly complied, as you were the person with more power than him at the moment

-And now like a divorced couple, for Penelope it's mandatory to see the Eckhart family for a few days before returning back home to you

-In short, duke Eckhart is a rather possesive yet somewhat submissive(literally cried writing that) yandere who loves spoiling his darling, Derrick is a worshipper, possessive and obsessive yandere, Ivonne is obsessive and worshippy, Reynold is obsessive, possessive and worshippy, Penelope is manipulative, obsessive and possessive

and y/n doesn't even care what is happening behind her, while she dancing to her heart's content cause she is just so oblivious to the fact that so many people love them and want her to themselves

So while you're dancing, the door opens to reveal the empress, the second prince, the duke, Derrick and Reynold looking shock at the scene between the crown prince and the young lady as they fight about the crown prince looking at the young beauty like a creep.

the second prince and Derrick ran and tried to pull them away from each other as the empress ran to cover you eyes and guided you away from the rabid members of the families, so you don't harm yourself in anyway.

While the Duke is asking Penelope and Callisto why they started this and when they reveal why they did it, they both got probation by their guardians. (the duke is honestly proud of Penelope starting the fight with they crown prince)

Well yeah, people and media love y/n very much and she doesn't attend met gala and like SHE SLAYS EVERY TIME! Even if she is not wearing anything even mildly similar to the theme, people are going to somehow make it similar to the theme.

he moment the Eckhart family enters people are taking phtos and there deafening screams everywhere, then the Eckhart family members are told to take photos like sister-sister photos with Penelope and Yvonne, Father-daughter pics with the duke and brother-sister pics with Derrick and Reynold, etc.

And the moment the Regulus family enters people start shooing Callisto towards you and ask you both when is the wedding date, but he duke and the empress handles this pretty well. Both the families actually keep everyone away from you, so to give anyone more then 20 seconds to talk is very hard for her. None of them like to keep you out for too long and get you out before the after party, cause once you got so drunk, you actually kissed Cardi-B and Nicki Minaj and you ended up with both of their numbers on somewhere on your back and neck, yeah somehow........

Yeah once you actually wore your venom sleeping onesie, everyone definitely awwed when you and Callisto both wore similar onesie and Anna Wintour changed the theme from "heavenly bodies" to "warm sleepover" on the spot. Penelope always wear something matching with you, but she just looks so gorgeous and almost everyone person oogles at her, right behind you of course.

Derrick and the duke wears amazing suits all tailor-made with fur and has actually diamonds on them. Reynold actually comes on theme every year, believe it or not, he does. He is always wearing something stylish, cause I headcanon him as a model in the modern world and he also slays it every time.

And if you are not able to join sometime, like once when you broke your leg upon jumping from the top floor window cause you saw a feather at night and thought it was cockroach in the dark, they actually changed the dates to accommodate it to you. The empress and the second prince also wear gorgeous clothes, tailor made and custom for only them.

Met Gala is one of the time where her family sees y/n be diligent for once cause she cares about herself in front of media.
