i honestly love fics that explore Macky’s death and how he’s technically not supposed to be here. like in s3, they say that his whole reason for being back is because of a deal he makes with LBD (but that just implies that what was happening to him in the Diyu wasn’t fun. like he was a restless spirit or still being punished 👀👀👀 because why else would a dead spirit agree for revenge centuries/millennia later) also side note: y’all gotta read @cloud-somersault’s fic The Constellations Within Us bc it does a really good job handling the questions behind Macky’s death and resurrection (tho the epilogue focuses on Macky more bc it’s in his POV but the epilogue won’t make any sense without reading the first one)
