11. How many OCs do you have? Introduce them
OOF, I have 44 if I haven’t forgotten anyone lmaooo but here goes (introducing them in no particular order)
1. Booty = my first oc ever made. She came to life in 2015 when I was showing my friends the butt of an anime girl as a joke. It was all fun and jokes but for some reason despite me joking around she became the most serious and strickt oc. She’s pretty much the mom friend
2. Up = my second oc ever made. She’s really carefree and loud. I made her in class when I listened to the song “Up” by olly murs and demi lovato. She’s the complete opposite of booty and she gets stressed out by up the most out of all 44 oc's
3. Delta = my third oc ever made. He died as a normal dude and then got turned into an android. He’s really quiet and usually in a bad mood. Would kill people a lot more if it weren’t so bothersome
4. Vision = He’s blind. That’s right, i’m a cruel mother who names her blind child Vision. Anyway, he’s a really kind dude who gets along with a bunch of people. The cool uncle in the group
5. Mokka = A half cat half human boyo. In the story people who’re pure animals have both animal ears and tails while mokka only has a tail. Had cat headphones in his old design because he hated his human part thanks to his mom who neglected and hated him for not being a pure breed (she cheated on her husb. And he left her because of her cheating so she now gives mokka the fault for that), but in his newer design he grew older and accepted his human part. Grumpy guy who flirts a lot but who’s really bad at it. Also he’s real good with computers. oh AND he’s a Prince
6. Tiptoes = alright, don’t judge me for the weird names, I made her when I listened to the song “Tiptoes” by Jayme dee. She was originally a dancer, but in her new design I made a cheerleader out of her. Still, she loves all kinds of dances and she’s really fit. She’s quite cheeky and will nag on grumpy people like mokka
7. Neta = ah yes, the oc who I probably draw the most. She’s a dog who’s really into fashion lmao. She’s really quiet and collected and really popular with the guys, but at some point I made up the fact that she’s a meme dealer and I decided that I have to keep that personality trait at all costs
8. Enno = Netas twin brother, but they’re the complete opposite. Enno doesn’t care if he gets dirty or not and he will definitely fight anyone who just looks at him weird. Tough guy, but a complete dumbass who probably can’t even count to 10. Very clingy though if he likes someone
9. Latty = Neta’s and Enno’s wolf cousin. She’s really loud and really stupid. Wants to be like neta. Gets bullied a lot because out of all the wolfes in her pack she’s the only one who has a white streak in her black hair. But she’s quite the optimist and is practically amazed by everything she encounters
10. Live = The goddess of Life. She’s really calm and gentle. She can revive dead beings, heal beings and it’s said that she’s the reason babies of both animals and humans are born. Really friendly, laughs a lot
11. Chi = Live’s evil cousin. Her parents were salty that they didn’t become gods as well and that they were left off with the Knight job where they have to protect the gods and gave their hatred onto their daughter. Chi basically murdered a bunch of gods and wanted to kill her cousin as well but the other gods stopped her and locked her away. Will act like a trust worthy person to get what she wants. Mind games are her thing
12. Mocchi = A bubbly normal girl who just sees the best in everyone. Real optimist, can befriend everyone. Is there for you if you’re having a hard day
13. Zadora = I was really inspired by a horse I knew lmao. Small shy girl who’s scared of a lot of things, especially strangers and big crowds. Kinda awkward but makes a good friend who’s always happy to spend some time with you. Loves her friends and family a lot
14. Lium = Quiet demon dude who is really awkward. He could put people on fire with his supernatural abilities, but chooses to be nice since he just wants some friends. Gets terrorized by his look alike twin a lot, but he got used to it
15. Laru = Lium’s evil twin. Will melt the ice cream of a little girl just for the laughs. Picks on his brother a whole lot but if someone else picks on Lium then Laru will snap their neck in half. Basically wants his brother to become evil and do bad things but he’s not quite succeeding. Good friends with Chi
16. Frei = A fox spirit lady who actually lived in a shrine but then decided to travel. Real carefree and somewhat of a hippy. Really chill person, great to hang out with
17. G = another android who got build for the military but then got replaced by newer models (I made him before dbh was a thing). Is a killer machine on the battlefield but will pick a rose and just give it to the nearest person when not on the battlefield. Really protective, he basically has it programmed into his brain to fight the enemy and to protect the innocent. Would be an A+ dad
18. Majo = A small witch girl who’s pretty much an asshole. Will scream if she won’t get what she wants and will laugh at you if you’re dumb enough to give it to her. Fucks with people, not in a horrible cruel way but putting a dollar on the ground and then pulling it away whenever someone tries to pick it up is basically her go to thing
19. Shepper = A Sheep boy who’s the biggest pushover, only because he’s so awkward and kind. Will listen to your worries but it’s easy to make him get and do stuff for you only because he can’t say No. Will cuddle you and sing you a lullaby if you’re having trouble sleeping. Gets pushed around by Majo 24/7 but he sees it more as baby sitting since Majo is younger than him
20. Twen = my 20th oc! Get it? Twenty? Hhhhhhhhh,,,,, anyways, he’s a boy with a lot of energy and a passion for football/soccer. Like, he REALLY loves that sport, he will fight anyone who says that It’s bad. Basically your typical white boy. Still a nice dude, he’s a good sport
21. Rhett = tall dragon boyo. Really shy but also really gentle. Works as a servant and enjoys it. Will breathe fire if he’s getting really flustered. Scared that he will hurt someone with his tail or just with his big size in general. “You want to shake my hand? Let me bow instead since I don’t want to hurt you"
22. Morgen = a girl who I’ll have to redesign soon because OOF. I made her after listening to "Morgen Stern” by Rammstein. Basically, she’s really ugly and wishes to the stars that she becomes beautiful like all the other girls. Has her face covered up by bandages which I’ll probably change into a mask lmao. Really sad girl, scared to look people into their eyes. She also gets bullied a lot, and she cuts herself. Morgen hates herself and wishes she would be someone else
23. Rema = there are a few similarities between him and Morgen. Rema’s whole body is covered in scars thanks to his mom who hurt him a lot when he was little. She pretty much destroyed his whole face and then called him ugly. After being called ugly for a bunch of years he grew up to believe that he’s ugly. He came into an orphanage after his mom left him on the streets in the middle of nowhere, so in the orphanage he found a mask which he wears since then. Calls himself ugly and believes that other people think that he’s ugly as well but pretty much no one really cares. Real scared to take off his mask. He’s kinda awkward but makes a good buddy. Will tell you that you’re beautiful 24/7
24. Kairi = a now zombie girl. She worked in a circus but got killed there by some of her co workers, killed everyone in the circus and basically took over the role as the circus director. Now the circus is closed but the few stupid people who visit the long abandoned circus die there by the ghosts of the people who Kairi killed. She’s Chaotic evil, has a lot of fun when killing. Also mourns over her life when she was still alive
25. Cchia = ayyy, remember Mokka? This is his half sister. The beloved daughter who can do everything better. Mokka can’t really stand her that much even though Cchia is super supportive and nice towards him. She always got all the praise by their mom because she’s a full cat and was made by both the king and the queen and not by the queen and some normal human dude who the queen had a nice night with, so mokka kinda dislikes her, but she was the only one who stood up for him when he needed it, so he also feels kinda bad for disliking her. She was the one who gave him his cat headphones to make him feel more part of the family. She’s basically amazing at everything but she knows jack shit about technology
26. Melior = Pretty much Aph Poland but as a bunny.
27. Kureiji = He’s a lot like Up but with a shot temper. One second he laughs and the next second he will destroy a whole house if something happened that made him angry. He’s one of the older oc’s but he’s basically a child. Also, really strong like oof, where does he get all his strength from when he’s just a mortal dude
28. Joycake = I was listening to a song and it sounded like the girl who was singing said “joycake” and I went “wow, that’s a nice name!!!” So yeah. A really energetic and popular girl. Does dumb jokes and is kinda paranoid. Is a model actually. Does not know what personal space is until she needs it herself. Will fight people for 2 cents, also gets breakdowns quite easily
29. Mirai = Joy’s twin sister (so many twins in this family). Again the complete opposite of her sister as with every twin what I literally just now noticed. Really serious and doesn’t understand a lot of fun. Hates her sister, like, if someone would throw a rock at joy then mirai would probably just keep walking. A hipster, listens to jazz on a rainy day while sitting on her laptop at starbucks. Wears oversized jackets and has messy braided hair like literally always
30. Blini = ANOTHER android. She’s like 10 cm tall. Has to get charged with her tail like charger which comes out of her back/butt. Turns red if empty, yellow if half full and green if completely full. Gets angry at everyone, except for little kids. Has to get carried 24/7. Will put a virus on your computer if she hates you
31. Destiny = the goddess of,,, Destiny. She decides what happens to people and how things turn out. Has a deep history with live. She’s really quiet and can be really serious if she has to be, but deep down she’s just a awkward lady who doesn’t know how to make friends. Takes her job real seriously

35. Bennett = another fox spirit. He doesn’t work at a shrine like Frei does, but works for a specific royal family. Basically, the queen was about to get hanged so she ran into the woods with her baby because she knew that a spirit lived there and asked him to take care of her child. He’s pretty much a nanny now. A real gentle man who respects nature and every creature on it. Bad at fighting but good at hiding. Great with kids
36. Temmie = A ghost lady who died as a kid but still aged as a ghost??? Idk what I was thinking there. She lived in a house with her parents who were alcoholics and who beat her more than once a day. She chose to not speak anymore since whenever she opened her mouth her parents already told her to shut up. At some point she tried to run away from home but got hit by a truck and died. Now she’s a friendly ghost who’s just kinda hanging around
37: Totengräber = Their name basically means “dead digger”, which is a grave digger. They are some kind of supernatural being who usually lives on graveyards. They dig out the coffins in order to take the souls out of the deceased bodies and to feast on them which gives them their supernatural powers. They’re quite the trickster but all in all very friendly and usually they befriend the local grave keeper. Can become both genders or neither if they wish so. They can also turn into a beast
38: Błysk = a old ass dragon man, who acts like a snob and a ladies man. Has tattoos all over his body and is not scared to show em off by walking around completely naked. A real dumbass who doesn’t know much. A “collector” dragon, if he sees something pretty then he will keep it. He’s not awkward or shy but he’s been living alone for so long that he kinda forgot how to have a proper conversation with other people
39. Damien = A dude who kills all of his girlfriend’s. He falls in love, after a while he gets the feeling that she doesn’t love him anymore and kills her. Usually he scrapes off the meat from the bones and eats it but sometimes he also just buries the corpses in the woods to which he lives close to. He’s been searching for his one true love since forever and once he finds her he is not going to ever let her go again. Will probably tie her down in his basement. Real horny. Really good at making friends and great at acting like he’s just a normal dude but pretty much has two sides which got used to working with each other. Cannot be trusted, he’s real good at lying and making things up to his favour
40. Ghost man who I don’t have a name for yet = he lives in the snowy mountains together with a bunch of little creatures which contain the souls of little kids who ended up dying on that mountain. Real dad, loves all his children. Really chill and sleepy 24/7 but he doesn’t sleep since he’s already dead. Means no harm, he’s just there to take care of the little one's
41. Zombie girl #2 who I don’t have a name for yet = Do you know the movie “Warm bodies”? I didn’t take inspiration from that movie, but it’s pretty much this girl who’s the only zombie who can even remotely think and act like a normal person. She was on a trip with her camping school club since she loves nature and all, so when they arrived she decided it was the perfect time to hang herself since she had bad depression and tried to kill herself a few times before. But while she was on her way to find a good hanging spot the other campers got eaten by a few of the first zombies. She hang herself and died but like two minutes later she opened her eyes and just went “Why does god hate me”, since the zombies ate a part of her and so “revived” her lmao. She’s smiling 24/7 even while she’s trying to find a new way of killing herself. Numb inside but still friendly. Has no intention of eating people
42. Yvette = a ghost boy who’s soul wandered off onto an island where it then possessed the life size puppet which was made by “the doctor”. Originally the doctor was hoping that a female soul enters the body since he wanted to have sex with it but once he noticed that a child soul entered the body he threw it out. Yvette sees the doctor as his dad now. He’s a friendly little fella who cannot remember his past, so now he lives on an island with either crazy or dead people. Seeing a half dead person who got sewed onto the body of a cow is something completely normal for him. Thinks that if humans loose all of their limbs that they’re not going to die since everyone on the island is already not a living human being anymore. Sees the right hand (who’s called Espen) of the doctor as his brother. Gets pushed around by Espen a lot. He’s a child,he just needs some love
43. Voks = one of Yvettes friends. She’s made out of bones, rotten flesh and wax. “The professor” who also lives on that island made her. She’s really supportive, curious and happy, but she has to keep the power of her soul quite high so that the wax that is all around her body stays soft and flexible. If it gets too hot then all the wax will melt off, only leaving the rotten corpse from some kid behind. If it gets too cold then she won’t be able to move. Could kill a bunch of people on one spot
44. Rakel = a deer slasher lady who lives in the norwegian woods. She leaves the woods only to get some sheep which she will take with her and devour. She’s real scared of adults, so if one goes into her forest then she will feel threatened and impale them with her pointy legs and also eat them afterwards. If a human child goes into the forest then she will either take it back to the border of the woods or take it with her to her barn where she will try to take care of the child herself which sadly usually ends up in the child’s death. Rakel always tries her best to keep them alive, but sometimes a little baby just can’t live off of a sheep cadaver. If someone goes deep into the forest then they will never find out again. Even if they put out a trail of some sort, it will just circle them right back to the middle of the forest. Rakel is the only one who knows how to leave the forest without getting lost. She really just wants to be left alone

A/N: This will run chronologically with Engraved, but it’s not needed to read this to understand Engraved, but the parts posted for Engraved after this will contain spoilers. It is also not necessary to read Engraved to understand what is happening here. But it will make things more clear.
Miyong pov
She looked at Jonging, who was curled up on her lounge chair with her run down copy of Twilight in his lap. “You look really engrossed in that.”
“Shh.” He mumbled, flipping the page, it made her snicker lightly as she stirred through the sauce in the pan. He’d been here with her for about a week now, she’d gotten so used to it. His presences, his groggy voice in the morning, his soft laughter in the afternoon, and hushed whispers in the night. Jongin was such a calm person, and living with him like this was easy. He helped her out around the house, cuddled with her on the couch, or sat in the chair quietly reading a book.
He wasn’t really okay though, she could see that he wasn’t his happy usual self. Something was still bothering him, but she didn’t want to press on. She didn’t want to spook him again. After that night she’d been really hesitant with him, making sure that if they kissed it wasn’t any shape or form on heavy make out session again. And he didn’t seem to mind. She trusted him that if he wanted to move further he’d show the signs.
She was focused on measuring off some things when warm arms snaked around her waist and pulled her close. A nose fingering her neck and nuzzling close, swaying her from side to side. He hummed softly against her skin, to the sound of the music that was playing in the background. “Edward is a dick.”
“Wait till you read book 2, it gets worse.”
“I like Emmett.”
She chuckled, putting her hands on his. “He’s a good character yeah, I like Jasper too.”
“Emmett kind of reminds me of Chanyeol, but bigger.”
Miyong had sat with him yesterday, and he’d shown her pictures of everyone, told her their names and what they were like. He seemed to be closest to Kyungsoo’s, Angel’s current boyfriend. She’d seen him there when he came to pick him up, she also saw Jongdae, who from photo’s seemed closer to Angel than Kyungsoo. He seemed to have a habit of taking pictures of people a lot. Like a lot a lot.
The food was finished quickly and he’d stuck to her side the whole time. It was a tad annoying but also really cute, she didn’t actually want to push him away. He was always warm, always,, in the bed she found herself close to him most of the time. She couldn’t have wished a better cuddle buddy, warm and soft, and kind of clingy.
They went to work together, she drove. They waited for each other’s shifts to end, but mostly they ended around the same time. She helped him study ethics of law, and he helped her with criminal law. It worked out well. Everything with them. Except that night.
She had now also noticed the limp in his step. He didn’t wear shoes inside the house, and it was very faint, but he always leant more to one side when he walked. “Is your leg hurting?”
He looked up from his food. “Oh, no. Why?”
“You’re walking is a bit, off?”
He swallowed his bite. “Because of the breaks, my one bone ended up a tiny bit shorter, when I wear shoes I use insoles.”
She nodded, that made sense. “So it doesn’t hurt?”
“Not much no, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. But it’s the kind of pain you get used to. It kinda aches a bit, it’s fine.”
Miyong wondered if he had scars on his legs, or anywhere on his body from the accident. She wondered what happened, how it happened, how he got back on track. He told her that he’d lost his place in the dancing school, but the rest. Didn’t he have any friends left after being there for so many years?
“What are you thinking about?” He asked her, tapping her plate with his fork.
“Oh, nothing important.”
“You’ve been frowning like that a lot lately. Cheer up.” He smiled sweetly, and she smiled back, watching him as he got up and took the plates to do the dishes. “Nah.” He said when she got up, pointing a wet spoon at her. “I’ll do it, you stay put.”
She laughed, and watched him comfortably move around the kitchen and do the dishes. He was always swaying to the music, and before he came around she never had music on all day. The dancer in him was always there, swimming beneath the surface. She wished she could’ve seen him somehow, dance like he used to. He was passionate, she’d learnt at work, and she was sure it’d show in his dancing as well.
He stopped humming and she looked at what he was doing. Jongin stood still, wearing jeans and a wooly sweater that hung loosely on his frame. He put down the towel on the counter and grabbed something from under the large agenda she’d left there. “You know, I can’t look at sticky notes normally anymore.”
She frowned as he turned around and held up the light yellow square of notes. There was an old scrap of shopping list on there, and a phone number. What was he on about? He continued before she could ask more.
“She left me one, that morning.”
“Oh.” Miyong breathed out, not sure of what to say.
“She told you about it right?”
She nodded, seeing his eyes change as he looked more closely at the object in his hand. It seemed so fickle, but to him it didn’t. It brought on bad memories and feelings he wanted to forget. She thought that part of him was still attached, to Angel. And she couldn’t blame him for it.
Jongin ran a hand through his messy hair, uncombed still from his shower earlier today. “I…” he started, sighing deeply and closing his eyes. “It’s all my own fault you know.”
“What?” The whole thing with Angel, that couldn’t he his own fault unless she had the fucking audacity to lie about it. “Jongin you it-“
“No, Miyong.” He rubbed his eyes. “I’m not talking about Angel. I mean ending up here.”
She remember Angel mentioning he came from a difficult situation, she’d been awfully vague about it at the coffee corner. “Do you want to talk about it?” she hesitantly asked, not wanting to push him.
He opened his eyes, looking at her like a lost young boy. “I think so.”
Miyong stood up, walking around the couch and over to where he stood in the middle of the kitchen. She took his hands in hers and stood up on her tippy toes to press a kiss to his lips. “You don’t have to. But you know you can tell me anything right?”
Jongin looked at her with pain in his eyes, his hands slightly trembling in hers. It has to have been bothering him, all this time. Whatever it was she knew she wouldn’t walk away anymore. She loved him and she’d committed to him, even though she hadn’t said it like that out loud again. She loved him. “Let’s go to my bedroom.” She said, pulling him along after her.
They sat down on the bed, crosslegged with the blanket in their laps. He put a pillow in his arms, holding it close and leaning his chin on it. For a second she thought he was going to cry right then and there. But he started talking slowly. “My parents, they didn’t have a lot of money. And when I told them I wanted to become a dancer they thought I was crazy, but I was young, and they allowed me to go to classes. When I was 13 I was scouted, they didn’t allow me to go. Then a year later I got scouted again, for a bigger school, Lee-Young’s, they offered me a full scholarship. Now, they wouldn’t however pay my expenses, like the travel it cost me to get there or the housing. But the official was adamant I could make it big and I begged my parents to let me go. They put all their money in me, letting me go to this dancing school. I had the time of my life, all I did was dance all day. Making friends was hard though, it’s a tough competition. I had one friend, his name was Taemin, he was in the same classes as me.” Jongin swallowed, breathing slowly. “We got along really well and practices together outside of schedules. Now, when I turned 18, he was already past the age, and he wanted to take me out. They tell us we shouldn’t, we should take care of our bodies and stuff. But it was just one night, and I was turning 18, so I thought why the hell not right?”
Miyong nodded. “You deserve something nice every now and then.”
“It was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made.” He smiled sadly. “We got drunk of our ass, till way past midnight, I think the sun must’ve almost been rising when…” He stopped and she saw his gaze change, from reminiscing to remembering. “I got in the car. “
She almost gasped, the accident, had he been drunk driving? No right? He wouldn’t? “Jongin?”
“You don’t have to tell me it was stupid, I’m gravely aware. Taemin said, let’s call a cab, and I was like oh no it’s only 5 minutes drive I’ll make it. And somehow we ended up in the car, next thing I know I wake up in the hospital.” He shakes his head. “We’d hit a tree along the way, I’d gotten trapped under the steering wheel. Broken both legs, one in 4 places. My ribs were cracked and I had a huge gash on my head from where I’d hit the side window. I think I woke up only after 5 days.” He stopped talking, playing with the corner of the pillow.
“What about Taemin?” She whispered, thinking the worst.
Jongin looked at her and shook his head. “It’s not what you think. He’s okay, or at least, I think. I haven’t spoken to him since. The doctor’s told me he’d gotten off well, with a few scratches and a broken wrist. He’d be perfectly fine. But me, they weren’t sure if I would ever walk again. They’d tried to set my leg but with the open breaks nerve damage could’ve been grave. I’m here today though, walking, I’m good. But Taemin.” Jongin let a tear slip then, closing his eyes as he spoke. “I couldn’t face him again after that, I told them I didn’t want to see him. I called my family, told them what had happened, I cried on the phone. They didn’t have the money to come get me. They were so disappointed in me, I have never felt so much hatred towards myself as I did then. !0 days later when I was discharged, in a wheelchair with nobody to get me there, I came home to a letter from the academy. I had lost my placement due to my reckless activities and injuries. The hospital must’ve phoned them about it when my parents didn’t respond. I’m not sure.”
She looked at him, as he stared right past her to the headboard. Miyong wanted to reach out to him, but the way he almost curled up on himself made her decide to just stay in her place for a bit. She let him continue at his own pace.
“I couldn’t do much with that cast, I was holed up in my apartment for a long time. Living off scraps of food before I found the courage to call my parents and tell them about it. My mom screamed at me, about that I’d ruined everything, all the money they’d lost on me. She told me I couldn’t come back until I had a way to repay them. I never spoke to her after that.” He reached out for her hand on his own, taking it in his and playing with her fingers gently. “Everything went worse from there. I was emotionally unstable, couldn’t find a job, lost my apparment, ended up on the streets. I lived on the streets for over a year.”
Miyong parted her lips, unsure of how to react. He’d actually been homeless, for that long? Was she not understanding or?
“I lived on the roof of an abandoned apartment building, sat by the road begging people for change during the day. I had one set of clothes, a blanket and a bag. Some days I’d eat, some days I wouldn’t, I’d fiddle my way inside a public bathroom to drink water from the tap. I know it’s not healthy, and my stomach was upset at first, but you get used to it.” His eyes were darker now, instead of scared. “I learnt how to steal from another guy I met there, he thought me how to pickpocket. I was skinny, I knew, and I was aware I wouldn’t make it through the winter like that. My fate was settled, I was sick, and one severe case of pneumonia could’ve been the death of me. So I went in for a risk and looked for the most expensive person on the street and took his wallet from him. It was surprisingly easy. I found 300 bucks inside and I could’ve spent it all, but I decided it might’ve been better to keep it. I went to the store and got instant noodles and a large bottle of water. Angel found me later that night.” He looked down at their hands, Miyong watched his fingers move along hers. His skin was soft, sun-kissed and beautiful. The way it stretched over his cheeks and the sharp cut of his jawline.
When he finally looked up at her again he broke out into tears. She was there, moving over and pulling him close. She let him cry into his shoulder, tears sipping below the collar of her shirt and wetting her skin. He trembled in her arms, and she ran her fingers through his hair. She held him like that, for a long time, until they found themselves cuddles under the covers. With his head on her chest and arms around her waist. She wasn’t going to let him go until he was okay again. Until he believed she was okay with everything.
But somehow the words wouldn’t leave her mouth. The I love you that laid on her tongue, the I wont leave between her lips. She sighed, and kissed the top of his head.
“Miyong?” he whispered in a weak little voice.
She hummed in return.
“Will you stay?”
Then, it was easy. “I will.”
“Always?”
“Always.”
“No matter what happens?”
“No matter what Jongin.”
“Not even if I mess up again?”
“Not even then.”
“I love you.” He breathed it against her skin, and it heated her up from inside. Goosebumps rose on her skin, she pulled him closer without noticing. His hands slipped under the fabric of her shirt, resting on her lower back, pressing into her skin. She saw the little piercing by his collarbone, just under the collar of his sweater.
“I love you too Jongin.” She stated, louder than he had. He stilled for a bit, fingers digging into her skin, like she’d startled him. Jongin shifted a bit, and reached up to press his soft lips against her cheek, staying close like that. “You tired?”
He nodded, breathing out over her skin and kissing her again. She chuckled lightly, lacing their fingers together on her stomach and reaching to the side to turn off the lights.
“Let’s sleep.”
Suddenly Jongin turned in his arms to look up at the ceiling. “There’s one thing I miss, from when I was homeless.”
Her eyebrows furrowed together. “What do you mean?”
“I used to sleep under the stars, I miss seeing them when it’s late at night.”
That was the cutest answer he could’ve given her, but it still pained her. Maybe she’d find a way to fix that. But she was growing tired and would think of it in the morning.
They slowly dozed off in each other’s arms if it wasn’t for the doorbell suddenly ringing.
Jongin groaned, sitting up, looking at the closed curtains by the window. “Were you expecting someone this late?”
Miyong shook her head, wondering who would ring the doorbell this time of night. “Maybe it’s the neighbours.”
Jongin found his phone on the nightstand, opening it. She saw, he has 15 missed calls, what the hell? “Listen.” He suddenly squared up, his jaw hardened. “Stay here okay?” he got up out of the bed and reached into his bag. He pulled out something black, that clicked awfully familiar. Like a gun. Was he holding a gun?
“Jongin?” She hissed in the dark. “What are you doing?”
“Miyong, please stay here.”
She was suddenly shaking with fear, and when he opened the door to her room slowly, she reached for his phone. 3 missed calls form Xiumin, 7 from Baekhyun, and 4 from Suho. Did something happen back home? Miyong was too afraid then to get out of the bed and watch what was going on. He had a gun, in her house, loaded. What if he shot someone? Should she call 911?
Then he sighed loudly, almost relieved. “Jongin?!” she called.
“It’s okay,” he said, opening the door, and someone stepped in. She got out of the bed to see who it was. The man was clad in suit pants and a light blue button up, unbuttoned, his silver hair dishevelled. She recognised him faintly as Suho. “What’s wrong?” Jongin asked.
Suho ran a hand through his hair, eyes falling on Miyong. “Who’s this?”
Jongin looked at her. “Uhmm…”
“I’m his girlfriend.” She said calmly.
He closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Of course you are. Listen, pack a bag, anything essential. We need to get you back home.”
Jongin’s eyes grew wide. “Did something happen?”
Miyong looked between them nervously.
“Angel, someone got to her.”
“What? Is she okay?” Worry laced Jongin’s voice instantly, and Miyong saw the gun still sticking out from the waistband of his jeans.
Suho nodded. “She’s okay but…Jongdae, he got shot.”

01: Do you have a good relationship with your parents?
Not at all, unfortunately.. I always wanted a healthy relationship with them. Things haven’t worked out but I’m ok about it now
02: Who did you last say “I love you” to?
My best friends… Rosie and Rosie ahha. One is my cat and the other is a human being haha!!
03: Do you regret anything?
I have a lot of regrets, I think regret is one of the worst feelings but.. I guess I wouldn’t be exactly what I am now without those choices I made back then- good and bad.
04: Are you insecure?
I have my days if I’m honest.. but I’d say I love my mind and I love my personality and there are times I question my physical beauty but that’s nothing to do with me, that’s what society tries to push as beautiful. As a whole I love myself and you should love yourself too and give yourself what you deserve..

You came in my life just when I needed you and honestly it wasn’t a coincidence how I got you. Day in the Life (Almost 2.9 Years Old)
Good morning!
So, I missed our Day in the Life post for last month (oops, again), so I figured I would write next month’s post a little early with another mid-month post to make up for it. I also wanted to make sure that I got in this month’s post because it marks such a significant age for our little guy. Our sweet boy turns 2.9 years old next week, which, in the school/daycare world, is a big, important age because it means Qman is old enough for preschool! (Where did my baby go!?) Just this week, his teachers let us know that he’ll start to transition to preschool, splitting time there and in his current toddler classroom. There are two other kids in his class, who are moving to preschool too, so, hopefully, having some buddies will help with the transition. Anyway, here’s a recap from a day in our life earlier this week!
4:01 AM: I wake up drenched in sweat (ugh, annoying), so I get out of bed and change my clothes. I climb back into bed.
4:21 AM: My mind is wandering to my To Do list for the day as well as random things like whether or not baby carrots will freeze well since we have a big bag in the fridge, and I don’t think we’ll eat them all. (Have I mentioned I have an obsession with wasting food!?) I eventually give up on sleep, find my slippers, and head downstairs.
4:23 AM: I break out my laptop, answer a few emails, approve and reply to comments on my blog and social media.
4:45 AM: I pour myself a half glass of iced coffee mixed with Dandy Blend, collagen, and coconut creamer. I read an interesting article about giving up coffee and how it can help improve your skin. Obviously, I have zero interest in giving up my beloved iced coffee, but I figured cutting back would probably help. At home, I typically drink 2-3 glasses of iced coffee per day, so now I’m drinking a 1/2 to 1 glass with Dandy Blend mixed in. It tastes similar to coffee without the caffeine or acidity, and, bonus, dandelion and roasted chicory root are actually really good for you!
4:46 AM: I get to work – busy week ahead!
5:20 AM: Mal comes downstairs, says good morning, and starts to make his breakfast.
5:30 AM: We hear Quinn wake up. He’s whining/crying. We give him a few minutes to settle himself down, but he’s just getting more and more upset. Mal heads upstairs to try to calm him down. (If I go into his room at this hour, he will for sure want to get up and start the day.) I finish making Mal’s breakfast for him.
5:39 AM: Mal doesn’t have any luck with Qman. They come downstairs and head into the living room. I stop working and follow them in, thinking I can score some early-morning toddler cuddles.
5:40 AM: Mal doesn’t turn on the lights in the living room and he’s whispering “lay down” to Quinn, so I assume they worked out some sort of deal that he’ll go back to sleep on the couch. (Qman likes being “downstairs” once he hears that we’re up for the day.)
5:42 AM: All is quiet in the living room, so Mal comes back into the kitchen to eat his breakfast, and I start to work again.
6:00 AM: Quinn starts crying. “Nap time” is over. He wants to watch a show, so I grab my iced coffee and snuggle with him on the couch. We watch Octonauts.
6:19 AM: Quinn asks for a “bar, please,” which has become a morning ritual. He loves cereal bars and would eat them day and night if we let him. I know they have a lot of sugar, but he’s such a picky eater, we’re just happy he’s eating at all, and they’re not ALL bad. The PB& J Bars (gluten-free) as well as the Fig Cereal Bars from Trader Joe’s are actually semi-decent in the sugar department (11g, 13g) compared to other cereal bars, even the ones at Whole Foods (17-19g).
6:22 AM: Qman is content eating his bar and watching TV, so I head upstairs to quickly get ready for the day.
6:35 AM: We say goodbye to Dada.
6:44 AM: I make Quinn and me breakfast. He has mini pancakes, mango, Greek yogurt, and milk for breakfast. I eat scrambled eggs and roasted sweet potatoes. Quinn eats three bites of yogurt and one pancake and says he’s all done. Well, ok then. He starts playing with his cars, so I finish my breakfast and then get him ready for the day.
7:00 AM: Murphy’s all out of dog treats, so Quinn and I make him a batch!
7:45 AM: I pop the dog treats in the oven and clean up the kitchen.
8:00 AM: I offer Quinn his breakfast again. He eats a couple more pancakes, a few more bites of yogurt, and finishes his milk. Woohoo!
8:15 AM: Time for our bi-weekly Early Intervention session. Things are wrapping up with his services (he’s made great strides and probably won’t qualify for another year), so we chat, fill out paperwork, and play LEGOS.
9:30 AM: EI ends. I’m pretty hungry, so I whip up a snack: Apple chunks nuked in microwave with cinnamon on top.
9:39 AM: The doorbell rings, Murphy goes ballistic (the doorbell is his nemesis), and a special delivery arrives from my friends at General Mills... just in time for National Cereal Day!
Inside the package is a personalized Carrots ‘N’ Cake spoon.

10:25 AM: Qman tells me that he wants to “go in the car.” Well, ok then! I suggest a few places to go, and he ultimately decides on the “cows,” but immediately clarifies what he really wants to see and says “cat.”
10:42 AM: We arrive at Hornstra Farm and, as soon as I park the car, Quinn’s cat friend approaches us. We follow him around the farm for a solid 20 minutes before briefly stopping to see the cows.
11:06 AM: We head inside the farm store. We shop around for a little bit and ultimately decide to buy some Coffee Toffee ice cream. Great choice, Quinn!
11:10 AM: We leave the store and look for Quinn’s cat friend to say goodbye, but he’s nowhere to be found.
11:30 AM: We arrive home. I make us lunch.
12:15 PM: We finish eating lunch. Qman plays while I clean up.
12:45 PM: Nap time for Quinn.
1:00 PM: Workout time for Mumma!
Wearing: Reebok Nano 7.0 <— super cute, right?
1:30 PM: I take a quick shower, get dressed, and then get to work.
2:45 PM: I’m starting to get hungry, so I break out an RXBAR. Delicious!
3:30 PM: The UPS guy rings our doorbell, Murphy goes ballistic, and wakes up Quinn. Ughhhh. I used to put a note on the front door asking delivery people not to ring the doorbell during nap time, but no one has rung it in ages, so I just stopped doing it. I guess we got a new doorbell-happy UPS man? Blah. #momfail.
3:33 PM: I wait a few minutes to see if Quinn will settle himself down, but he’s getting more and more upset, so I head upstairs to his bedroom. He’s really sad, so I bring him downstairs to the living room. We cuddle on the couch for quite awhile. I keep thinking he’s asleep, but every time I look down at him, his eyes are open. Ha!
3:53 PM: Qman is (suddenly) finished with cuddle time, so he slides off the couch and (literally) runs into his playroom. Such a goof. Apparently, he really wanted to play with his cars at that very moment! Haha!
3:59 PM: Mal arrives home. We catch up and then decide to take a family walk since it’s such a nice day.
4:15 PM: Family walk!
4:55 PM: We arrive home after our walk. The (human) boys add some air to the tires on our jogging stroller while Murphy and I head upstairs for dinner.
4:58 PM: Dinnertime for Murphy!
6:07 PM: Dinnertime for the humans!
6:45 PM: We finish eating dinner. Mal and I tag team the cleaning in the kitchen and then we all have some ice cream for dessert!
7:00 PM: We watch a TV show with Quinn.
7:25 PM: Time to get Quinn ready for bed. Mal takes over pajamas, teeth, and books while I do a little work in my office. I check for “sugar bugs” after Quinn brushes his teeth and then join them for Qman’s favorite book of the moment.
7:55 PM: Bedtime for Quinn.
8:00 PM: Usually, Mal and I watch TV after we put Quinn to bed, but we’re both exhausted, so we get ready for bed ourselves, read for maybe 15 minutes, and then go to sleep.
8:30 PM: Lights out.
