Rowan tends to conceptualize truth as absolute to the individual. You can influence people if there's uncertainty, but once people have made up their mind about something, generally speaking, it's pretty pointless to try to change their mind. Operating around whatever a person considers the truth to be is a key aspect of Rowan's MO. (When, you know, they feel like bothering.)

Nat's the only one of the four who has any interest in plants! They're partial to succulents, and keep a few on their kitchen windowsill. They're all little trinkets they've picked up whole at the grocery store.

Rowan, Nat, and Sofi all prefer relaxing outdoors. Rowan likes fresh open air that promises opportunity; Nat loves the rushing wind and getting up into high places; and Sofi loves sunbathing.

Garrot's more of a relax indoors and lay in a blanket fort kinda guy.

Rowan doesn't travel that often, unless it's for a well deserved vacation. She usually travels with a few of her friends. She's mainly travelled to different parts of California or New York, however her favourite was when she got go to New Zealand with a few of her closest friends.

Dahlia doesn't really travel that often, she usually stays in California, unless it's to visit her brother in New York, which she usually does around the holidays. Her favourite trip is usually anywhere cold, gives her a break from LA.

Rowan usually eats anything and everything, she's not a picky eater at all. Her favourite food is usually a lasagne but doesn't have a favourite style. The only thing she doesn't eat is shellfish as she's allergic.

Dahlia is a pescatarian and has been for about a decade. She has a big sweet tooth so her favourite food is usually some form of pie with her go to being peach pie or cobbler. She doesn't have any allergies to any food, just to bee stings.

I like think David and Rowan met briefly as kids. Just the once on some kind of bring your kid to work day. They only made eye contact. Brief enough they don't remember it when they meet again later but... Idk I just think its a nice thought.

Send 👁 + a name for a list of 3-5 character details, traits, or mannerisms that would be noticeable about that character in a typical interaction.

I enjoy drawing attention in narration to Rowan's inner tensions and the little ways that leaks out, so that perhaps makes this less obvious: even when Rowan's nervous, stressed, or upset, their body language almost always reads loose, casual, and easy. The things I mention are small; you have to be particularly perceptive or know them well to notice. They are very practiced at functioning and maintaining that persona in high-pressure, dangerous situations.

Rowan's a manspreader. They're a grand total of five foot nothin and they can still take up an entire couch.

Rowan keeps their shoes on in the house. They pretty much only take them off at bedtime.

Nat is always in motion. I may not specify that they're moving. They're probably moving. Fidgeting with their hands or clothes, or bouncing their knee, something. If they're sitting still, something is wrong.

Nat touches people a lot; they're highly tactile generally. Little taps on the shoulder, taking someone's arm, touching their face. They tend towards very familiar touches very quickly.

Nat doesn't make a lot of eye contact, generally speaking. They'll like, glance at you, but there are probably more interesting things in the room. If Nat's making eye contact, they're really looking at you, and the full force of their focus can be intense.
