Very Important Announcement

Hello everyone.

I feel like this has been a long time coming since I first mentioned the commission, but I feel like it's time I make a proper announcement.

For the next 2-3 months, I will be going on hiatus.

This hiatus might last longer, or be shorter than this depending on how much of this commission I get done. I really want to focus on writing for this, without getting distracted, or feeling guilty for not working on something someone is actually paying me to write.

Granted, I may still post something every now and then during the hiatus if inspiration strikes, and it is not like I'm going to be going anywhere. I will most certainly still be around. This is just my official post saying updates on this blog (for series and the likes) are more than likely going to halt for the foreseeable future.

This is in my best interest so I can focus on my writing fully. I have commitments I need to dedicate more time and energy to right now, and that is what I fully intent to do.

Of course, my ask box will remain open, and I'll still be reblogging things, so I'm not gonna disappear forever. I just really need to be focussing on things I should be, and not procrastinating them like I so tend to do.

Orc or whatever kind of creature takes you as his mate, you agree… and then when you go to his bedroom instead of a bed you find a huge smooth cold ass rock. And they have no idea that no human with an option would sleep on that

I feel this harder than you know 😭 So tell me why I actually have a scar on my back from sexy time on a big ass flat rock 🫠 it's literally like sandpaper. I didn't even realize it until after.

Lesson learned: I have to just flop on his belly like a baby otter. I am the blanket now!

Are the Mukamis from Romania?

Since I saw this question again, I wanted to make another post about it...

Spoiler warning!!!

In Shu's Haunted Dark Bridal Vampire Ending, he ran away with Yui. He explained to her that they were going to "the end of the world". In further conversation, Shu mentioned the name of the place. The destination was without a doubt "Transylvania". A region that was once known as "the Holy Land of Vampires".

Then there was a flashback in Shu's More Blood Prologue in which he met Edgar/Yuma for the first time. Edgar/Yuma said to Shu that he should stay away from the forest because vampires live there.

The conclusion is that Shu ended up in Transylvania, the Holy Land of Vampires, as he ran away from the Demon World.

Not only Diabolik Lovers uses Transylvania. In literature and history, Transylvania is often mentioned as the paradise for vampires.

Now to Ruki's Lost Eden route. In Maniac 10, he went with Yui to his hometown in Eastern Europe to find out more about "the devil Trismégiste". No country or city names in this scene yet. But in Ruki's Maniac Epilogue, a scene started in a library where the name of the country was finally revealed. So the library of Ruki's hometown was located in Romania.

Based on the place where Shu and Edgar/Yuma met for the first time, the fact that Transylvania was mentioned and the library in Ruki's hometown, it can be assumed that the Mukamis were born in Transylvania.

Since we don't know when the Mukamis were born, we can't say for sure whether they are really Romanian. But nowadays Transylvania belongs to Romania.

What's the main purpose of this blog?

This blog mostly focuses on INFP related content. I'm not super knowledgeable when it comes to typology, so I mainly just focus on INFPs in my posts. It made the most sense to me because it's my own type, so obviously I have the most knowledge on it lol. Of course, anyone can enjoy this blog if they want! Not just INFPs!

Why did I create this blog?

I’ve had an interest in typology for a while. I think my main goal was just to create fun content for myself and others to enjoy. I've always wanted see more of this kind of content when it comes to mbti, because a lot of people take it too seriously imo. I see a lot of people using typology to dictate their entire views on themselves and other people, and while I have a huge interest in psychology, using mbti to form your opinions on other is no better than using astrology to do so. Mbti is a pseudoscience anyway, so this blog is really just meant to be fun!

🌙 Typology Journey ☁️

How'd I get into mbti? Well basically it all started one day in 5th grade. I was bored and procrastinating classwork lol. I've always enjoyed taking tests that analyze your personality (like the uquiz ones), and so I googled "personality tests." Then sure enough I came across 16p, and my obsession with typology began. I got INFP-A the first time, and I've gotten INFP-T ever since. I sent the test to like everyone I knew cus I wanted to compare results w them, and I got really into mbti skits and youtubers (basically Frank James lmao).

Then a couple years later I discovered PDB (Personality Database) after looking up "infp fictional characters" or something like that. I then found out that 16p wasn't super accurate or something, because they typed people by letters and not the cognitive functions. I actually had no idea what they were and why they were important, or why letter typing was "less accurate." It turns out letter-typing is frowned upon and seen as less accurate by like half the community because the cognitive functions were actually part of the original theory. I learned that the letters are basically just an oversimplified version of the actual functions in order to help beginners understand better, but when you type someone you don’t actually ask if they're more introverted or extroverted and what not.

Anyway now back to the important stuff lol.

I was one of the lucky people who was actually typed correctly by PDB. I took more "accurate" tests like Sakinorva and Keys2Cog, but I still got INFP even then. I even read more about the functions and my type online through my own research, after I found out that even the more "accurate" tests weren't always reliable. I also asked a few of my friends I met through PDB, who understood mbti better than I did, and asked them. Pretty much everyone said I was an INFP, so there was that.

As for enneagram, I just took a test and got 2w1. I didn't have as much knowledge on enneagram, so I went with that. Then when I asked people what they thought for my enneagram, a few people said 4w5, and once again I didn't question it. As for my tritype and ivs those were pretty easy to figure out with some explanation, and I went with 496.

But for a while I always found myself relating to the 9 traits more than 4 traits, especially sx 9. And a lot of people actually agreed with me, some said my 9 traits were too strong to only be one of my fixes, so then I typed as INFP 9w1 for a while.

And then, pretty recently I found out that was actually impossible. As you may know, not all type combinations are possible—and that includes INFPs and 9s. At first I thought people were being stupid and over-exaggerating, how would their traits contradict? But then I eventually found out that most "INFP 9s" are actually 6s, because 6s and 9s look very similar— especially sp 6s. So yea now I'm officially INFP 6w5! I basically ended up switching around my tritype order a bunch of times lol

As for the other parts of my typology, like socionics. I didn't really put much effort into that lol. I can somewhat understand mbti and enneagram, but I barely understand anything else. So once again I asked other people what they thought and pretty much everyone agreed on EII, and that was it!

OUT OF CHARACTER'S CONTEXT

This year's State of Play was decent. Better than last year's where Marvel games took 95% of the event.

Good to see Capcom gives life to their franchise Street Fighter and a new remake/remaster mix of another Resident Evil.

Some indie games were intriguing too, and to know FFXVI will be out next year, is reassuring, it seems they've returned to their FFIX style, dark themes but in a new opus to be discovered !

Can't wait to see the big event of the Summer Games Fest to know what prepares Square Enix out of FFXVI for FFVII Remake since they've leaked an image of the motion capture and all. They better give us something around FFVII, at least for FFVII Ever Crisis if not about the Remake.

Hello!

Making an official announcement here to say I'm tentatively pulling out of the hiatus to make it become a semi-hiatus since I've been posting a lot more recently. I'm still mainly focussed on the commission, but I've had more energy and motivation to write things outside of it here and there, so I think it's appropriate to say I'm going to be a little bit more active on here in the future.

Writers block and seasonal depression hit me really hard this winter, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel!

Just saw a test about personality types (MBTI test) and it made me think again.

First of all, I would like to say that I am not very familiar with it. But some time ago I made several different tests for Ruki myself just for fun and discussed them with my friends on Ruki's Discord server afterwards.

His result was always ISTJ.

I am aware that Ruki's personality type is named as INTJ in the fandom.

However, I wanted to share my result with you guys. It is based on how I see and interpret Ruki. And of course, it's all just fun.
