Haha, I could definitely see something like that happening. I feel like Catnap is just naturally good at putting people to sleep (with or without his gas), so I think it would make Dogday a little jealous (but he'd still appreciate it, I think!)

baby space - I want a caregiver to know me so well that when I'm struggling to use my words and extra whiney, they check to see if I have my rattle, stuffie, and paci. No? "I know why you're all fussy muffin, I'll be right back!" - read me my favorite Bluey books and ask me to point things out - sit through my babbles and pay attention to me when I point to something I want - "hold on baby, let mommy help, you're way too tiny for that!" - cut my food into silly/cute shapes and feed me - I'm able to stim in front of them and they can tell if it's a happy stim to be unbothered, or a distress stim - viciously shaking my unicorn rattle and being met with smiles - babas toddler space (most frequent for me) - grabbing a book and sitting next to me as they help me read it, correcting some words or finishing a sentence if it's too hard. (also asking me about what happened in the story) - being able to understand my broken sentences or the few words I give - "mamaaa! color stuffi?" "hmm, I don't see why your stuffie couldn't join us doll" "eeepp!" - putting me down for naps if needed (even if I fight them), or talking to me about why I'm so fussy - letting me help with cooking! like mixing cookie dough! - "away from the oven you get sweetie, only mommy's gonna put the cookies in, it's dangerous for her little one." - helping with my tantrums or meltdowns, figuring out why they happened and how they can help me feel better. - PLAYTIME!! with my dollies, cars, pretend food sets, all of that - pretend play is a must - helping me with my activity books! whether its counting on my fingers or asking me simple questions about colors - also helping me with puzzles if I get too frustrated - being patient with telling me things, calling me gently if I seem unfocused or distracted. - "kamz, kamz angel- hi there! can you listen to mommy for a second? good girl!" smol kiddo space (rare for me) - outdoors! flower picking, climbing trees, collecting rocks, all of that! - "baby don't run off too far, wait for mama!" - playgrounds and picnics! but specifically I wanna ride swings - simple video games generally - understanding my sensory needs and accomodating them - blanket forts - being showered with love and them enjoying caring for me as much as I enjoy being cared for by them - them knowing how to put me in smolspace and keep me there - "it's okay to be little love, I won't judge you. I love it when you're like this, it makes me so happy and it seems to do that for you too" - understand I have involuntary regression (for negative things) at times and accept if it happens. - "lots of big girl feelings huh? I know, I know. let's go snuggle up and you can let it all out." - notice when I'm feeling tiny, even if I try to hide it - "is someone feeling smol today? here, this is a little stuffie keychain, can you keep them safe until we get home?" - honestly just treat me like the age i regress to.

A Cold Weather Agere Story

Hot Cocoa and Warm Smiles <3

Hi guys! This is my first time posting my writing on tumblr, and i must admit I'm somewhat nervous. please be gentle :)

It's a short story of coming home and being cozy and warm after an exhausting day. I hope you enjoy it!

You had a long day. You walk into your cozy, safe, happy home and flop over onto your plush couch. You take a deep breath, trying to let your stress leave your body. You’re tired, and you don’t feel like doing anything. It’s cold in your home; you walk into your bedroom, and wrap a blanket around yourself.

You nestle under the covers, and fall asleep, feeling warm and peaceful. After a while you wake up, and find that it’s nighttime! You really needed that rest. (rest of the story is below!)

You get out of bed, the blanket still draped about you, and wander into the kitchen, rubbing at your sleepy eyes. You yawn.

“Something warm, something warm,” you think to yourself. You look in your cupboards, and your smile lights up the room. Hot chocolate! You immediately grab the packet, follow the directions, and soon enough, you have a nice warm mug of hot cocoa. You get a bottle of whipped cream, and put some on your steaming cocoa, twirling the fluffy cream into a peak on top.

You nestle into your couch and turn on your favorite movie. Relaxing, you sip your cocoa, enjoying the warmth and coziness it brings you. As you sip your cocoa, you decide that something is missing -- your stuffies! Surely they want to spend some time with you and watch your favorite shows, because your favorite shows are their favorite shows, too!

You spring to your feet, and dash into the hallway leading to your bedroom. You open the door; in front of you is your beloved bedroom, with its [your favorite color] walls and your fun [your favorite pattern/favorite animal/favorite cartoon character] sheets! There’s a big window in your bedroom, and you can see the sky. The moon and stars are so pretty and twinkly!

With a smile on your face, you cross the room to get to your bed. There, on your bed, sits [name of your favorite stuffie]! They look very happy to see you today. Well, they’re happy to see you every day, but still!

You take your stuffie and give it a big hug, squeezing it tight. You walk back into the living room. You decide to get a snack - yummy! You eat your favorites as you watch the movie and sip your cocoa! After the movie is over you brush your teeth, floss, and wash your face! You turn on your nightlight, and nestle under the covers, surrounded by your stuffies. You are perfectly safe and at peace. Nothing will disturb your peaceful, soothing slumber. 

When you wake up in the morning, the sun is shining bright and you can hear birds singing. It was good to relax the night before - now you can tackle the new day with all of your might! You open your bedroom window and smell the fresh air. For breakfast, you decide to make a certain drink - more hot chocolate! Today is going to be a great day, for sure!

tl/dr: you come home on a cold day and get cozy with your stuffies and drink hot chocolate :)

Imagine: your caregiver f/o likes to give you bubble baths with pretty bath bombs and nice smelling soaps. They wash your hair so lovingly and gently before moving on to lather you up with a warm washcloth. Once you’re all clean, you get a kiss on the forehead, and they sit with you and enjoy the bubbles or play with you with your bath toys. After bath time, they help you dry off with a soft, fluffy towel, and then it’s time for your comfiest jammies and some cuddles before bed.

Missing Harry

Caregiver: Harry Potter x Regressor: reader

You’re in the regression headspace while home alone in the flat that you and Harry share, feeling eager to see Harry after his quidditch practice. He's been gone most of the day, but he needs to practice a lot for the quidditch tournament that's coming up soon at Hogwarts University. The campus is hidden from muggles near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which you and Harry both graduated from last June. Now the two of you are enrolled in Hogwarts University where Harry is training to be an Auror and you’re training for your dream career in the wizarding world. Harry is also the seeker on the men’s quidditch team for the university, in exchange for a full scholarship.

Now It’s almost the end of September, the two of you have piles of assignments to do and a bunch of textbook chapters to study. Today is your day off from classes. Instead of using the day to catch up on school work, you end up having a regression day. You’re hoping it will help reduce some of your stress. It would be a perfect regression day if only Harry was home to take care of you.

Harry has been your caregiver for a few months now, but it feels like a lot longer because of how attached you’ve gotten to him. During an intense week of finals last June, you slipped into small space while studying next to Harry in the library. Rather than try to hide your regression, you decide to tell him about it. Tears roll down your cheeks as you tell him and admit to feeling lonely without a caregiver. Luckily Harry is very supportive. He tries to comfort you with a tight hug and rubs circles on your back. Students at other tables look up from their books to glance in your direction, but you pretend to not care. When you’re calmed down, Harry surprisingly offers to start being your caregiver. At first Harry didn’t really know how to be a caregiver, but he’s learnt a lot since that day in the library. His confidence as a carer has grown alongside his knowledge of what being a SFW caregiver means. Now you feel like the luckiest regressor ever because of how good of a caregiver he is. When he gets home later, he will be happy to notice that you're regressed on your day off from classes.

You spend the morning doing your favourite regression activity. When your tummy begins to rumble, you prepare your favourite regression snack. After finishing your lunch, you curl up on the couch with a stuffie in each arm and turn on Paw Patrol. This will help pass the last thirty minutes until Harry supposed to be home.

Before you know it the creak of the front door opening can be heard. There’s a loud thud from Harry’s Firebolt dropping on the floor. Not knowing that you are regressed yet, Harry calls out your name instead of one of your nicknames.

“In here!” You call out

His footsteps get louder as he makes his way into the living room. His lips curl into a warm smile at the sight of you looking cozy underneath a blankie while still clinging onto your stuffies. 

“Sorry for being so loud, baby, I didn’t realize you are in small space.” Harry apologies, taking a seat on one of the arm rests

“It’s okay dada,” you reply, climbing onto his lap to snuggle

“How are you doing, baby? Are you hungry or sleepy?"

Harry starts running his fingers softly through your hair as you rest your head on his chest.

“Sleepy.” You mumble, rubbing your eyes with your fist

“Let’s just relax and watch cartoons after I change into some comfier clothes, okay?” Harry suggests, carefully lifting you from his lap and places you back onto the couch “I’ll be right back, baby.” 

He exits the room which makes you a little nervous, since you don’t like him to venture too far from you when you’re regressed. Paw Patrol continues playing on the TV though, which is a welcome distraction for you. Thankfully he returns a few minutes later wearing a plain black t-shirt and black sweatpants. In one hand he has two apple juice boxes and the other hand holds two mini bags of crisps.

“I'm hungry from practice. So I thought I’d get us both a snack. When we're both full, we can snuggle and have a nap.” Harry says, setting down the snack on the coffee table

He lays on the couch and tosses your beige fuzzy blankie from before over the two of you. After he is sitting comfortably, you lean up against him.

He pokes the tiny straw into the juice box and hands it to you. You begin slurping the juice while he opens your bag of crisps. With your free hand, you grab a few crisps from the bag on your lap and nibble them. Even though you ate your snack not too long ago, there is still room in your tummy for this second snack.

After the juice box is slurped dry and there's only a few crumbs on the crisps bag, you set the garbage down onto the coffee table.

While yawning, you rest your head on Harry's chest again. The rhythmic rise and fall of his chest helps you get closer to falling asleep. 

“It’s okay if you fall asleep, baby, I’ll still be laying here when you wake up.” Harry assures you

Okay, nini dada.” You say, beginning to suck on your thumb since there's no paci nearby

"Nini baby. Have sweet dreams." is the last thing you hear him say before allowing yourself to fall into a deep sleep

Caregiver Ibuki Mioda headcanons!

Ibuki plays you songs on her guitar and even makes up her own to keep you entertained while you're small! If you're not too little, she'll even let you fiddle around with her instruments! If you're a bigger kiddo, she'll teach you simple songs or some cool chords! She loves playing childish songs like "Mary had a little lamb" but with her own metallish shred!! :))

She is ALL about you having fun in your littlespace! If she knows your little age, she DEFINITELY researches age-appropriate activites for you and sets up stuff and games according to that! Anything from arts and crafts to competitive video games, she's got you! You'll be having a blast with her!

Ibuki isn't really a strict caregiver, she doesn't wanna seem like a pushover, but she actually thinks punishments are pretty boring and lame! That's why she only has the essential rules like eating enough, drinking water, etc. Whenever you're in a fussy mood or upset, she tries to talk to you or distract you by being silly, it usually works!

When you're little, she calls you her little rockstar or superstar! She also likes kiddo, rascal, muffin, munchkin, and other silly names like that! She absolutely loves being called Mama as a caregiver name, but Mimi also melts her heart!

Definitely the type of caregiver to give you piggy back rides and ruffle your hair! You think you're safe from tickles? NOPE, tickle monster Ibuki is on your back! WILL also smother you in kisses, hugs, and affection in general!

I think she'd be really good with kiddos aged 4 and older, because she can do a huge range of things! You wanna do pretend play? She's the goofiest actress around! Play outside? She's already packed your bag! Video games? She's got the snacks and everything!

She absolutely adores younger regressors though! Ibuki would give a ton of noise-making toys like rattles, button ones, and more! (She might end up using them more than you...I mean how else will she show you how awesome music is?!) She'd be happy to make your stuffies talk and build blocks with you! And yes, she'd even let you pull on her cool looking hair!

LOVES to dress up her little one in colorful looking ways! If you'd let her, she'd dress you just like she is!

If you're upset or something is wrong, it might take it a little to notice, but once she does, you'll be attacked with ALL the comfort! Snacks? Cuddles? Words of affirmation? Whatever you need, she'll be there and won't leave your side!

Ibuki's pretty possessive over you, getting a little jealous if you're happy with a babysitter, but she tries not to show it!

Definitely prepares little snacks for you in character themed plates or containers. (Yes she does take notes of your favorites!)

Bath time is SOOO much fun because she's got bubbles and toys everywhere! Rubber duckies, floaties, turtles, boats, you name it!

While you're playing with your toys, she air guitars to get some giggles and smiles out of you!

Ibuki puts so much effort into making your regression as comforting and enjoying as possible because she really cares about you! She wants you to have the treatment you deserve and it makes her happy whenever you're happy. The warmth she feels from your smiles and giggles melts her heart in a way she didn't know was possible

"Okay, rockstar! Bathtime's over....BUT how about we get your favorite cartoon playing! That's my baby!"
